Incredible Machine! Practically Brand New!
This is the second refurbished MacBook Pro that I’ve purchased though Amazon. The first was a mid 2014 that I had bought about 6 years ago and has served me very well with no problems at all. It was just time to upgrade and gain some speed.After researching a lot of reviews online, I opted for this late 2021 M1 Pro rather than the new M2 (huge difference in price too!). The seller was Electronics Basket and my new workhorse was shipped very quickly and was well packaged.The absolute best part for me was to find out that it had only 3 previous battery cycles and even still has the Apple warranty until April, 2024!! It is basically a BRAND NEW computer and came in all the original packaging, as well. I’m extremely happy with my purchase and, having used it for a week so far, words can’t even describe how impressive this upgrade is!!The migration process from my 2014 to this one took about 1.5 hours (via Thunderbolt connection) and worked perfectly. I was still on Mojave on my old 2014 and the 2021 shipped with Ventura. I did need to go through and update many of my 3rd party plugins for Logic Pro X and re-register others, but that was to be expected. I mainly use this for music production and heavy use of Photoshop and Illustrator. Everything has been perfect! (TIP running Logic in Rosetta mode helps many older plugins function just like they are supposed to. I had not even heard about Rosetta mode until after updating). It’s SOOO nice to be tracking a large session in Logic and see the CPU meter hardly budge (especially compared to the older intel chip). And I have yet to hear the fan come on.One more thing to note…I also purchased a Western Digital Easystore 16TB external drive as yet another backup for my huge music / movie / artwork / photography / software synth collections that were scattered among numerous smaller external drives. Thanks to the M1 Pro, transfer speed is amazing…even transferring files from some old NTFS formatted drives. Basically, as best as I could tell, it was transferring approximately 10-15GB data per minute! Blazing fast!!This is the longest review I’ve ever written, but I hope that it will help the decision process of anyone still on the fence about this magnificent laptop. Do it! You won’t regret it 🙂

Bought this MacBook to replace my 2013 MacBook pro, it was getting pretty dated, battery was swelling up ect.It arrived fast, was well packaged and literally looks new, migrating files from old MacBook to new went well.A very good, powerful machine at a very good price, very satisfied.

Like new. Performs better than my PC workstation working with Premiere.
I’m glad I took a chance and bought a renewed macbook pro, it only had an hour of use and looked perfect.This is my first Apple computer and I’m impressed with the performance across the board. I edit a lot of video and have a 16core PC that I also edit with, but it even with maxed out everything, it still requires pre-rendering to view in Adobe Premiere. The same project previews in real time with no lag on the macbook (4k120fps 10bit). Amazing. It can’t encode as fast as the workstation, but that’s fine. I was able to edit literally 10x faster by avoiding proxies and/or pre-renders. That alone was worth it for me.What Apple got right under the hood was eliminating the bottlenecks that exist between your memory, cpu, data buses, drives and RAM. It moves data fast from start to finish and programs like Premiere really benefit from it.Other pros are the battery life. I’ve worked all day including encoding video and rarely run out of juice. Easily the best battery performance of any laptop I’ve ever owned.The screen is fantastic, but does pick up smudges from the keyboard when closed that’s a little annoying.Sound is actually good too, with good volume, bass and clarity. Again, best I’ve seen in a laptop anywhere.The OS takes a little getting used to coming from PC but you learn new workflows and often they’re better too.It’s easy to justify getting the best specs your budget can afford if you’re working with video, even so the M1, 16GB RAM, 1 TB model gives me enough performance and storage to work the way I want to. I find myself setting up remote software like parsec and remoting in to do PC work from the Macbook which frees me from the office to work.Highly recommend.

Surprised! Fantastic Laptop!
My Macbook Pro came in a regular box like most people are complaining. It did not have the original packaging but just came in a regular box like others have pictured. It came with just the laptop and the charger. The battery had a cycle count of 60. The laptop looks absolutely brand new with no blemishes. I’ve had the laptop for one month now and there are no issues with it. Fantastic laptop!

I purchased a 16-inch M1 MacBook Pro with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD from MacPro-LA, and it was delivered in just 2 days. The condition is excellent, just as described, with only 3 charge cycles. I’ve updated it to the latest OS version, and it’s performing wonderfully. I highly recommend MacPro-LA based on my experience. The charging adapter provided is the correct one, and the packaging was of high quality. I’ll provide updates if there’s more to share, but as of now, I’m very pleased with the purchase.

