    Best Headphones I’ve Ever Owned

I now own two pairs of ANC Bluetooth headphones and one pair of Samsung’s Buds Pro. The Bose QuietComforts are by far the best sounding and have the most effective noise cancellation. They also cost what the other two cost, combined, so there’s that. That said, I believe the QuietComforts are worth every penny. I never owned any of the earlier iterations of the QCs or the Ultras, so I can’t compare them, but these sounded amazing right out of the box. Some minor tweaks with the simple EQ, and they are meeting my every expectation. I have listened to lots of music and audiobooks on my phone, as well as watching TV. They sound amazing with whatever they’re playing. The setup couldn’t be simpler, and the app is very easy to navigate. The EQ is limited, but it seems to be more than enough to tailor them to your preferences. The microphones work very well for calls and meetings. ANC is very effective. It would be nice to be able to turn ANC completely off when it’s not needed, but it’s not really an issue for me. 24 hours of battery is more than enough. I know that’s not really much compared to even significantly cheaper headphones, but I imagine smaller, lighter batteries contribute to their light weight and overall comfort. Bose engineers know what they’re doing. Having truly comfortable headphones with amazing sound quality is more important than being able to go a week without charging. They last 6 times longer than my buds with ANC, so I’m good with a whole day.The case, and the ability to fit into the small case is a nice bonus. This makes them very easy to pack.I’m more than satisfied with these headphones, and would not hesitate to buy another pair if needed.

Great headphones for professional and personal use

As a professional that works from home and has a modest number of meetings throughout the day, good earwear is essential for me working successfully. The Bose QuietComfort headset provides all these comforts.Initial setup was a breeze! A QR code in the box directed my phone to an installation page. The app installed easy, connected right away, and provided a simple tutorial for usage. The tutorial was a great add on. There was a button to switch between multiple levels of noise cancellation. I enjoyed this – a lot of times I only want the background slightly muted. Other times, I want complete silence. The Bose headphones provide me with both options. Phone integration was superb. I was able to use Siri directly from the headset. The Bose Headset also supports up to two Bluetooth devices. I was able to connect my main desktop computer pretty easily – just hold the Bluetooth button until it went into pairing mode again, then step through attaching my computer to the headphones. Switching between the phone and computer was effortless. Microphone quality was excellent, so taking calls and performing meeting worked really well.A headphone cable is also included. I love having this feature in case I need to connect to another computer quickly. I have multiple workstations throughout the house, so this option is great.Storage size is great. The headphones case with an excellent case, and phone quite compactly for travel. The noise cancelling features are nice in coffee shops and other public spaces when I wish to perform work. The headset is comfortable as well. Sometimes I want to just listen to music, and not worry about a device falling out of my ears. The Bose headphones provides an unparalleled experience – great sound and a comfortable fit.I am extremely pleased with the Bose Headset, and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone that is looking for a great headset.

    Works Great

They’re kind of small but I have a small head so they fit me just perfect and still go over my ears. I wouldn’t recommend these if you have big ears unless you don’t mind them sitting on your ears. The bluetooth was confusing at first. You do NOT need the app, it’s completely useless. The sound quality is just fine how it is unless you’re an audio snob.Switch them on, and push the switch over 1 extra notch (it should snap back to the middle) to make it searchable to a new device. To switch through multiple connected devices, push it again until you get the one you want. It will tell you through the headphones which device it’s connected to. Certain devices can be connected at the same time, but it will prioritize whichever one is making sound first. The 3.5mm jack works with and without noise canceling. Be aware that if the noise canceling is off, the in-headphone volume does NOT work, so you will have to adjust your volume from your device. It will take a few seconds for the noise canceling to kick in.My only complaint is that they don’t work while charging, but they charge super fast and the battery lasts for a while. I usually charge it once a week, or every 3 days if I’m using them a lot. They will tell you when you turn them on what the battery level is.The noise canceling isn’t perfect but it’s pretty good. Drowns out my noisy party neighbors downstairs and the other neighbors across the hall with the constantly screeching kids. It makes a funny pop if you clip your nails.

