    For all runners.

This is by far the best purchase I have made as a runner.I had been using my Apple Watch 6 for tracking my running but after many issues with it, I decided to get the Coros Pace 3.The battery life is truly amazing. It has great statistics. It’s easy to use.

Serious connection issues- update this is VPN issue

When I try to use the app I get “failed to connect to server” errors nearly 100% of the time. Also not able to connect to 3rd party apps. Almost unusable as it is, unless they fix this. I searched online and see they had these errors before. I guess they keep their systems below the necessary capacity to support all the users.VPN issue – connection errors are do to using a VPN. I don’t understand why COROS should care if I use a VPN.

    Best Sub-$250 Watch

I’ve had around a dozen different sports and smartwatches over the years. Three of them were Coros watches. For the price you pay – the features are far and above worth more than their price point. The training features, barometer, reliable heart rate and above par battery life make this (or any current watch from Coros) worth a serious look. For those of you that have used other brand running watches, I suggest giving Coros a try.

    Excellent fitness watch

I ditched my Apple Watch for this. The battery life is so long, the training data is so great, and it does a few smart things but isn’t trying to be a phone on your wrist. I’m so happy with tracking my workouts and sleep on it.

Very good watch – running training and races

I prefer to run without a phone. This watch is exactly what I was looking for to support that. Great battery life, size (smallish – what I wanted), weight, readability, functionality, price, the app. Recently completed Ragnar replay road race with this watch; having the navigation option was very useful, just in case you miss one of the markers. No complaints – some very minor usability quirks that are not worth mentioning.

An outstanding product that surpassed all my expectations

I’m so happy with this product. It has all the functions I need for sports and smart watch. Amazing battery life, fast localization, accurate heart rate sensor. It’s so far the best sports watch I’ve used. The mobile app may have some rooms for improvement but the watch itself is great. I’m looking forward to exploring other products under this brand.

    Great sports watch

I wanted to give myself some time before leaving a review for this. I was coming from an Apple Watch SE that I did like but the battery for the Apple Watch just wasn’t doing it for me. Finding this watch for its price is amazing all the health features and the app are very well thought out and nice looking. I don’t miss the Apple Watch at all but the main reason for that would be that I didn’t use the Apple Watch for any of the smart features. If your someone who wants all of those features you probably won’t wanna make that switch but if your buying the watch to track runs and hikes and value battery life this is a great watch to get!

Excellent heart rate monitor – but needs a pdf users manual

I wanted a watch that would give accurate heart rate measurements without a chest strap, along with a good GPS, so I wouldn’t have to bring my phone on runs. I am very impressed by the heart rate measurements from this watch, when it makes the measurements just from the wrist and no chest strap. I compared the readings with simultaneous readings from a chest strap, which I know is very accurate. The readings from the watch were within 1-2 BPM of those from the chest strap over a range from 60 to 173 BPM. I have not tested the accuracy of the GPS but from many reviews, it is said to be very good. The battery life is excellent. My one complaint is that there is no pdf version of a users manual, and there are so many menus and functions it is not easy to learn the system. The online help is not very easy to navigate either, and as of Nov 6 2023, there were no instructions specific to the Pace 3 on the website.

    Great watch

For running it’s a great watch…does all the stats you need. There is a slight delay in pace/heart rate of about ten seconds. Also, it cannot keep stats on shoe milage.

