    Work of Art

I do not have any of the previous versions, but most of family members have a version of the Samsung Watches and comparing to this one, in my opinion, this is top of the class. Synced right away with S22, and did all by itself. I pretty much press next and so forth. The watch does it all itself. GPS, to music(Spotify), sleep, workouts, texting, pictures, walking, I mean it does it all. You have to take the time to explore it and use the “settings” to set it up how you wanted to be. Once you do that? The watch makes it happen. Battery will last me 2.5 to 3 days, of course depending how much you use it, but better battery than previous versions. That is comparing it to the Samsung Watches my family members have. I suggest to buy the “base charger Samsung Duo Charger” in which you can charge your phone and watch at the same time, and you can take it with you when traveling. The charging cable is not the best. I do gym and home workouts, that said, buy the protection “Liquid Air Armor”, becuz you will hit something. It is technically worth it. It may be expensive for some, but totally worth it if you go for it.

Well Built BUT Not all Expected or Advertised Features are Working.

OK, lets face it , most people buying this have a Samsung Smartphone and DON’T need a watch to do the aps that are already working better on their phone. Nor do they need a watch to tell the time. And, almost any good department store or jewelry store has better looking dress watches. Like most people buying this “smart” watch, I was looking to add functional health features and thought it was a bonus to get a cool looking timepiece and additional remote phone features. Honestly, for this I can’t rate the watch more than 3 stars and my frustration level at not having the BloodPressure and temperature and other health apps working has made it thinkable to consider moving to APPLE after being a loyal Samsung customer for over 10 years. I’m a scientist, I know these apps are not in league with the accuracy you get at your doctors office, but over time you can track relative bloodpressure, heartrate, and so on and tell when a significant change is time to book an appointment with a dr. or consider that something needs closer scrutiny. My research has shown that Samsung has been claiming the bloodpressure app was either working, or soon would be, for several years and previous watch models. If I had known this at the time i would not have purchased this watch. I’m tired of hearing that this is only a US problem, honestly, thats where Samsung sells most of their products. If its “hung -up” with FDA approval, then Samsung is either not doing something right or not trying hard enough. I work in an FDA regulated business, and frankly their a pushover compared to the EPA! So the problem is with Samsung, whatever it is!

    Not a great fitness watch

Disappointed in this purchase. I mainly wanted a fitness watch, but also liked the idea of playing Spotify while running and being able to get notifications of texts/emails without having to carry my phone. Turns out it’s just not a very good fitness watch. You have to fool with it before every activity to make sure the GPS is ready or you’ll get bad results. The Spotify app is garbage (probably Spotify’s fault rather than Samsung). And the watch slowed down to a crawl when trying to track a fitness activity and use Spotify at the same time. So running while listening to Spotify was impossible.Exporting runs and bike rides to Strava was very buggy. Sometimes exporting impossible pace (2 min miles!) and/or setting the date to back in the 1960s. The fitness data in the Samsung app was correct for these runs, so it was something in the export to Strava. Many of the out of the box settings are just dumb and you’ll spend a lot of time tweaking things with the help of samsung forums and youtube. For example, the watch will give an alert and vibrate every time you go in or out of bluetooth range of your phone. It’s also possible to inadvertently set the features for the watch where it’ll burn through the battery in just a few hours. I had to turn things off that seemed interesting in the initial setup to get it to last a full day.The final straw was when the watch glitched and defaulted back to factory settings. I figured no problem, I have “Auto Backup” enabled on the phone app. I’ll just restore from the most recent backup. Turns out “Auto Backup” doesn’t auto backup. It’s a well known bug on the samsung forum. Since I spent a lot of hours getting the watch setup the way I wanted and would have to find all of those settings again, I gave up and bought a Garmin watch.

    Is the 5 better?

