    FITBIT 6

I have been using Fitbit for years. When I have had an issue, the company usually addresses the problem or sends me a new one. My husband wanted me to get an Apple Watch & I keep saying NO, I like the slim look & feel of the Fitbit. Thank you!

    Missing pieces

The fitbit itself works great and was easy to set up. Upon opening the box, I did not receive the screen protectors. It’s not the end of the world.. I don’t need them to make it work, but I paid for the whole shebang and didn’t get them.

    BUYER BEWARE!

This product comes from a third party manufacturer. Fitbit refuses to warranty the product even though I only had it two weeks because of this. I returned it to Amazon because I don’t trust the quality of a repair or replacement.

    Good product

I wish fitbit, now Google, would stop ripping off the consumers by modifying the wristbands with every new model. The Charge 5’s band is hard to use. But the watch itself is great.

Works great, just not a fan of such a small footprint

Had the larger Fitbit and loved it, but after about 3 years, it stopped taking a charge. This works great and does all it’s supposed to do, but just not a fan of the size and style. In addition, I prefer a bright white band and the band it comes with is a dingy khaki like color…just looks dirty. I have ordered additional bands to “try and like it” and just don’t like the style.

Sent wrong size bonus band and original band keeps popping off after it clicks in

I have had 2 Fitbit previously and have been pleased with them. I bought this package due to having 2 different bands and numerous accessories. The pink band that was in the package was the larger size than the black band and is too large to wear. Also, the black band periodically will detach from the top clasp for no reason at all. Luckily I have felt it when it detaches. After researching the band detaching, it is a common flaw that people have been complaining about.

    Didn’t Last 6 months!!!

This product has trouble syncing to the fitbit app. It is currently saying that the date is 12/26 and it’s 5:06am – it’s currently 12/27 and 2:08 PM. It’s done this before and I was able to get it to sync, but that was a one time thing…I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! The return window closed in August…Bummer, cause that’s a lot of money to piss away.

I CANNOT CONNECT THIS TO MY GOOGLE account to get premium. UPDATE a new tech got it working.

I CANNOT CONNECT THIS TO MY GOOGLE account therefore can’t get the paid updates. FRUSTRATED . I even changed my Gmal password and got a confirmation it’s been changed AND WORKS but when I put it in the FITBIT APP it says the password is WRONG. My Google account does not find this device. I’m so frustrated after hours of trying to resolve this that I’m ready to return it and give up on FITBIT. Their tech support was USELESS. UPDATE: GOT A DIFFERENT TECH SUPPORT AND THIS TIME IT WORKED. I”m updating my stars. THANK YOU. I do love they have TECH SUPPORT EASY TO CALL and get help. UPDATE: Connected to google account BUT the green light to do heart monitor NOT WORKING. Finally got so FRUSTRATED by all the PROBLEMS that I returned it to AMAZON yesterday !!! Got a Samsung smart watch instead.

Bought this for my husband for Father’s Day which was in June 2023 a little over 3 month ago. He put it on the charger took it off the next morning (yesterday) and this picture is the only thing it does. Want do anything through the app or by tapping the watch. Expensive for 3 month. Anyone know what to do?

    Fitbit Charge 5

I’ve owned Fitbits and Samsung watches prior. This has a nice battery that lasts and health features. It seems like it is a little more accurate than my old Samsung watch. Of course, this doesn’t have the calling features or selected notifications. I will say, I find it slightly annoying that all notifications that my phone receives gets sent to my Fitbit, I am unable to pic and choose. It’s kinda of annoying to get news story notifications on my phone. I like to narrow down my notifications on my watch to more important notifications not just blanket everything. I like the bundle, but the original bands are wide. I ended up ordering separate bands that were more narrow. I also, enjoyed that the watch was lighter weight and less bulky in general.

    An Elegant Watch.