ANC HEADPHONE COMPARISON: BOSE QUIETCOMFORT / 1MORE SONOFLOW / BEATS SOLO PRO / AIR PODS PRO

I’ve owned & extensively used the Beats Solo Pros & Air Pods Pros. I gave the Beats to my daughter as the ‘on-the-ear’ design was causing me pain on flights. I migrated to the AirPods Pros hoping I’d get similar performance to the Beats with more comfort and less bulk on flights. Ultimately, the Air Pods Pros just won’t stay in my ears and the ANC just isn’t as effective due to the lack of ear covers or better plugs. So recently I ordered the new Bose QuietComforts and the 1More Sonoflows to compare. I was hopeful on the 1More product due to being on sale for $67 and that the price savings would outweigh any deficits. But ultimately I am going with the Bose QCs. This is my personal opinion and what works best for me. Keep in mind I have not extensively tested the Bose or 1More yet, but spent a day alternating between the two so this is based on initial impressions. Categories are in personal order of importance.COMFORT/DESIGN: I gave up the Beats due to pain/pressure from prolonged use of the on the ear cups. I am also not a fan of the Air Pods Pro design, nor getting them to fit in my ears well and stay (I love the original air pods, and I’ve tried multiple buds for the Pros). I have a large head so the Beats had to be fully extended to be on my head properly which probably increased pressure. They fit my adult daughter much better. The Bose QCs don’t require full extension on me, completely cover my ears, and the cups are really soft. The 1More product covers completely, and is comfortable, but heavier & puts more pressure around my ears than the Bose, so I’m skeptical if I’d want to wear them more than an hour or so. The pressure is a drawback especially given the ANC performance noted next.RANKING: Bose QC > 1More Sonoflow > Beats SoloPro > Air Pods ProANC: In my immediate comparison of the Bose QCs and the 1More Sonoflow, there was a large difference in noise cancellation. I use an infrared heater in my office sometimes that is pretty noisy. Comparable to airplane noise but quieter. The Bose is very effective against it despite fitting looser than the 1More product. But the Bose has less options than the Beats for ANC modes and I found the Beats to be slightly better at full ANC than the Bose and quicker to switch modes. The Air Pods are at a disadvantage here being an earbud product but they are effective and travel light. The 1More product was the worst performer on ANC for me.RANKING: Beats Solo Pro > Bose QuietComfort > Air Pods Pro > 1More Sonoflow.SOUND/EQ/APP: I always found the Beats Solo Pros to be balanced, clear, dynamic and pleasant. Integrated with Apple, they worked great though many audiophiles will complain about the lack of EQ adjustments. I liked the simplicity of them and not having to have an additional app. Same goes for the Air Pods. The Bose Sound is very good, as you would expect from Bose, and their App is simple and ok. Out of the box very good and you can tune them to preference. The 1More Product out of the box is definitely at the bottom of the pile. It had an almost metallic, chunky, machine sound to me. You can adjust them, update firmware, and tune them with the app which made the largest difference in the performance compared to the others. The app did have a neat white noise feature with some different options. It also had twice as many EQ adjustments points over the Bose. Ultimately, I enjoy the Bose sound the most followed by the Beats and AirPods and then the 1More, but once tuned all are very good, especially if ANC with music or video on an airplane are your target use.RANKING: Bose QC > Beats Solo Pro > Air Pods Pro > 1More Sonoflow.PHYSICAL FUNCTIONALITY: For me, I love the Beats functionality. Buttons are intuitive and easy to use, typical tactile Apple design. AirPods are similar. So far the Bose is ok, it’s intuitive and the buttons seem like they will be easy to learn. The 1More Sonoflow is last here. All buttons on the right side, the power button in front doubles as a function button and for me it’s awkward trying to find it on the front. The 1More is last by a bit for me here.RANKING: Beats Solo Pro > Air Pods Pro > Bose QC > 1More SonoflowCASE: Beats Case is cheap and not protective at all. AirPods are AirPods. The 1More Case fits but is a bit bulky, rounded, and the included accessory net is too small. The Bose Case is well made, stiff, protective, has a large accessory net, and is rectangular shaped. Personally I see it fitting in a carry on laptop bag or backpack much easier.RANKING: Bose QC > 1More Sonoflow > AirPods Pro > Beats Solo ProBATTERY LIFE: This is of limited importance to me. But it seems to get tons of mention in every online review you read. The headphones all have insanely long run times compared to older devices. I always charge before a trip and never seem to end up with dead devices. Charge your stuff. Not that hard.

