Terrific and powerful little computer
It takes a bit of time to fully evaluate a computer, so I’m just going to give a first impression.Speed of processing is fantastic. Very quick with what I have done so far. Plenty of ports for attaching whatever you need. Quiet. I read one review stating a noisy fan. I had to look at mine to see if the fan was running and it was! Very cool after running for several hours.Only complaint so far is slight noise from speakers. This has been reported in an earlier review. I’ll try Bluetooth pods rather than cable connected speakers.I have not spent much time on this computer. I am very impressed with what I have seen so far. Give this computer serious consideration if you’re looking for an upgrade or replacing current PC. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised and happy with your purchase. I highly recommend Geekom.

Compact Powerful Mini PC
Bought this one to replace a business PC. I was aware of the reviews about the case fan and bought it anyways. It is louder than I was expecting it to be. Reached out to Geekom support and requested if there was a firmware update and how to flash the firmware tutorial. They provided both. I recommend using online videos to help learn how to update the system if the tutorial does not make sense. The fan was silent after I completed it. Took less than five minutes overall. Now, I only hear the fan when I play 4K videos. It stays quiet when watching 4K YouTube videos though.Best feature is how fast it boots up too. Less than 3 seconds and the mini is ready to begin working. Excellent system for a work PC, HTPC, or light gaming PC, as well.

Solid computer but fan noise! Updated
Just received a Mini IT 12. Works great and on my desktop BUT the fan kicks on full for any load. Even just sitting idle with no apps open. Already changed the bios to quiet mode. This makes it start out silent but the fan kicks on after a minute. I would return this if there is no fix. Hope their support can help me.Update: After only about a day Customer Service reached back out to me, my fault as I contacted the wrong group. They provided a BIOS solution to install and it works!! Now I can’t hear it under normal load and while surfing or watching videos.Great little machine , capable of playing Halo albeit not at the higher specs.For surfing and every day, it’s almost instantaneous. Boots to Win 11 in maybe 10 seconds.I’ll update again if anything changes but I like this.

This little PC has made my computer life so much easier.Lightning fast speed. I mean that, I have never had a PC so fast.It does anything I need it to do, instantly.Start up in seconds.Shutdown in seconds.Downloads and program setups like I have never experienced.I bought it on a Black Friday sale.It took almost 2 weeks to get and it was more than worth it.No negatives.

Video setting reset on both MS Windows and Linux
Every five or ten minutes, duel monitors switch from Extended back to mirrored. It does it on both MS Windows and Linux. Swapped out HDMI cables, but no difference. Contacted Geekom three days ago and no response. Sending it back on Monday if Geekom doesn’t respond by then.Update: got a response from Geekom this morning.Update: A MS Windows Update resolved the problem in Windows 11. I’m still having issues on Linux. I’m a Linux user 99% of the time, so it’s still a little frustrating. Furthermore, I no longer believe it’s a hardware issue, though. It looks like an Alder Lake-P GT1 Linux video driver issue. I changed my rating to 4 stars for that reason, and decided it is still a good value for the price.One additional comment, Geekom did an outstanding job designing the housing. It’s easy to open, and they put clips on the screws, preventing them from falling out. The physical layout inside is also well though out, making it easy to access or add components.It’s a lot of computers for the money. Let’s hope Intel gets their act together on the Linux side.Update: Still had video issues sporadically and waited too late to send it back to Amazon. Kept thinking it was a driver issue. Finally gave up and contacted Geekom support and asked for a replacement. They promptly sent me a new computer. The new one works great. Thanks Geekom for your support.

