The reason why VITURE ecosystem is the best!

One tip for all the users, get GApps first, it is listed on VITURE academy page. The Neckband is one of the reasons why VITURE ecosystem is so far ahead in this market, basically, it is an Android TV on the go, but what I like is the freedom that I completely enjoy while using the glasses, I also enjoy how easy it is to watch 3D movies; however I recently purchase iPhone 15 because of VITURE, and with their SpaceWalker and XR adapter, it is even easier! I enjoy everything VITURE offers, please keep up the great work!

    Portable Entertainment!

The thing that attracted me to VITURE was this Neckband!I already own an Nvidia Shield TV and I’ve used Chromecast, so I knew that I would have a great experience streaming games, movies, and TV! For example, you can download streaming services like GeForce NOW, Moonlight, ShadowPC… and of course, apps like Netflix. The Neckband is so light weight that I kept forgetting that i had it on!Sure, there’s some room for improvement (like a more punchier processor and larger battery) BUT, for a first-of-its-kind device, this is amazing! I loaded up a few movies and TV shows before boarding a flight and I never once had to jump onto the airplane’s wifi! Plus, I was able to keep it charged with my battery bank while I was using it on the long flight! And while I was bored in the terminal, I was streaming games from my home desktop!

    Gets really hot

Just wrote review of the glasses. They really need this neckband to be functional, but it it TERRIBLE. Gets really hot, very fast. Fan noise is really loud. It annoys you and everyone around you. I returned the unit because it was too buggy for what it cost.

Airpods Pro will not work with these.

The bluetooth connection and sound will drop frequently. That makes it unusable for watching any content with the Airpods Pro. I’ve never had connection issues with other devices like this before, and that leads me to believe it’s a flaw with the neckband itself. I feel like you NEED noise cancelling headphones while using this. The fan noise is ridiculously loud when you’re watching any video. With poor bluetooth connection issues, the product is basically useless to me. It’s a shame, because I think this would be amazing for privacy and watching movies in bed.

Awesome for Gaming and Streaming Shows!

I have the XREAL Beam which is great but the VITURE One Neckband does it better when it comes to consistently connecting to things wirelessly. The X-box Connect feature is awesome that allows me to play games while I sit next to my wife and she enjoys a television program.

The VITURE XR Glasses have completely transformed my XR experience. With the easy attachment mechanism of the neckband, I can easily download my favorite apps & APKs.Love walking around with this must have dynamic combo!

    Not there yet

Clunky to use, very slow laggy interface. The glasses work better with just an iPhone 15. This device is loud and doesn’t offer anything better than attaching to a phone. The Xbox and PlayStation apps looked worse than running the same apps on iPhone. I returned it as it didn’t offer anything worthwhile.

Can’t use half the apps advertised

Bought this to watch ESPN (as shown in ad) and the app doesn’t exist. When I try to go through the browser it tells me ESPN needs an app, as stated above the app doesn’t exist.

“Ah yeah, it’s pro gamer time!”

The first time a friend saw me put this on he teased “Ah yeah, it’s pro gamer time” but this thing is no joke — I already have it set up to connect automatically to my PS5 and my gaming PC at home (plus all the streaming services I use) and it’s like I have my entire media library with me in my bag at all times.

I love that it came with PSPlay for free, that’s a big bonus (it’s just so much smoother than the default PS Remote app), and having all the apps in one interface feels so sleek and easy to use. I just found out that I can also update the glasses’ firmware directly from the menus as well as adjust the speed of the fan! Super convenient. The way it folds up for storage is nice too, but now I think I need to get one of those charging cases they have on their website! 😅

    Solid hardware, software is growing

Honestly after having it I now understand why they suggested waiting for the complete package. The unit greatly makes things easier to watch movies and set things up. Wish some things were more streamlined like setting up passwords but was able to download all streaming apps. Got kind of hot as a unit but also it was hot outside in general. I was also stressing it to the limit. Love the ability to play shows in a smaller video. Looking forward to more updates and new features! Charging case is such a nice feature as well. So nice to get that as a bonus as a preorder. Very glad I went with matte blue. I think the most promise for this is that the software seems to be continually updated, and that is what I look forward to most. Where will this product be in a year. Right now it still delivers everything you need for basic entertainment use, but the potential is so, so much more.