    Great noise canceling

Very lightweight and comfortable for long use. Excellent noise canceling with a variable awareness setting and profiles so you can hear around you similar to electronic earpro but without the high decibel protection. The connections can get a little wonky depending on what devices you’re connecting to. The bose music app is good. There aren’t instructions in the box so you must use the app if you don’t understand the headphones. The app is also necessary to use all the features of the headphones, such as hot swapping connections and sound/awareness profile and button customization. Overall best noises canceling headphones I’ve used but I haven’t tried many. Sound quality is very good. Not at good as professional sound engineering headphones but that’s to be expected. The frequency range is excellent regardless.

    Headphones

I just say. I do like these headphones. I’ve never owned anything Bose. So this is my first purchase.I look into these headphones because I could not get any kind of earbuds to fit inside my ear. I did have a pair I really liked but one of the earbuds ended up going out within 3 months. I got frustrated and decided to go with over the head headphones. Going old school I should say! LOLI love the color and they are pretty decent at noise cancellation. I wore them the whole time in the airport and on the plane. They are very comfortable and did not irritate me in any way giving a kind of headache or bothering of the ears.Con:My only issue that I get really annoyed about is that even though I have it connected to my phone and I am currently listening to music, it disconnects and connects to my iPad. I don’t know how or why it does that but that’s the only thing that frustrates me. I’m not sure if maybe I have to play with my iPad settings but even though I turn the Bluetooth off my iPad it’ll still turn on and then my headphones connect. So that is my only frustration is when I’m listening to music it will randomly disconnect from my phone and connect to my iPad instead. Phone calls are great and the buttons are easy to access. I do like how the button I’m able to hold it and use voice to do whatever command I need. I have an Android and it works fairly well.Overall, I really like these headphones

Replaced some Sony’s with these and glad I did

Overall great sound quality. I’m not an audiophile or anything but they suit my needs just well. I primarily use them around the gym and house. Good feel on my big head and feels like a good build quality. Never owned a Bose product before these and I’m glad I bought them. My wife gets annoyed all the time I can’t hear her so the noise cancelling is pretty solid. My one complaint though is about the noise cancelling. Specific sounds don’t gel well with it. An example is I use them while putting dishes away if I put silverwear away the sound of two butter knives hitting each other makes the noise cancelling not know what to do and makes a pretty sharp noise to try and cancel it. There are other very specific things that cause this but easy to work around. It’s my one and only complaint about them.

    Worth every penny!

This is one of the best things I have bought for myself. I love to listen to music or audio books while cleaning or cooking, so having wireless headphones is wonderful, and I prefer over ear headphones for comfort. The Bose sound quality is fantastic as always. I am also easily distracted by ambient sounds, and the noise canceling technology with these has been an incredible stress reliever! The “quiet” mode blocks out almost all of sound around me allowing me to focus or relax, while the “aware” mode blocks out distracting noise while still allowing me to hear if someone speaks to me, or the phone beeps, or someone is at the door. These are very comfortable, the case is perfect, and the battery life is excellent! I wish I had purchased them sooner!