Small but powerful
Added 2 TB SATA and upgraded to 2TB PCIe SSD will eventually upgrade to 64 GB RAM but running 24/7 music w/video while doing everything I need to do there is no flutter, no buffering, games run smooth (MWIII, Starfield), streams flawlessly from MAX, Paramount plus and others… Actually, runs cooler (fairly constant 99 degrees) than my Acer Nitro 15″ laptop (127 degrees)… Intel I7 processor, Windows 11, multi-screens, comparable PC or laptop is well over $1000… Takes up hardly any space… This thing is the greatest invention since canned peanut butter… Will be getting one for my wife… No tech issues so I can’t give that rating, but it shipped quickly and free…

Shipped with non US plug
Was excited to try this out. Too bad it shipped with a NON US plug. It looks like there’s some notches for an adapter to be attached but this is TERRIBLE. This stuff if being sold in the US should be shipped with US only cords. Not things that need adapters. This is outrageous that any company wants to sell in NA market would package these things without US only cords.Went to manufacturer website but they are not in, no response. LIKELY GOING BACK.EDIT: geekom responded immediately and shipped me the correct plug after they returned from holiday. PC works great otherwise no issues.

Died in less than 2 months, but they fixed the situation
Purchased August 23rd and I really liked it because it performed great!…. for 2 months. Now it won’t turn on. It’s not the power cord so it’s something to do with the computer. I never upgraded the hardware, nor did I use any other power supply than the one provided. Not sure what happened- left it running, went to meet a client, came back to it 2 hours later and it was off and won’t turn back on. Right at this moment, their customer service sucks because you can’t get ahold of anyone right away- you have to wait for their email back or return your call (you have to leave a voicemail). We will see if it will be taken care of and I will update if they respond.Update: I was contacted by a person who handles their Amazon products directly and she was extremely responsive and helpful. I returned the one that died and received a full refund plus return shipping. I purchased their newer version (Mini IT13) and hopefully that one will hold up! So far it’s awesome and quieter than this one (maybe I just got a bad one).The only thing that is a little irritating is that they say in their literature that you need to use their power supply and can’t use a universal that has the same voltage but they don’t have anywhere to purchase an extra one nor will they sell you one if you contact them. Oh well, it is a great computer and I will be super happy if it holds up as long as my tower did (7 years and still running).

Great piece of small PC
I was impressed with the package. On opening, I found more than what I anticipated. The mini-PC worked fine from day one and there was no need to contact the Technical Support. Also, I received two emails from the Company, as to how I was doing, and they would do their best to resolve any issues. I am very much impressed with the size and capabilities of Geekom and I wish them the very best.

I so wanted to love this.
This thing was blazing fast for about 3 days. Now after 7 days programs lock up, have to reboot multiple times, video (HDMI) flickers, page and app loading is painfully slow. Refund request submitted.

Great idea, doesn’t work
We have purchased 11 of these machines. Two just flat out failed, i.e. hit the power button and nothing comes on. Verified that the power cords were working ok. A third the power cord failed. I reached out to Geekom support and received a notification that they would contact me after the weekend. Then crickets, i.e. no further communications from them so I have two paper weights.

New Computer Look
Still transferring data from an old laptop to my new computer, but so far working very well. Like the small footprint and NOT a lot of extra stuff (software) that I don’t want. I already had the monitor, speakers, keyboard, and mouse, so this was the right switch for me. I had considered an all-in-one, but after reviews and such, this made more sense to go with the mini set-up. Haven’t had to use the tech support yet.

Almost a year and PC still running strong! Customer support was great with the 1 minor issue I had.
My initial review was 2 stars due to a couple of problems. Also, I think I posted a review twice because I didn’t think the first went through. Sorry!First was my SATA ribbon cable broke and there was no where to get a replacement. So I contacted GEEKOM support.Second issue was GEEKOM support due to a month long of back and forths in emails between them and I. Although it seemingly took forever, I will give them credit as they were very active in replying to me and wanting to help resolve my issue.Unfortunately, they wanted to resolve my issue by replacing the WHOLE PC. I thought that was a bit extreme since I only needed a new SATA cable/adapter. Also, it would have meant I’d have to send my PC in first and wait for a replacement. This was my everyday PC and couldn’t go a week or two waiting on the handling, then shipping.Well, long story short, after about that month of back and forth with emails and explaining all this, GEEKOM support agreed to send me a replacement cable/adapter from the factory. In fact, they sent TWO! I was VERY HAPPY when they came in!THANKS GEEKOM CUSTOMER SUPPORT!