Decent experience overall. You get what you pay for
Overall, It is a good value for your money. One thing I want to preface is that getting a brand new apple refurbished is very unlikely. The laptop I received was used which was packaged in inside of a bubble wrap which was put in a white cardboard box along with the original apple accessories. Overall, the laptop came in excellent condition, without any noticeable external wear and tear. However, one thing worth mentioning is that the keyboard was not as clean. It was in fact the only part that would signal the laptop was used. The unit I received had a battery health of 96% with 86 cycle count. This is the only reason I decided to give 4 stars instead of 5 stars. I was hoping for a battery with less cycle count. Overall experience so far has been decent, I will update if it changes.

Apple Refurbished MBP!
I was reading some of the comments of people saying they received a used one, 3rd party chargers, blemishes, etc.But what made me take a chance was reading the ones who mentioned they received a refurbished mbp.I was lucky enough to receive one that was refurbished by apple, sealed, with new charger, the MacBook itself had no marks of it being used, keyboard, ports, screen, body was literally new and free of any signs. down to the paper on the screen. checked the battery and it had 2 cycles.Definitely do not regret my purchase as of now. It does everything I need it to do from editing, gd, down to the simplicity of just normal use. the battery lasts a while. and to think, you’re saving so much money compared to getting it from apples refurbished store. its crazy.. only downside that’s understandable.. is not being able to add AppleCare.

Laptop looks absolutely New, just one little blemish so far!
This is my first review after buying on Amazon for many years. I received this laptop on the 24th August and it looks like new, no dents, no kinks or no sign of any wear and I had case waiting on it’s arrival. It had two (2) battery cycles and seems pretty ok so far. On my first charge a couple days later it took (approximately) 2.5hrs to full charge and at the end the charging light that was green kept on flashing which I found strange but didn’t pay it much mind.Now with my first test out with my controller last Saturday (2nd) and after playing for a while, my battery was at 27% and I decided to plug in my charger (which doesn’t have the Apple logo on it), no charge light came on, laptop wasn’t being charge. I did all kind of checks on the charger no power to date and laptop had no signs of being charge.I wrote to the supplier and Amazon on the 2nd, received a response (3rd) trying to verify if it was the laptop or the charger and the next one this morning (4th) saying it will be forward to the responsible department, so I am on a waiting list. In the mean time I ordered a “Apple” charger and cable as I used the third party charger provided with the product and it failed so I’m not taking any more chances and unfortunately I travelled from the US to Jamaica to use my laptop. Hopefully it charges ok when the charger arrives………Update: Just getting around to do this update, the charger arrived on the 3rd while I was waiting on the supplier and my laptop charged ok and is now on 4 battery cycles with the laptop working perfectly fine. The supplier service department contacted me back on the 4th and I told them what I did and they asked me to provide proof of my purchase which I did. They immediately sent me back a note issuing a full refund for my purchased charger and by the 5th the credit was in my account.Brilliant supplier and service department and I would definitely recommend this supplier and I will buy again…They just gained another Star….

Super fast Macbook with plenty of ports
I’m not a fan of the price of Macbooks but if you can get past that, this truly is a great laptop. It’s very fast and powerful. This is my main work computer, and I run lots of software throughout the day, such as Word and Excel, but also several browser windows with many tabs open, Slack, and Zoom with no problems at all. I also do video editing (Da Vinci Resolve) while everything else is running and still no loading issues.This is my first Mac with an M chip and I was worried I might run into software compatibility issues but I was able to transfer everything from my Intel-based Macbook to this one seamlessly.This has three USB-C ports and each one is capable of charging the computer or connecting to an external monitor, which is great. But this also has a proprietary charging port if you need an extra USB-C port and it has an HDMI port if you want to use that for a monitor. The charging cable also connects magnetically, which is nice because it’ll pop right off if you accidentally trip over the wire.There’s also an SD port, which is awesome for me since I do a lot of photo and video editing work. It’s so much easier to pull the SD card out of my camera and download media to the computer or to another hard drive.I ordered the 16″ model after using a 14″ model for years and it took me a while to get used to it. This computer is much larger and felt way oversized for several weeks but I eventually got used to it. I still miss my old 14″ laptop for portability though because it was smaller and much lighter. I still haven’t taken this computer out with me because it’s big and I’d rather just leave it at home.But the benefits of a larger screen is a huge plus. On the smaller Mac, I couldn’t split screen and work out of two windows. The 16″ model makes split screen possible, so I don’t always need an external monitor. I’m far more productive with this screen.Another drawback of the size is the large hand rest area. I have to reach much further to reach the keys and my wrists rest on the edge of the laptop, which is a little uncomfortable.I wouldn’t say one size is better than the other, just that each one has its benefits.The screen is huge. I have another 15.5″ PC laptop and the screen on this Mac feels so much larger, because the bezel on the edges is very thin. Very little space is wasted here.The speakers are great and that’s one thing I’ve always loved about Macbooks over PC laptops (or at least the ones I’ve owned). I have three other Windows machines and the speakers are terrible and sound tinny. But the audio on this Macbook feels like you’re surrounded by the sound and everything sounds crisp and clear. You can hear the bass.The camera is pretty good, and much better than previous models (such as the 2019 model I previously used). It’s not amazing and you’lll probably still want to use an external camera for higher quality video calls, but this camera is still surprisingly good. It does a great job of lightening up the scene in dark rooms.