Is the 5 better than the 4? It is when it comes to the sensors and battery. Don’t believe it will take your blood pressure. This feature is not available in the US. Over all app wise and usage you probably won’t be able to tell the difference between the 4 and 5. It does have great battery life. But my 4 last for 2 days with moderate use. The apps were all the same as the 4. You just have to ask yourself is it really worth the upgrade. After using the watch for a week it was no different than my 4. The 5 had better battery life. I didn’t like the magnetic wrist band. This magnet came loose several times during work and the watch almost fell off. If you like the traditional band go with that. The 5 is a great watch but they need to do something different than years prior.Overall i would recommend the 5 but I’m sticking with my 4 until it dies or samsung comes out with a watch that blows us away.

    Greater than Great

I love it. The battery life is reasonable, and the super speedy charge makes it even more so. A lot of stuff could be done with it – meaning a lot of apps, tools, and options. The design is luxurious and sturdy.I am very happy for getting one. One tiny flaw is that it stops counting steps, but I shake my arm, and it wakes up or something, lol…

Best Smart Watch I Have Used

I love this smart watch. I have had fossil in the past and have used and fixed the Apple watches being an IT Supervisor. This is the best one I have had a chance to use all around. The watch is fast, the app is nicely laid out and easy to use, and the features are amazing. I did a work around (easily found on youtube) to make the blood pressure monitor and ECG functional and calibrating with a blood pressure cuff it is surprisingly accurate. There are many face apps you can use to customize the face. The other features like sleep tracking and steps seem to be really accurate as well and are being used more than i ever thought. This thing is perfect for someone trying to better their health or just the casual user wanting an awesome watch that can be customized to the max. It is very sleek as well. the screen is clear and the band is comfortable. Highly recommended.

Turn off the apps that you don’t want

Upon fully charging this product and setting it up the battery didn’t last more than a day due to the downloading of all the apps, after I was able to get back into it, I went on the mobile app and shut down/disabled the apps I didn’t need and got rid of the ones that would let me delete. This product acts/functions as it should.

    Love it.

This is probably hands down one of the best smart watches I’ve had. Extremely rugged I work in a foundry I put this thing through the test. Holds up to the harsh environment I like all of its features handles the heat well. I’m very happy with my purchase.

    I FREAKING LOVE THIS WATCH!

I previously had a Fitbit Versa 3 a very basic watch.Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is a huge upgrade! I like that it came with a preset of BOWLING as a workout! Also I can create my own exercises to keep track of diferent workouts (i.e. WOOD CHOPPING)! The app has many creative watch faces, customizable to what trackers are important to you. You can also use photos on your phone to create a personalized watch face. I don’t count my steps, however my Samsung Galaxy Watch is less sensitive to the bumps and shakes of my semi-truck.I’m a big man this band adjusted with plenty of room to spare!

Coming from Samsung Galaxy Watch 3…..(Tizen)

Coming from a Galaxy Watch 3…..just some thoughts…….The battery life is good, I’m getting about 2 days with the Wi-Fi turned on. You could probably get more if you turn off NFC, and Wi-Fi. The screen is crisp, and easy to read. The software is…….it’s just okay. I feel like Tizen was more snappy, and simple. And believe it or not, offered more options for the everyday use. As example, the Tizen software let you set a reminder for missed notifications, that way if you get the buzz on your watch, but didn’t look at it right away, the watch would remind you to check it to see what you have…..can’t do that here. And the vibration, set all the way strong, doesn’t do a great job of letting you know you got a message. On the definite plus side, there are more watch faces available to download, so you can have more variety on your watch. All in all…..I would wait for the 6 which is coming in August 2023.

    Everything works for me!

I don’t use my watch like the average person. I don’t use a lot of the apps it has. I keep my settings very basic and turned off alot of the background apps to keep battery life longer. I’ve noticed by doing that I charge my watch once every 3 days or so. I mainly got the watch to feel notifications. I keep my phone on vibrate 90% of the time so when it’s in my pocket I dont feel it go off. The sleep tracking was really cool. it helped me realize that I needed a C-pap after seeing my o2 levels were low. I wouldnt say it was 100% accurate but it’s within the range you should know if something was wrong. I would recommend!