Did not increase speed when upgraded
This is a great little computer if you don’t do any gaming. For everyday use, it’s excellent. I upgraded my computer, and the $117.65 upgrade didn’t increase its speed at all. In fact, I don’t know what effect it had. This is the only reason I didn’t give it five stars.

I got this “Mini Computer, GEEKOM Mini IT8 Mini PC with i3-8109U(Up to 3.6 GHz)” to review. I’ve reviewed a couple of Mini PCs recently and this one has a good GPU performance. Here is the review.The good:- Lots of IO provided. USB-C + USB 3.0 in the front.- The graphic performance is actually quite surprisingly good. I was even able to run Genshin Impact at the lowest setting at 1080p. (see the demo video.)- Compact size. This mini-PC is one of the smallest.- Comes with 2 SODIMM slots with 1 installed. (RAM speed is locked at 2400)- Expandable with a single 2.5′ drive.Other thoughts:- The CPU is somewhat weak. The model (i3-8109U) is somewhat outdated and it scores poorly. When I was testing Genshin impact, the CPU was running at over 80% all the time and I got stutter from time to time.- Price seems a little bit high given the hardware.Summary:This PC is not perfect but I still give it a recommendation rating, given that its ability to play some light games. (Only 2 mini PC out of 8 I’ve reviewed is capable of running some games.) Perfect little workstation PC
This is certainly a nice little mini PC. As of selling in 2022, the CPU is outdated (gen 8 vs the current gen 12), but it is a i3 instead of a Celeron in a mini PC, so you get the extra CPU features not in the Celeron line, and has a bit more “oomph” compared to even current gen Celerons. This mini PC comes with everything you need to get it set up, including a VESA mounting bracket and even a carrying case. Opening up the mini PC to access the internals is very simple, just 4 screws on the bottom. Inside there are 2 SODIMM slots for RAM, a 2.5″ SSD bay and a 2280 M.2 NVMe slot.It comes with a Windows 11 Pro license and OS already installed, which is a great value. The license is embedded in the mini PC, so you can even do a clean install easy enough if you are so inclined.The power of this PC with the configuration here is great for a small workstation, for example web browsing, a shipping station, or similar. I have had this set up for a few weeks now as a shipping station that uses web browsing, UPS software, and inventory software with no issues and is an amazing upgrade from the 10 year old machine that was there before and this is an amazingly small form factor which really saves desk space.I would not really recommend this as a personal computer unless you plan to stick to simple web browsing and similar, as the CPU will bottleneck pretty quickly when multi-tasking heavily. It makes a perfect light workstation, especially with the Windows 11 Pro license.

Excellent Customer Service
There have been lots of customer reviews of the actual product, so I’m going to review the Customer Service from Geekom. I did have an issue with my Geekom IT8 after three months of ownership. I contacted their Customer Service via e-mail and had a response within 24 hours. There were a couple more follow up e-mails with questions and answers, etc. and in the end my issue was fully resolved. I would not hesitate to recommend this product and follow up service.

Perfect size for me!
I am converting a small space into a work area and having a big bulky computer was out of the question. For me, the smaller the better. However, I still needed decent hardware. This computer fit the criteria. It is able to run smoothly when doing basic work like emails and using google chrome. I could have youtube playing music and surf the web without any noticeable impact. On other pcs, I noticed longer load times. The image quality was also pretty good. For my criteria, being small and running simple programs smoothly, it definitely fit the bill and performed well.

Great little machine.
I’m sorry, I can find nothing wrong with this little power house. Easy to set up, no fuss, no muss, no bother. I give it an A++ rating. If you set it on a hard surface the fan sounds like a mosquito, set it on a folded bandana and you will never know it’s there. To save me the time and hassle of opening this little baby up I have 2 questions: Does it have 1 16gb chip or 2 8gb chips? And 2 – can I use a SSD drive instead of a HDD? Thanks for making a VERY fine little product. Well done.