Enjoy Squinting at Your Stats? Have I got the watch for you…

Full disclosure: I’m 50 years old and my near-sight has degraded a bit. Someone with 20/20 vision or a willingness to wear reading glasses while training for their next race might be fine. Even so…This is simply the worst display I’ve ever encountered on a watch (smart or otherwise). Its worthless for tracking stats in real-time. My ancient Pebble watch was clearer with a more refined display. Every watch or fitness tracker I’ve purchased has allowed me to tweak display settings for brightness (and occasionally font size too – thanks 2017 Gear Sport!). This is not possible in the Pace 3 – you cannot change any settings for the display other than the hours when the backlight will come on via wrist flick. Don’t believe the stock photos of the display. Its fuzzy at best even when I’m wearing my reading glasses (which are a pretty mild correction). Ironically, the Pace 3 did help me achieve a personal record: quickest decision to return a purchase. For what its worth I worked with this watch in a well-lit interior room. Reading this in bright sunlight or in shade during a trail run is probably impossible.I knew that going in the Pace 3 didn’t have an AMOLED display. Other watches–heck other electronics–produce very nice and clear displays without using AMOLED. Its great Coros is striving to offer a weeks-long battery life but I’d happily trade-off time for clarity. Every other manufacturer allows its users to make this decision and I’m clueless as to why Coros does not. Piling on the problems, the wrist flick needed to activate the backlight is substantial. If you are training on a bike you’ll risk crashing whereas a runner will merely be frustrated and throw off their pace.I can’t speak to the accuracy of GPS but the HR seemed on-point for the brief time I wore it/tested it (sitting; not running). The watch is plastic but doesn’t feel like a toy (it does feel like a Timex but that’s ok; its not trying to pass itself off as a style watch). The app seemed fine for the brief amount of time I spent with it. The setup on my iPhone went quite smoothly.I know I’ve crossed into the shouty “get off my lawn you meddling kids” old guy schtick but the last time I looked around a race (Boston’s Run to Remember) it was chock-full with people in their 40s and above. At every race I’ve been to (5k to marathon) a substantial portion of runners are 40+ when near-vision problems start cropping up. I’m not sure what Coros is thinking building a watch that a large segment of runners can’t use. They really should ask runners who are older (or have so-so near vision) to test these watches. If you are reading this thinking “cranky old guy can’t see… waah… I’ve got great vision I’m gonna buy this” then by all means, plunk down the money. Its painfully obvious Coros cut A LOT of corners to keep the price low and battery life high. At the very least, check out this watch in person before making a purchase.

Can not read screen and no function to brighten

On the app it shows very vivid watch faces but on actual watch they are muted and dull. It was very difficult to read indoors, so it was going to be unreadable outside. It was easy to setup. We returned the watch for a refund.

    Poorly Designed

It is not a user-friendly watch and it’s hard to read the time while running, cycling, or swimming because the numbers are so small. The time is displayed on the lower section of the watch face in white with a black background and you need a magnifying glass to see it.

GPS does not work; terrible customer service

This watch did not connect to GPS properly, would lose me on my runs, miscalculate my mileage and pace. Coros customer service was not thorough and suggested that I was wearing the watch wrong which would have nothing to do with connectivity issues. Do not buy this watch. I had it for about 6 weeks and it gave me nothing but grief.

I wash shocked at how BAD the display is! Barely readable except for bright sunlight

I was shocked at how bad the display is. It is barely readable except for bright sunlight and the backlight is very weak. I have several MIP display watches (Garmin, Amazfit) and this was MUCH WORST than any.

