A SLIM ALL IN ONE PC THAT HAS IPS DISPLAY

Great all in one pc from Acer. 21 inch 1080p IPS display, 512GB SSD drive, 8GB DDR Ram, Intel Core i3 and a stable stand. Very thin monitor on top but with all the hardware in the bottom it’s still very thin. Very light and placeable anywhere you want. IPS display makes this pc viewable at any angle. Did multiple productivity on it and no slow downs. Able to display web pages quickly. And even with all the applications on the pc you still get 475Gb of space left. I do recommend getting and external hard drive. I don’t recommend this for heavy gaming. But it can handle some strategy games and casual games very easily. It has Intel integrated graphics card. So its not a dedicated graphics card. There is a lot of light bleeding in the bottom and sides (see review pics) when its a black screen. So you will notice that when you boot the pc up. But it has bright very colorful screen. Colors are vibrant and vivid. Has multiple input ports and USB 2.0 and 3.0 connections. I did get a wireless keyboard trackpad combo instead of connecting the wired keyboard and mouse for portability. Since this pc is so thin and light I can basically carry this and put it anywhere in the house. Instead of using my laptop. It also has Bluetooth and wireless capability. Boots up really quickly. Basically this is more for entertainment , work productivity, and simple casual gaming. Overall great all in one pc from Acer. Oh one more thing.. it is not a touch screen.

    Poor quality control

The screen on the left side is bowed out and you can see light on the edge. Also when looking at a black or dark colored image you see the light showing though the image. Now I am stuck with this junk pc, since it has my personal information on it.

A small, decent, desktop all in one

I unboxed this last night and the first thing to call out is just how easy it is to set up. You can add the base of the stand with no tools, you just align some pins and there’s a screw you can turn by hand. The power plugs in, plug in the included keyboard and mouse and turn it on. I actually used my own keyboard and mouse and they worked just fine as well. The system boots pretty quickly and launches into the windows setup. Now, if you’ve never been through Windows setup, lucky you, because it is brutally painful. Expect to spend a good 30-45 minutes waiting for windows to update and when it finally finishes, you’ll get a bunch of ads for “free” services which actually are just free trials to subscriptions. Skip all that nonsense. Then once you’re in Windows, it’s a pretty snappy computer. I had no issues with basic tasks like moving files, going online, etc. I doubt it is going to be a gaming beast just looking at the specs (8GB RAM?!?!) but for an everyday driver, you’ll be good to go. It is a nice looking machine on your desk and since it is all in one, it takes up the same space as a 21.5″ monitor.

    I’m disappointed with Acer

After about 3 months of buying this computer, even after trying to change the batteries in the keyboard and mouse, the issues persisted. The mouse stopped functioning, and the following week, the keyboard completely ceased to work. While mouse and keyboards can be bought at a reasonable price at Staples, I hope the main computer unit operates smoothly without issues for at least a few years. I’m disappointed with Acer.

Don’t like the maximum resolution for the monitor.

Fan seems to run a lot when the processor is barely under use and the monitor resolution needs to be able to be set higher. is going to take some getting used to but I’ll have to deal with it.

    Efficient and Versatile All-in-One Computer

This computer is highly efficient and operates smoothly, making it an excellent choice for work purposes. The camera quality is decent, but not exceptional. However, you can easily solve this by using an external webcam. Additionally, I have an external microphone for video calls.I really like the screen! It has a matte finish and is larger than I expected, although that was my mistake for not checking the dimensions. The advantage of it being an all-in-one (AIO) computer is that it takes up less space compared to traditional PCs.It’s important to consider that many of the negative reviews were written by individuals who aren’t very knowledgeable about technology. One common complaint was about fan noise, but honestly, it’s not too bothersome. It sounds like a normal computer running. If it does bother you, you can use noise-canceling earplugs or consider getting an Acer laptop instead. If fan noise is a big issue for you, it’s possible that this AIO computer may not be the best fit for your needs, and you might want to explore other computer options.Another problem mentioned was audio quality and issues with Spotify. In one review, the person only mentioned a problem with Spotify not playing audio, but they didn’t realize that the issue was with Spotify itself and not the computer. Additionally, the speaker quality is not the best. I’ve had an Acer Swift Laptop for a couple of years, and its speaker is much better than the one on this computer. However, if you use this computer mainly for school work and games, you’ll probably use headphones anyway, so speaker quality might not matter much.Lastly, for moms considering gifting this computer to their teenage video game enthusiasts, it’s worth noting that it can run games like Roblox, Valorant, Overwatch, and Fortnite with full graphics.