Efficient and Space Saving
I upgraded my personal computer after my older computer crashed in the middle of busy season, and wow what a difference. A considerable upgrade from my former clunky tower. Although the cooling fan is noticeable, the white noise is acceptable for the efficiency and space savings this Mini-PC offers. Looking forward to upgrading my other tower computers to Mini-PCs soon.

AMAZING LITTLE PC
I can’t believe this mini computer takes the place of my huge Dell desktop and can do everything it does and faster! Plenty of USB and HDMI ports. I love the way it starts up in seconds rather than minutes (like my old one). I bought the Mini IT 12 with 1 TB HDD and 32 GB RAM.I highly recommend it.

AMAZING PC
Absolutely did not expect it to run as well as it does because it’s so CHEAP. I run high graphic games on it such as GTA V and Fortnite and it handles it with 15-20 ping at all times. This has been one of the best purchases I’ve made and doubt almost any $1000 desktop pcs can come close to it. I’ve shopped around markets and bought many pcs in my life, this has been the best by far. It is amazingly portable and I will be using this for the rest of my life.

Great PC for the entire Home and More
This is a great powerful mini-PC that is great for everything. It is small, quiet, and very powerful. Bought 2 of them, 1 for myself as I run it for my daily PC needs and one for my son who uses if for school, gaming, and everyday use. Never has any issues. Small enough foot print for any desk, you don’t even know it is there and it is extremely quiet. I have no issues and works better then any other PC I have ever had.

Fantastic machine, great value
Bought this MiniPC to replace my father’s older mini PC from a different company. He uses it primarily for web surfing, emailing, photo editing and simple games. Very easy to set up, takes up just a small space and has great power. MUCH faster and more reliable than the 2 year old device it is replacing. Pops is now a happy web surfer again! (…and MY personal tech support duties are now minimal 🙂 ).

Pleasantly Surprised!
I bought this computer because I needed an at home office setup. I occasionally work from home. I used it to make outbound and field inbound calls all while navigating multiple software. Also, I’ve used it to edit 1080p videos as well stream various forms of content. I never have long load times or any sort of buffering. I would highly recommend Geekom for most application. *Two thumbs up!*

Solid desktop replacement
Needed a replacement for my older desktop that is not Windows 11 compatible. Came across this and decided to give it a shot. Popped it out of the box and it was good to go in five minutes. Ran into a few issues with some apps but after talking to Microsoft it turns out they were related to Windows 11 and not the machine. All fixed up now and running great. Fast, quiet, and a good deal at any price point, much less the what I paid. I plan on buying another one to replace another older desktop. I can’t give a stronger recommendation than “I’m buying a second one” I guess.

Powerful little guy
My wife let me get it for my birthday. Great for a work from home/home office computer because of the ram space. Doesn’t have a good graphics interface so you can’t do any high resolution gaming (which p*ssed my 9 year old off, lol). Eventually plan on converting it into a media server for my streaming applications because of the ram space. Fun little home project for better speed/utilization.

Excellent miniPC！
It has an Intel i5, 8th generation CPU, so it does its job very well. I went for the larger model with 16Gb of RAM and a 512 SSD. in daily use it’s pretty responsive, always runs smoothly on the internet, and downloads forms smoothly. And it also has integrated dual-band WIFI as well as Bluetooth.It is indeed small, but it can be upgraded in terms of memory and add a 2.5″ mechanical or solid state drive up to 2TB, which is one of the things that makes me happy.It can be mounted behind a monitor and my desktop will be very neat. And I think it looks good and works well, and I find it very convenient.Very happy with it, very useful product.

