Health watch for Wife
The product works as advertised and the wife is happy with the product even though not the “NAME BRAND”. Has synced with phone, etc.Dislike:Cannot swap out bands with other bands sold on the market. God forbid we have universal bands out there. So now I have to bring to a watch store to look for a band that fits. Don’t order the name brand bands thinking they will fit on this off brand. You will be pissed when it doesn’t fit!

I was carrying around my watch just to count my steps, but watch is great. It also counts my heart rate, and resting heart rate. I only have one complaint. I have skinny wrists, so I have to wear it to tight to get a good reading.

Can’t make calls or read messages
It’s great for keeping track of steps, sleep, o2, and so on. Unfortunately I can not make calls from it, does not always alert me of messages and when it does I can not read them 😞 that was one of the options I was looking for in a health watch. It’s not really user friendly.

Disappointed
I’ve only had this for 2.5 months. I loved it at first but unfortunately it’s not working. It turns on but will no longer pair with my phone. The screen only has the scan option to join the app which I had and was working perfectly. The watch is frozen and won’t reset, or even show the time of day. Can’t return it because the return window closed for me. I would had invested my $70 into something that worked.

Charger stopped working
So for the most part this watch is great. It has some many ways of tracking different activities like sit-ups, jump rope. You receive text messages. Connecting to the phone was fairly simple and the battery holds up pretty well because I turn it off when I sleep.The only problem is, the charger stopped working after charging it twice… thankfully I have a previous watch charger otherwise it would’ve been a complete waste of money.I gave it a 3 because even though the features are great, how are you going to enjoy it if it dies and you can’t recharge it.

Customer care is fairly unresponsive.
I like the fact that I can actually make a call or receive a call from my watch. It apparently has a GPS connection for tracking activities such as biking, running, etc. but I have not been able to figure out how to connect my watch to it. Sent them a message and haven’t heard back. Nice bright watch face is easy to read.

Strong alternative to Fitbit
I ordered this as a replacement for my Fitbit HR Charge. This is a decent product for some functions; steps appear to be accurate, functionality is good, and the charge lasts a long time. The bluetooth is not strong; I have to have a really good wireless connection for the phone call and text message notification to appear. The notifications always appeared on my old Fitbit and this watch is just not a good replacement for that function.My big pet peeve is the watchband. It is so large that I have to put it in the next to last hole to make it smaller. A tiny tab of the other end of the band is supposed to snap into the body of the band, and then slide into the loop on the band. The little plastic tab that is supposed to snap into the holes in the band is too short and does not hold. The loop keeps sliding around and then the edge of the band just flops. I am past the return period so I guess I will keep it but very disappointed in the band. For the money, the watch is OK.

Healthy choice
This smart watch was easy to set up and operate. I can monitor my heart and I love the reminders to drink water or go for a walk. I especially love being able to answer the phone on the watch without having to find the phone.

I honestly don’t even know where to begin….. This is better than the fitbit’s I have owned and I have owned a total of four different type of fitbit’s. This is ultimately has a lot of the qualifications of a Apple watch which one of my BFFs have and she could not believe all the similarities of the Apple watch she has. I first was afraid it wasn’t charging but it does charge. Make sure. Obviously it’s plugged into an outlet that works and it’s magnetic. I’ve never seen a charging station like that. It’s magnet that plugs in back of the watch. This is one of the greatest buys ever. I will order some extra bands at a later time, but for right now the pale pink it comes with is extremely nice. Nice. Obviously better for women than men lol but I have found on the Amazon site the bands for this watch and I think it was like 6:00 or 8:00 and it totaled $11 maybe. Great bye it looks good. It works well. I worked out this morning and it also keeps accurate steps which I wore the old Fitbit for the first week. I think I’ve been wearing it since September 18th. Anything changes I’ll let you guys know but otherwise a great deal. Great features!