    This is a great computer.

My old PC finally went out so I had to get a new one. This ACER looked like a good one so I bought it. So far it’s working fine for me, but I miss some of the features my old computer had but I will add some things back as soon as possible. Still it’s a good PC.

Best price for this screen size. But….

I do love this computer but there are a few issues. One is the sound card. I listen to Spotify and KNOW how my songs sound , and this computer does not play them correctly. Also when you switch from speakers to earbuds (which you have to go to the back of the screen to do) you then have to tell the computer that your now using earphones or there will be no sound at all. And that is also a pain bc if you miss the pop up window as you run back to look at the screen, I couldn’t find how to switch over, so I have to unplug and plug in again so the pop up happens and I can tell it which one I’m using!!!!! If it sounds like a pain believe me it is. And then the sound isn’t even good. It plays youtube vids fine and every other thing with sound just not Spotify. I actually listen to my music on my laptop still to avoid all this hullabaloo. Also no disk drive is a bit weird. There are light areas around the screen when its on but black. Sometimes I can see it when a movie has a really dark scene but for the most part this is a small issue. Still, I feel something was damaged in delivery or storage. But so far so good as far as anything else. Just that all the plugs are in the back which makes any change more of a pain than if they were along the side. I got it on sale so now $890 seems like a bit much for these issues but if your looking to save $100-$150 (which you’ll need to spend on a disk drive if you don’t have one) go for it! Also the keyboard and mouse work just fine for me. No issues yet.

Great computer, 1080p screen is ok at 27” surprisingly, but accessories

Very nice computer for the price (I feared 1080p screen would be too pixelated to work well on 27”…I was wrong) BUT, budget another $50 for wireless mouse/keyboard replacement. Included ones I couldn’t even get to pair (and I’m pretty tech savvy). Even if mine is a 1-off defect, they look super cheaply made (computer doesn’t though)

    Great PC for the price!

Just as the headline states, this is a great PC for the price. I did upgrade my memory to 32GB, and if you are a gamer or planning to game on the PC, I highly recommend either upgrading or adding memory on this PC, as it has an Intel ARC capable UHD integrated chipset (it will share the system memory into vram). The PC offers an additional DDR Ram slot, and I used this slot to add additional ram to it from my previous Acer AIO. No complaints so far, and this is my everyday PC for PC related tasks.

    Dead pixels

For the price of this AIO, and knowing Acers reputation, I didn’t expect that a faulty display like this could make it past Quality Control. There are a total of 5 dead pixels I can see on the screen. This is not acceptable.

Quality has gone into the toilet

I needed a new desktop and was weighing between this Acer and a Lenovo. The Lenovo had the disk drive I wanted, but I went with the Acer because I’ve had such good luck with them in the past. What a mistake! The day before the free return expired the mouse stopped working. I tried using the form on the Acer website, but it refused to recognize the serial numbers on the back of the computer. There are only two numbers, I tried each one three times and neither was recognized. This isn’t rocket science. So, I found an email address, sent them a message. 72 hours later they responded, asking for those numbers. By this time my new mouse had arrived, and I was able to double check that all drivers were up to date. They were. The new mouse worked four hours and then it also stopped working. I let the computer sit for 3 days, working on my backup computer, turned this one back on, and it worked. For 10 days. Now it won’t go online. At all. I’m going to have to do my best to get as much work as possible off of the computer onto an external hard drive and then return the thing to factory settings. And then I’ll put it back in the box and donate it to charity. I can’t stand it anymore. Don’t make my mistake. Try a different brand.

