ZERO STARS – they stuck a new system in an ancient VINTAGE shell so it can’t work -UNUSABLE
ZERO STARS – BE CAREFUL, this company advertised it as “refurbished” but it is NOT – it was old VINTAGE and UNUSABLE computer. I paid $1,407.24 for NOTHING, WORTH NOTHING, I took it to an Apple store since it took all day each time I tried to try to boot up. I never had a Mac before, and this company disguised the old platform with a current operating system – but the computer is so ancient, it CANNOT WORK. It was deceiving because this company installed a current OS version but when I took it to Apple they laughed and said it worth NOTHING. I discovered the the computer was built in 2013, about 10 years ago, 10 + generations ago, impossible to use, it is SO OLD, IT IS VINTAGE and WORTH NOTHING. NONE of my trial applications WORKS on it. I don’t have time to try to devote a day at a time to try to deal with a computer since I am a lawyer, so I had to try to wait till I would have a whole day to devote to try to get it to work because I kept thinking it would work, but when I took it to Apple I found out. . It took Geek Squad 4 weeks to remove the few documents that it took me hours and hours to try to upload. I paid his piece of junk was built. I am furious. I tried to give it negative stars.

Delivered as advertised and a solid deal.
I’m sorry for anyone that had a bad experience ordering this computer from this company. But the one I received is immaculate and running fantastic! It’s running the latest OS just fine and I am running it hard for audio production with no issues. It came with Magic Mouse 2 as promised. If anything changes, I will absolutely let you know. No I don’t know this company and I have nothing to lose by trashing them if something is wrong. But full honesty, this product is awesome and a great deal.

Overall very nice, but not what I was expecting
I hopped on this deal thinking this was going to be a really great opportunity. Overall the specs on the computer were great, and actually instead of a 1 TB hard drive it came with a 3 TB hard drive. Awesome surprise! I was very disappointed however when I looked closer and the refurbished model was from 2012! Unfortunately for me, that is far too old. They were accommodating and issued me a refund for the purchase when I shipped it back to them. Oh well, so close, yet so far. They need to be a bit more clear in their product description!

Do not purchase from Techdeals4less
First of all, what was advertised on Amazon isn’t what was delivered. Secondly, the computer that I bought from them a little over a year ago (2019) suddenly stopped working and makes 3 beeping sounds at startup. I took it to the Apple store and i was told that the rams are bad. The Apple technician pointed out that I was sold a computer with two separate (green and black) inferior rams. I was also told, the computer was first purchased back in 2013 (made in 2011) and they couldn’t repair it. They wanted me to contact techdeal4less for repair or reimbursement for repair. I contacted Techdeals4less and they replied with, “ Hello, Thank you for reaching out. We regret to inform you these units come with a 90 Day Money Back Warranty and unfortunately your warranty has expired. Once the warranty has expired we are no longer able to take further action. If you have purchased the extended warranty through Amazon we recommend contacting them directly, seeing as we are not the provider of the extended warranty”.So please stay away from this seller and whatever you purchase from them will likely breakdown after 90 days. Techdeals4less is a scammer with false advertisement!

Misleading on age of computer or version.
It appeared that it was a newer version, saying it was first available 2018.Now I realize it was a 2013.Not happy about that. It runs slow.The one I was replacing is a 2013.I’m sending it back.

Functional but not pretty
I got this unit for my church to replace a late 2015 that was giving me the red apple of death. This unit works great but came smelling to heavily of cigarettes that it literally sent me into a coughing fit just from opening the box. The screen hS a couple of points that had been burned in as well but a screen burn repair video fixed they and a generous amount of glass cleaner eventually got the stench off of the unit.

Better than advertised
I bought this as a refurbished, older model, and it turned out to be better than what I ordered. It had a better graphics card faster processor than advertised based on this I would assume that the advertise specifications are a minimum. After un-boxing it, I immediately downloaded the latest OS and got started. Everything works as good as new.