I have ordered the 16″ MacBook Pro from this seller. Got enticed by the price and the 5 stars reviews of other customers where they show laptops in perfect cosmetic condition with a low battery cycles. The laptop I’ve received was not that excellent but in really good condition. The screen had no scratches , the keyboard was clean , the body clean also. There was a minor scratch on the lid of the laptop which was visible under certain angle and on a good day light but it was small enough and after a couple of hours of use of a perfectly working machine I was really not bothered much by it. I ended up returning my laptop because it had 118 cycles on the battery and the apple store told me that battery health was 90% (or 91% – do not remember correctly) and it was probably kept for a long time on the charger (based on the technical check they made). “Coconut flavor” app was evaluating something around 90% on battery life which was supposed to be higher according to apple’s own battery life guaranties for a laptop that had 118 cycles. However I am rating the seller 5 stars because it was all disclosed in the description that the battery should be at least 90% health. The charger was not Apple’s original but it seemed like a brand new third party charger, and was working as expected. But this was also disclosed in the description. Regarding the scratch on the lid , yes it was not supposed to be visible at a certain distance and i still noticed it but it was not a deep and long scratch and like i said one easily forgets about it when working with otherwise perfectly functioning laptop. I was refund my money very fast with no issues or questions asked. So again , read the description and be prepared that most likely you will not get the original apple refurbished laptops with less than 10 battery cycles. I am rating 5 stars because the description was honest and I did not have a bad experience.

good computer for the value
I have been compare M1 macbook pro 16 vs macbook air 15. getting refurbished is a great value. So, ordered the 16 inch macbook pro. come in perfect condition, no scratch on screen or body. There is few scratch on the original charger. What prevent me give a 5 star is, rather provide a magsafe charging cable, they just provide a 100w type c, which the charger output at 140w.

Great value and service!
I debated purchasing a refurbished Macbook Pro, but I took a chance based on the Amazon and other tech site reviews. The late 2021 Macbook Pro I received was like brand new! There was no evidence of any use; it came with everything except the original exterior box — all the accessories and things were wrapped as if they came straight from Apple, all at a much lower cost. I recommend this service and the additional warranty they offer!

I took the risk and bought this refurbished product.It came with Applecare Enterprise installed, as well as having only 4 battery cycles present.All parts of the Macbook are pretty pristine.The only complaint I may have is that the charger you will receive is a 3rd party cheap charger.Besides that, I am highly satisfied with this 2021 16″ Macbook Pro M1 Pro Model.

Good product, but charger is hmm
It’s almost new; it has a stain on it, but I can easily remove it. But the charger and MagSafe cable are not Apple’s, but it works well tho (100 cycles, 97% life) (about the charger info: 100% battery, 118W charging now), and it doesn’t come with Apple’s original or Apple republished box. Mine were Loop-mobile ones.