    Really amazing

I have had lots of $40-60 headphones in my life and a few that did noise cancelling, and these blow them all out of the water by a huge margin. If you have some music on and noise cancelling enabled you will absolutely not hear your kids/wife in the same room unless they yell very loudly or happen to speak sharp/loud/quick at a perfect break in the music. These should be more heavily marketed to fathers everywhere to allow them to get 30 minutes of peace after work. Even without the music on it still blocks out as much noise as an average set of shooting earmuffs. In the “aware” mode you’ll hear everything in your life just as good as you would with a single headset off your ear and the other one on, playing music. The bluetooth works great, connecting to multiple devices (phone and PC etc) at once with no foolish rules/policies that make it annoying. The other reviewers saying you have to have an app to use these are definitely wrong. You can install the app if you want extra features but you can also just pair it to your phone/tablet/pc like any other device and use it as-is. That’s exactly what I did and it works great with all the standard features you would expect.Excellent hardware/buttons etc:- L side button switches between NC and “aware” mode, great feature to have in an easy to hit button- R side main button: single tap pauses whatever is playing, double tap jumps to next song, triple tap goes back- R side volume up and separate volume down buttons intuitively located- On button is also slide-and-hold for pairing: great feature that is impossible to do accidentally- USB-C charging- port to use hardwire cable to connect directly if you cannot understand the blueteeth thing or want to play something from a device that has no bluetooth or won’t pair.Favorite feature: plug in the 2′ hardwire cable (which has a tiny but good inline mic on it) and let it dangle or tuck in a shirt pocket: you now have a top quality, silent, noise cancelling headset with a good mic (without changing any mode, hitting buttons etc) that allows you to talk on the phone in bliss. Now instead of yelling at my kids to be quiet every 5 minutes that I’m on the phone, I just put these on and have a great phone call.In the small house that we live in these have made my life a lot better and allow me to let my kids run around loudly having fun at times when I just want some quiet, and when I would have otherwise made them tone it down. The only downside to know about is that these are effective enough to where you need to be careful not to use the noise cancelling when you have much going on that you need to pay attention to. For example: you would not hear your sink overflowing or a pot boiling over, I didn’t hear my woodstove fire getting too hot the other day, you won’t hear early warnings of kids having trouble (probably wouldn’t hear choking etc but would still notice actual screaming nearby). You would still hear something break or a loud whack etc, but probably wouldn’t hear a vehicle pull up in your driveway. It does to some extent take away a major “sense” so you can’t use it as often as you might like. For those other times, like if your wife is cooking and can hear the kids for you if there is trouble, and you just want to relax, I feel like I would almost pay the purchase price of these per week that I got to use them it is so awesome.

    Awesome Noise Cancellation!!

I bought these because I wanted to have headphones that blocked outside noises while enjoying listening to my music. These do not disappoint! You can enjoy the noise cancellation even if you’re not listening to music if you’re wanting to read in a noisy environment for example. I have never had any headphones quite like this before. You can choose between Aware mode that allows outside noise to filter in if you need to be more aware of your surroundings and Quiet mode that hushes most noises around you. The ear cups make a nice seal around your ears that cuts out a lot of noise even without the noise cancellation enabled. With the Quiet mode enabled and music turned on, the world around you becomes silent. You can see people’s mouths moving but hear nothing. The audio quality is amazing and with the Bose app on my cellphone, I can adjust the low, mid and high frequencies to fine tune the sound. The battery life has been great.Only problem that I have experienced is that in order to register the warranty for your headphones with Bose, you’ll need the serial number, which is under one of the ear cup covers. You have to take off the inner ear cup insert. That’s not the problem: putting it back on is. If you don’t remount it properly, the noise canceling doesn’t work for that ear. Maybe you won’t have that problem like I did, but before I figured out what was wrong, I thought that I had defective headphones.I hope my experience helps you as you decide whether or not to keep this model of headphones on your list of choices.

    Good headphones

The noise cancel feature is pretty good, you can only hear some stuff through it. The sound quality is good. The comfort isn’t 100% but I’m also super sensitive with anything touching my head and ears so I may not be the best judge of that.

