I recently used this camcorder at my aunt and uncle’s 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration!!! The quality of the pictures and videos were much better than expected. I like that the device is lightweight and easy to operate. The one thing I would change is the way you scroll through your pictures and video, but I will get used to it over time.Overall, the price for everything included is amazing! I would recommend this camcorder to others who are amateur photographers looking to capture precious moments in life.

Accessory package came with different name brands and wrong SD card
The camcorder itself seemed to work just fine. There was a huge problem though, I bought the package deal that comes with all the accesseories and found the SD card they sent me does not work on this camera. They should have sent me the “micro SD card” I recieved the item just in time for the event I intended it for which it was great but still had to take the time to go and buy the correct SD card. The mini tripod that came with it broke the same night I used it. I plan to take the footage and have it edited and take the clips to give to my daughter as a wedding gift so we’ll see how the actual footage turns out. So for now I will only givre this product a 3.5 stars’

Very Happy
I’m a newbie to photography, but so far very satisfied. I’ve heard from some photo aficionados who kind of look down their noses at this set up, but this has about everything someone at my level needs. So if anyone out there wants to jump into the world of “hobby” photography after using mostly point and shoot technology, I think this is the deal for you.

Not HD video extras are great.
I rated this 3 stars because of the video quality. This a perfect camera for a teen just starting with film. It is easy to use and super light, all the extras are great. The camera video quality is not HD it is more SD than anything, very grainy and choppy maybe it works better as a webcam. Not up to HD standards.

Not good picture quality
Pretty disappointed by the picture quality. I wanted a nicer camera to replace my iPhone 6 (lol), but honestly, this thing looks about as good as it. Not sure if I’m just not doing something right, but this feels like a letdown.It’s easy to use and with the bundle, you get a lot of really cool stuff beyond the camera itself. So, for the value, I’m glad I got the whole package for some stuff that I won’t hope to immediately replace.

Awesome pack
This is a great bundle for someone new to making their own videos. I got it for my daughter and it comes with everything that you need to start your journey to movie making. The camcorder itself works really well. It is very small, it can fit in one hand, it is also very light, I was expecting something bulkier since I am apparently from the stone ages when camcorders were huge. This thing is small, which is good because it means that you can fit everything that you need in the little bag it comes with in this package.

The camera works fine. It’s a decent device
I normally would never rate something so low, but thank Sony for that. Because of my experience with this product I will steer clear of all Sony products in the future. The camera works fine. It’s a decent device. However, we purchased the device specifically with the intent to download video to PC. This device DOES NOT allow that. It says in the description that it does. That would be the case if Sony wasn’t so sucky. But the fact is, their corresponding software for Windows that is supposed to allow you to play your vids on your PC will not download. The error states that it is a problem with the user’s network. Bull S$%&. There are comments going back on Sony’s ‘support’ page from 2015 regarding the difficulty user’s have had with this and their inability to get any support from Sony on solving the issue. I have the same problem. Cannot download any software in order to play my movies, rendering the device useless to me in terms of what I wanted it for. I’m not sure how this issue affects Mac users but I would say if you have Windows, you are taking a gamble by getting this product if you specifically wanted it to be able to download and play on your PC.

great handy cam for the price.
This camera works great,the only negative i can say about it is the fact that there is no manual focus.You use a depth of field focus setting.3 settings ,up close, mid range and infinity.where ever its set ever thing in that range will be in focus.It works ok but true manual focus would be better.I guess for the price you can’t expect to have all the bells and whistles.For the money this is a great product,Sony products are hard to beat.

Good deal
I am a total novice when it comes to video cams..Setting up the camera was a bit tricky..very tiny toggle buttons. Once Everything was set, video taking was a breeze. Very satisfied with the quality of the video and the sound. Very lightweight. The camera (not the bag and accessories) Fits easily in my purse. Lots of accessories with the kit makes it a great starter kit.