Game changer! Game and media on the fly!!

The VITURE Glasses and neckband combo have unlocked a new level of gaming for me! They have allowed me to game and view media on the fly and in all sorts of scenarios. It’s all sorts of warm fuzzies when you can just log into your xbox or ps5 from anywhere you have internet. I love watching mlb on them, it feels like your there at the stadium. I really like being able to move around and be productive while watching something and not just couch locked and neck cramps. So far their products have been stellar and their customer service helpful and quick. I look forward to following them as they grow and put out new and innovative tech!

    Essential add-on

I purchased the Viture XR glasses from the company directly, and it took two weeks to get here! The neckband is a gift purchase on Amazon from my partner, and only took two days. The glasses worked perfectly and it’s really a marvel how clear and crisp it is and absolutely no screen door effect. It is really a portable external monitor for my iPhone 15 Pro Max (USB C finally!), but the neckband is the game changer. It is very light on my neck and the mag connect cable is effortless. After setting up the network and bluetooth keyboard and controllers, I went down my list. I activated all my streaming channels, activated my geforce go and linked it to my Steam account and I was playing Half-life 2 with my premium subscription. It is something I dreamed of, and now it’s reality. The caveats are that a fast wifi or 5G connection is needed and the server load at peak times. I also realized I will never be a controller user for games, so I’m back to the bluetooth keyboard and mouse setup. The other thing I noticed was the visual difference, with my iPhone, I was a bit disappointed. Being micro oled, I was expecting deep blacks, but more graphite. Netflix was great, but the dynamic range in color was slightly muted. On the neckband is a completely different story. The blacks were truly black and the colors are much richer. Youtube 4k is really mesmerizing, especially the star fields I watch before going to bed. I am rather awestruck by the visual quality. You can also adjust the screen position and reduce the screen to display at any of the corners when you need to see the outside world. The 3d I haven’t worked out yet, but the demo is impressive. Some complain about feeling motion sickness. I haven’t experienced that, but I have an iron stomach. The speakers on the glass are pretty good, but I use my bose quiet comfort headphones which are a great pairing, no pun intended. The fan does come on regularly, and you will hear it if you’re using the speakers on the glasses, but it’s tolerable. It has a 3 hour battery life. I got a 10000 mah mag safe charger with works well at extending the life of my phone and the neckband by several more hours.I took the glasses and neckband out in public. I watched a series on the train, and the electrochromic darkening is instant and awesome! The glasses themselves are 1800 nits, which blows away other glasses at 500-600 nits. In daylight it is a translucent image, and can be made increasingly opaque with the darkening, but you can also use a lens cover which is separate for $10. Why it was not automatically included beats me.The true test is this-I wore them in public and no one noticed! That is the barrier that must be broken with VR headsets. The best wearable tech is one that can fit seamlessly into your everyday life and be an option your normal devices can’t offer-a large clear private movie theater and monitor for productivity, browsing, video content, and discrete gaming on-the-go. I have the Meta Quest 3 and I would feel ridiculous wearing it outside of the house. Also the Viture glasses are definitely much sharper. I am going to get the prescription option for $20.This is the future and Viture has made that step towards it. It’s an expensive setup and it’s really for early adopters, avid gamers, and futurists. I just happen to be all three. They are great products as far as design, quality, and aesthetics. The unboxing is a treat! My review is my own and I have no affiliation beyond loving their products. They offer a more complete ecosystem of apps and services than the others.

    Go for it!