Do Not Buy From Tek Galaxy
First, I must mention the way Tek Galaxy shipped my 27″ IMAC in cellophane and bubble wrap was a JOKE!!! The computer was not shipped in an original Apple box or anything thereof and the cardboard box the computer arrived was damaged and partially open.The computer did not operate properly within weeks of receiving it, however I was hospitalized and was unable to report the issue to Amazon/Tek Galaxy. In addition, I purchased the 2-year warranty through Asurion, which is even a bigger joke cause when I contacted them it took several days for them to answer the phone. When I finally got ahold of a customer service technician, they could not resolve the problem and transferred me to Apple Care. Their CSR/Tech said the computer was not under warranty and they could not help. I explained my situation and the Apple rep attempted to help, but was unable and he transferred me to a more “experienced” tech, who could not help and advised the software was corrupted. I was sold a bill of goods first from Tek Galaxy and then Asurion.I contacted Amazon customer service and spoke to at least 5 CSR’s filing several claims and was lied to. I even spoke to three supervisors and was lied to and given the “run around” for several weeks. One of their CSR’s even sent an email assuring me that I would receive a full refund within one week. I was told today by the third supervisor that he did not have the authority to send that email.BUYER BEWARE:DO NOT BUY FROM TEK GALAXY OR PURCHASE A WARRANTY THROUGH ASURION.YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND OR GET ASSISTANCE ON THEIR WARRANTY!!!!

Why Is Apple So Difficult?
OK, it is a great machine mechanically, very fast and the screen quality is excellent. The screen size (since discontinued by Apple due to terminal stupidity) is 27 inches and that’s a rather perfect size. My issue is that I’m an Widows veteran, but considering that Microsoft is even dumber than Apple when it comes to doing insanely stupid things, had to change ponies to avoid any further terminal Windows updates. That should have been a snap, but alas I find that Apple likes to hide everything, and name everything that has no association with what it does, except when you guess right, it bounces up and down on the screen. I had to go Apple because the programs I need (architect) can only be found in the land of OSMac. Aside from making me search endlessly for what I need, I find that Apple is not compatible with any known human made printers, scanners or plotters even if you’re willing to pay the A ransom. It has been a very difficult and time consuming road, and this time anyway, it IS the destination and NOT the journey. If you hear a loud noise ……

Pleasantly surprised with a “Renewed” computer.
For it being a “Renewed” computer I was very surprised that it looked like a new computer. I got it hooked up and so far it is working great. I really like the big 27″ screen. I debated between the 21.5″ and 27″ screen and I’m glad I went with the 27″.

Muy mala no la recomiendo
Yo no uso la iMac y solo me duro un mes. Luego comenzó a frisarse, se le dañaba el disco duro y tenía que irme a tecla Comando + R y reiniciar la iMac. Es un desastre de computadora no la recomiendo. Aparte se le rompió un pedazo de la parte negra en la pantalla muy fácil. Me tuve que gastar 200 dólares en teclado y raton nuevos por que los que dan son baratos y de otra marca. No viene en casa original y la compu es 2017 pero modificada a generaciones actuales. NO RECOMIENDO COMPRAR AQUI. Me gaste $1,400

The Apple iMac 27-Inch Desktop, 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7 Processor, 16 GB memory, 1TB HDD (Renewed) is a great product and works perfectly. When I first got the product it would not work with the supplied keyboard & mouse. There was another keyboard and mouse that the vendor supplied and that would not connect either. If I did not have an Apple iMac keyboard from a 2003 and 2013 iMac. I would have to have returned the purchased iMac. I contacted the vendor and went around and around for a month before I just received refund for a keyboard & mouse and I have to use the keyboard from my 2013 iMac.I had initial hard drive issues when trying to install Apple updated software but that was resolved. It’s assumed that the product shipped was not tested with the keyboard & mouse provided. When inquiring why an Apple keyboard & mouse were not provided with the 27” iMac shipped to me the vendor stated that, “ All amazon apple renewed listings state in bullet points and descriptions that the accessories will be generic. ”.

Not plug and play; crappy accessories
The machines themselves were exactly what we expected. We have no beef with the computers themselves. However, the OS installed on them was pretty old. Before we could begin to use these computers, we had to update — and it was a pretty good leap from what is installed on these machines to the current OS. Took a lot of time.Also, the keyboard and mouse supplied frankly suck. Please consider providing better accessories.

Scam
I personally don’t like writing negative reviews because i understand the hard work behind business. But for the first time i have to and If i could give a zero star i would. Honestly, i wouldnt recommend to my enemy, buying from this seller. For crying out loud why would you package a product knowing fully well it’s barely operational? The computer shuts down itself randomly with a loud and piercing noise. This is just nothing but scam which am surprised Amazon would permit on its platform.

This computer was advertised as 1TB. It is 120.99GB. Multiple attempts to try and contact the seller have resulted in no responses. Amazon has not been helpful or proactive in solving the problem. Don’t buy.

Delivery was a mess
Damage to the box. The keyboard box was squished. The mouse is missing the usb link. Tried to set up a new Apple ID and it says the iMac has set up too many already? So it’s unusable. This iMac lived hard, apparently.