    First running watch

This is my first running watch and honestly there is a steep learning curve. It works okay for measuring pace and distance, but leaves a fair amount to be desired. Not having experience with other watches I have no idea if other ones are any better. Here are my complaints: (1) instructions are minimal. There is no paper or pdf manual. There is a website you can poke around and short little videos on specific things it can do (no broad orientation). (2) I got the nylon strap because it is a little lighter. This was a mistake. After two and a half weeks, it smells. Apparently you are supposed to wash it and let it air dry daily. You are not supposed to wash it wish soap or detergent as these can damage the anti-bacterial properties. I’m probably going to buy an off-brand silicone band since the cores one is approximately 10x as expensive. (3) too much clutter. Do I care my altitude? Not really, unless I just ran hills in which case I may be curious how much I climbed. But there it is, on the watch face and you can’t do anything about it. (Or at least I don’t know how to.) The altitude is apparently determined by air pressure when you are not in running mode, which doesn’t work so it fluctuates wildly and tells you nothing. (4) Yes you have a few options for layout of the watch face but they are all kind of stupid and inefficient and there are only like four of them. How about a layout that is streamlined and not gaudy? It’s a convention for time to be three digits in the am four in the pm with a colon between the hour and minutes. How about that being an option? (5) Navigation is confusing. I still can’t reliably find the stopwatch. I know it is in there somewhere, but who knows where. (6) when you would like to run, it makes you stand still for an indeterminate amount of time while it gets the GPS signal and your heart rate. Is this really necessary? When I want to start running, the last thing I want to do is stand still (in the cold this time of year) looking at my watch waiting for it to allow me to start. (7) scheduling runs is needlessly confusing. I am training for a marathon, so I know what I intend to run every day. I tried to schedule this in, it didn’t understand this and would beep randomly as I ran, so now I don’t bother. (8) loading route is needlessly complicated. The routes of many of my runs are on mapmyrun or strava – why can’t I just click on them and add them to the watch? (9) You unlock the screen by pushing down the wheel for three seconds. Apparently you used to have to turn the wheel and people complained about that. This is certainly easy when you want to go for a run. The problem is it also unlocks if I put my hand in my jeans pocket. and the wheel is pressed against top of my pocket. (10) As mentioned before I am doing a marathon training plan and I know what I would like to run every day. I also have a recommended speedwork plan. It would be awesome if I could easily upload the spadework plan to the watch and it could guide me through the speedwork, since it is a little complicated for a beginner. There might be some way to do this, but it isn’t easy or intuitive. (11) screen visibility is fine during the day, the problem I have is when light is low. It quite sensibly is not very bright by default – this is good for the battery presumably and also makes it less ugly. It senses at times that you might want to see the screen and the screen brightens. The problem is that this does correlate with when I would like to see the screen. And I can’t figure out how to get it to do it, so in low light I find myself straining to read it.So those are my gripes. I have no doubt that some of them are solvable if I could figure out how to use the watch properly, but as stated in gripe #1, the instructions are lacking. On the positive side, it has good battery life. I have no complaints about the accuracy of the GPS or pace calculation. It is large but not so terribly large that I feel weird wearing it around generally. It has mostly eliminated any temptation to bring my phone on runs, which is super nice.

    Best Running Watch Ever

I’ve been with COROS since the very beginning of their Pace 2 model release. I have multiple devices and accessories and couldn’t be happier. The technology and the updatable as well as the upgradable features in both the watch and the app are unsurpassed. This is the best running watch platform and app ever, and their prices are unbeatable. They are way above the competition in research, technology, features, and spec’s. I highly recommend them like no other.

The Best, Most Frustrating Fitness Watch Ecosystem Around

I’ve been meaning to dig into this thing after having owned since launch and previously using the Coros Pace2 for the half year prior. The metrics it provides and organization of data is first-rate. Some of it is far more rudimentary than Garmin but that’s often a good thing. Often though I come across glaring holes in the system, problems with training load, problems with HR monitoring (the, watch is great, battery second to none, but the HR monitor is horrible even by standards of most every other wrist-based type, which isn’t great) and problems addressing any of the issues I come across with workarounds… They’re usually not possible. Workouts can’t be edited after the fact. It doesn’t take much to tank a day’s worth of metrics, and in turn an entire week’s worth. And that’s if everything is working properly… It often isn’t (even by admission from Coros). Fixes come slowly and often break something else that was working properly. Just peruse the Coros reddit sub and you’ll find all the issues.Great watch overall, none are perfect, but after the better part fo a year in the eco system I’m almost ready to return to Garmin.

    Too many glitches

Without even getting to test it in the wilderness, this watch had so many issues I had to return it. Light wouldn’t go on, tracking would stop in the middle of a run for no reason, kept buzzing and changing faces every second when a very light long sleeve would brush against the face, etc.Perhaps they rushed this thing out to market too fast with Christmas coming, or they sent a refurb (original order was the wrong color, sending refurbs is common practice for CECs Apple included). Either way it’s a bad start and would need a lot of testing to feel confident in the wilderness. It’s so light and plastic it almost feels fake.

Really fell in love the more I used it

I went from a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 to the Pace 3 at a friend’s recommendation. I was getting more into running and finding ways to improve my running as I prepared for my first half marathon. At first, I was starting to regret the purchase and missed all the “smart watch” features on the Galaxy watch. However, as time went on, I was blown away with the level of detail and accuracy after each run. I can genuinely say that this watched helped me finish my first half marathon at 1:49:44.Just by looking at the data and details presented after each run, I was able to understand how to run effectively, especially as it relates to heart rate zones, tempo runs, base aerobic workouts, etc.. I would NOT be getting this information on my Galaxy watch. Also, this watch offers HRV tracking. I was curious on the accuracy of this, so I compared it to my Oura ring, which is one of the most accurate in the dept. I have to say, I was impressed that it always seems to be within +/- 4 of the Oura ring, so not bad in my book (especially considering the price).