Off Brand watch like Apple
Have had this watch a couple of weeks. Upgrade form fitbit charge 4. I didn’t want to pay $200 + dollars for a watch. I own a Samsung phone. I took a chance on this one that I had never heard of and so far it’s working great. App was easy to use and it has a lot of great features including Alexa and phone answer. It is water resistant but not for swimming and I take off in shower since it has a speaker. I have monitored a couple of walks and the distance seems right. I will check it with my watches gps on my health app next time to see if it’s different. It looks nice on and very similare to Apple. The only down I have for it so far is that the watch bands are limited due to the way it hooks on to the watch. It wasn’t easy at first to attach where my fit bit was super easy. I wish they were all made the same way. There are many bands I would like to get. There are a few and some of the clasps seem to look easier as I don’t like the buckle closure. Otherwise for the price point it seems a great watch and I would recommend for anyone wanting some features , not heavy into fitness accuracy and wants to save some serious cash.

a nice smart watch.
We have been walking a lot. I wanted something to help keep my steps. I like that it has so much to offer. I check my sleep, the weather, I can answer calls & talk on it. I haven’t figured everything out yet. I wanted a Blood pressure monitor. this doesn’t have it, it does track my heart rate & stress level .. I haven’t wore it in the water. I don’t think I will, but it is made too.. all in all a nice watch so far

Is Really an Ok Watch Reality, Required app A VERY BAD very CONFUSING very fit app’ Not Worth it
I have owned this watch SKG for almost a year now. The Watch is self dose function Very Well as, yep~ a ‘Watch’! The battery life can fluctuate drastically depending on several different ways of How you make ALL kinds of settings or changes, (took me about 3 months to figure that part out), was Very confusing to set up and use Most of the Displays (to my device) and information is in Very TINY images or graphs, even screen turning to side dose not enlarge the image, making it VERY Difficult. (as Most images will get a little bigger display) many times. I have Attempted to communicate this, to the “contact customer support” in the app, regarding feedback and or concerns to an ‘ A.-I.’ C. Service. With only one time, a computer replied, it was so tiny- I tried to and could not ‘pinch the screen to enlarge it, (as most will) didnt work? Had to Use a Magnifying Glass to actually read it? Really? That TINY print was so CRYPTIC I really did not understand it? How to you say “Huh?” to a computer? Furthermore, the Stats are “Very Difficult” to look at, (especially for Elderly Visually Challenged folks, such as many of elderly are), in comparisons over time of something, (heart rate, exercise sleep ect), Seems to me, I’ve had to Update or reboot this app more that I recall any other app I use on a regular or daily basis, Why? this app that is designed to work with this for health readings called “Very Fit” this is where the ‘Mud of confusion’ continues to ‘ooze’, – Along with being Bombarded by ‘very fit app’ to use, try or buy the watch face design optional faces, (fair enough it’s a free app) – It crashes a lot and I am constantly having to Refresh the app every time I look at, (before someone blames my device, I will say I dont have Any other apps hardly this Finicky. Today, Jan. 27’th, 2024. The very fit app has Locked me Out of my data and information Regarding MY Health Stat pages BLOCKING ME. On account, “I Don’t Agree” (my Right) Way TOO confusing” Keeping me from My info, data (That I am relaying to my medical folks as I am in the middle of multiple surgeries), (even though) I fully aware and understand it is not medically solid (for various ‘reasonable’ reasons) Though It Dose and Has shown helpful and useful patterns going on in my health, those who can take, (willing medical providers) to consider- watch (no pun intended). Now the very (confusing) fit app is FORCING me to MUST agree to the latest “terms and Conditions that scrolls on 20 ITEMS PROVISIONS? ? and on are SO MUCH Confusing Things I MUST agree to (I guess in order to use their app) because I keep hitting instead of the desired, (i agree) = to “I Do NoT AGREE” and the very fit app is Locking Me OUT of My OWN HEALTH Information. Now I see that as a “Pure HEPPA Violation”! very fit app is Holding My information Hostage Forcing me to MUST agree to Their Terms and Conditions that FAVOR them somehow some way, a legal and binding thing (worded by Lawyers) some way and gives me Less. By the way there is an email address shown and highlighted in blue. “”Email to “ido@ idocn.com””(at the bottom of that long long list of Obligations, I must agree to), Entitled #21: “Contact us” at the bottom of mandatory agreement page of T & C’s, to write to should I have any questions and or concerns, And Yep, I got em! I Believe I have a case. This is MY “Heppa information” (Not theirs to keep) regarding the stats of MY INDVIUAL READINGS that may, could Very well Help with Important health concerns I am dealing with right now. As I am Tried of being FORCED TO HAVE to agree to things I dont understand or agree question feel much more Insecure and Vulnerable of my Personal Information Regardless what they say – promise (how do I prove a leaK?) Offers A Lot for the Price – Maybe Too Much
It looks like a Apple on your wrist. The quality in the workmanship is visible. I’ve had mine for about 2 weeks now. It’s comfortable, the time and date is accurate and never needs a battery or winding. Rechargeable battery lasts about a week or so and recharges via USB. The software App for the phone was a little disappointing. It seemed to be vague and written to be a “1 size fits all models” kind of app. The Bluetooth often disconnects itself intermittently from my phone and needs re-pairing. I could not get the SLEEP monitoring to work. Often at night, with the watch on my wrist literally inches from the phone, it would not track or record my sleep profile, or it would un-pair from bluetooth – disappointing! I was able to make and accept phone calls on my watch if my phone was nearby; but could not get text messaging to work. The Weather feature does not update regularly during the day – it gives the same temp and conditions, and does not refresh for up to 8 hours. The Music control feature is not really useful. It only controls music played on your cell phone if its nearby. You probably wouldn’t want to listen to music on the tiny SmartWatch speakers any way. I’m a big fan of Alexa, so this model, SKG V7 PRO, is worth the modestly higher price to get built-in Alexa. If it did not have Alexa, I may have decided it was not useful enough to keep. Heart rate tracking seemed to work well. Pulse Ox gave a reading, but I don’t know how accurate it was. Overall, it looks nice and there is a lot of features for the price, but in daily use it doesn’t shine as brightly and is not as functional as the elaborate advertisements portray.