Purchased it from the company directly. The amount of streaming apps in the library is amazing. The interface is easy to use. Viture has its own mouse app for your phone, and when connected via by it’s even more convenient to use. I even ordered the neck band charging case, which is a marvel in itself, and a god sent if you fly a lot, and the plane doesn’t offer electrical outlets. It was able to recharge my neck band about 3 times, before I had to recharge the case. I recommend the whole system. It’s awesome that I can play my PS5 games through remote play on the neck band.

I have mine on all day because I also have a battery pack to charge it while I’m using it. Love the compactness of the set up and ease of use.The customer service is on top of all questions and I had a lot in the beginning but they were right there.I’ve seen some complaints about the fan noise but it needs the fan and it just blends in after a while you don’t even notice it.

    Good with some minor issues

Likes: comfortable around the neck. Easy to move around with. Extra features when compared to connecting to phone or other devices. Works perfectly with the glasses as expected. Great customer service.Dislikes: too much Bluetooth earbud lag for gaming (200 to 300ms). Tried multiple earbuds (including gaming specific) with similar lag. No lag when just using the glasses speakers though. Short battery life (2 hrs gaming streaming, 3 hrs video streaming)Overall: good device with some minor drawbacks. Would still recommend if you are ok with these minor issues.

Many benefits, biggest being a battery saver for your phone!

I will keep this review brief as most of the highlights I have already made clear on the xr glasses’ page on amazon already, but I will emphasize the following specifics to clarify some questions/concerns:For me personally, I do audibly hear the fans on this neckband when putting it under load, however for me it is easy to tune it out with the audio on max of whateer I am doing. In addition, the neckband does support bluetooth which adds flexibility for using earphones. Additionally, there IS a setting for quiet mode, howver however I would recommend against it as it allows for the neckband to generate heat which can result in droppped quality of whatever you are doing and/or potential heat damage.Aside from that, this neckband is like a portable chromecast/firestick with most of the essentials and options for remotely playing games and/or air casting content from other smart devices. There is a setting where you can double tap a button and the screen goes to an assigned corner of your vision similar to PIP, which is nice! Overall I am glad I picked these up to pair with my Viture One’s!!

    not prime time yet.

Pairing with the glasses, the “pin” mode is what I really want but it’s just not working well. For the pinned image, when you move around, unlike a pair of VR glasses where the whole image stays, the image on Viture would disappear as you move your head to create an illusion of your head turn away from the screen. it’s really annoying since the pinned image is small. the wireless mirror function also doesn’t work with my Samsung Z fold 4. the image would tear apart whenever I move. plus the neckband has a fan running all the time so it gets even more annoying after a while. I hope the next version (or updated software) would be smoother. Until then, I’ve decided to return it.

Noisy and another gadget to setup

I like the neckband, but I have 2 problems with:1. NoiseEven in its “quiet mode” still noisy, this could be fine, but in an age where powerful laptops don’t need fans it just does not makes sense to have a fan on all the time (even for gaming)2. More setupSince is an independent device, you will have to setup all your accounts again here, for all “apps” you download from the app store (would be great a seamless integration with the viture app (allow to use these services kinda of approach)

Works as functions when it works

This thing, is super cool. But, I have the most ridiculous time getting it to turn on half the time. Sometimes the power button repsonds to one hit, no hits 30 hits. And the apps won’t respond to the “okay” button such as needing to update crunchyroll (which unfortunately hasn’t happened) and needing to sing in on YouTube.

  31. Travis Bolt

    3.0 out of 5 stars

Could be better with some tweaks. Overall not the worst addition.

Fan is quite noisy even before loading any apps up but there is an option to lower the speed at the expense of higher heat levels. The USB-C port can only be used for charging OR for attaching peripherals, not both at the same time. The smallest screen size for ambient mode is still rather large and blocks your view.If you have an android already, the only real reason to use this with your glasses is if you want to free up your phone or save on battery. After using it for a little while longer I will say it is a little more streamlined to use this over my phone. Also the customer support is pretty good.