    Nice watch

My wife has had a Garmin 920XT for several years. She wanted a new watch and we went down the rabbit hole of shopping for one. After reading a bunch of reviews and watching more YouTube videos than I can remember, We decided on the Choros Pace 3.It was an easy transition from the Garmin. The app and the watch interface are intuitive. The battery life is excellent. My wife uses it for running three days per week and gets three weeks or more on a charge. By comparison, I use a Garmin 735XT and only get a week on a charge. And she runs more than I do.Overall, If I didn’t just get my 735XT a year ago, I would replace it with the Choros Pace 3. When It comes time to replace the Garmin, if I am still doing triathlons (I am 61 years old), I will get a Choros Pace.

    Honest running review.

I’ve been running for years and have never used anything to track my runs besides the time of my basic $12 Casio Watch and “Omni Speed Calculator” (which is free) also a journal of my daily mileage, weather, time, and how i was feeling during the run; did i run across any unusual aches & pains? Things like that. If you’re new to running and think this will make you a better runner, stop now. Run daily for 6 months and actually listen to your body without the damn earphones and It’ll tell you everything you need to know. Get yourself a good pair of shoes, a basic watch that has a timer, and a running/workout journal to track progress. Paying $200+ for a watch that tracks your HR and such just sounds silly. Use the money for a better pair of running shoes (i prefer Hoka). I’m just too old school for all these gadgets & gizmos I guess. All that aside it does what you’d expect it to for a $200+ watch so I’ll give it 5 stars. Extremely light but pretty sure it’ll break if you work with your hands a lot, hence is why it’s a “running watch”. If you’ve been running daily for over 6 months or more and still feel the need to have an expensive gizmo on your wrist then by all means get this watch and you’ll realize the same thing I did; You don’t need it.

    So far so good

It does far more than I’m interested in, but the menus are easily customizable to filter down to what I want. Running, biking and lap swimming distance have been very accurate. The battery seems very good, but 30 days is probably not realistic – more like 10 days if you work out daily. The rotating bezel selector knob seems a bit sensitive and I’ve inadvertently changed the selection as I push the button. A tighter or more tactile movement would be an improvement. The Coros app is very good and it links easily to Strava and a few other workout apps. Overall, I like it and may even benefit from some of the data I’ve previously not had such as recovery status, resting heart rate and others.

    Love! Love! Love! ❤️

Received this as a Christmas gift from the hubby. Made the switch from Garmin to Coros, and I have zero regrets. I love this watch. I didn’t know how I would like the velcro wristband and surprisingly it fits better than my other watches with a silicone band. I also love all the features it has and how easy it is to use. Another plus, this is also a fraction of the cost of what you would pay for a Garmin watch.

    Best gps watch

I’m usually a Garmin girl, but decided to try this out. The gps signal is aqcuired within seconds even if I’m in the middle of a forest. The app is so nice to use and see details about my health, including stress and sleep. After my runs, I have it so it automatically uploads to Strava. So easy. Love love love it.

    Light and practical

I use it mainly for tracking steps, running, and heart rates. The display color is retro LCD like a Casio watches of the 80s. There are many interesting looking watch faces.I don’t love the band that came with it. Fortunately, Amazon sells many 22mm quick release bands that works with this watch. It has functionality of receiving notifications fro iPhone. However, unlike apple watch, it does not lock the screen when you take it off. So if you lose it, then people can see all your messages. The work around is to disable notifications from sensitive apps.I also have an older Apple Watch. I like Pace 3 because it’s circular, light, seemingly infinite battery life, cute retro watch faces, and extremely good price.

    Super nice watch

It is a nice watch! It has all the hardware a $500 Garmin watch would have! Super comfy plus it has a nice design compared to the Garmin watches. Tons of “faces” to change. And super light weighted.

    Lovely running watch.