Well it’s Apple but I Will Say when it Works it Works Well
So I’ve not really been a fan of Apple computers because even though Apple designs these devices to be User friendly they’re not exactly that simple however if you’re doing what they’re designed to do then it should work out good for you.In my case I had a software update take place and I needed to revert back to the older version however Apple says nope you ain’t doing that or at least I haven’t figured out a way to do it. Also the new update is still Beta so I’m not sure why my device decided it absolutely had to have it but now it’s buggy and kinda useless I mean Apple apps work well like Notes, finder, and the like but Chrome it crashes, the app I use for work won’t launch at all so this is pretty much a $2,500 paperweight or desk ornament at this point hopefully Apple gets this resolved soon.Overall when it works it works well and the M1 chip is fire it is extremely fast and effective I did do some video editing just to play around with it and it worked way better than my $5,000 PC with a RTX 3080Ti in it so I can’t give it too much grief and when Apple designs the software, hardware, and interface they all go together super seamlessly so I can’t complain there either like I said when it works it works well very well. However one thing I couldn’t figure out for the life of me is I have a 2018 iPad pro 11 and it connects wirelessly just fine as a separate display but the iPad Pro 12.9 I had 2018 would not connect it would recognize it connect for a few seconds and then lose connection so that’s a downside since the 12.9 is a much larger display I just assumed the device was defective so I sent it back will just use my iPad pro 11 for now.Can I recommend it? Two conditions1. You need to be familiar with Apple and how it works its way different than windows2. Realize you’re going into the Apple ecosystem yeah you can get by with just the MacBook but eventually you’ll find yourself wanting to get an iPad then an apple watch and so on so just be aware of that thankfully my work uses Apple products and this was a purchase to make my work life easier because the iCloud connectivity is amazing and super fast definitely surpasses onedrive by a country mile especially since it’s available on all your devices that are logged onto that apple ID so Notes for example one of the biggest reasons I purchased this I can type it up on my MacBook in my office and when I’m in the field and make changes it automatically does it on the phone, iPad and MacBook so that’s really nice.

Very Pleased
So glad to find this renewed 2021 MacBook Pro M1 16″. Mine came with only 17 battery cycles and even has 20 months of transferable Apple Plus Care remaining. That’s probably a $225 value, so I’m glad they sent me the computer they did. This thing is a workhorse.I did have to wipe the fingerprint reader with a lens cleaning wipe last week when it seemed to not be working. After the simple wipe it worked perfectly again.

The MacBook seems to be in an acceptable condition. I’m not sure what “excellent” refers to, I don’t know, maybe someone else can give clarity on what Amazon’s “excellent” refers to.There is a prominent wrist scuff mark that eroded the metal from the casing.Many of the keys appear to be used to the point that they aren’t matte anymore, they look sticky and heavily used, some keys more than others… and this is not something that “wipes” off or buffs out.The keys don’t feel used, the more of these newer model M1’s and M2’s I see the more I realise this is an Apple issue, none of my older MBP 2012, 2013, 2014, or 2015 which I’m only selling now in 2023 had any of these issues not in the slightest, sitting here looking at them as I type this on the M1…(a lovely keyboard to type on I must reiterate).With the order of this M1, I received a generic Power Supply, as is stated by the refurbished policy, and really does not matter unless in this case the power supply stated 140W and was actually only giving 54W, these are common issues with generic power supplies being rated for higher power output than they can actually provide.However, Loop-Mobile did on account of my query handle the power supply matter in a professional and expedient manner.I’m sure if I returned the MacBook on account of the cosmetic issues it would not have been a problem, maybe it should have been in a different category? but otherwise, it is in excellent shape and I doubt that in a month any of this will bother me for the next 6 years. 52 cycles, 100% battery, not a dent or a scratch otherwise, the device was definitely looked after.

Hello I am a student and was looking around to buy a MacBook for school at first I was looking at the new MacBook Air 15” and was determined on getting it but I started added more memory it started getting pricey which was getting into the MacBook Pro territory then I started looking around even more, for the longest time I wanted to buy a MacBook Pro but the started price for a new one was out of my budget until I started looking at the refurbished ones which was scary for me because its still a lot of money and I didn’t want to get something that was broken or could fail on me. But I started researching and the more I looked the more I was getting confident on getting one. The reviews and the unboxing I was seeing made me take a chance on getting the MacBook Pro 16” 2021 and let me tell you. It was worth it. It came in a new box that had Apple refurbished logo and the unboxing was just how I saw it on YouTube. Came with new charger cable and a new 140w charger but the lab top was the cleanest thing I have ever seen. Started looking around it to made sure it didn’t have any issues or scratches and I couldn’t find anything it was brand new. Turned it on and checked the battery it had 11 cycles on it which was amazing. I’m in love with it and I 100% recommend it for those who want a MacBook Pro and not have 2599 to spend on a new one. You will not get disappointed plus the 90 day warranty that comes with Amazon this is truly a steal. The m1 is still going strong. This is the best investment I have made so far. With the M1 chip this MacBook should easily last me 6-7 years with no issues or headaches. Get yours fast they are going fast.

