Awesome CPU, great performance and bang for the buck. Low power draw, keeps cool even under load. Installation is fairly easy if you’ve installed CPUs before. Just watch a youtube how to do it. The only problem I had with it was I didn’t see the little pamphlet in the box that said to upgrade my BIOS version before upgrading. Unfortunately, I was one version outdated. Had to uninstall, reinstall the old CPU, do a BIOS update which was a B, then do the swap again. Needless to say, went through a whole tube of thermal paste by the time I was done (speaking of, this does not include the paste nor the cooler).

For this price range, this is the best CPU you can get. It is very fast, stays pretty cool, and is obviously an easy install.One thing I will say is since this is a new-ish CPU, you may need to update your bios for certain motherboards. I had to on a Tomohawk MAX.

El procesador es una excelente compra dependiendo de tus utilidades. Para jugar es más que suficiente y dependiendo la gráfica que tengas vas a tener un rendimiento altísimo. Para otro tipo de trabajos como edición o creación de contenido es también una excelente opción, no falla en ningún aspecto y trabaja con cualquier tarea que le exijas.Es muy importante saber si es compatible con la board ya que aveces no suele ser compatible, no porque no funcione, solo es cuestión de actualizar la BIOS de la Board o simplemente guiarse por cual Board comprar para que sean compatibles.Acerca del envío llego antes de lo esperado, bien cuidado y en excelentes condiciones. Para el caso de Latinoamérica recomendado. Un producto totalmente eficiente si lo que quieres es subir el nivel de tu PC

Great upgrade over the Ryzen 5 3600X that come with my system.
So far not anything to find the CPU at blame for, it changed out just fine fit just like it should and after resetting my MB back to stock I was able to run my 3200 RAM at that speed without any stuff happing in the OS.So far I have run it both with just POB2 and it does okay there but found that the temps are much more happy and get and hold higher clocks speed if I use the Curve Editor I went from about 4.3Ghz with POB2 to 4.65GHz and I dropped from trying to hit 95 Max Tj all the time to doing 4.65Ghz and staying around the 60 deg mark. I have a enermax flow II AOI cooler on the CPU. but when it’s not doing anything it run about 1 or 2 deg higher then what the 3600x did but hey it’s got 8 cores not just 6 so yeah a small bump in temp is not a huge thing. Over all if your stock due to money with the AM4 platform then yeah do yourself a fave and get one this. in both OC setting I was betting out a Ryzen™ 7 5800X and a low end Threadripper in the new Cinnabench 24. I was very happy and thought this will do me for the next 5 or maybe even 10 years to come.

Solid and Powerful CPU
I love this CPU. I’m upgrading from a Ryzen 3600x and I noticed the speed upon turning on my pc, with it booting up so fast and running smooth. I also got a RX 6800 and it’s compatible with it with no bottleneck. I got the cpu for $182 black Friday. If you can grab with that price than it’s worth it. Just as good as the Ryzen 5 5800x, but uses less battery consumption which is great for me since I use a lot of RGB for my computer. Note! It doesn’t come with a air cooler. Need to buy your own and it can’t be a basic cooler. You need a mid tier fan or low tier AIO to keep it cool. Noise is silent depending on what fan you get. Good for any AMD B450 motherboard.

Fast processor for my needs
Works well for my major application–processing of my astrophotography images. My only complaint is that I get a message on startup that I haven’t installed the graphics drivers, but, hey, this has no chip level graphics, as I’m running a separate GPU. Or is that a motherboard issue?

Works great and does it’s job
If this is your first time building your PC, don’t worry! You’re not going to break it (it is very fragile though so still be careful). This was the scariest part about building a PC. But on the good note, this works fantastic. It does everything that it describes. My PC runs fantastic! I highly recommend this if you’re playing high quality games and opening up multiple tabs. It runs smooth, no complications, it’s so amazing. If you’re curious on how it’s doing after awhile and don’t wanna go into BIOS, click your task manager and go to performance. Good luck to you new PC builders! You’ll do great!!

I upgraded from the Ryzen 5 3600 which was terrible for video editing. With this new cpu, I’m able to do video editing and use adobe products flawlessly even while streaming videos on my other monitor at the same time. Definitely worth it. Been solid for over a year
I wanted to build a new PC about a year ago, but was saving up money for few other things. My existing gaming PC build at the time was a 2700x with a RTX 2060 which was struggling with a few games. So to save some money and still get a performance upgrade I purchased the 5700x on sale along with a RTX 3060 TI that was on sale at the time as well. My ASUS motherboard was built for the Ryzen 3000 series, so I needed to install a BIOS update for it to recognize the 5700X, so I updated the BIOS before removing the 2700x chip. CPU installation was fine and the computer recognized the chip on Windows startup. After being a few generations behind, the system felt faster and snappier on the 5700x. This CPU along with the new video card was again handling PC games with ease on high and ultra settings. Would definitely recommend if you want to give your older AMD socket PCs a refresh.

Make sure to check the pins!
I bought mine brand new and one of the pins was bent. Not a big deal but could have been had I not noticed. It was so subtle the only way I could tell was the cpu wasn’t seated correctly. I just grabbed a razor blade and adjusted it back into place. Please check that it is seated correctly or you could make a bad situation even worse. Besides that little hiccup it’s a great cpu!