An Elegant Watch. This is Fitbit Charge 5 Bundle – Advanced Fitbit Fitness Tracker Watch with Heart Rate Monitor, 2 Screen Protectors, Extra Bands, & Cloth – Fit Bit Watches for Women & Men with GPS, Black/Graphite.It was easy to set up the app with an iPhone, and easy to learn the interface of the watch, it worked perfectly as expected. You can customize the watch face by holding the center of the watch face. It is very easy that you can change the temperature from C to F weight from Kg to Lbs or distance from Km to Miles by using the app. It’s really smart because can get phone calls and message notifications, track your vitals, and track your activity level. There are many features/modes such as tracking your all-day steps, Heart Rate Monitor, Blood pressure Monitor, Exercise time, Outdoor Running, Walking, etc.Package Including:👉 1 x Advanced GPS Fitness Tracker Watch👉 1 x Extra Watch bands👉 2 x Screen Protectors👉 1 x Cloth👉 1 x Smart Watch Charger👉 1 X User ManualPros 👍:✅ Easy to set up.✅ Multi-function modes.✅ Various watch faces to choose from.✅ Good Quality / Construction.✅ Reminder with vibration.✅ Call/Message Notification.✅ Good Battery life with normal use.✅ Screen Protectors✅ Sleep Monitor✅ Comfortable to Wear✅ Easy to Read Screen in daylightCons 👎:❌ Can not make or answer callsI like the quality of the construction. Very easy to set up without any issues. The battery life is very good so far by using normal features (I will update this review after a couple of weeks if anything changes). It deserves 4.5 ⭐️Stars. Hope you find this review and video/pictures helpful. The only drawback I found is that I can’t make/answer calls but call / message notification works fine. Good Fitness Tracker.

The Fitbit Charge 5 seems to be having massive troubles since the most recent firmware update 194.61. On the Fitbit website Community Product Help forums for the Charge 5 reports of bricked devices, the screen no longer responding or the battery is draining too fast with Charge 5s. I would recommend creating a Fitbit account and looking at the forums before committing to Fitbit right now. Well, I gritted my teeth and decided to update the firmware anyway. It took about 15 minutes and everything went well. The charge 5 is working but with firmware 57.20001.188.58. So I am not sure if they backed up the firmware or what but, it is working as advertised now. This bundle adds very little as opposed to the Charge 5 alone. That being said, I like this tracker. You will need to go online and make a Fitbit account and download the manual and probably watch a few YouTube videos to get it setup but once it is setup it is great. I have it linked to my Etekcity Smart Digital Bathroom Scale and my VZFit VR Stationary Bike with the Oculus Quest 2. There are many fitness trackers from Fitbit and many other manufacturers but this is a good choice.

seems to FitBit as expected, extra bands are nice, screen protectors decent

As for function, well it works. If you’ve used one before then you know this is just an updated version over older ones, but this is my first. All the features work as they should thus far. It has tracked my sleep and other activities very well. It even has given my AlivCor meter a run for its money on the ECG checking! The one and only thing I dislike about the device itself is now the band fastens. The end tucks in under the overlapping band which causes it to press into my wrist and I just don’t like how it feels. And it is generally a bit awkward to shove in there when the thing is decently tight. Otherwise good to go!Overall I give it 4 stars because of the strap discomfort, but that’s just me and your mileage may vary.

    I like it but..

Love the new watch aesthetically.. but the cannot get over the major difference between this series and the one before. The side button that takes you to the Home Screen. It’s so frustrating to not be able to navigate home and you just have to sit there scrolling. It’s even worse when you accidentally start a workout timer and all you’re trying to do is click off the screen.. insanely frustrating. I really wish they had preserved the functionality of the last series with the sleekness of this series.

    Very sleek.

I love the sleek, minimal design. It’s not clunky at all and the fact that it doesn’t stick up high means I’m not getting it caught on a whole bunch of things. The transition between screens is very smooth, nothing glitches at all! It’s all very seamless and smooth. I’m a touch suspicious of all of the things it’s supposed to be able to track – like hydration? I never added any info about hydrating so I’m not sure how it decided that I was hydrating well.. but other than that, I enjoy the activity tracker and that it connects very easily to my phone. I like having the option to switch out my bands as well.