    Great smartwatch, no complaints

I’ve bought this about 9 months ago, and so far no complaints. The battery lasts about 48-55 hours if you work out for 1-2 hours every day like me (and use the watch to track them). It can last for up to 4 days if you’re only using it as a regular watch, replying to the occasional Whatsapp message while you’re out in the street. The water resistance so far is holding up (I swim with it about 3 hours every week), and there are compatible apps like Swim.com that have many features to track your swimming workouts, e.g. number of laps, distance, heart rate, strokes per lap, style detection, etc., there’s also lots of other fitness apps that sync with your phone (e.g. Google Fit, Strava, etc.). It can also help you take selfies with your phone (activating the camera shutter with your watch), which is kinda cool. The build quality seems good too, it shows few if any signs of wear despite what I’m putting it through.Overall, I’m happy with it, and if I ever lost it or had it stolen, I’d almost certainly buy the same again.

I was super psyched!! but then I discovered a deal breaker

Purchased Galaxy Watch5 Pro.No doubt about it, the watch is beautifu!. It offers plenty of extras my Fitbit Sense did not. I thought I would use a number of them! When I went online to find a desktop version of my Galaxy Watch’s stored data and trends I found that it did not exist. I was shocked. Deal Breaker for me. The watch is not useful for me. I am sure it is fine for those who just use their watch moment to moment, glancing throughout the day or workout at stats. I do too, but I also like to look back through progress and toward goals on something larger than a watch face. I didn’t even get as far as looking to see if I could find accumulations of data on the watch because having to view mass accumulations of statistics on a watch would be ridiculous.I received the GalaxyWatch5 Pro yesterday afternoon. Discovered the deal breaker before dinner. Ordered a Fitbit Sense2 after dinner. I am returning the Galaxy Watch5 Pro today. I lost my original Fitbit Sense on a roller coaster this weekend. This is my second one. I am very happy with Fitbit, once again. It suits my needs.I was lured by the touted capabilities of this Galaxy Watch. I expected and anticipated the world from it!But, it failed in the most rudimentary of ways. Bummer for Galaxy.

Decent smart watch, but NO ROTATING BEZEL! I’ll stick with Watch 4 Classic

This year Samsung is NOT releasing a “Classic” version of the Galaxy Watch, instead they have a regular Watch 5 and a Watch 5 Pro. NEITHER version has a rotating bezel like the Watch 4 Classic had, which is a HUGE disappointment to me. I really liked the rotating bezel, and not even having any models with that option this year is frustrating. Instead, this Watch 5 Pro has a touch sensor in the bezel like the regular Watch 4; but also has a raised, titanium non-rotating edge around it.Biggest Improvement: Larger battery, claimed up to 80 hours of use. (Maybe this is true with infrequent use, and not using “screen always on”. I feel like I’m getting closer to maybe 48 hours)Should you upgrade to this from the Watch 4 or Watch 4 Classic? In my opinion, that is a resounding “NO”.One of my favorite things about the Watch 4 Classic was the rotating bezel. Going back to just the touchscreen bezel is very disappointing. Also, there really aren’t big hardware upgrades; the bigger battery is nice, but that isn’t really a huge deal to me. There are some new software features, like TrackBack which provides a kind of navigation feature to help you find your way back to your starting point if you are walking, or the ability to import GPX files for walking routes; but these are very niche features that I will almost certainly never use. So far, I DEFINTELY prefer my Watch 4 Classic to this Watch 5 Pro, and it would be hard for me to think of a reason to recommend getting this at all.Overall, both versions of the Watch 5 are surprisingly unimpressive. I will still keep them both and continue to test the features over time, and I will update this review if I feel differently. For now though, I would suggest that you save your money and get a Watch 4 or Watch 4 Classic. (Actually I think I even prefer my Watch 3 to this, at least it had a rotating bezel)

    Very versatile

I originally bought this watch as a way to track my golf shots and use GPS on golf course, but I soon found out it was also a great sleep tracker, excellent cycling app, and as a fantastic addition to my Galaxy s23. I was blown away by the fact that the watch face is very readable even on a sunny fairway. While I was originally tempted to buy a golf centric watch like the Garmin S70, this watch makes a lot more sense. I’m not only get my choice of golf applications, but also everything else that comes with a smartwatch! I must have especially if you’re at and into sports.