Worth it!
Well I waited about 5 days to write this review, and could not be happier. The computer arrived in a brown box but was well packaged with charger included. Opened up and it looked brand new! I couldn’t find any signs of wear on it. Not one scuff or scratch. It did have some sort of sticky residue in a few areas, but one wipe with a bacteria wipe and it was taken care of. Battery has 100% life and only showed 8 cycles so it couldn’t have been used that much. It’s set up functions just like any apple product, and when I install some robust malware cleaner and security nothing sketchy popped up. like others i was quite apprehensive about spending that chunk of money on a “refurbished M1 in Excellent condition”. you just never know, but I’m glad I did, and will look at these for an option in the future. I will say I see these coming from multiple suppliers, and mine was shipped by Loop-Mobile

I’m glad I finally did it. My MacBook Pro 16 is im-Mac-culate. See what I did there? (It’s ok, I groaned as I typed it!) But seriously, whenever I unboxed my MacBook I was greeted by what looks to be a brand new computer. There wasn’t a single blemish on the thing. It only has 5 battery cycles on it, so it’s still very new. I was worried a bit by some of the negative reviews, but there are also many rave reviews. Honestly, the worst thing that could happen, is me having to send it back. Amazon is generally awesome about returns so I went for it! Super glad I did! This thing is awesome! For those interested, I received an original MagSafe braided cord with the proper brick. If you’re thinking about it, don’t tire yourself like I did. Just buy the thing. You will not be disappointed. If you are, just return it! Shipping was really fast. I’m currently checking to see if I can add AppleCare. Will update when I find out.Update (10/28/23): No regrets! The MBP is running strong, fast as hell, and that screen is just amazing. Unfortunately, I was unable to extend AppleCare, but it still has about 9 months left on the default warranty. I just went ahead and bought an Asurion warranty so I would have some extra protection. Everything is running perfectly, so I doubt I’ll need it but better safe than sorry. Especially with the money I saved buying recertified! I still came out $1000 cheaper than I otherwise would have. I still highly recommend!

Love it!
Love this MacBook Pro. Such a big step up from the air. It’s incredibly efficient- you could probably run every app at once without slowing it down. The screen resolution is fantastic. Whole thing is silent. Battery lasts all day at the office without charging.I took off one star only because the delivery – FedEx – was just awful. The schedule was not the same as that given by Amazon – I had to wait two days instead of one. Then, the courier dumped the package at the door – in the rain – without so much as knocking. If I hadn’t heard the truck door slam, the expensive machine would have been soaked. FedEx is a bad choice of courier for this kind of item. In my town, FedEx is so bad that I don’t buy things from sellers that I know to use FedEx and this would have been the same if I had known in advance.But, again, great machine!

I had my doubts and thought the price was too good to be true. I was sure that I’d get a device that was serviceable, but with some dings and quite a few battery cycles.Instead what I got was a brand new Macbook Pro from late 2021. It had, no joke, 3 battery cycles on it. No dings, not a single scratch on it, and that fresh, new mac smell.I’m beyond happy. Thanks guys!

Woot is great but…
The unit I received was an Apple certified refurbished one, and it is like new, I recommend buying from sellers like 6ave, Woot and other trusted sellers, mine was from woot. the only thing I don’t like is I ended up paying over $120 extra as it was listed on their own site for $120 less than the price I paid on the same duration that I bought it from Amazon.