Mediocre, at best… for the serious athlete, anyway. 😬

Well, I have used this tracker for about a month now, and I have put it through its paces. Or, I guess I should say “through the paces that it can withstand”… 😉I am a beast when it comes to my fitness… and a perfectionist. And, while this Charge 5 may be okay for the “weekend warrior” or the mild-mannered sports-recreationalist, it simply can’t measure up to a more serious athlete’s needs… 😏The accuracy of the various metrics measures from very poor to okay… rarely good… and never great or excellent. A couple of examples: The sleep tracker says I go to bed two to three hours later than I actually do every night. Total step-count is also inaccurate at the end of most days, as hand/arm movements are often and erroneously counted as steps… 🙄The heart-rhythm assessment seems to be accurate, along with the resting/mild-activity heart-rate and the walking/running step-counter (when walking or running as a specific workout)…The “thoughtfulness” measurement seems to be somewhat of a gimmick. The touch-screen sometimes freezes and becomes unresponsive at the most inopportune moments. The built-in GPS works well and is a definite plus, but sometimes takes a couple of minutes to connect…And, now, for my biggest and most major “beef” with this tracker: It just can’t handle the steep, sharp swings in heart-rate changes when doing interval-training… or even basic strength-training. It VERY OFTEN loses contact with heart-rate detection. And, this is SUPER FRUSTRATING!!! 👎🏻😤It seems to do all right in heart-rate zones 1 through 3, as long as you gradually increase or decrease your pace. But, when abruptly jumping to zones 4 or 5, it just can’t keep up…When I look down at my wrist, at whatever point in my exercise, I want to see my EXACT and PRECISE heart rate in/at that very second. And, in that regard, the Charge 5 fails miserably… 😑And, once it loses contact with heart-rate detection in those zones, it can sometimes take anywhere between two and five minutes to actually reconnect and recalibrate. And, for those of us who know, that amount of time is a virtual millennium in zone 4… and an absolute eternity in zone 5! Completely unacceptable… 🤦🏻‍♂️Long story short… I need something that can “shift gears” like a Ferrari. And, this thing handles more like a Volkswagen Beetle. So, this tracker is mediocre to satisfactory for mild-to-moderate, general tracking… and for sure better than some of those super cheap knock-offs floating around out there. But, unfortunately, that’s about it…I can’t say I’m completely disappointed with the Charge 5. But, I had expected much more from Fitbit, given their long-standing (and seemingly positive) reputation within the fitness world…Overall, 3.4 stars…

Good FitBit Charge 5 bundle. Make sure you’re aware of Terms and Conditions: for persons 13+ only!

FitBit Charge 5 is a good fitness tracker:- nice comfortable design.- excellent battery life.- the kit includes an extra white bracelet in addition to default black bracelet; and extra strip for bigger arms. Good fit for any arm size – super-small or super-big.- installation process is easy; tracker would take about 10 minutes to update, then works great right after.- tracker arrived pre-charged at 100% charge. One issue that affects me that the License Agreement requires that a person using this device to be at least 13+ years old in United States. This is due to personal / medical data storage and Privacy Laws. You also MUST use Google Account now, since signing up for new FitBit account is no longer possible. In FitBit account previously you could subscribe with FitBit account and enter whatever age, but that’s no longer possible with Google Account. Assuming that you entered right age in Google Account – you won’t be able to activate it for a child. So, legally, you can’t use it for a child.. unless you activate it under your own account, or create a new Google Account with bogus birthday.

This fitness monitor just simply works.

I’ve had smart watches that were also touted as being fitness trackers, that worked well enough, mostly, but they tended to be fiddly and, some, just weren’t accurate. This Fitbit, on the other hand, is very simple to use, heart rate accuracy, comparing it with my chest strap during workouts, while it lags slightly, is right on point. The sleep measurement seems accurate, but I don’t have expensive equipment to do a direct comparison to.Mostly, the best part, along with the accuracy of the various metrics, is that it simply does the job. It’s not fiddly. You have the bracelet/tracker/watch and the app. The app updates/syncs with the device when you go into the app. It properly keeps track of over a period of time.I am using the 6 month freebie, premium application and will decide, in a few months, if it’s worth paying for a subscription.5 stars. Accurate. Not fiddly. It does it’s job without fuss. Comfortable to wear all the time.