    Worth all the hype

These are my first Bose headphones. I am madly in love with them! They are beyond the hype. I don’t know what I expected, but the silencing is absolutely perfect! The sound quality is amazing. I will never own headphones that are not Bose again!I wanted these for a couple reasons – I am a poker player and sometimes the rooms get loud. I will love to be able to have the silence. Also sometimes players get loud and obnoxious, I won’t have to have such loud screaming in my ears.Second reason is silly, but I work from home and so does my husband. I have really sensitive hearing and he taps his foot obsessively while thinking and it distracts me. I would beg him to stop and he even offered to move his office to the basement. That is absurd and drastic. Not only do I no longer hear his tapping but he will talk to me and I had no clue he was speaking. This is funny but also reassuring that these work so amazingly!

    Ultimate Comfort and Sound Quality

As a physics teacher, I often find myself needing a haven of peace and tranquility to focus on my work and research. The new Bose QuietComfort Headphones have been an absolute game-changer in this regard, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. First and foremost, the noise-canceling technology in these headphones is simply outstanding. Whether it’s the bustling city streets or the noisy subway commute, these headphones create a cone of silence that allows me to escape into my own world of concentration. It’s like having a personal soundproofed classroom wherever I go, making it easier to delve into the intricacies of physics. The audio sound quality of these headphones is nothing short of phenomenal. Bose has always been known for its exceptional audio, and these headphones are no exception. The rich and balanced sound allows me to appreciate the nuances of my favorite music and podcasts, which is a welcome break from the analytical world of physics. Comfort is essential during long hours of teaching and research, and the Bose QuietComfort Headphones excel in this department. The plush ear cushions and adjustable headband provide a snug and comfortable fit that I can wear for extended periods without any discomfort. This is crucial for me as I often spend hours grading papers and preparing lectures. One of the standout features of these headphones is the amazing Bose Music app. It not only enhances the user experience but also adds a layer of customization to my listening preferences. With the app, I can fine-tune the noise-canceling settings, adjust the EQ to suit my music taste, and seamlessly switch between different devices. It’s like having a physics lab control panel at my fingertips for my music. In conclusion, the Bose QuietComfort Headphones have become an indispensable tool in my daily life as a teacher. The noise-canceling, audio sound quality, comfort, and the Bose Music app combine to create an exceptional listening experience that enhances my productivity and allows me to immerse myself in both the world of physics and the world of music with equal enthusiasm. These headphones are a must-have for anyone seeking a perfect blend of technology and comfort.

Sound is great. Wind Block technology doesn’t work

These are great over the ear headphones. Sound quality is clear. I heard bands saying words in songs I had never heard before. Bass boost pumps in tons of bass for songs that hit hard. Battery life lasts forever. The only issue, and the main reason I purchased this product, is the Wind Block technology doesn’t work very well (or at all). I like to walk and talk during my lunch break and the first thing the person on the other line said, “Is it windy there? Because that’s all I hear.” I call Bose customer support and spent 20 minutes answering irrelevant questions like “Is the bass too loud?” Or “Are you hearing a crackling noise?” I put the headphones on and walked outside and the agent says, “I’m hearing a lot of wind noise”. They go on to say the Wind Block technology doesn’t block out all the noise, it just reduces the noise. Yeah, not so much.If you’re dedicated to Bose, then save yourself some money and buy the lower end QuietComfort headphone models to get the same results.

Easy set up, comfortable and sounds great. My one complaint, why does it not come with a charger? 🔌 I just assumed I spend this amount of money on headphones that it would come with everything I needed to recharge them. Quality replacement

I had a set of Bose QC headphones that no longer functioned. This after several years of use. I got these as a replacement and they are the same quality I’ve come to expect from Bose.I have a few minor gripes. When turning my head, I can hear the plastic creak. The ‘voice’ that plays when you turn it on can be a little annoying. Otherwise, I love this headset.