This watch has been a great addition to my running routine. I’m training for a marathon and decided I should start tracking workouts with more precision. This watch gets it done.It is extremely customizable. You can select a variety of faces, and colors. Even create your own. You can customize up to 5 screens of workout data to cycle through during training. And these screens can be further broken down from 1-5 metrics per screen. It’s incredibly light weight and durable. The battery life is very impressive, I track 5-6 activities a week with it. I’ve had the watch for 3 weeks now and have only charged it twice. One was the initial charge.Durability again cannot be overstated. I am a welder so I have a physically demanding dirty job. I wear this daily, no scratches or gouges to be found. I did get a little bit of discoloration on the body of the watch but this is not physical damage to the case rather some product from work that stuck to it.You can upload a variety of workouts and link it to TrainingPeaks and add custom training plans to the watch as well which is cool.It syncs incredibly quickly, never had any issues. The gps is accurate it seems very reliable. I do get some drift here and there but nothing too major. That said there are some things I dislike, the menu is not very intuitive. Once I learned it I’m able to navigate through the menus easier but that’s not too big of a deal. The charging port is interesting, you really have to snap the plug in to charge it.The band it comes with fits me but I can barely get my hand through, I wish the material were ever so slightly stretchier, however this is probably contributing the the great durability for such a lightweight device. The music storage is a joke, you have to plug it into a computer and manually upload mp3 files to the watch so I have not tried to use it and never will.Lastly there is a metronome feature, which I like to have to hit specific cadences, however it beeps very quietly and the vibrations can hardly be felt. I focus more on listening than actually on my cadence so I doubt I’ll use that function too often.$229 for the standard and $249 for the special edition. This feels like an incredible bargain. I would buy it again. If you’re just starting out in running or looking for something to upgrade from a Fitbit I would highly recommend the pace 3. If you run more trails and unfamiliar routes, I would go with the Apex 2 because it’s navigation and maps are more detailed.

    Easy to Use, Extremely Reliable

Long story short: I am really really happy with this product. A few things I’d change. –I am running my first ever half marathon this coming April. I have about 5-6 years experience with running but have never done more to track my runs than use my stopwatch on the timer app and Google Maps, both on my phone. Prior to my training for the half, I knew I needed something more reliable, more responsible, and more accurate than just my phone. I did my research and talked to my friends and family who are runners about the type of exercise watch I should buy that is accurate and benefits my training and how to change and help myself. Of course I saw Garmin, Apple, Samsung, and other massively known brands, but I was reading similar negative things about each of them. Their accuracy. That is when I landed on the Coros Pace 3.Everything you need to know about your running is here. Using the watch, choose what workout you are doing, and that is it. The watch does everything for you. Once you have completed the workout, go to the app. Now is when the real magic happens. It shows you your times (Activity Time, Avg. Pace, Avg. Effort Pace, Best Mile, Avg. Heart Rate, Calories, Elev. Gain, Running Performance, Training Load) in the first section. This is the best way to quickly understand your ultimate time and how much you are pushing yourself. This watch will tell you how a run impacts your Aerboic TE (how your body improves physically while training). I will say, some of the verbiage used is a little above my knowledge. So, it may take some time to research each section so that you know what each means and how you can work from it and continue to progress. It tells you your Cadence, Running Power, Stride Length, and more. When you’re not running, and want to use it as a typical watch, there are hundreds of watch faces to choose from. It took me about 2 weeks of playing around with different ones to find the one that I loved, which I have now been using for the last 4 months. On the face it tells you time, BPM, calories burned, activity time, steps, elevation, date (mm/dd/year), and battery life.Battery Life: IT IS INSANE!! On 2%, it takes about 40-50 minutes to charge to 100%. On 100%, using it for a workout 4 times/week, the battery lasts for up to 10 days. When not working out during the week, it can last up to 2 weeks. It is crazy. Probably one of the best things I like about the watch.WHAT I WOULD CHANGE:The interface. The notifications I get from my phone pop up on my watch and the text seems like what I would get on my Blackberry in 2010. It gets the job done, but the notification text could use a change.Screen. It is a little dim at times. You can not change the brightness of the watch. When in a dark area, it will go black, but if you’re in a dim-light area, it will still be on, but very hard to see. You have to click one of the buttons to unlock it and is then better to see. That’s just me.Music. You cannot use Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, or Soundcloud on your watch. You have to download an MP3 of a song and put it on the file when plugged into your computer. It is a pain, but I figured out how to do it and stick to 3 1-hr playlists each time. That’s it.I will say the accuracy of the BPM, Stress Levels, Steps, and Calories Burned is immaculate. I have tested this while using certified machinery to track these levels, and the watch has been 1-2 points around what the test is showing. This has been a lot, but I hope it helps. Overall it is very accurate, benefits me and what I was looking for in a watch. The pros DEFINITELY outweigh the cons.