This design is NOT ideal for a small wrist or for other exercise that doesn’t register

Overall, I am disappointed in the Fitbit. I made a full effort to wear it 24-7 for a few weeks. It hurt the top of my wrist, after a week my skin itched under the band. I took it off for a few days and put it back on just during the day. I wanted to wear the white band at times, but it is NOT designed for a small wrist. So the only option was the black one for me.The instructions are not helpful at all; especially for someone new to Fitbit. The company seems to assume everyone has always owned one. It wasn’t easy to setup and activate. It also forces you to the paid option on a trial basis. I didn’t see the value in the paid service, especially for the price and the amount of data they are collecting on each person that owns one. I feel the price is too high for current design. I do like the charger, it is pretty neat and works well. The battery did last close to a full week, so that part was good.I didn’t figure out how to use everything on the watch. The bluetooth and GPS on the phone needs to be on all the time.I normally don’t leave mine on all the time and I don’t like to be wired for sound all the time, that is not healthy. It is ok for a week or so to capture data on your sleep patterns. But I wasn’t comfortable sleeping with it on consistently. The device is limited on how and what it tracks when it comes to exercise. This isn’t really for gardening, yoga or most of the workouts I do. It appear mainly for runners, walkers, maybe hiking. I couldn’t figure out how to help it recognize I was exercising at the start of each time. One longer walk, it picked up on its own.It needs a lot of improvements as far as a comfortable design for a small wrist. And to better help people new to the Fitbit. It didn’t always recognize the finger tapping or swipping across the watch front either.

Wow, I wish I had this sooner!

So I have the Apple Watch and honestly just sick of having to recharge it every 2nd day. I saw this, read the reviews and decided to get it. I am soooooo happy with it. Not only is it easy to see how many steps I take in a day but it’s not bulky looking. I’m not techy at all but I’ve learned a lot on how to use this watch by watching youtube videos. The charge on this watch almost lasts a week so battery is far more superior than the apple watch.I did knock of one star because of the waterlock feature it’s not very responsive and this seems to be a common problem.I love this product!

Everything is good but HATE the monthly subscription

Fitbit tries to charge for similar data that pretty much all other fitness watch brand offers for free which is really disappointing given the device itself if pretty capable and has tons of useful functions.

    Surprised

I wasn’t sure what I was going to get when I ordered this. When I received it I opened it up and tested out everything. Everything worked fine and didn’t have any issues.

    Really great gift set

We really like the fit bit charge. Especially as a gift, this is a great set so that the person can choose the right band for their wrist. My husband decided not to use the screen protectors because they are REALLY thick. He likes this watch style because it is less bulky than a lot of other choices. This gift set also comes with a trial subscription to Fitbit premium features which is a nice introduction to the product. The battery life on this watch is amazing. It’s a full 7 days. The accuracy is fair, but not perfect. Overall, he likes this watch best of the 3 different smart watches he’s had so far.

I got this for my husband.

My husband does not wear watches and such but since he was in the hospital we needed a way to monitor his heart while at home. This works and keeps track of his heart rate. We can open the app and see the history which the nurses that come out need to see.

    Bundle makes a great gift

Fitbit Charge 5 bundle has two wrist bands, two screen protectors, cleaning cloths, 6 months of premium membership and charging cord. I like the bundle as it makes a nice gift set for any age and any reason, but especially if you are encouraging someone’s fitness journey.I always seem to like the little touches in packages like this and the screen protectors are that extra something that I like. I have had many tidbits over the years and never use the screen protector. I hike and do a lot of outdoor activities, so my watches develop scratches pretty quickly. Having the screen protector keeps the watch face looking nice. Also, that’s easy to remove so that when you want a more slim and elegant look to your watch, you can take the screen protector off, and Fitbit won’t seen as bulky.Definitely recommend

    Great battery life and screen

The first thing I noticed about this fitbit is that the screen is much brighter than the older generation that I had. It has a decent battery life that lasts me about 5 days with daily cardio and weight lifting. I also swim sometimes, and found out I had to turn on the water lock feature for this watch which isn’t a big deal. I don’t think it would hurt if you forgot to turn it on, but the feature is for peace of mind. The watch band is comfortable. There are certain features of this app that I didn’t love as much. If you want all the bells and whistles such as getting the best time to workout given your body physiology, it would require a paid subscription. Overall the tracking and GPS features are free. It was very accurate tracking my workouts.

