Film Editing is Slow, Using Serato doesn’t work. Not Happy! Not HAPPY!!!
I purchase this laptop to edit film and to run the Serato program for my DJ work. It doesn’t keep up!!! NOT HAPPY WITH THIS LAPTOP!!!!!!

Get a 1TB if you can
Due to the way the drives work, a 1TB offers greater performance in addition to the larger storage. That said Apple has really high pricing on their storage. I’m doing an experiment with ACASIS with their new fan case, and packing thermal padding around a 1TB NVMe T700 by Crucial. If it works I’m just duct taping it to the top and booting off it after cloning. YoloEdit: if it works I’ll post a review video of my duct taped MacBook ProP.S. where the major savings would come in is by selecting the 4TB by Crucial. Apple charges $1,200 for that upgrade and at Crucial you can get the NVMe SSD 4TB on sale for $407.. plus an ACASIS thunderbolt 4 NVMe enclosure. All said you’re saving roughly 50% oh add duct tape pricing

Excellent, for business and photo editing
This version is not the M3 Max version that I originally was going to purchase, but the M3 Pro with 32GB of RAM and 512GB SSD. I thought it might be too heavy as I have the 15″ MacBook Air as well, but it is slightly heavier than my 15″ Dell XPS laptop which this is replacing. Great screen, Mini LCD, which is close to the OLED on my Dell XPS 15.Recommended

Apple late 2023 Macbook Pro 512GB
The device is very slim and not very heavy. The Display is very Beautiful, sharp and clear. Additionally the system is very responsive and moves fast. Overall a wonderful product, but keep in mind how much storage space you may need before you select which one to purchase.

Excellent product.
I had a MacBook Pro i7 16, and I decided to change for the M3, and in general I see great significant changes in performance and processing. The focus is more on software development, which is my job. Although I have seen many reviews, regarding its predecessors such as the M1 and M2 I would think that if you think about changing for this one, it is better to wait a bit since the change is not so big. But if you have a MacBook Pro with intel processors, I do recommend making the switch. At least in terms of development it is excellent, as long as you opt for this M3 version with 16 ram. I have been using it for 2 months now and everything is normal in relation to the battery, very demanding in performance. I could not say much for other areas such as design or video, but it is a great option.

Changed from a 13″ M1 Macbook Pro (2020) because of screen size
Before purchasing this I had a M1 Macbook Pro 13″ the main reason I changed it was because of the screen size, as for performance I can feel a huge performance boost and so far I’m loving the only downside is that it’s heavier than the 13″ but that’s something I can live with no problem

This company stole my money
Don’t buy from this company. They didn’t honor refunding this purchased. The product received required a call to Apple Support. According to Apple Support the unit had a bad hard drive and recommended replacing it since it was < 6 days old. There is nowhere in the universe the consumer is responsible for a manufactured defect despite the seller.This seller partially refunded the amount but still owes me over $500 and would not respond to my emails. I just started my small business and I bought this laptop for my business. I am still owed a substantial amount of funds. I do not recommend this seller. What a beautiful piece of technology oh my gosh
I bought this because my employer gave me an M2 when I needed accessibility assistance because the regular windows computers work like crap. Especially Dells. I fell in love with the new computer from my employer it was Christmas and I ended up spending my bonus on an M3. It’s an amazing amazing device. You can’t go wrong it’s just very expensive.