    Works great

I’ve been a fitbit and Apple Watch user for MANY years. The fitbit just didn’t work for me for features I wanted as I had started to do a lot of biking and running and I wasn’t able to easily see the features I wanted at a glance. After a bunch of research, I found this watch to be highly accurate, clear to see in daylight and indoors in moderate lighting. I had a 10k coming up…. my first and the Pace 3 wasn’t out yet and wasn’t going to arrive in time, so I decided to try the Pace 2. The user interface is nearly identical to the Pace 2 as I found out later. But the Pace 2 screen is not nearly as easy to read under low light conditions. It’s not quality, but rather a different screen tech that just doesn’t work great in daylight as much as I wanted. Also, when I ran through tall building areas, it completely lost my pace. It would show a pace many minutes different than what I felt I was running at. The Pace 3 doesn’t have this much of a problem as it uses multiple GPS channels to compensate. I returned the Pace 2 and went with the Pace 3. Here are my pro’s and cons about this watch.Pro’s1) Accurate heart rate better than fitbit, but not as good as Apple watch. (using polar H10 chest strap) as comparison2) GPS routes work well on run and bike. Works much better than Pace 2.3) The price can’t be ignored for what you get compared to Garmin, Polar, Fitbit, Polar. It’s too good a price.4) Love the nylon strap. I work on a laptop all day and the silicon strap buckle part digs into my wrist for nearly any watch and makes me constantly taking it off in serious work moments. The Apple watch and this nylon straps don’t have that problem for me. Also the strap is really comfortable.5) Some say the watch lightness makes it feel cheap. I can see how that would be felt. But after multiple hits on the bars and hard bumps on the site of weight machines only to see the watch with no scratches or bumps, I don’t think you’ll see a problem with the sturdiness like I have. also, the plastic manufacturing makes the watch feel unusually light for a sports watch. Love that.6) Customizable screens to show heart rate, pace, total time, and other stuff for more or less of what you want to see for each sport. For biking I like to see elevation and time and heart rate. For running, heart rate, pace and total time are the keys for me and choosing more stats or less makes the numbers bigger or smaller depending on what you want to fit. Perfect for me and a feature competitive with other sports watches of much higher price points. Fitbit and Apple just suck at this customizable optionality.7) The phone app is really well done to show recovery, heart rate, work out details and syncs well with the watch.8) Allows for multiple bluetooth connections. I use a polar h10 chest strap heart rate monitor and the watch connects well and will therefore have the Polar H10 heart rate override the heart rate. I use the Polar over the Coros heart rate just because I want the most accurate heart rate. No watch in the industry can compete with the chest strap. For casual runs or bike rides, I depend solely on the Coros alone. For high intensity instant reaction.. I’m just picky and prefer the best. Having said that, I would put the Coros at a 9 out of 10 on accuracy. So I’m not overlooking the Coros at all for the heart rate reliability on accuracy.9) The battery life is hella good. 1 week to 1 1/2 weeks with no need to charge is great. Compare that to the Apple watch 1 1/2 – 2 day need to recharge.Con1) the music part as advertised is bologne. You have to literally copy the MP3’s to the watch like it’s USB stick. No spotify, apple music or etc connection capability at all.2) Temperature for the watch is only for swimming. I does not record body temperature. So you’ll only get external water temp for the feature.3) No HRV. Have to get the next tier Coros watch for that. I never used it.. but it does bug me a bit not to have it. And the Coros App has the feature showing on the phone as a blank section which always nags me a bit that I don’t have that data. There is a clear statement that HRV is available with the watch.4) the app has this running fitness section that shows predicted time your current performance would forecast for 5k to marathon pacing. But it only updates it with outdoor running and no treadmill running. That’s a bummer.Overall, this watch doesn’t have glaring cons. If I had more money, I would have gone up a level. But truthfully that would have perhaps got me HRV, longer battery life and better screen. But I’m happy with the Pace 3 screen and battery life. So. Unless I have a lot of extra cash or get the better coros as a gift. I’m loving this watch.Honestly, I’m so blown away by sports watches for athletes. I had only known fitbit features and this Coros like Garmin just blows away what I experienced for features in the fitbit lifestyle type watches. Sports watches are worth it for athletes or people doing regular workouts and make serious efforts to track progress.{Dec 10 2023} UpdateStill love the watch. Here are some lessoned learned about the watch though.1) The web browser use has a calendar activity area to pre-plan workouts which initially seemed great. You get reminders and planned forecast of fit level for doing this. But it has some issues in this feature that force me to no longer use it. #1: if you go longer or shorter than planned on a treadmill workout, it won’t recalibrate the mileage or allow you to recalibrate distance. What I mean is it won’t let you manually adjust treadmill distance with what it says onto the watch for minor adjustment. If you do a manual workout, it will let you adjust.2) I enjoy the stickman graphic on the phone app to show me recovery and showing me how recovered I am.3) The battery life continues to amaze me. I like the warnings it gives me when battery is running low.4) The case continues to show it’s resiliance. I’ve banged it so many times and I don’t see a scratch.5) I find the screen easy to read indoor and outdoor at all times of the day. And I require reading glasses. There are 65-70% of the watch faces I can’t use cuz the font is too damn small as I don’t have the glasses. There are so many watch faces to chose from. Love that.6) I use the fabric band and I never take it off in shower, jacuzzi or bath. It dries rather quickly and doesn’t bother me.{Dec 22, 2023 Update}Recent firmware update did the following1) Added HRV which nullifies my comments earlier. Great news.2) Removed the annoying lock symbol smack in the middle of the screen that would show every time you want to look at the time. They moved it out of the way and to the side. Good work Coros.3) Added weather forecast.Still loving the watch.Coros, if you’re reading this. Please add the ability to have the Coros app show live HR on the Coros app so that it can show while I have the Coros app running front and center on my phone while on the treadmlll. Fitbit, Polar, Garmin all do that.. why not yours? Also, add the ability to control how long the watch fades to lower brightness after first glancing the watch. For those of us that are older that need reading glasses… the fonts are just too small on 85% of the watchface options.