The watch stopped working. The customer: support@skg.com does not respond to request.
I purchased this smart watch product in February 2023 and it stopped working after 6 months. The touch screen became unresponsive. The SKG web site touts a 1 year warranty but will not respond to the the given email (support@skg.com). I sent several messages, it confirms “your message has been sent”, but no response on any of my requests after several weeks. l called Amazon and all they could give me was the SKG store email which I already had and then offered me a customer phone number which connected me to a service center that tried to sell me a Life Line devise. Truly incredible, never seen any thing like it. There is absolutely no way to reach this company.Update 10/4/2023Still no response after 5 weeks and several messages. They have no way to reach them by email phone. Worst customer service arrangement I have ever encountered. The watch is ok for the price and you get lucky and don’t need any support but if it dies on you like mine did don’t count on any type of support if it is outside the 30 Amazon return window.Update 11/22/2023My service request was finally taken care of around the first of Nov. It just took them a long time to finally respond. SKG sent me a new replacement watch which is working fine. Just don’t know why they took so long to respond to emails and don’t appear to have a phone contact or any other way to reach them other than email. Overall, the watch is good for the price. I took off one star for the poor response time on the service request.

One major drawback
I bought these for myself, my wife, and our daughter. It’s so comfortable I constantly forget I’m wearing it and find myself reaching for my old watch to strap it on. Many of the basic features seem to work well. The “Cons” list is brief:The lift hand to read option is flaky, even exaggerated arm movements might not activate the display, while turning over in bed can repeatedly activate the display providing unwanted light. When it does work, it goes off too quickly to read everything on the watch face in one go.I’d have to say the sleep tracking is a fail. I’ve had some terrible nights with constant tossing and turning reported as “Good” or even “Great” when I know better!It’s too easy to inadvertently select activity tracking, and not very easy to turn it back off and return to normal display.The biggest problem was for my daughter. She can’t wear hers because she appears to be allergic to whatever the material in the watchband is. I’m not sure if it’s latex, or not, but whatever it is, it makes her wrist break out. The problem is exacerbated, by the fact that there is no indication that the watchband can be replaced, as it seems to fit differently from typical watches.