    Small frustrations add up

Lots of small frustrations add up to make it not worth it, in my opinion.First, despite the watch band being insanely comfortable, because of its shape it either has to be removed to charge (which is hard with fat fingers) or you have to use the proprietary charger.Second, having Bixby on it is cool, but if my default app isn’t one of the standard Samsung ones, that feature doesn’t work. Want to send a text from your watch? Your phone needs to have Samsung’s messenger app as its default. Oh, and Google Assistant works instead but doesn’t support routines “yet.”Third, there aren’t really any other fitness apps that it can connect to beyond Samsung’s. Which is fine (unlike the messenger app…) but isn’t helpful when you want/have to send data to the Fitbit app.All these and a few more minor frustrations add up to an experience that isn’t quite worth the $400 price tag. If the software experience was better/ more customizable, or if there were more Wear OS app equivalents to my favorite Android phone apps, it would be a less bitter pill to swallow. But as it stands, you’ll probably be better served with something cheaper.

Best gift my husband never wanted

I bought this for my husband, who runs a business and uses the phone constantly to keep himself organized, in touch and on time. When he opened this gift he wasn’t thrilled thinking it’s another “fitness type of watch”. Two days later he’s raving how he loves his watch! Loves that he can get texts and calls straight to his watch. A month in and he loves it even more. He says it’s the best gift he never knew he wanted ! 😆

Best Android Watch On The Planet

I am no one’s fitness freak at my age, but I do have things that I need to monitor for my continued good health. I decided to go all Samsung with this device cycle and I’m glad I did. I went with the Bluetooth only version because I always keep my phone on or near my person, and spending the money on an LTE capability and line for the watch does not make sense for me. Even without the phone line, this watch does just about everything but sign my paycheck. It’s easy to set up and use. It interfaces well with my S22 Ultra and my Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, providing useful control of both. The available apps, faces and features should satisfy the most demanding user. Battery life is outstanding. I’m getting more than 2 days of continuous use on each charge. Charging is wireless and quick. If you have run it all the way down, it will take a couple of hours to bring it back to full charge, but a half hour will give you useful service time. I have picked up a few things that make my use nice and easy. You can read my reviews on them if you want. I cannot recommend this watch highly enough. Samsung has a winner here.

    Very Good Not Great

Coming from an Apple Watch 8 this watch is a little clunky and buggy compared to IOS. However it works well enough paired with S23Ultra. Part of the clunkiness is probably me coming from years on IOS. It does get a little confused from time to time. It also doesn’t do continuous SPO2 monitoring which I wanted. The GPS also seems to get confused when paired with phone when the phobe connection is lost. Overall 4 out of 5.

The watch met and exceeded my expectations

Battery life at 65% at end of day. So I give it a top off around 10pm and gets to 100% in 45 mins. So 2.5 days life seems to be an accurate estimate. Watch has so many functions, that I have lost a lot of sleep getting to know the watch. Although I was able to start using the watch after an initial charge within an 15 mins. Of course with very little customization at that point, but I was able to wear it and tell time. The price is more than I wanted to pay, but glad I went for it, it was worth it. The quality of the watch is superb. I recommend it, lots of options and watch responds fast and not laggy. I recommend it.1/8/23: I added a report of my last night sleep. I was impressed it caught all the times I did sleep and also I have Sleep Apnea and I did not wear my CPAP in the middle and it detected my SPO2 level dropped to 88% and on thr last section, when I was wearing it, it only dropped to 92%. I am a CPAP technician and that is not bad for a watch to catch this.