Price to performance beast
The price to performance ratio is stellar (bought it for $169 in Dec ’23).I hit the silicon lottery with mine because I was able to under-volt it by a magnitude of 30 (approximately 90 to 150 millivolts).Upgraded from a Ryzen 7 2700x. The motherboard I’m using is an AsRock x470 Taichi. The upgrade process was relatively smooth. This is the order in which I did it:Downloaded x470 Taichi’s latest bios onto a USB.Booted into bios and did a bios update from said USB.Powered down system once bios update completed. Removed Ryzen 7 2700x CPU.Installed Ryzen 7 5700x CPU. Powered on computer.Entered bios and re-applied XMP profile for RAM, disabled PBO limits, undervolted CPU in curve optimizer by a magnitude of 30.Booted into Windows. Ran OCCT and did a CPU stress test for 30 minutes.Not only does this 5700x draw WAY less power than a 2700x, it’s also 25C cooler when stress tested in OCCT. MY 2700x would hit 85-90C during the stress test and this 5700x won’t go over 60C.I’m using a Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE CPU cooler with a Phanteks T30-120 Fan stuck in-between the two heatsinks of the Peerless Assassin.

Does the job no problem
4k gaming no problem for me. Runs cooler then expected, I also thought I would have to flash bios but nope. Put it in added thermal paste and installed the aio. Now I’m back to it. The only issue I have currently is figuring out how to stop gaming. I think personally good investment. I play 4k 60fps on all games that I can. If not 1440. I have it paired with a rtx 3080 12gb that’s undervolt in montech air max. So plenty of air flow.

From a 1700 to 5700x Ryzen and AM4 are GOATED
Got mine for 169.99…. yeah let that sink in. This thing for 65watts matching the 5800x is lovely. I never run past 65c on air cooling with ID cooling se 214xt. I push 4k cyberpunk with increase draw distance – super population, increased traffic mods and more. This thing handles that all at ease with settling in at 55-65c depending on area and action. I bought it in July 2022 and finally put in a build winter 2023 cause GPU pricing. I could of done it sooner but the wait with pairing my 7900xt has been killer so far. Now with the x3d version AM4 keep on giving.

Excelente procesador pero algo caliente
Es una bestia, funciona a 3.4 GHz pero fácilmente sobre pasa los 4Ghz, eso sí es muy calentito, por lo que necesitas una buena refrigeración, tengo un disipador Cooler Master hyper 212 black edition y me sirve mucho, lo máximo que ha alcanzado en juegos es 64 grados, pero creo que es porque me faltan ventiladores en el chasis que saquen aire, tengo 4 en total, 3 que entran aire en el frente y uno que saca por detras. En conclusión es muy buena inversión, AMD se lució con estos procesadores, llevo 5 días de haberlo instalado y todo anda perfecto.

Acabo de llegar a mi casa en muy excelente estado y demoro mucho menos de lo que esperaba, viene completamente sellado y con muy buena protección ante golpes falta probarlo pero para los que les da descomfiansa es la primera vez, solo es tener paciencia y estar muy bien informado

Great Purchase
I bought this one for gaming/work as developer and it works smooth. It works as expected, no issues so far.Good product, good speed, no overheat.I built my PC using this processor, NZXT H5 Flow, CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB PRO 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3600, be quiet! Best Ryzen 5000 for the price. This CPU give you all, Single and Multi threaded Stability, and did i say it was cheap.. DAMMN Cant ask for more.

Coming from a AMD FX-8350 to this Ryzen 7 5700x Huge Improvement
I need to speed up my processing power for video rendering and going from FX8350 to this 5700x was 4x or 400% faster times, yes just what I wanted it to do. I was surprised that this 5700x was just barely better than their 5600x, only reason why is because of the 2 extra cores and 4 extra threads. So in multi core programs, like rendering it will help, so glad I got the 5700x over the 5600x I just built for my dad. I did stick in 32gb of 4000ghz ram, that will help a lot and got 2 more slots for another 32gb later. So I am happy, temps are good and low for the AIO cooler I had already on my FX8350, a Corsair(when corsair was reliable). Just had to buy a $8 AMD 4 mounting bracket to make it fit from the AMD 3+ I had the FX8350 on. Will serve me another 5+ years, before I have worry about this again, the FX8350 served me 6 years and it was getting tired for rendering, especially since I jumped to 4k.

Un año con el producto
Compré este procesador para usarlo en una Rog Strix B550-F Gaming y me ha resultado una excelente inversión, fue fácil de instalar y bastante intuitivo en general, lo único que hay que tomar en cuenta es que este producto no cuenta con ventilación en esta entrega y de hecho recomiendo usar un FAN que se adapte a la necesidad del procesador. Adjunto rendimiento en la ventana del Administrador de Tareas a casi un año de uso prolongado del procesador mientras juego.

Working fine but…
Working fine, ran it through Cinebench and played a few games. Definitely an improvement over what I had. However, it had 5 bent pins out of the box. Which means the only two AMD processors I’ve bought have arrived with bent pins. Now I was able to get them back into place and nothing seems to be damaged, but it’s just so disappointing this happened again.

Great for video editing
I upgraded from the Ryzen 5 3600 which was terrible for video editing. With this new cpu, I’m able to do video editing and use adobe products flawlessly even while streaming videos on my other monitor at the same time. Definitely worth it. Great for gaming too which I know a lot of people reading reviews are wondering about.