I dont miss my apple watch

This was is really comfortable. I also love how light it is. The battery life is soooo nice. Its so understated how much that improves the user experience these days. Its great value and it has so many options for fitness and not only provides you with data but it does do in a focused and contextual way so you can make changes or improvements to your goals. The screen is soo easy to see during the day and almost looks like a physical display in daylight.Easy to connect with my phone and doesnt lose connection .I have fairly smaller writs but it looks great and could fit bigger wrist well too.

    Excellent Watch for runners

I have historically been an Apple watch guy through and through. So used to the cycle of a watch not making it through full marathon training long runs. Once my Apple Watch 7 battery started dying on me I decided to look elsewhere. Originally I thought Garmin, but doing research decided on Coros and I COULD NOT be HAPPIER!I absolutely love the app interface. As a very active runner who trains for races often, I love the data provided by coros. Some of my favorite features:- Ability to link my Runna training plan with the Coros watch and it will send me prompts to guide me through the workout. This is such a helpful feature for helping me stay organized! I have included a photo of the workout calendar.- The sleep data is very helpful as well. Also due to the significant battery life on the Coros Pace 3, you can actually wear the watch overnight and not need to worry about charging it for your early morning workout.- The amounts of data provided: You get data ranging from running fitness, to recovery recommendations, sleep, HRV, V02 max. If you like to geek out ( like I do, I highly recommend this watch for you.)- A downside to this watch is that it struggles on the treadmill ( honestly what watch doesn’t?). That being said I love the feature where they allow you to adjust your mileage, this way you can just punch in the mileage that shows up on the treadmill. All in all, I will say. BUY this watch, especially at the price point… you cannot beat the Coros Pace 3!

Good value, good battery and enough to use

It’s so light that I barely feel it in my hand. I like the design even though the screen isn’t that great. I understand, everything has been customized to extend battery life. The Coros Pace 3 has touch but it has a slight lag. At first, I thought it was for runners but that’s not true, cardio people like me still find it okay. I was hesitant to choose between Pace 3 and Garmin Vivoactive 5, but the design of Pace 3 beat the other. I hardly listen to music while working out so it’s easy to ignore the Garmin. Personally, I like Pace 3 more than Apex 2.