    Wonderfull smartwatch

At first, I bought one of those cheap smartwatches but I was not satisfied. This one is wonderful and works well with my Samsung Galaxy S 23+. Getting the settings right was a challenge. My only complaint is that the strap is almost too small. I use all of the notches but the last 2.I have bought one of these for my wife also.

Spend the money and top quality

I’ve spent over $200 dollars trying to find a smart watch (non brand dedicated) including Carbonix, all are a waste of money, my Samsung Galaxy watch 5 pro is exactly what I wanted, you have full contacts lists, and most apps on your phone can be used on Galaxy watch, including emails, texts, Spotify, alarms/timers/stop watch and so many watch faces to download and customize, only one complaint, no numbers or punctuation for texts, you’ll have to spell out numbers and aside from comma and period, there are no punctuation marks, but still, by far SO much better than generic smart watches.

    Great battery life

For a smartwatch that does everything you want it to do, it has great battery life. I’ve tried previous generations of the Samsung Galaxy watch and have returned each one of them. They always claim all day battery life but I always find myself with a dead watch about 10pm or so. I definitely couldn’t sleep with it on because it needed to charge to be ready for the next day. Most of them I returned within a few days. Now the watch 5pro. … ….I wear it all day and all night. Except I do take it off for a shower.I charged it Friday morning when I woke up while I’m sitting at my desk. It lasted all weekend long and still had 23% Monday when I charged it again. Now, is not the best battery life on all smart watches out there, but this watch is amazing quality. Amazing screen. Amazing sound quality for a watch.I love that I can pair my earbuds to the watch and leave my phone at home.Cons:I would still like to see better battery life.Is a bit large but it’s not that big of an issue for me.No rotating bezel.Has 2 physical buttons, would like to see one more. Not a real gripe just a personal preference.

    Necessary accessory not included…

I haven’t used the watch yet, but I’m sure I must deduct 1 star upfront, because, mainly, the watch cannot be used unless I buy an indispensable accessory, the adapter for the charging cable (cable included but not the adapter). Imagine that I’ve already spent $496.45 for this watch, and when it arrived, I found out that it cannot be used as is! What a petty minded way of doing business. If I’d known earlier that I needed extra equipment for using this watch, I’d of course have ordered that equipment. But the fact is, I pre-ordered this watch without being reminded, not in an easy to see way at least, of this problem. Usually, pre-order will offer certain award, but instead, I was punished by this non-supply of essential accessory.Another minor issue is that the manual is too simplistic about how to open the magnetic band buckle. I wasn’t able to figure out the method, for fear of breaking anything, until I watched a YouTube video. My IQ may be a bit low (I studied at 4 universities in North America and abroad, with two academic degrees, though), but shouldn’t the manufacturer make it easier for the dim-witted customers like me to understand? After all, you need only to add a few words to remind the consumer that the magnet is a bit strong and need to be pried open using fingernail or similar tool.I hope my disappointment up front will be compensated by a satisfactory use experience down the road. Yet I doubt it, based on my experience with Watch 3, which advertised as having blood pressure feature, yet two years later today, that feature is still not available, at least not on my Watch 3.Update 2 days later: A good piece of news is that I found out that the charger for my Watch3 can be used to charge Watch5 Pro. And the bad is that after market chargers that can be used for my Watch3 cannot be used for Watch5 Pro, in that when I put Watch5 Pro onto a charger of that kind, it would indicating charging for a while, maybe one minute or 2, and then a yellow triangle warning sign would pop up, probably indicating that damage may occur if I continue to charge that way. Anyway, Samsung should have provided the essential charging pad adapter upfront, or at least precaution the buyer of the need. I’ve been using Samsung products for more than a decade and have never come across a product that cannot be used when received, unless additional item(s) be purchased.