Very bad screen – almost impossible to read

I own other Dell computers and screens.I bought this computer as an update from existing computer.Unfortunately the screen was not well readable:-) Colors were not correct to the point that i was not able to use my color-coded exel files that i’ve been using for a decade on 10 different computers.-) fonts were also very grainy, not antialiased, and difficult to read.I have spent 4 hours with Microsoft support team trying different setups, and another 4 hours with the Dell support number. (i have all the proofI have had to return it, and i was charged 120$ for that.In addition to that, i have spent about 20 hours of my time in order to first copy all my files and setting up my accounts, and then remove from the machine for the return.Last time I’m buying a Dell, and Last time I’m buying computers on Amazon. They should be paying me for their disservice.

Worst computer I have ever bought.

Sorry to say this is the worst computer I have ever bought. It won’t recognize external storage devices of any kind. The original keyboard and mouse had to be replaced during the first month of use, with aftermarket units, due to very poor construction. Pathetic quality and very poor construction.Honestly I cannot recommend this computer under any situation. A computer that will not recognize external HD’s – memory cards or any form of external storage is of no use at all. Avoid this product at all costs. I’ve only had it since December 2023 and I’m already having to replace the entire piece of garbage.

Suitable for the creation of documents

Full disclosure: I regularly use and prefer the IOS operating system because I don’t ever recall experiencing unexplainable crashes and unprovoked system restarts, and, most importantly, I don’t need to purchase anti-virus software. With that said, I did, however, need a Window’s base system to use a MS graphic designer used for desktop publishing that I really liked; the reason I ordered this Acer Aspire desktop.Minus the lengthy software set up process and the nonobservance of my selection to set up this computer as new, yet the software moved files from my existing MS account to this Acer Aspire’s desktop, I was pleased with the speed of this desktop, especially while searching the internet. The colors on the screen were vibrant and the images on the screen were crystal clear. McAfee anti-virus’ software was already installed, and I think there was a 90-trial period, but I was able to easily uninstall and install an alternative anti-virus program that I favored. I appreciated that the 21.5” screen easily tilted to preference and the size of the screen made viewing content on the screen comfortable for my eyes, without having to change the settings. The Acer Aspire’s companion keyboard and mouse operated well and were of decent quality, and all I had to do was to plug each device into the back ports, power on the system, and the software walked me through set-up. I can’t comment on this desktop’s gaming potential because I’ll only be using the computer for desktop publishing. So far, I haven’t had any problems designing marketing materials on this unit.

    Problems with this PC

I’ve had so many problems with this PC, even after sending it out for repairs within less than two months of purchasing it. The fan runs constantly and loudly the camera fades in and out and the keyboard and mouse will not connect. I purchased another Acer because the prior PC I had was an Acer and it served me well for 10 years but this one is a bunch of crap it seems. I’m so frustrated.

An iMac competitor? For a lot of people, yes!