Small but Mighty!
I was looking to upgrade from a laptop setup to a PC and came across the mini PCs. As you can see, I like the clutter look on my desk so this was the perfect solution for me. It comes with Windows 11 installed and 512GB of memory built in. After plugging it up and switching it on, it was ready to go! I use this mini PC for gaming and streaming on Twitch, for school, and work. The i5 processor is enough to handle everything I use it for and more. I am so happy with my decision to go small with the mini PC!! It only comes with a HDMI cable, so I did purchase a mini display port cable for my second monitor. I also use a 3.0 USB port hub because it only has 2 USB ports but if you don’t use a ton of wired accessories, you should be fine with the included ports. The best part about having this mini PC is that you can take it with you when you travel so I will be looking in to getting a portable monitor as well. 11/10 would recommend this mini PC!!

Our living room gaming entertainment pc
This mini pc is powerful yet its whisper quiet , rins cool and plays recent games at mid to high graphics. It fits in the palm of your hand, it boots up quickly because of the ssd hard drive.There are three usb3.0 ports and two usbc ports. It has wireless card but only 1 hdmi port and no display port. Another pro is that it’s very quiet and does not produce lot of heat. I’m also been able to video edit and render on this machine, little chance tou would want to upgrade the hard drive or ram in future but I am more than happy with this computer.

-Lieferumfang:Neben dem Netzteil ist noch ein HDMI-Kabel und eine Halterung um den PC an einem Monitor zu befestigen dabei. Außerdem ist noch eine praktische Stofftasche dabei, damit der Kleine auf Reisen keine Kratzer bekommt.-Verarbeitung:Leider ist nur der Boden aus Metall, der Rest ist aus Plastik. Trotzdem fühlt es sich hochwertig und gut verarbeitet an. Leider ist das Plastik anfällig für Fingerabdrücke, davon abgesehen gefällt mir das schlichte Design sehr gut.-Ersteinrichtung:Es ist wie bei allen Elektrogeräten ratsam den PC, besonders in der kalten Jahreszeit, erstmal 1-2 Stunden zum „aufwärmen“ stehen zu lassen nach der Lieferung. Ansonsten besteht die Gefahr, dass Feuchtigkeit im Gerät kondensiert.Danach kann man Monitor, Strom, Tastatur und Maus anschließen. Windows 11 Pro ist schon vorinstalliert, so dass man den PC sofort in Betrieb nehmen kann. Die Einrichtung ist sehr einfach da der Einrichtungsassistent einen da durchführt. Das schafft jeder. Und es dauert nur etwa 10 Minuten.Natürlich gibt es danach ein paar Windows Updates zu erledigen, aber auch das ist nach wenigen Minuten durch.-Performance:Ich habe es mir erspart, Benchmarks durchzuführen. Die könnt ihr auch ergooglen. Subjektiv bin ich auf jeden Fall begeistert. Der Kleine rennt förmlich. Alles läuft schnell und geschmeidig. Bis auf ein paar extreme Aufgaben wie 3D Games oder professionelle Videobearbeitung ist er für alle Zwecke geeignet. Und man merkt ihm seine kleine Größe nicht an. Läuft schneller als die meisten Desktops mit denen ich privat oder beruflich arbeite.Ich denke 95% aller Menschen werden sehr zufrieden mit der Performance sein.-Lautstärke / Temperatur / StromverbrauchIm Leerlauf und bei leichter Benutzung ist der PC nicht hörbar. Die CPU läuft dabei bei etwa 50-55°C. Und der Stromverbrauch im Leerlauf liegt bei 9,3-9,8 Watt.Unter Volllast taktet der Intel-Turbo-Boost die CPU auf 3,4Ghz hoch und braucht dann 48Watt. Nach ein paar Sekunden Turbo-Boost steigt die CPU Temperatur allerdings auf den maximal erlaubten Wert von 100°C an, darum taktet die CPU bei längerer Volllast wieder etwas runter auf 3Ghz und verbraucht dann bei einer Temperatur von etwa 93°C ca. 41Watt.Nach längerer Vollast wird auch der Lüfter störend laut. Der Lüfter ist etwas träge und braucht immer 20-30 Sekunden bis er seine Drehzahl der Last angepasst hat. Das ist insofern angenehm, als das er dann bei kurzen Leistungsspitzen schön leise bleibt und nicht wie andere PCs schon nach 2 Sekunden Last Krach macht.Ich habe bei mir in den Energieoptionen den maximalen Leistungszustand des Prozessors auf 99% begrenzt. Damit ist der Intel-Turbo-Boost quasi deaktiviert und er erreicht unter Volllast 77°C bei 2,4 GHz und verbraucht dabei 28Watt. Der Lüfter ist dabei hörbar, aber nicht so störend wie mit Turbo-Boost. Und die Rechenleistung empfinde ich so auch noch völlig ausreichend.-Besondere Features:Der Mini PC hat in der Front ein Mikrofon integriert was nirgends aufgeführt ist.Außerdem besitzt er einen integrierten IR-Empfänger. Mit Tools wie dem „Advanced MCE Remote Mapper Tool“ kann man beliebige Software des PCs per Fernbedienung bedienen.Was man dafür braucht ist eine RC6 Fernbedienung. RC6 Fernbedienungen werden manchmal auch MCE Fernbedienung genannt das sind die Fernbedienungen mit denen man früher das Windows Media Center steuern konnte. Soweit ich weiß gibt es für die Logitech Harmony One auch eine Voreinstellung für solche Fernbedienungen. Ich konnte das Feature leider noch nicht testen. Allerdings sollte es funktionieren, der IR-Receiver wird auch korrekt im Geräte Manager angezeigt.-Fazit:Ein kleiner, leiser, sparsamer PC mit viel Leistung den ich jederzeit wieder kaufen würide.