It’s an okay smartwatch, but its more advanced features are hit/miss.
I was looking for a smartwatch with a few specific features. These included:1. a silent haptic alarm (because there’s no reason for my wife to wake up when I get up)2. heart rate monitoring that could potentially be compatible with my exercise apps, especially Strava3. Alexa integration (“remind me to do this when I get home” is a common scenario for me…)I had to buy this thing and try it out to determine that:(1) the alarm is not silent and cannot be made silent. Or even just not deafening. Sorry wifey, cats… and neighbors. If you put your hands under your head when you sleep, DO NOT use the alarm or you may wake up deaf.(2) it measures my heart rate but doesn’t seem to share it to anything else. Eh? Why doesn’t this support the Bluetooth Heart Rate Profile standard?(3) Alexa integration is convenient, but highly unstable. Not sure if this is the device, the app, or my phone, but it works one moment and then fails the next.A lot of the things one generally expects from smartwatches these days work as well as one might expect: music control, notifications (phone calls, texts…), step counting. I can’t comment on step-count, spo2, or sleep detect accuracy but it’s all there and appears to at least work.Automatic brightness controls always seems to be too bright at night and not bright enough during the day.The watch’s flashlight, on the other hand, is strangely dim at night.This may sound lame, but props to the manufacturer for using a standard magnetic 2-pin usb charger rather than having yet another specialty charging interface for this one specific gadget.

Solid performer. A few quirks, but still a good buy.
Solid watch for the price. Features generally function well. Like the always on display, and battery still holds up for several days. Screen is plenty bright, I always leave in 20% brightness.It does have some weird quirks. The notifications it sends to the phone will make your phone go nuts. Got up in the middle of the night and the notifications on the phone wouldn’t shut off. Woke everyone up in the house. Not sure if they are badges or what they are, but there is an impractical amount of notifications to the phone. Sometimes the phone goes nuts, but does not tell you what the notification is. I finally had to disable the app notifications.The sleep app doesn’t provide much detail and is not very smart. If you get up in the middle of the night, it assumes that you really weren’t sleeping. It only records the last part of your sleep. It will show only 1.5 hours of sleep, even though I slept for 6 hours before getting up to use the restroom.I don’t know if I trust the O2 reading. I have one on my phone that has been tested several times against the one in my doctors office. My phone is dead accurate. This one on my watch sometimes reads low.Overall this watch is in a different class than my previous cheapo 50 dollar watch. Not quite as refined as my Garmin watch, but pretty close.

How do I get started?
I was confused, at first. It told me to download the app VeryFit for my phone, which I did. Then I was told to create my free account and verify it with a credit card. The last time I read anything like that it resulted in SPAM being charged to my card. Then I saw that the app was by Norton, a company I stopped using many years ago because while I was using it, my computer was hacked and Norton refused to do anything about it, or offer to restore my computer, or even apologize for it having happened.Against my better judgement and supposing I couldn’t use my new watch without complying, I entered my name, password, and credit card number. They said my card number could not be used by their company, suggesting I use a different card. Noticing that somehow the year had been removed from the expiry date, I reentered the year and tried it again. It was refused a second time, claiming that the website I was trying to access could not be found!What do I do now? Should I return the watch unused? Do I have to contact the manufacturer on a phone line that doesn’t work, from my cell phone that will likely not be accepted, or what??

The band is small and the Oxygen percentage is a full 10% too high which makes it useless
The band barely fit my wrist. I had to dig on the makers site to find an option to purchase larger bands. Overall it’s a bit confusing. Hopefully the flow from one reading to another will go better as I learn. I expected a bit more, it just doesn’t look like a serious medical device.The biggest issue for me, with COPD, is the oxygen readings. My readings run between 88 to 92 on average using quality readers and in doctors offices. This device ranges from 97% to 99% and that is a good 10% off! Useless. I’ll write again when I get the larger band and spend a bit more time getting to know the device.I got the “larger band”. It was accurate. It was a “larger band”, however, it was about 1/8th in larger and a good 3/8 at the end has no holes. So in practice, it’s shorter. In the end though, it doesn’t matter. I’ve set up a return on the watch. The sensor part irritates my skin, maybe because it’s too tight but it annoys enough to remove the watch. The screen flashes on in bed at night when I’m monitoring my sleep pattern. There needs to be a screen blanking feature. The sleep study, by the way, works well. In summary, The watch seems to be for skinny people that are devoted to exercise. The health functions are of little value for the rest of us. The SPo2 function is useless. In fact it’s dangerous. Telling people they have 97% of their normal blood oxygen when they really have 87% is dangerous enough to remove this from the market. The heart rate was off quite a bit too but not enough to alarm people. Back it goes. I’ll have to rethink how to read my O2 history.

