A life saver
I live on a major road and these have literally blocked off any road noise for me! Even in the loudest hour you could barely hear a thing with them on. The sound quality is great too but worth getting it for the noise cancelling alone.

Great (this is a corrected review)
These headphones are great, and you can’t tell they were refurbished. (I’m correcting a previous review, which was erroneously poor. I mixed up the products I was reviewing—sorry). These refurbished headphones arrived in a great condition and were exactly as advertised. Frankly, they were in better condition than a “new” set that was sold to me at the same time by another distributor. My college student loves these.

Former Bose Skeptic. These are worth the $.
Got an open box pair for 215.00 I’ve been a huge fan of anker and some of the cheaper brands. But I got to say, these things are super comfortable, they perform amazingly well, and the battery life is unbelievable. They’re definitely superior to the cheaper brands. They just feel right.

Amazing
I’ve had these for almost a month starting June and they’re the best headphones I’ve ever worn. They’re so comfortable and stay on when I’m at the gym. When I’m doing workouts where I’m laying down, they tend to slip off. I have a smaller head, and my AirPod Pros did the same thing. The noise cancellation is amazing, even with it on Aware mode. Additionally, the battery life is amazing. I received these at around 70% battery and they died a week later. So, for someone like me who wears them everyday for at least an hour, the battery lasts a lot longer than AirPods. If you’re on the fence about buying these, buy them! I got them in blue and they’re so gorgeous!

Amazing sound + comfortable
I bought Beats but decided to give these a try after realizing the sound wasn’t that great on the Beats.. I love these!! In comparison these are amazing. Noise canceling, amazing clear sound, they get loud, and SOO comfortable. They don’t hurt after a while and the pads are soft. I will say compared to the Beats the battery life on the Bose could be better. Battery life was about 1/2 compared to them. But overall, these are such a good investment. I hope they last.

Best headphones EVER — worth the investment!
1 year ago I purchased some generic, noise cancelling earbuds for a long-haul flight (the kind with the wire, not bluetooth). They advertised comfortable memory phone, excellent sound and were only $30, so I figured it was worth a try – BOY WAS I WRONG! Even with the volume turned up, I could barely hear what I was watching, over the airplane noises and also they were indescribably uncomfortable.Fast forward 1 year, we had another long-haul flight trip planned and there was NO WAY I was using those ear buds again. I figured I would try out these Bose ones (bought 2 pairs, one for myself and one for my husband), worse case scenario is I don’t like them either and can return them. I AM SO GLAD I SPLURGED AND BOUGHT THESE!!! They are very easy to pack in a carryon bag and come with a nice, slim profile carrying case. The ear coverings are like clouds surrounding your ears – so soft and comfortable, even after a 10 hour flight! The noise cancelling is insanely good – there was a baby crying 5 rows behind us and I didn’t even notice until I took my headphones off to speak to the flight attendant. The sound quality is crystal clear (at least for the movies and netflix shows I had downloaded). I noticed that the noise cancelling works better when using bluetooth instead of the included cord, but I’m a-ok with that! I could not possibly give these headphones a higher recommendation. An absolute must buy!

Comfy
I am very picky when it come to headphones but these are really comfortable and they don’t give me headaches. I have a lot of ear piercings but the headphones are big enough that they don’t get agitated while wearing them, but the headphones still look sleek and cool. The noise cancellation is good, comparable to AirPods pro except maybe a bit better. The audio quality is a little bit less nice than with AirPods Pro but its not bad by any means. (I use +10 bass, -1 mid, +treble). The white color is really nice because it’s off white while not being too cream colored. I use a digital softphone for work and the headphones work perfectly when paired to my laptop, and the customers can hear me very clearly through the headphones mic. I really like these headphones, they are refurbished (for $100 cheaper) but they look and preform as exactly brand new.

Great Quality Headphones
I love these headphones they are comfortable to wear and the battery lasts for several hours. The noise canceling mode is effective at blocking out annoying sounds and are great for a plane ride or road trip. For the aware mode I can hear my surroundings just enough to be aware of everything around me. The app is nice since it lets you control the bass and treble levels. In my opinion these are better then the Beats headphones in terms of sound quality.Also I ordered it refurbished and the quality of it was great and practically new so don’t hesitate to buy it from the Amazon renewal program

Expensive, reasonably comfortable, okay noise canceling, okay audio quality, missing some features
Complaints:Biggest flaw is you cannot just turn off the noise canceling. There’s either “quiet” mode that blocks sound or “aware” mode that transmits sound as if you were wearing no headphones. Bose needs to include an “noise cancel off” mode that just acts like regular headphones and saves battery.You also can’t use them while they’re charging and can’t send audio through a USB C connection. I can’t imagine why Bose forgot to include those obvious features. Also they’re expensive for a pair of headphones.Comfort:Comfort is good, especially for people like me with big heads. They don’t press too hard against my ears or against the top of my head. If your head is on the petite side they might feel a little loose.Noise canceling:Noise canceling works well against constant droning sounds like engines. Unfortunately it’s not nearly as effective against human speech. I bought these over noise canceling earbuds because I can wear ordinary earplugs underneath these. I have tested that combination in a noisy environment and it really works well.Audio quality:Lots of online reviews complain about the audio quality. Yes, they can sound less than perfect, especially on songs that weren’t mixed all that well in the first place. They do well on voice calls. For me, that’s acceptable for general-purpose headphones. In my music studio I have professional quality headphones with vastly better sound, but they’re bigger, they don’t cancel noise or work on Bluetooth or take phone calls. Comparing the Bose headphones to professional “cans” is like comparing a minivan to a sports car. They’re just designed to be good at different things.