I’ve had plenty of different Galaxy watches…might keep this one! LOL

I’ve had the Watch Active 2, a few of them actually, Watch 4 & 5 now this. Battery life is great but maybe not good enough for me considering I don’t use it all the time but does seem to die in maybe 2 days? For the battery size it should go longer. Either way, I was going to trade it in for the Watch 6 classic but considering that watch has an even smaller battery, I’ll pass. Still love this thing though.

Nice, but overpriced for what you get

This watch was made to pair with the Samsung Galaxy. It pairs well and the phone feature works well – although it still feels odd talking into your phone like Dick Tracy (if you are old enough to know who that is). Reading texts is great but answering on the watch is clumsy at best. It seems to work generally best if you input information from your phone and access from watch…entering information on the watch is clumsy. Not all apps on the watch will run on the phone, so the watch is not a substitute for the phone. The speaker is ok for voice but not poor for music. The heart monitor function works well but requires you to be very still while it is making the measurements. I bought the Pro version but I don’t think now that it was worth the premium price – my wife got the ‘standard’ version and the only real difference is the battery life.

    Actually a good watch!

I have a medium size wrist, this looks ok on it and not too big. Which is great. Battery is above average, lasts 2 full days with EVERYTHING turned on.ECG took a while to figure out but works ok.Sleep tracking is weird, sometimes its good sometimes it misses wakeup if i stay in bed after waking up. Snoring detection is just useless, never detects my snoring for some reason (planty to detect there… hehe)Overall a good watch.

Everything is intuitive and works as it should.

I’ve used a couple other smart watches of lesser value and had issues with the functionality and navigation. I have been using this watch now for a month and I’m very happy with it. I’m not using the cellular activation only the Bluetooth. I pair it with my Samsung Galaxy s23 ultra. I don’t like carrying my phone around with me when I’m doing my workout or fixing things around the house . This allows me to get all my notifications and incoming phone calls . It handles notifications from various apps perfectly, controls my Bluetooth speaker in the garage and monitors my health status without errors or issues. Navigating the watch screen is very intuitive. I love all the different watch face selections and customizations you can do. I’ve added a black cover and screen protector to my watch and they fit very well. The magnetic clasp is super convenient to pop the watch off and on when needed. So far I’ve been able to use it in my workouts and daily activities and it hasn’t gotten damaged or fallen off. I sleep with the watch on so it can monitor my sleep and because it also has a do not disturb function that prevents the watch from lighting up at night if I move around. Cleaning it is fairly simple and the bands just pop right off with a little lever underneath the watch. I use the built in water tight function when I’m washing it. The battery life is pretty good. If I put it on battery saving mode I can run it for about 4 days between charges. If I turn off battery saving mode which basically just allows you to bring the watch up to eye level and it will turn on the sceen, it will run for about 2-3 days Very happy with this purchase and would recommend this watch.

    Simple, untuitive, functional…perfect!

After owning a Fitbit I swore off smartwatches. My experience left me feeling ripped off due to marginal quality and function…a glorified HR monitor that worked poorly. Thank goodness for Samsung! I’ve been a loyal customer for years…best value, bang for buck, company in the world…good for them! A true life enhancing companion/tool. Noone should allow a freaking watch to tell them how they feel…an operator issue not a watch or tech issue. As a tool it works! It improves the quality of my life used as intended. It does what it claims and does it better than I even expected. My wife does not wear watches, neither do I most of the time…until now. Thanks again Samsung! Thanks for another great product. I dont even need to consider anything else. TVs, loved them for many years. Washer and Dryer, clothes are always clean. What other company improves my daily life like Samsung? None!