    Good tracker, awful app

I liked that this watch was accurate ,light and comfortable. It has a lot of choices for faces and seem well built. The app downloaded and sync easily with the watch. The problems is the face seems dull and unreadable with most of the faces, unless you view in direct sunlight. I tried to find an adjustment to increase the luminosity but I couldn’t find one. The app is not as user friendly as the other apps I’ve had before; like Withings and Huawei and Apple. It is uninspiring and does not give updated real time information when paired with watch. These issues made the watch almost unusable while working out. The readings were accurate when compared to some of the gym equipment results.

Fantastic for the price. But not perfect.

I bought this to replace a Fitbit charge 5 that has become a buggy mess. And I’d rather not deal with Google anymore. This watch is great. Although they need to work out the bugs if they want me to recommend it to people. I’ll explain later. This watch has many features but it is clearly focused on running and maybe cycling. It doesn’t have badges for anything else. So if you didn’t buy it for that, don’t expect any badges. It’s step and heart rate detection are top notch. But only while you’re doing an activity. Once your not actively doing something. It becomes spotty at best. Some of the bugs that I mentioned. The heart rate detection is completely unreliable at all other times. It tries to tell me that I’m running at 40 beats, my heart never goes that slow. And step detection is slow to respond. I find that it misses thousands of steps throughout the day. Anything can confuse it. If you look at it while you’re walking, it will completely stop counting.I also ended up disabling the touch screen. It’s fine but the interface was clearly designed for the digital crown. The only time I find it useful is when I’m quickly hiking a trail. The crown becomes cumbersome to use and it’s just easier to swipe between screens.Another bug is the sleep tracking. On a normal day it’s fairly close. Although it doesn’t know that I’m awake until I stand up. If I stay in bed and say grab my Nintendo Switch. It won’t know that I’m up until an hour later when I actually get out of bed. It also doesn’t detect any sleep that happens before Midnight. I don’t typically go to bed before 2am. So it usually isn’t a problem. But on the weekends, I’m random. I fell asleep at 7pm one day and it recorded nothing until 12:30am.Other than that, it’s been a solid watch. It can set plenty of alarms. The timer function remembers several times. There are many watch faces to choose from. Although most of them look like they were designed by programmers and children.I’m not sure what is going on with it’s storm warning system. Don’t rely on it. It will warn you when nothing is happening. And remain silent for actual storms. The elevation feature is also inconsistent. But it will give you a general picture. The battery life is fantastic as well. Although, I’m fairly certain that is the focus of the device. At least when your not being active. If you can afford to spend more, I would. But if you are looking for a cheap watch with good battery life that does most things well. This will do the job.

    Excellent Watch, but size matters!

I really love this product and would have given it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the size.It is not described as a men’s, women’s , or even unisex watch that I know of. I am a man who loves big, chunky, masculine watches and this watch is none of those. So why did I buy it? I am a long time Garmin Fenix user. My Fenix display was fading, accuracy was degrading, and I didn’t want to pay the high price for another Garmin. In other words I was being cheap. The Pace 3 was recommended in Men’s Health magazine, the price was right, so I bought one.Right out of the box I knew it was a little too dainty. Thinking I was just having a hard time transitioning from my big ass Fenix, I gave it a try.Set up was a breeze. The app is user friendly and I love the tools. I have been especially iterested in the sleep, HRV, and stress monitoring. The watch is accurate and easy to use. I love the touch screen, menu navigation, smart features, and really like the built in music storage. The only cons for me are the small size and the subsequent small display fonts. It barely fits my wrist, which makes it look a bit effeminate, and it is so lightweight that I don’t feel connected to my gear. I am almost 50 and the small fonts forced me to wear my reading glasses during my workout. My amazing wife bought me the Vertix 2 for Valentine’s day and I love it! She actually just wanted my Pace 3 for herself, but who can blame her. You can see in the picture they really could be considered his/hers based on the size.Summary: Great watch, but if you are a manly man dish out a few extra bucks for the Vertix.