Super complete package!
This is a great little camera for the price. It is a. Very good entry level camera. We are most impressed with all the great accessories that came in the package. I honestly don’t know how you could expect any more in an entry level camera kit. Charged the batteries, made our first video and connected to the TV to watch super easy. If you’re looking for a very good basic camera you can’t go wrong with this package.

Very impressed with Sony video camera & equipment
So far I’m very impressed with the camera, batteries, case all cords.Arrived on time, directions and started shooting the next day.Now we are off to Alaska and will use the camera everyday.Size of the camera is great, 9.1 mega pixel, seems to be great for a first video camera, I will let you know when I playback my recordings and when I get home and review everything I recorded on my desktop and start editing w/ i-movie.Very impressed so far.

Fantastic!
I’ve only owned this camera for a few weeks but I needed to upgrade to a better camera for product reviews.I must say that I am overly satisfied with the ease and quality of this camera bundle!Kit has pretty much everything you need to start shooting HIGH quality videos!I did purchase a few more batteries and a couple of extra chargers so I can keep videoing without any hold ups.I also purchased a professional lighting kit which also purchased from Amazon.

Love this video camera. We use this for family home videos since having our son. Zoom is smooth and it is very fast to startup (great for catching special moments). Video is very good quality, even is very low lighting. My only complaint is that there is no way to put a date stamp on the video while recording.

Great Basic Camcorder and Accessories
Great camcorder for average user (i.e. my wife). Got it for her as a Christmas gift and she really enjoys using it as compared to our older Sony mini-DVD camcorder. The technology advance is clear and appreciated by her. Easy to use and set up.The kit from Focus Camera has a good balance of gear for us. The additional batteries and the multi-source charger is great as we often need more power when we travel to another grandson’s sporting event. The disk and wallet for safekeeping are great. Tripods allow for versatile shooting. For our use, this was a great deal and right choice of support items.Camera arrived two days ahead of scheduled delivery date. Great value all around.

I ordered with one day shipping option and package arrives in few hours(very impressive)When i was ordering a handycam i compared many low cost option with different features , in same price i could order any 4k ultra one but in realitythe picture quality and reality of those features are a big doubt . This Sony’s model ,i gave it a shot even it does not say 4k or wifi or night vision etc but here is the reall results . I have shot to test some in and outdoor and vedio or voice recording quality is extremely good and stable , video recording is HD and will give you the reall of of image stability. Also when i connected it with TV to play , the vedio quality is great on TV.Accessories wise , there are tons inside the box , i counted approx 4 batteries where you need only one , travel charger option is there and very good, tripod , micro sd card and card reader , lens clearing gadgets , carrying bag etc.For the price under 300 , I am very much satisfied for the value in return.

I love this camera
I love this camera. It takes awesome video, picks up sound very well, the menu is easy to learn, the zoom is great, and the accessory bundle was very nice. Some past posts said the wrong memory card was sent and they had to purchase the correct one. The correct micro memory card came with my camera. I have no complaints with this camera at all, and I would recommend it to others.

Worth the price
I use it to shoot the halftime shows of the local high school marching band. Both the audio and video performance are great for such a small camera, with no noticeable lag in the auto focus when zooming and panning. Low light performance is OK- but the bright lights at the stadium probably don’t help. Battery life is great, and I’ve yet to use the two extra batteries included in the kit. Although the description included a 64GB SD card, the kit came with a 64 GB Micro-SD- which is what the camera takes. Overall I’m quite satisfied for the price and would buy it again

Great mid-range camera!
I am a P.I and this is a great mid-range camera. Pros: easy to use, starts up quick, very small/discrete especially if you have large hands, removable SD card and dual storage, good picture quality.Cons: No optical tube (have to use screen), SD card doesn’t always go in correctly, no manual focus dedicated buttons.