    Love it

I am the kind of person who needs motivation. This motivates me to walk more, sleep better, drink more water etc. I love the extra bonus, it connects to my Google account. I can see my text, emails and I can find my phone. Lots of neat things this watch can do.

    Great for health conscious

I got this watch as a gift for my father. It was super easy to set up. All I had to do was download the app, set up the Bluetooth and answer a few questions in the app.He loves it because he can see who is calling him on the watch, and he receives texts, in addition, and tracks his steps and his heart rate and his sleep. It has a sleek look and the battery stays full for a few days.

Great fitness tracker bundle for the price

This is an upgrade from an Inspire 2. Set up was very easy, and this set includes everything I need with bands, cable, etc. It holds a charge well and has good battery life. I like the bigger screen that makes it much easier to read text messages plus other things. I haven’t yet started taking advantage of all the features available to me. It does all the basics well and I’m happy with it.

    Great Fitness Tracker

i have had this Fitbit tracker for almost a year now. the accuracy to my daily BMR, exercise calorie calculations, and sleep habits are the main features i cherish. being able to maintain/lose/gain weight when needed solely by calculating off of my tracker makes food prep and trips easier for me. battery life is great, getting 7ish days while still getting most of my notifications through it is amazing. the extra gray band is great. the screen protectors are helpful, though i would prefer the tablet/cellphone stick on type, these can get water/sweat trapped and then cause issues with controlling the tracker. overall, this is a great Fitbit with a great price!

    Really helpful device

The media could not be loaded.

Was torn on which device to get to track my health progress until I landed on this fitbit. So far, I’m extremely happy with it, you can set it up on Android or Apple systems- just need to download the app.And once it is hooked to your cellphone you can even do more monitoring, including your stress levels and sleeping habits. My favorite such far is the help tracking my fitness level- it keeps me motivated!

    I love FITBIT

I recently purchased the Fitbit Charge 5 to replace my 4. The piece of plastic that the band attaches to on the 4 broke, I crazy glued it and it stayed, but for how long….so I just upgraded. I did a lot of research between the fitbit 5 and a comprable Garmin, it finally came down to me checking consumer reports and the fitbit was higher rated. The differences between the 4 and 5 were truly noticeable as soon as I turned the 5 on. The colors are great, which means I can actually read the time when I”m walking even without my glasses, which is a win for me. I noticed it no longer trackes flights of stairs climbed, which was okay with me as my 4 started getting very wonky on that. Since I already had the APP loaded on my phone it was very easy to connect my 5 to my current account and I was off and running. I find the charger a little weak, as it seems like the slightest bump and will stop charging if not fully attached, but so far so good, I charge mine while in the shower, and since I do that I cannot comment on the water resistence of the 5. I’m not crazy about the band, it at times can be hard to get closed and of course I bought the bundle with 2 addtional bands that I won’t like, but until I replace them with something better, they will do the job.I use map my walk while walking and also have the GPS turned on in the fitbit app and I do noticed about a half mile difference when I’m done doing what I know is a good 5 miles, but this may be I don’t have my step length set correctly. I did find that it seems to not capture my entire workout so I usually have to edit the time and then it updates with all the data, again, could be the placement on my wrist. All in all, this is my 3rd fitbit, so obviously, I like them and they work well, this as most trackers are not always 100% accurate, but it gives me piece of mind that I’m working out at the proper level and keeping my heart rate elevated, which is part of the point of working out.Had money not been an issue, I probably would have gone with an Apple Watch, but fitbit it is for a few more years.