    Worth the Price

Excellent product. I have owned Bose Quiet Comfort before and I keep coming back. The sound quality is great, the battery life is amazing and I think it’s greatest feature, and the material is durable (of course it’ll ware and tear overtime, but if you take good care of them they’ll last a you a while). Overall the product is worth the price, however, the price itself is a little elevated which is expected for any Bose product. It is a little investment, take good care of them, and enjoy.

    Not for smaller heads

I wear a 7 3/8 hat and at the tightest setting they fall off my head if I look up or down. Beware!Otherwise a great noise cancellation headphones. However, Aware mode just means no noise reduction, so if outdoors in wind that is all you will hear.

You can’t go wrong with Bose

The sound is great and they are quite comfortable wear. I wore them for a 9-hour flight and the noise reduction mad3 the flight more tolerable. One complaint – If you use the wired connection, such as to connect to an airline entertainment, you lose your active noise canceling. The power has to be off to get sound via wire. This is the opposite of my QC15 (not wireless) headphones – the power has to be on for you to get sound.

Versatile Performance at a Great Price: A Comprehensive Review of My Go-To Headset

Overall, this headset is fantastic. The sound quality and noise cancellation are stellar, and it boasts a decent battery life. However, it’s worth noting that if you forget to turn it off, it tends to stay on, lacking an auto shut-off feature, possibly due to the noise cancellation. So, remember to turn it off manually. I’ve encountered some connectivity issues, likely stemming from my habit of keeping it connected to four devices, possibly causing priority conflicts. Despite these minor quirks, it has proven to be an excellent investment given the price I paid. It has become my go-to headset for a variety of purposes, including meetings, music, noise cancellation, and gaming.

    Truly noise canceling

I love these and am VERY satisfied with my purchase. I work in a busy LOUD office with about 7 other people and noise can get out of control. I have used these for a week now and I’m able to focus no problem and COMPLETELY block out the sound if I am listening to music. Even without the music, the sound is almost completely blocked out which allows me to concentrate fully and pretend I’m alone. These are a must-have for a busy office or travel with other voice noises. Now I don’t know about engines etc, but people’s voices, even next to you, are significantly muffled to the point where you can focus. And of course, it’s BOSE so the sound quality is phenomenal. I don’t turn them up very loudly and can hear the music in multi-dimension. Great for classical music and other sounds. I am extremely happy with this purchase and will buy BOSE brand again in the future. You get what you pay for so it’s worth the money!

    Great Noise Cancellation

I bought these headphones because I am scared of flying and the noises on the plane makes it worse. I have been traveling a lot more lately so decided to try noise cancelling headphones. These worked WONDERS! To test them out, I stood directly under my whole house fan with them on and the music playing at a reasonable level. I could hardly hear the fan (and that thing is loud!). On the plane rides, they shut out the noise of the plane which is so helpful for me. They are also comfortable. I wore them on my last flight which was 6 hours and they never once bothered me. Buy these!

Headband padding was too firm, fantastic noise cancellation though

Sound quality and noise cancellation is fantastic. I bought these because I love my husband’s (incredibly comfortable) older Bose headphones and wanted my own wireless version for travel. What I do not like about these New Bose QuietComfort headphones is that the padding on the headband is a bit too firm to be comfortable on the top of my head. I guess I need a lot more squish, because I got tired of wearing these after about an hour. The multipoint connection also worked a bit differently than I expected. Bose support indicates that it automatically switches, but I had to select a different output source on my laptop for it to ‘release’ hold on the connection and allow me to hear sound from my phone instead. Not a deal-breaker, but worth knowing.

Great for Music. Not so Great for Videos & Books

I bought this headset mainly for the gym. It works perfectly for drowning out all the exterior noise which was driving me crazy before. I got tired of hearing people’s loud conversations and others slamming their weights down. So this gets rid of all of that, which I absolutely love! I can be in my own quiet little world and concentrate on my workout without interruption. On the downside, I listen to a lot of videos on YouTube, and I listen to my Bible app daily as well. I can’t seem to turn up the volume loud enough to hear the words clearly. The words are hard to hear, which is extremely frustrating as this was the other main reason for my purchase. So most of the time when I am at the gym, I can only listen to music, which is a real bummer. If anyone knows of a way to increase the volume for this, please let me know.