Laptop doesn’t see the camera
The cable or the camera is bad, the camera isn’t even showing up when I plug it into my laptop It’s not my port because my TV comes up when I plug it in. I guess I’ll order another cable and hope for the best, I can’t afford a more expensive camera, this is the second camera I’ve had this issue with but it was a different brand. I’ll update my rating if anything changes, this is too much work.UPDATE: I bought a new cable and my laptop still did not see the camera, I tried this and my other camera that I had this same issue with, so I’m getting a SD card reader to transfer the files. I really don’t know how good the picture is with this camera, but it’s not a very sturdy feeling piece of equipment. I have another camera i bought a couple years ago, had the same problem, but it’s a much better built camera, so I’ll be using it now and not this Sony. I’ll have to just review my videos on the camera & then load them with the card reader, live and learn.I can’t get my money back and I DO NOT recommend this camera, but I figured out a way around the problem I had, so I’m not going to let the negative experience take up room in my head because the days are long but the years are short.

Overall this camera is just what we were looking for. It’s super light weight and seems to do everything that I need it to do on a day to day basis. So far the battery life has been great, and I’ve yet to use the two extra batteries included in the kit. The only complaint that I have is that the description and picture had a micro SD card that was shown but it was shipped with a regular size card so we had to purchase the correct size that is needed. Other then that, we have enjoyed using our new camera.

Awesome quality, so many batteries!
Video quality is exactly what I was looking for. The only thing that caught me off guard was the amount of extra batteries. I thought this bundle came with only 2 batteries for the camera, and so I thought to order another pack for back ups for when I take a long trip. However, this comes with on battery packaged with the camera, and 2 spares. Dont mod understand, this is not a complaint, so now I have a total of 5 batteries and the life on them is amazing, I still haven’t completely drained the first one.

Nice package deal
Great package. Only issue is that it ships with SDXC card and it should be a micro SD card. Package comes with a lot of extras that you need. The camera works great. It’s light and easy to use.

Great for tackle football filming
Love it! Great for what I needed it for. I film tackle football and it has a great pic quality-I’m sure there’s better out there, but this is great resolution. It’s compact, light weight. The tri pod wasn’t to happy with- but just because I don’t need a little on that clings to something. Nice little bundle for the price.

Do not like viewfinder
Thencamera does a nice job withnvideo but is not as sharp with stills. the biggest problem is the view finder as you cannot see anything in the bright sun

Great camera from a great vendor.
This vendor shipped as promised and the item was delivered on the early day of the shipping estimate. The camera works just fine and getting the extras in one order saved me a bunch of looking around. If I upgrade in the future, it’ll be with a recorder that has a larger viewer though. Great starter movie camcorder.

Great product, great price, excellent accessories.
This camera has been perfect. With all the extras and the price you can’t go wrong. We plan on capturing many many memories of our child’s growth for years to come. Very small and compact, light and easy to take with you anywhere. Camera fits in the palm of our hands.

Fantastic value. The images are great
Fantastic value. The images are great. I dropped it on vacation from waist high onto the sidewalk and thought it would be toast, but it didn’t even leave a mark on the case and it still operates as good as new. Tough little camera!

Disappointed with picture and audio quality
I rated 2 stars because I received everything on time. However, pictures quality is really poor (see attached). Audio is very bad. Recorded from a HD music background, then played it the sound came out terrible. Sound from personal Iphone is way much better. Very disappointed because before purchasing this item I read almost all the comments and what the seller advertised but not happy at all about this item. Will pack up and return.

Amazing deal, pretty good camera-you can’t beat this bundle
This was such a great deal and the camera is perfect for everything we wanted it for! My husband uses it to record his target practicing and we plan on using it on a couple vacations we have planned in the next year, can’t wait to see everything it’s capable of.

but so far I am very pleased with it
I have only been using it for about a week, but so far I am very pleased with it. Still lots to learn but was very happy with the video quality. Bought it to record our son high jumping and the video was clear and looked good even at dusk

Ok, so in the picture it shows a MICRO …
Ok, so in the picture it shows a MICRO SD card, however it comes with a regular size card !!! I have contacted the seller and they are sending me the correct one. I think I will be very happy with the product once I can use it .

surprised it was made of plastic, but it did make it lighter to handle. Probably did not need all the extra stuff but it was cheaper buying all the extra parts than purchasing a few extra pieces I might use, separately.