Decent Watch but Frustrating Apps and NO Blood Pressure Monitoring
Overall, the watch looked great and was lightweight to wear. I admit this is my own fault for not looking more closely when purchasing, but contrary to many other health watches, this one does NOT have Blood Pressure monitoring which was a key monitor for me personally.The watch would lose BlueTooth connection to my phone quite frequently, which caused me to have to manually connect the watch again.The apps on the watch were a little frustrating to use, as the UI (User Interface) was not as simple as it could have been. Finding info in the apps was not very intuitive and it wasn’t always clear how to use a particular app.My biggest frustration, and I realize there could be a setting work-around for this, but whenever I would fold or cross my arms, the watch would interpret the screen touch from my arm as wanting to change the watch face. Essentially, I couldn’t fold or cross my arms without activating the watch.The watch is not horrible by any means, but simply didn’t meet the main needs I purchased the watch for.

Big, bright and light
Needed a replacement for a Fitbit Blaze to monitor VO2, pulse, and distance (steps/km) during workouts. After around a month, the battery is only down to 69% from the first charge, the large dial with brightness level adjustments are very easy to read while jogging, weightlifting or golf. The band is comfortable, does not pull the hair on my wrist and is easy to clean. One specification I still question and am hesitant to test is the IP68 waterproof which is a little less than five feet deep. If I do wear it when swimming I will add to this review. The touch-screen and buttons are easy to figure out after a few swipes and pushes. The app has worked well (iOS 16.4.1), paired and sends data quickly. I like the layout of the app tiles, providing the relevant data on the the home-screen, simple interfaces for control settings make this the perfect replacement. As I try other features, I will provide updates. This is good value for a good exercise watch for a casual athlete.

Great Smart Watch, Lacks Manual
So far, the SKG watch is functioning exceptionally well keeping track of most exercise and health features. Because the smartwatch does not come with a manual, site to look up problems, and the app just states problems with no solutions, I can’t solve the VO2 error message of “put on the device”. All other functions are operating and recording. The watch band is way too big for a 6 inch wrist thus a tight fit may be required to get the VO2 reading. For the price, I am happy with the watch with battery life more than a week. I charge it weekly with the lowest battery reading at 26% when I charged it again.

Lots of features
I purchased this watch two months ago and it’s serving my purpose for having it. The things I enjoy most about the smart watch:I’m able to capture my steps, heart rate, sleep hours, get up and move, answers calls, review text, exercise timer, and more….Cons:This watch does not capture as many steps as my Fitbit, and I’m not sure why the steps are off by so much.The battery life lasts maybe 3 days and then I would plug up to recharge.Overall, this phone was great for me.

Fool me once….
I bought this watch in late November. It worked for a while, but then it stopped charging. I returned it and received a replacement in late December. I should have just asked for my money back. The second one lasted just under two months and then stopped charging also. Since it lasted two months the return window had closed. The watch wasn’t bad itself, but if you can’t charge it before long what is the point? I tried everything to get the second one to work…I tried several different charging devices which work well all the time with other devices, so apparently the battery was bad. I have gone to a different watch seller. My new one does the same things as the other, but instead of paying 99 bucks for it I have just paid 47….

Did what was described.
I AM NOT TECH LITERATE! The watch did what is says it would do: answer and make calls, receive text previews, email and facebook previews. I’m sure the alexa and music stuff worked but I don’t do those things. I needed this for GroupMe at work. I couldn’t get that notification to come through. I also couldn’t figure out how to get from the home screen to the icon command screen without going through settings. Great fitness watch with bonus phone notifications and calls. Not great alternative to pulling phone out at work. Also, I’m using a Samsung A20 phone…old and cheap.