Overall a Great Macbook Pro, but a few drawbacks and insanely horrible customer service!
I am a long-time Macbook Pro fan. This is my fourth one. The others lasted for years, and I hope this does as well.Liked – more things than I can list, but here are a few:The black color choice. (I never liked gray or metallic.)Most responsive trackpad I’ve had yet, and like it that the r-hand click can be placed in the lowest RH corner so there aren’t those accidental annoying right clicks.Excellent keyboard. I type a lot, and fast (I’m a writer) and am happy with this, as well as the backlighting.More options than in the past for personalization with colors, design, etc.The 16.2″ is a good size. I had the 17″ back in the day, loved it, and this is pretty close.GREAT sound!DISLIKE:1. Colors are super oversaturated, like that friend who takes pictures of sunsets and then artificially saturates them so that they look bizarre. Someone else spoke of the yellows on these screens as looking like urine yellow. True! I like a bright screen, but not colors that hurt my eyes and don’t look true. I use the full-force Night Shift 24/7 and it is still too bright. After lots of searching, I finally found a way to shade it down a little bit, but…2. Just as with my last Mac, cannot for the life of me get MAIL to work with my numerous email accounts, and it is a pain to figure out how. It is NOT intuitive by any means. Instead, I downloaded the dreaded Microsoft Outlook, which is much simpler.3. Pages has changed since my last Mac, and I miss my old Inspector. I had become accomplished in Pages and used it all the time. This was a new learning curve. IMHO, the newer version of Pages is NOT an improvement!3. iCloud is a major hindrance. BEWARE!!!! I had not been on the cloud before and it was simple to sign in as I opened the computer so I thought “What the heck”…but it then began gobbling up my limited internet like nobody’s business and slowing everything down, including my TV, which I stream! I hated seeing icloud messages on all my screens, constantly begging me to purchase more. I want to work with my own documents without that kind of nuisance.When I called Apple to see how I could turn off icloud without losing content on my computer, the chat lines were manned by people (I think in the Philippines) with extremely poor communication skills, no apparent understanding of English, and minimal knowledge of how Macbook Pros work. After online chats with three different people lasting over an hour, and having to explain over again with each one what the situation was, one of them tried to give me a solution, but it was bad information and in attempting to disconnect from icloud, my desktop that I’d spent a long time arranging completely disappeared! The whole point in calling had been to make sure nothing would be erased from my computer. It is absolutely sickening that icloud and Mac have the ability to erase my files!!!!Otherwise, these reps knew nothing. I had to repeat myself continuously with no understanding on their end. It should have been simple to solve. I imagine thouands of Mac users have the same question: How can I disconnect completely from icloud without losing any of the files on my computer? None of them could answer me.Finally I was connected to a “supervisor” via phone…another lengthy bit of time. This woman had such a thick accent and spoke so quickly that I could not understand her! I politely told her that I could not understand her accent and asked if she would speak more slowly to me. After rehashing the same problem with her, she informed me that she only worked with ipads and phones, and would connect me to someone who could help me. Then she hung up on me. I suspect it was deliberate because, 1. no one could answer my question; and 2. I had said that I didn’t really understand her because of her accent.I finally gave up and solved the problem on my own. I will never, ever, EVER sign into Apple again, because doing so will trigger the darned icloud. It is a shame, because I will probably want to buy apps from the App store, but sadly, signing in means that icloud will again access my files. Apple needs to stop holding its customers, who have spent thousands of dollars, hostage in this way.3. Updating to the latest version of Sonoma, naturally I lost several wonderful programs that I had paid good money for.4. One other grumble, if anyone from Apple is listening: like so many others, I’ve gone through all kinds of ports over the years, only to have them disappear. A lot of things are still made using the old USB-A port. It would be so sweet to include a USB-A, or an easy connector for them that doesn’t cost a million dollars.Bottom line: I am still happy I got this MacBook pro.

Great purchase
I’ve been over 4 years without a Mac since my late 2013 retina device. This machine is a huge improvement and makes feel my current ThinkPad X1 Yoga 4ta Gen (i7/16 GB RAM) as a toy!I’ve been using this machine with 2 4K monitors, Visual Studio Code plus other programs and works smooth. Highly recommended!

(Space Black) Weird residue on laptop, doesn’t feel solid
The media could not be loaded.
Laptop was new, box never opened, and when I took the laptop out there were small bits of glue or something on the body. Not a big deal but when I used a damp microfiber cloth to wipe the outside it revealed a TON of residue leftover from tape or something, probably during the assembly process.Handling the laptop it didn’t feel as solid as my old MBP M1 Pro. For example, tapping on the palm rest or back of the unit made a vibrating noise. My MBP M1, for comparison, was always a solid ‘thunk’ except in the very center of the bottom (by the logo).I was surprised by the build quality, it didn’t feel up to Apple’s usual standard. I’m returning mine and trying my luck on a second order.
