Perfect Gift
My husbands first iPad and he never expected a refurb to be this good! No issues? Charger was not a fast charger, but we swapped it out and has charged fast and keeps a charge just like a newer iPad. Definitely worth the price!

Charger
It’s a great refurbished iPad. I had to update it to get it to download any recent applications. The charging brick that was sent with it did not match the cable to the iPad. I actually had to search down a specific break because it won’t charge with all bricks are all cables only specific ones because it’s a bit older.

I was very skeptical to buy after reading other reviews. But when I received it, the tablet looked in new condition, Or like new, I didn’t see any physical damage or issues. The battery desperately needed a charge, it was dead on arrival, no big deal. Charge up and start setting it up. No issues. Very pleased to see it was on newest version of iOS, and had no problem whatsoever in setup or downloading. I had downloaded some previously purchased apps (only downloaded about 10-20 total), and were downloaded by the time I finished browsing through my apps on the App Store haha. I have no complaints. Hoping no issues. I did notice that the setup was not how I expected. Whenever I’ve newly setup other apple devices, it was always done a certain way. But it was almost like it was already signed in. But I had no problem logging in with my Apple ID. Maybe it is just how setup was on those particular devices. I’ve bought preowned before. Not an issue, just a little strange. But no big deal. So happy I purchased. Can’t wait to get the cellular setup

The tablet works fine. No visible scratches, marks but the battery sucks. , or malfunctions. However, the battery does not hold a charge. The battery drains as I charge smit so I have to turn it off so it can charge fully. Also, charging takes a really long time.

This is great for my 8year first time iPad but his battery was at 96% at 5:30pm and it is now 7:54pm and it is at 46%. It’s draining really fast and this is his like 4th day with it.

What I wanted for my Birthday.
So I had never been an Apple user, but I know that I was going to need something that would still keep me in the loop for my career. I was not trying to shell out thousands on a new iPad that I wasn’t sure if I was going to love… and yes I am an Android user to my core. However, this iPad refurbished came like it was brand new. Even with it being a 2017 model it still gets all the updates and now some of my friends can be happy that my messages are blue. Not that I cared in the first place.

I will say considering it said “good condition “ I was kind of expecting it to be falling apart based on other reviews, but it actually is perfect, well almost. It works really well, all of the functions are fine, the button works, there’s super super small dents on one corner but hardly noticeable unless you look for them so I’m not concerned about that. My only issue is that even tho the battery says 100% it’s still dying. So it just needs a battery replacement. I can just get that replaced at an Apple Store for about 99 dollars. Definitely wayyyyy cheaper than a brand new iPad 9th gen from Apple so I’m definitely not complaining, just would’ve been nice to know before the purchase:)

Maybe it’s a lemon but never again
I’ll try to keep it short and to the point…The iPad was bought for my sons birthday. He lives in CO while I reside in OH. I was absolutely pumped to get this to him. However, the excitement was short lived and existed primarily through the purchase itself and while it was in shipment.The thing was fired up and a child account was made. We don’t get to talk too much given the time difference, the hours my job requires, and he’s simply being a kid between being key out from school and bed. It was immediately wrapped up after making his account. From there he was a few weeks out. After playing around with it, he left not too long after. I realized it lagged pretty bad and kept it hoping I could erase and ship it back to him. Unfortunately it was cleared time and time again to no avail.By the time I had enough it was a week past its return window. It reminds me of these off brand pads my mom would buy deeply discounted 15 years ago. They rarely ever worked and sat around for years. This one will do the same and has become an expensive paperweight.If you choose to go this route, I hope your experience is years beyond mine.

My daughter loves her IPad! I haven’t had any problems, it was unlocked when they sent it so it was easy to get a SIM card from AT&T and add internet for her IPad so she can use it anywhere we go! The battery life is good and it came in good condition. I do recommend!

Unknown Cellular Level
I searched through many used iPads on Amazon to find one that had cellular service installed and found the one that, on the surface, was the one for me. I’m 77 y/o and would never spend the money for a new one. Mine is working just fine and has far more memory than I need. It has no SIM card so when I contacted my cellular carrier I learned my iPad is suitable only with 3G networks instead of the 4G and 5G my carrier uses. So FaceTime with my grandkids is off the table.I thought I had made the right choice since the device is from 2018. Nowhere that i know of on the Amazon site was there any indication of the cellular level of my iPad. How is that a 4-year old iPad has such limited cellular use? My wife has a 10 year old iPad that works with our cellular 4G system. I’m very disappointed.

This is perfect for my daughter, she will be 5 next month and the iPad was affordable and in amazing condition. I just switched the sims card to this device from the old one and it started working. I pay for data with AT&T and it works with this iPad great. You can call and text with the iCloud account that you sing in with so that’s a plus as well. Can’t wait to give it to my kid on her birthday!

This iPad work good but I’m running into a bug problem. I can’t update it I can’t log into my iCloud so I can’t actually install things. For the past few days the iPad has been completely unfunctionable it won’t even connect to my WiFi stores WiFi or my hotspot

I’d have given it a happy 10/10 but that the touch screen immediately began to lose sensitivity and while I understand that I paid substantially less for a refurbished unit, but it is fair to add that I still paid a substantial sum for it, being told it was in like new condition. All in all, still satisfied

For the average apple consumer this is honestly a great product and came in good conditions. However it doesnt support certain functions like sidecar or apple pen. Their are third party options to accommodate this but if you do the math it’s actually cheaper to buy a 2021 ipad which is what I ended up doing. Worked out great as a gift but if you dont mind spending 100$ more then that is what I would recommend

I just use my iPad to fly my drones for the most part. There weren’t any scratches on it nor was there anything noticeably wrong while setting it up. I haven’t quite figured it out yet, but imessage gives me an error when I open it so I just disabled or closed it because the window keeps popping up when I open it (no biggie because I’ll never use it anyway). Other than the imessage thing, it’s great so far.

I’ve had the iPad for two days now and mostly everything is great. I was able to get in easy and all the buttons work. The iPad didn’t have any scratches or marks. I looks brand new! The only things are the battery life and the iPad overheats. The iPad takes a long time to charge, but it takes long awhile to die. Nothing really happens when the iPad heats up other than burning my hands. I’d say this is a 8/10. I kinda would recommend.

Why pay top dollar for a brand new Ipad?
I got a late 2017 refurbished Ipad to use for work and on while commuting, in part to keep my business emails separate from my personal phone. Rather than getting another phone, the screen and keyboard are so much more user friendly than an Iphone to write emails and see attachments with, it makes a world of difference. The price is a fraction of a new one and I don’t really believe that even a 2017 model lacks sufficient technology (as a matter of fact it has cellular data which is necessary to use when you are not connected to Wi-Fi) for my needs. If you have a MacBook and Iphone but want something in the middle that enables you to work on the go or from home and read articles that have pictures, etc. this is a very good choice. I use it every day for between 1-2 hours and only need to charge it about once a week. It works well if you are hooked up with a windows system at work too, and organizes your emails in the Apple way by subject, which to me is far better than Windows. I’m really happy with this product and it gives me a jump on my day.

Original location embedded in ipad
Certainly you can delete the original location from an iPad. Every time I use my iPad to open my online accounts, I get a pop up telling me “someone from Colorado is trying to access your account”. It’s very annoying at first blush, but becomes very troublesome after a period of time.