Was easy to set up and load applications that had been saved to the cloud. The fan is quite loud but my perception my be off as my previous computer was a lap top and had zero fan noise. Without the fan noise this would definitely be a 5 rating.

Unreliable
I bought this geekom mini I 8. It has worked well for 5 months. I am on month number 6, and now it is useless. It keeps powering off in the middle of use, sometimes within 2 minute intervals. I have tried everything they recommended, and by the way you have email them with the issue. And wait around for days to get a response. Anyway, I have tried the hard reboot, got a surge protector, checked my internet connection. Every last thing I could think of. And no dice. Nada.Update. Geekom has assisted me in getting the situation with my computer, handled. They stand by their products, and have great customer service.

Good Customer Service
I raised the rating to 3 stars due to their great customer service. They reached out to me to make this right and sent me a great 4K LCD display.Purchased in Aug. 2023. I could not get an external GPU to work with Thunderbolt/USB 4 until i procured a certified USB 4 cable and not simply a Thunderbolt cable. Anytime i used the external GPU it would cause a reset to the Geekom unit. It seemed to work and was stable after I installed a certified USB 4 cable. However just last week, the entire Geekom unit powered off and would not power on. I returned the unit for a refund.Tech support is questionable. I had an ongoing communication with tech support via email until they asked for my order number. I gave them the Amazon order number and they indicated that I had to start over with a different tech support representative that specializes in Amazon orders. This slowed down my support until i basically solved the issue myself (external GPU usage).