    Well, here’s the deal……..

These are great for someone who is… moving away from their small town to New York City and wants to pretend that they’re in a movie made in the 2000s, someone who is coding, or someone working on something in finance drinking oak milk listening to Maggie Rogers.BUT,If you are someone who truly values and wants sound quality, durability, and products that work fresh out of the box. Also, if you don’t want to not have to download an app and have Bluetooth connectivity issues, this ain’t the product for you.

Dont even hesitate! Just click “Place Order.”Don’t hesitate, just click “Place Order”! You won’t be disappointed. After extensive research and reading multiple reviews, I confidently chose these headphones. As a lifelong BOSE fan, I have witnessed their consistent pursuit of audio excellence. These headphones boast exceptional noise-canceling capabilities, and even after hours of wear, I found them incredibly comfortable. They fit perfectly, accommodating both my slightly larger ears and my wife’s smaller features without any complaints. Now, let’s talk about the sound. It’s truly epic! Once you put them on, you’re instantly transported into the heart of your chosen media. I highly recommend listening to the demo videos on YouTube; they showcase the headphones’ incredible range and leave you with spine-chilling sensations. Additionally, I’ve found them to be perfect for conference talks and meetings – truly top-notch performance. These headphones are worth every penny, If you’re not a BOSE fan, You will Be!

Wonderful sound reproduction and amazing ANC

I love these headphones, I have an old pair of Bose and really appreciate them, they are cable only though. The only real issue I had with them was trying to register them, I couldn’t find the serial number, it’s contained in the firmware, I got crazy information from Bose, remove the inner cover to see the label (basically trash them to find the #) I was irritated with that. The software could be a better, offering more options but it seems to work just fine with practice.I tried more than once to run the update, but each time the service was down, so better connectivity is needed from Bose.

    Prefer Sony XM4

I quite liked these, especially the color. I didn’t spend too much time being picky about the audio as I bought the for ANC. Previously I had borrowed my boyfriends XM4s for a while before I finally decided to get my own headphones on black friday. Ended up returning these because the ANC wasn’t as good and they also felt cheap and plastic compared to the XM4s. I thought I was going to break them easily as I work a pretty dirty job. If I didn’t experience sonys headphones first I probably would have kept this one but sadly it didn’t measure up.

    Not as good as expected

After reading multiple reviews and tests on you tube, I decided to pull the trigger choosing these over Sony XM4 or 5. My reasoning was that Bose had always offered a superior sound to my ear in real life regardless of what mixed reviews said. The reviews where mixed, noting the same strong points and poor points. The absolute most important thing I wanted in my purchase was sound quality. I was willing to sacrifice the best noise cancelling for just good, and 24 hours of battery life to about 12 (still happy with this). Noise cancelling is noticeably slightly worse than the Sony XM2s that I replaced, although quite close. Sound quality, voice clarity, average bass tones, overall clarity, was not as good as the Sony headphones that I had had for years. The EQ adjustments were new and slightly helpful in getting the tones that I wanted to pop, but … not as good as out of the box sound from my last headphones.I would not purchase these headphones again. It is hard to find something in this price point, the over the ear headphones are either higher in price or lower in price and not as good. I will however continue to consider Bose products in my future purchases as this is the first ever poor experience I have had with them.

Exactly what I expect for price

Battery life seems to be pretty good.Usually have them on to listen to music while 3d printer is going on in the background and hear basically nothing with low volume levels. Ear pads are comfortable for prolonged wear. Let me set an additional quiet mode in app (has quiet and active I think it’s called) but see no point. Either want sound cancel or don’t. Don’t see a point in setting a specific amount of background noise it lets in.Color is beautiful.