Perfect Combination with Galaxy S23 Ultra

Though I haven’t really had this watch long enough to be giving too much of an review, I decided that I am still going to review it and edit as needed because I am already in love with this watch. First things first, for those that are having trouble downloading the Samsung health monitor app for this watch, just click on the Samsung health monitor app icon inside of the watch and then check your phone to follow up on the download from there. I am hearing a lot of people talking about the blood pressure sensor with this watch, so far I haven’t found that yet as I am still going through the watch and getting to know it at the same time, if by chance I do find it and it doesn’t work like I’m hearing it doesn’t in the United States, I’m not going to worry too much because as long as the option is there, there’s hope through updates, something you will need to do time you get this watch through the Galaxy Wearable app. I will still continue to use my Galaxy Watch 4 42mm for work, and being though this watch is bigger and more elegant, it’s going to be the one that I wear on my off days to have something decent to wear when I go out to a nice place. I was having a extremely hard time getting this gem paired with my Galaxy S23 Ultra, but after awhile I noticed that this was due to fault of my own for not realizing at the time that I had to disable my ad blocker/VPN. After this was done everything went smooth from there, so do keep this in mind when setting up this watch. I am hearing other say that this watch will not work with other phone brands, people…. it’s a Samsung watch, it was made and meant to be paired with Samsung products particularly Samsung Galaxy phones. This is only normal for anything, whereas you wouldn’t pair this watch with a iPhone nor would you pair a Apple Watch with a Samsung Galaxy phone. They were meant to be matched up with their own brands. At last, at last….. a product that doesn’t say “Made in China”, this watch should last for years people. It has far more features than my Galaxy watch 4 with the rotating bezel which is cool to have but not all that, because it feels that one day, it’s going to play out. With this gem, I don’t have to worry about that because there is no rotating bezel. The only thing that I don’t like so far is that Samsung replaced their own store with Play Store making it hard, if not impossible to get my purchased watch faces downloaded to this watch. “Update”, after having this watch longer and getting to know it better I can say that this was a very good purchase made. It’s so many things that Samsung has upgraded on this one. It has a much better GPS system in place that seems to work pretty much like the same system that’s inside the Galaxy S23 Ultra, that “ultra wideband” feature. Even when I sleep in the watch, the battery lasts for days, also pretty much like the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The two combined couldn’t be a better pair, both are very similar. This watch has seemed to have added some extra features in the Samsung health app. The sleep part of the watch is very accurate, far better than my first generation Galaxy watch. This thing is a must have. Getting just a bit personal, I do wish that Samsung had made this watch bigger, say…. 48mm. However, it still do what it do. This thing has even got Google Assistant. I will gladly recommend this watch to anyone in search of a awesome smartwatch with all the bells and whistles, not to mention the latest technology. Who said that you can’t have your cake and eat it to.

It’s no Apple Watch, but the Battery is out of this world.

I spent a year testing the iPhone 13 pro Max, and the Apple Watch Series 7, and I fell in love with that watch. By far the best experience with a watch, especially comfortability. But, the battery life was just so bad. I switched back home to Android when the s23 Ultra came out, and so I had to get the latest watch naturally. I chose the pro because of it’s advertised amazing battery life, thinking it was a gimmick, I really didn’t care if it was true or not, I just wanted a watch for my new phone. Well, so far the watch has been amazing, the new style band it has is very nice, the screen not having a rotating bezel does suck, but I’m not really complaining, just a minor gripe. The onscreen touch bezel works just fine, the screen being a little recessed is slightly annoying, but tolerable. The Battery life is out of this world, I have active workout tracking, heart rate monitoring every 10minutes, count step tracker, sleep tracker, activity tracker going full time, brightness is on max, and always on display is on full time. after a 9 hour shift at work, my battery is at 75% still, it’s truly amazing with battery life. Still can add music, to it, the speakers are about the same as any other galaxy watch. I do like you can make customized notifications, and send them to your watch. It’s an excellent watch, could be a little cheaper though, giving it 4 stars because price is too high still. But, the watch itself is a 10/10

Watch 5 Pro USED was the right call for me

Opted to save a huge amount of money in trying the “Used-good condition” option and I was astonished at the perfect condition it was in when I received it. Even had the protective film over the watch face. Packaged exactly as new. It has performed flawlessly and I am more than happy with the purchase. Battery life is excellent, much better than even GW6 models. Titanium case and sapphire crystal are quality touches. Bio sensors are quite accurate. Overall a big win. Recommended!