4 Screens? NO. Pay attention to the VIDEO. See my pics. Mini IT8 contains IT11 video content!!
First, let me say, packaging itself was Excellent. Although it arrived in a plastic BAG from Amazon. One corner of the box slightly crunched, the Geekom box was what saved it.I’m a veteran I.T. Analyst. I grew up in the 80’s and have built, supported custom PCs, Enterprise networking, developing and otherwise varied skills and work daily in this career field. I purchased this unit after watching the video. I missed ONE small detail. Most of the 4 screen content was only for the Mini IT11. So I cabled up my IT8 and discovered the front panel USB Type C port was NOT a Display port.I have 10 screens across a few PCs. I should have just ordered the Mini IT11. I am going to try a $120 DisplayPort Splitter, Triple Monitor Adapter and see if that will work. If not, I’ll punt this box down to the engineering team and order a Mini IT11 and cut my TIME losses. We were testing this platform to deploy to about 200 seats this year. Lessons learned and Learning.Also, the WIFI adapter drivers keep failing right out of the box. I’ve downloaded ALL new drivers from Geekom… Zero fix. Thankfully I don’t need wifi on this unit.Next was adding a HD. It comes up as Disk 0, the built in comes up as Disk 1. hmmm. It fails to initialize the new disk UNLESS you do so in another PC, then place it in this one… Wow.Am I really that disappointed? Not really. I had low expectations to start with. I think if I spend another 5 or 6 hours on it to get it to fit the way I use a PC, then diluting those hours across 200 units will work. Any engineering dept spends that or more fine tuning for their own purposes.Your average consumer with 2 screens, 1 drive and hard wired network should expect nice performance and product quality itself is well above average.

Loved it; till I hated it
This was a great little computer. But, it didn’t even last 9 months before it died. Pitiful.UPDATE: A couple of weeks after my review, I was contacted by GEEKOM Customer Service. They offered to make things right. I was given the option of getting a replacement computer or a refund. I chose to receive a full refund. After I returned the computer; GEEKOM refunded my money to my credit card. I liked the computer as it met all my requirements. I changed my review based on GEEKOM’s responsive Customer Service, which I rate as 5 stars.

Excellent product and helpful Tech Support
I love this Mini PC. Super quiet… my laptop is 10x louder. Received it as described. Setup was easy. Followed the video on the product page to install the additional hard drive. The only reason this is 4 stars and not 5 is because I had trouble activating Windows 11 Pro that came with the device. I contacted tech support and they sent me three product keys before the last one finally worked. The last time I even had to take a video and text it to the phone number given to me by tech support. That being said, they followed through until the problem was solved, which was very much appreciated! But making sure the OS is able to activated from the factory would be a good move from an organizational standpoint. Otherwise absolutely stellar PC! Would buy again!

So far, so (very) good
I’ve used the Mini IT8 for a little over a month now, and I have been very pleased with its performance. My demands on it are not great–I am not a gamer (which is why I didn’t rate it for gaming) and I’ll never use it for video editing. I use it for streaming (about 40%+ of the time), browsing (50%+), with most of the remainder for email. So far, it has performed flawlessly. Although the processor it uses was introduced in 2018, I probably wouldn’t notice any performance improvement if it used the latest Core I5 processor (of if I did, it wouldn’t make any difference to me). It also operates quietly, with no apparent fan noise. It was extremely easy to set up and I haven’t had a need for tech support (hence no rating there, either).I am amazed by its small size (it was delivered to me in my mailbox!) and I like that it takes up very little space on my desk (it fits under my monitor). All in all, I would enthusiastically recommend it to anyone whose needs are similar to mine.

noisy fan
Bought 2 of these; very nice! second one I mounted with the included VESA mount plate on the back of my monitor. Don’t know if it’s coupling of the box to the monitor’s backside, or the way the fan is oriented when hanging on its side, but the fan is annoying. If I just set it on the desk, it’s much better. Plus,hanginng on the VESA makes it difficult to access stuff like the SD card slot. Came down $100 between purchases. Works great, but I still hate W11

Powerful GEEKOM Mini PC
I bought the GEEKOM Mini PC after long debate on what I wanted to replace my aging/dying laptop. I looked at MacBook (various versions), big bulky desktops, and many laptops (various brands). I decided on the GEEKCOM based on price and the top specs. So far it did not disappoint, super quick start up, top notch graphic, big 32GB RAM, 1T of SSD, 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, and came with Windows 11 Pro. It performs without a glitch with intensive uses like CAD, Bluebeam, gaming and streaming; and it stays cool so no loud fan noise.