True noise blocking headphones with great sound
Got these to take on a 17hour plane ride, and they really blocked out all the noise on the plane. Watching a movie or listening to music without hearing people around me talking was wonderful. Plus the quality of sound from Bose is a given. I have it linked to my phone and ipad, so can switch devices easily. Love them.

Better than my kids apple head phones
We got on this kick where everyone in the house went after a set of headphones. Apple, Bose and JL audio were the big 3 players. After everyone else bought theirs….well I chose the set I wanted. Yes they are referbs, yes I overpaid for a blue set. Yes I would buy another set. You don’t realize how nice they are until they start blocking out the noise.These are not silent by no means but better than the Apple brand. If you are looking for super silent. Maybe try a higher dolllar brand. How would I describe these to you. These work great on an airplane full of people and engine noise. Lets you enjoy your music/show. Good luck all on whatever you go with!

Very good sound and noise canceling but when you use noise canceling it sometimes makes a sandstorm noise but after using it a couple days it doesn’t happen anymore.The button placement is kinda okay just have to get used to the spot.Mic quality is mid.It would be 5star if it can use TRS cable?audio cable? this really sucks that it didn’t had.

Good but you can’t disable ANC/passthrough
Sound is good, the headphones are comfy and the app doesn’t require me to create an account. The main drawback is that if you’re using them with bluetooth (as opposed to wired), there’s no way to disable the noise management (ANC or passthrough). This means you always get that weird pressure feeling, and that any amount of wind will sound super loud (both in passthrough and ANC) so you can’t really use them outside. It would be so simple to add an “off” mode I can’t fathom why they don’t do it.

So far so good
Got these in the last week. The ear cups face outwards when I have them around my neck, that seems weird. Integrated microphone, and no complaints about my audio from callers. They’re nice and light, just a little creaky if I’m laying down with them. Sound is pretty good, I listen to trip-hop as well as hard rock, and I can hear each component of the music. Five stars if the ear cups didn’t face out.

Download the app where you can control the noise cancellation. Turn the NC on or off, very cool. I had my last previous generation headset for several years without complaint. I expect this new generation will uphold the Bose tradition of quality.

I didn’t know how much noise my brain had to ignore all the time. When I turn on the noise canceling.. peace!!! The sound is wonderful and you can connect to multiple devices at the same time. If I am watching TV and my phone rings, it will manage to pause the tv for me to answer the phone and resume after the call is done. I am amazed.

Great for college student!
My college’s student lounge is much more comfortable to sit and study in than the library, but the noise level can be distracting. These headphones are great for cancelling out all but the loudest of sudden noises. In my opinion, the sound quality is great, but I had only used really cheap headphones before I purchased these a month ago. I spend roughly 6 hours a day using these headphones, and I only use about 20-30% of the battery in that time. My only complaint is that sometimes I get headaches when I use the noise cancelling feature for too long.

Bose Headphones
I’m still looking for something that fits over my ears better but these are a better fit than audio Technica which I got from a computer store the exact fit on the ears you can only wear for so long so I wanted them to go over my ear so I’m still looking for another pair Bose has wonderful excellent sound quality and there was more features on this headset then I expected the sound quality by Bose is always wonderful especially when you don’t have equalizer controls they are the top of the line in sound quality. Wonderful headset.

Received defective unit — but Bose warranty was still good!
I received a defective unit — the noise cancellation had a high-pitched whine in the right ear; however, Bose customer support was very helpful and because the warranty was still valid on the unit for another year, they replaced them for free. Ultimately I feel like I got my money’s worth with this purchase, but I would be warry of refurbished products from this seller with not as good a warranty as Bose has. The original pair I received clearly was not tested during refurbishment.

Very comfortable and strong BT signal makes using with cell phone handsfree a breeze.
I like that’s there’s two (2) levels of noise cancellation (“Aware”) and maximum cancellation. I use with my cell phone & for computer audio via BT. I also like that there’s an auxiliary phone jack for corded use (longer battery life) for watching downloaded movies/shows while flying.

Stunning !
I had the QC35, which was already a dream. The noise cancellation on this new QC45 is stunning. Sound quality is great and, when used wired, very comparable to the QC35. I only listen to classical music and am really happy with this purchase – It says “renewed” but came in original box, with original accessories and all. Looks like an original to me.

Great sound and super comfortable. My ears hurt whenever I’ve used headphones or ear buds in the past. These headphones seem much easier on the ears and the eardrums. I use them to watch tv every night for hours after my wife falls asleep on the couch. I have to recharge them every couple of weeks.

Great sound
I got these because I fly a lot for work. Sometimes flights can be so overstimulating with all the noise. These have been a great purchase that helps me relax a lot more when on planes.I also love these for going on walks because of the aware mode that allows me to pay attention to my surroundings.I also plan to use these when I start going to the gym because we all know gyms usually don’t play the best music. lol