Good enough, but could be better

I like many others didn’t do my homework and purchased this watch to act as an early warning system in case my blood pressure fluctuates. I knew this watch couldn’t do blood pressure readings everywhere but it didn’t occur to me that the good ‘ole USofA was one of those counties. I get why the FDA is draging their heals on this since lawyers are abundant here, but it would be nice if Samsung could offer this as a “use at your own risk, no liability until we are FDA approved” disclaimer since this red tape is just BS getting into a perfectly logical use case that shouldn’t be legal binding in the first place (it’s a blood watch…..) I knock this product one star since they shouldn’t be shipping it with the watch band that it comes with, I get it, it’s fancy and unique…. great then again some people are allergic to materials like that and *everyone* is going to sweat like a facuet with that material glued to their wrist. I have a nice after market metal band that breaths and the watch is adjustable magnetically so I question why you didn’t just offer something like that from the get go instead of the “science experiment glued by sweat to your wrist”.The lack of blood pressure monitoring in the states would have dropped this to 3 stars (I know they don’t advertise it so aggressively anymore, I didn’t do my homework so that’s on me), but at least I found a new use for the watch in the mean time while my fingers are crossed the FDA finally approves these things handy things given folks like myself are not looking for accruracy but early warning my blood pressure is going off the rails so I can strap a proper monitor on my arm and try to doogie howard my way through it. Getting a health problem all at once isn’t helping things and I wish the FDA would recognize that, it’s not like we have blood pressure cuffs strapped on oursleves 24/7 ….. I constantly have my cell phone on vibrate mode and I often miss calls and other notifications as a result. Having a “Dick Tracy gadget” strapped to my wrist is notifying me of all kinds of stuff that went under my radar previously. I think my 4 stars is valid, they jumped the gun and marked this product inresponsibly just like the 4 series when it comes to BP measurements, but upon review I don’t see anything on this page that suggest blood pressure monitoring was a thing as of the time of my purchase so I think it was a bit slimmy in the early days I don’t think anyone doing their homework who has common sense would be tricked by some old out of date claims they read online. My only Samsung ask……. hire some lobbists or something to speed things up…… I know dealing with the goverment (FDA) is a nightmare but your (much cheaper competitors) are sliding past somehow so greese some skids, this is murica! PS, thanks for not making my recent galaxy watch 5 pro purchase not instantly obsolete with the 6 series 🙂

    Galaxy 5PRO lte

Bought this phone on Amazon but have service with Verizon.the cost was minimal to have service with verizon with it paired with my phone and sharing the same number. I have it paired with a galaxy S23 ultra. This is my first experience with a smart watch, had it about a week now. When I got the phone I was wondering what it can do with and without the phone. When it’s with the phone it paired with the phone and calls go through the phone I can still talk and hear over the watch, can answer the phone with watch or phone and can switch what I’m talking over. When the phone is not there or off I can answer and make calls on the watch stand alone. I paired it with a set of ear bud 2’s. I also paired it with my car. Only one at a time, but it has a menu to go back and forth. Was able to play music with the ear buds or through the media player in my car, could not get music through the watch speaker. Accidentally got in shower with it didn’t stay long don’t know if it got wet or not took it off right away, but it survived. Have not used much of her apps yet only added Spotify for using at the suggestion of a Friend, first experience of using phone for music. Still like cd’s. I cant tell you much about other features yet. I don’t think the heart monitor is as fast as a dedicated monitor like polar but it does measure it. It comes with it’s own magnetic charger, no plug in though. I’d suggest getting a second one and keep it in the car,the strap gets in the way of putting it on a regular cordless charger. Hope this helps if your looking at a galaxy watch. By the way it’s only $20 more for the lte version over the blue tooth one and can still be used just with the watch if you chose not to use the stand alone phone features.