Fantastic MacBook Pro M1 16” – basically brand new
Very pleased with my investment into a “new” laptop. I’m coming from a Razer Blade that gets extremely hot even on basic task and sounds like a jet engine. During my search I came across this deal for a refurbished MacBook Pro for around $1500 with 4 years of protection for another $250 plus tax came to around almost 2k which was my budget I had in mind. My main worry for this MacBook Pro was the battery life! To my surprise I was blown away to know that I had %100 percent battery life and 1 Cycle! Basically brand new! I would definitely recommend everyone to save a few bucks and get refurbished and use that money to buy more or save the money for a rainy day. I would definitely buy more refurbished products from Amazon that’s backed up with money back guarantee if not satisfied with your purchase in 90 days time from what I read.As per the MacBook Pro has zero scratches and zero imperfections on the screen from what I can tell. The accessories that came with the laptop seem to be original and are functional as intended. The packaging was fantastic I know it wasn’t the original packaging but it felt like it came off the shelf at a Apple Store! Great repackaging done with this product! Those looking at the M2 great chip but I decided to get an M1 instead of the M2 because of the lack of a difference with performance but I wanted to get a reduction of heat and fan noise. I know the M2 Chipset produces a bit more heat and causes the fan to spin an additional 1000 rpm VS the M1 Chipset . But this is my opinion and preference. I prefer a quiet powerful pc and this Refurbished Product met my expectations and beyond ! Order now before it’s sold out!

After reading many reviews, especially recently, about everyone’s experience with Amazon renewed , I decided to take the plunge. I decided to go with an excellent condition with the hope that it may actually be a certified refurbished model from Apple. Boy was I happy when I recieved it yesterday and it was in fact refurbished by Apple. It came packaged just like how Apple does it and everything was brand new. The only thing that was different was that it didn’t start up the moment I open the lid on the laptop (battery was dead). Once plugged in though, it turned immediately and performed just as it should. No hiccups, no fuss, just straight to business. After going through the settings I decided to check on the battery to see if they put a new battery in it. It only had 2 cycle counts on it!!!(1 because I had to charge it first). I believe this is the lowest that I’ve seen anyone post on here. I hit the lottery!!! Definitely will be looking to buy another one again(this time 14in and in silver this time). If you’re hesitant, I hope that this review assures you that you’re getting a steal.

Best amazon purchase recently
Where do I begin?I compared prices of the 2021 MacBook Pro 16″ 1tb 16gb ram model between amazon and Apple’s refurbished options. This Mac on Apple’s refurbished site is $2,079 and Amazon had it for $1,580. I noticed some of the reviews on amazon saying that they received an apple certified refurbished MacBook and some people received amazon refurbished. I was nervous, but bit the bullet and purchased the amazon offering. I received an Apple certified refurbished MacBook with 6 months left of the 1 year warranty. I was hoping I’d be able to purchase AppleCare but it looks like I can’t. This MacBook is flawless besides 2 very light scratches near the bottom feet. The battery has 3 cycles on it, It was completely dead when I opened the box.I purchased this Mac to replace my late 2013 15″ MacBook Pro and so far this has been a great purchase. For $500 less than apple, I would recommend this item.

Fantastic laptop
I purchased an M1 macbook pro 16 inch from the seller “Woot“. The laptop came in perfect condition with a battery cycle count of 3 and warranty until April 15th . There isn’t a single blemish on the laptop. It looks brand new to me. I also found out it’s eligible for apple care plus after taking it to the apple store. I couldn’t be happier. Woot did not disappoint.

Worth a shot
Not bad! Read previous reviews and decided to take a chance knowing I could do a free return if unsatisfied.Pros:-Original box and charger (140 watt MagSafe)- Chassis needed a light wipe but otherwise in perfect condition- Display also immaculate and the speakers are outstanding- Keyboard and trackpad in perfect working order- Not that heavy! I’ve had several bulky Dell/HP laptops and this little guy feels light and thin in comparison! Fits into my backpack and messenger back perfectly, and I carry it around the office all day. Though probably not ideal if you’re a student walking around campus all day.Cons:- Packaging not ideal for a $1600 laptop- Battery shipped with a 31 cycle count and (93% capacity). Not as mint as others I’ve seen reviewed but I don’t want to risk returning this unit and getting something even more worn. I’ll be keeping this for 5-7 years so I’ll gladly do a battery replacement down the road.All in all, M1 Pro chip performance is outstanding and the display real estate is amazing. I carry this guy all around the house no problem. Plus there’s a 3 month return window so I can really put it through its paces and see how it holds up. I’ll update if any issues arise, but otherwise I say go for it!