Acer Aspire C22-1610-UA91: $529.99 at the time of reviewI’m going to kick this review off by saying that I consider myself an advanced computer user. I’ve been working in IT for over 25 years now, and technology is really just a second nature for me. So to be clear, I’m going at this review from the perspective of the average computer user. As for my household, I ordered this laptop because we have a guest room with a desk in it. My parents come and stay with us frequently enough and they are the primary users of that guest room. For whatever reason they prefer using a desktop computer to a laptop. So when they visit us, they end up going into my office to use my computer. It’s not a big deal, but during the workday it would be nice to have something for them to use.I’ve owned Acer computers in the past, and I have to say that I am a big fan of them. Whether it be desktop or laptop, Acer is a brand that I’ve come to trust, which is one of the reasons that I was comfortable ordering this desktop, even though I’ve never used an all-in-one from them before. The unpacking and set up of this computer were a breeze. It certainly is a user-friendly process. The only comment that I’ll make with regards to the Windows 11 set up is that there’s a little bit of a hassle to get this computer set up without using a Microsoft account. There are a number of reasons why I prefer this, but basically my guests don’t need their files being synced to my account (and I really don’t need that either). Thankfully, I’ve been in this situation before, so I knew how to force the computer off of Wi-Fi (being connected to the Internet is what forces you into using a Microsoft account). In my subject line, I compare this directly to the iMac. I think that’s an app comparison, because they’re both computers of a similar size and format (well, the screen on the iMac is a tad bit bigger). To continue my justification, I feel that both this computer from Acer and the iMac from Apple are focused on general computing. These are intended as a daily driver for people browsing the web, emailing, watching videos, and perhaps some very light gaming. To that end, I think that this computer performs admirably. While its processor and RAM choice are on the lower end (the model that I tested came with 8GB of RAM and an i3 processor from Intel), the regular performance is still pretty darn fast thanks to the SSD. It’s also worth noting that the SSD in the base model is 512GB. That’s actually double that of the base model of the iMac (which costs $1300 in a base configuration). One more thing I’d like to mention is the quality of the screen on this computer. There are varying degrees of quality for an LCD screen on a computer and one of the higher quality screen types is an IPS screen. I was actually surprised to see that this desktop comes equipped with an IPS screen at this price point.Just about the only knock I have here is the quality of keyboard and mouse that come with it. They are bog standard, very light and cheap feeling. However, that is easily remedied by ordering something nicer on Amazon. And considering the cost relative to everything else you get here, it’s a forgivable and understandable cost savings measure.Ultimately, I’m pretty impressed with this little computer for $530 (at the time review). While the lower spec processor and ram are reflected in the lower price, you still get a very nice quality IPS screen, a decently sized SSD, excellent performance for average computer use, and the latest version of Windows. All-in-all I found this to be a pretty compelling package for the price. And I think my parents are going to get great use out of it in the guest room. Truthfully, I think I’d probably give this 4.5 stars. However, Amazon doesn’t let us give half star ratings, and I feel like this desktop is definitely better than a four. So my final score will be rounded up to five stars out of five. If you’re looking for an inexpensive all in one with great computing performance, you can’t go wrong here. I’d still probably order this again knowing what I know now. It’s a great fit for our guest room.

Acer warranty service is not acceptable

The monitor display went bad after 4 months. Their contact support in India is very poor. They finally approved that I send it to Acer at my expense for repairs as they don’t pay shipping under warranty. They sent it back and said nothing was wrong. It immediately was bad when I powered it up and I had to send it back again. I took a picture of the display taped it to the computer and sent it back. It took almost 2 months for them to repair. There is not way to contact them for updates. I had to buy another computer as I could not be without for this long. I would strongly recommend against every buying a product from them.

Home use. My last acer was 11 years old and still working but slowing down . My new acer is fast. I’m still using the old acer as an extra monitor.

The fan is way too loud, they’ve got some nerves with this design flaw

The picture quality is poor and needs to be updated. The motor fan sounds like a loud running shower. The audacity of this computer company, I returned mine for a refund.

    Slowest computer ever

This computer is slow. It takes 5 minutes to bring up any web page. I wish I would have listened to the other reviews.

    Not what I wanted

Fairly easy and quick to set up but, all that would work on it was Microsoft Edge, I hate it, I’m chrome person, that’s all I use so had to send it back, I was told by someone that it was probably set for windows 11 S, I don’t know

    Quality

The design and quality are different as look in the pictures, also after turning it on only the screen worked and the audio, keyboard and mouse did not work. We returned it immediately for that reason.

Deceiving description. Called Acer when it would not work. They verified this in NOT a touch screen computer!

Internet connection, audio and microphone issues.

I was so excited to buy this for my virtual class. I set it up a few days before and the morning of the 1st class I made sure everything was working fine. Tested the audio and microphone.Come time for the class, the audio and microphone do not work!! I tried everything to no avail, sent a message to the facilitator and he advised me to just use my phone.I had my daughter come see if she could help fix it for me, after troubleshooting, she decided to look it up online and found that it seems like this is a common issue with the computer.Needless to say I was very frustrated and disappointed. My Microsoft Surface is doing much better. Unfortunately, I have to return it since I don’t have the time to be messing around nor the expertise to try figuring the problem out.