Like new in every way from what I can gauge.
I work as a web developer and designer, and I also record a podcast. I’ve had a 2017 MacBook Pro for use in all my work, including intense graphic design with Photoshop, Illustrator, and other programs. I’m a web developer, so I will be running task manager software during development, and at the same time, I’ll be using graphics programs while having far too many tabs open in my browser (thank you to the developers who added tab groups to the browser!).That old MacBook is nice, but starting it up alone tends to result in the fan kicking in. That’s not ideal when I’m recording into my podcast mic. While the first and main reason I was looking to get the M1 was for podcasting purposes, I will say that the M1 exceeds my expectations for my other needs. I can design and develop multiple projects at the same time, and the M1 handles it all with ease. Even while editing video in Premeire Pro, I’ve not had performance issues. I can do all my tasks with the computer plugged in or on the go, and battery life has been outstanding. I think most people purchasing a refurbished unit have concerns about the possibility of compromised components, but with this product, I’ve not been able to identify any issues.When I learned that the M2 was going to be released, I decided to make the purchase of this refurbished M1. Based on my understanding of what the M2 was going to offer, I was quite certain this M1 was of incredible value by comparison, with upgrades not being substantial enough to warrant the price. In addition, if you are able to purchase a quality refurbished product, hopefully that results in less unnecessary production down the line.I cannot recommend this M1 enough at this time.

3 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️I was really hoping it would come in one of those white Mac boxes. But mine came in a random brown box with the Mac bubble wrapped inside. Charger was dirty and Mac had a burn on the screen. Currently prepping to return it.Update: 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I returned it and got a full refund within 24hrs, then I reordered. New one also came in a brown box but oh well. New one was clean and came with the right cable. Turns out the cable that came w the first Mac was the wrong one. This new one doesn’t have a burn on the screen, charges well and is clean. I count that as a win.

Good machine, somewhat good reseller
The Mac itself was amazing. However, I ordered Space Grey and got Silver. The seller refunded me $50, but I ended up returning it because it just didn’t match with my setup. Either way, the Mac itself was in amazing condition. One other issue— the MagSafe charger it comes with is not the original. Wish it was.

WOW!!! Refurbished but its truly brand new.
I originally ordered a brand new m2 14inch MacBook Pro. After my ordered got delayed twice and I kept watching more reviews. Several channels recommended going with a refurbished M1 model and saving money. I decided to do it. Firstly, I beat myself over it because I never order second hand when it comes to these kind of things, but once it arrived I was truly mind blown and realized I stressed for nothing. Opening it felt like opening a brand new MacBook. It was resealed, and all manufacturer items were resealed and repacked. The seller did an incredible job. Secondly, the cycle count was only at 9 !! Battery health is still at 100% and thats truly what I was most worried about. I was afraid that I was going to get somebody’s old work horse. Truly elated and satisfied I choose to go this route and glad so many reviewers recommended this. Seller also did a fantastic job packing it.

Best gift my boyfriend ever received
The color, sound, and ability of this laptop are amazing. I am not a Mac user, so I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend. He absolutely loves it. The keyboard and the mouse are amazing, the pairing to other Apple devices is so easy and the charger is magnetic, so he won’t have the same issues I do with my laptop charger. Looks brand new from Apple
I purchased this laptop almost 2 months ago. It came sealed in an apple refurbished box. It looked to be in brand new condition. There were no imperfections AT ALL. The battery had only been cycled twice and came with an apple extended warranty. The battery life is great and it runs flawlessly. The seller was Woot! So ymmv with another seller. I have only ever had iPhones and iPads, never a MacBook. We bit the bullet and invested in a MacBook Pro that I can use for learning graphics design. I pined over these laptops for weeks. I went back and forth between purchasing the 14” or 16”, and buying new or used. Ultimately, I decided it would be better to go with a bigger screen (seriously, only bc my vision is terrible and the bigger screen will come in handy 🤓).I was pleasantly surprised that it arrived a day early, and upon opening and checking system information, this MacBook has only gone through 5 battery cycles! It looked nice on the outside with no scratches or fingerprints anywhere. It also had a full battery.Since I do not have any previous experience with the MacBook Pro I can’t speak to it performance as of now, but I did get a 16” M1 10core 16GB 1TB so it should hold up for years to come. 🙏🏼If I have any issues I’ll contact the seller and Apple and will come back to update my review.

Update: I’ve been using this laptop for months now and I’ve never used a laptop with this good of a battery. I charge every 4-5 days and I use it for hours at a time daily. I guess the battery life is due to the new CPUs they put in these. I’m very happy with this Mac.The Mac is in awesome condition both functionally and cosmetically. I had an issue with the cable not working and after I reached out to the seller, they made it right immediately. Thank you!