    Complicated

The computer is nice but without the Microsoft 360 it doesn’t allow you to operate the computer. They want $119 for software

Great Computer – Easy to Set Up

Works well, great performance. If you already have a Microsoft 365 account, setup is even easier – it restores everything, including your Office apps and files to the new computer. I also liked that the camera has a privacy cover so I don’t have to use a piece of folded cardboard to cover the camera anymore. With Windows 11, and the way W11 lets you tile all your apps, the 27″ screen has plenty of real-estate and I don’t need a second monitor anymore.Only downside is the keyboard. The keyboard is a flat keyboard and the letters are hard to see depending on the light. I’m not a tough typist, so I have to be able to see the keys. I swapped it out with my Logitech keyboard and mouse that I used on my other computer and those work great.

    It is anyones guess?

Okay it was delivered on time by USPS to the wrong address. Luckily the owner of that address knows me. Next the box opening nothing was broken thank goodness. Key/dongle for the keyboard & mouse is missing/hidden inside the mouse. I called Amazon customer service fortunately they told me about this hidden compartment. Now that everything is working I am still trying to get software and programs from my old PC to the new one. More to come on this saga. Needless to say it is not plug and play unless this is your first and just starting out.Up and running like a Swiss watch. First the not so good. I was expecting the camera to do face recognition to login, it is not compatible for doing that. At start up it will not intuitively move or copy all your files and programs from your old PC to the new one. I found the best and fastest way to do this is with an external hard drive. I would say for most people 1TB is enough to do it. Unless you are a network geek or computer genius. Now for the good stuff. 12th gen iCore5 is lightning fast at 1.3 GHz. 16 M Ram is plenty to run a couple of programs at the same time. 500 GB hard drive I would say is more than enough for most people. I didn’t take up 50 GB and I thought I had a lot ha ha. The graphics are good between the speed of the computer and display, don’t blink your file or program is already open. I would say the picture could be a little more vibrant but it’s not an issue at all. The keyboard and mouse are okay, I have had better, but again not an issue. They feel and work okay. Overall it is a very good computer and you could say great for the money.

    Subpar display quality

I attempted to use this in a dual monitor setup with a Dell SE27 FHD monitor and the color and brightness were clearly lacking here. The Acer screen is okay on it’s own, but when using it with, I guess, a higher quality screen the whites are noticeably darker with a blue-gray tint. Clarity of text is also not as good. I ran through several iterations of color management settings and and windows clear text wizards with no luck. It’s a bummer because otherwise this would be a great machine.

Working well out of the box – EXCEPT

I received the Acer all-in-one exactly as promised. Package appeared to be more than adequate and secure. Set up was amazingly simple – after I connected my old wired keyboard and mouse! The USB reveiver plug necessary to operate the wireless key board and mouse was missing!!!I always unpack this kind of equipment very carefully – one piece at a time following the directions carefully. I save all the packing material just in case something is wrong and I would need to pack it up to return. So I reexamined the empty bok each piece of packing material – no receiver to be found. The keyboard and mouse come in a separate plastic wrapping that also has the batteries in a separate little pouch. I’m guessing that little pouch should ha had the receiver in with the batteries. So I love the computer so far using my work around mouse and keyboard, but part of my selecting this computer was tha fact that it had the wireless components. I trust the right person will see this review and make it right. I’ll let you know.UPDATE: Receiver is located inside the mouse next to the battery. Nothing in the instructions showed that.I really like this computer. Customer service people were very helpful!

Purchased this for my wife since her old computer was somehow able to last 10 years. Overall it seems to work great, but the speakers are even worse than listening to something on your phone

    Muy buen equipo

No me gustó que el mouse que trae necesita conectar un estuche USB y el equipo casi no trae puertos. Tuve que comprar un extensor del USB-C para poder conectar más cosas.