A Must-Have Accessory – Viture One Neckband is Fantastic!

The media could not be loaded.

The VITURE One Neckband computer IMHO is the true star of the entire VITURE line of accesories! It is an innovative peice of wearble tech that provides an alternative interface to your phone for the Viture One XR glasses and enables wireless connections to other devices such as PC’s, Tablets, and phones as well as built in media and gaming experiences while on the go. It’s compact, lightweight, and rests comfortably around the neck, ensuring that the glasses remain unburdened by additional weight or a long dangling cord.I recently reviewed the entire VITURE One product line, which you can see on my channel (vrgamerdude on YouTube), and I liked this Neckband computer so much I decided to come here and get another one for my wife to use so she would stop stealing mine all the time ;)If you are buying or already have a set of the VITURE One XR glasses then I would consider this a MUST HAVE accessory!

    Great Multi-Media Add-On!

I bought this unit to make my Viture XR One glasses more mobile to use. I don’t do any major gaming anymore at my age but can certainly see the attraction to those that do via Playstation or Xbox gaming networks since both are natively supported by this unit.I love that I can have all of my favorite streaming apps in this, Netflix, Hulu, Apple+, Paramount+ Peacock and Disney+ all ready to stream anytime I need them. Now I admit getting used to using the D-Pad to type is really tricky but I bought a pocket sized USB-C re-chargeable keyboard, trackpad combo to use for that and it makes the whole experience much easier. With the fact that some of the streaming apps now allow you to download content to watch when you have no connection say on a plane or anywhere else where internet is not available you can still watch your content with the glasses and this unit combined with no problems and have a very rich experience. The cooling fan is a little loud but not enough to tune out once you are used to it and you can set it to a quieter mode but then run the risk of the unit getting warmer.I enjoyed the nice weather on my front deck last night and caught up on my episodes of Star Trek Lower Decks with this along with my glasses and had a very enjoyable viewing experience and this unit charges fairly fast with a USB-C cable and a good power source, which is another win as I love that all my major traveling tech is now USB-C for charging now that I have the new iPhone 15 Pro Max.You also can surf the web and check your Gmail on this unit and access your Youtube channel or catch up with the latest content from all your subscribed channels on the go as well!

Super Useful, Ahead of its Time

The Neckband compliments the Glasses extremely well, very useful and chocked full of features. It’s like having a computer around your neck! For those that complained about no access to Google Play Marketplace Apps, ironically a simple Google search will provide instructions on how to install MULTIPLE App Markets unto the Neckband pretty easily.

    Where do I start

Buggy and just keeps crashing. Hard to reset as you have no idea if the reset is working or not (as there is no screen), and sends no signal to glasses when it’s bad. Hold the button for 20 seconds or so and hope it comes back, maybe will maybe not. Updated to latest firmware, and it still crashes. It’s not worth it. Just hook up to an iPhone (or some other device) and do all this buggy AndroidTV does.

This lets you go fully remote for gameplay and streaming

It’s easy to wear and operate, but the performance of the networking is irregular. I’m sending it back, it doesn’t really solve any problems for me that aren’t solved better already; I have a Backbone controller for my phone but most of the time I am wearing them plugged into a Steamdeck.I paired the neckband with a Dual Sense 2 controller, and used PSPlay to Remote Play to my Playstation 5 downstairs. It worked and there were no problems, until I started playing games and the fans would kick on and the network would stutter and drop frames. I wasn’t expecting competitive play from this but it was impacting the experience enough that I grabbed my Steamdeck and Chiaki4Deck instead.

Hands down best accessory for XR Glasses

As the title says, I think this is a great accessory to XR glasses. I got this and the Viture One glasses for Christmas and love it. The interface is nice and the connectivity is great. I stream games from my PC to it and it has an excellent connection. The gamestreaming is buttery smooth. It’s much better than my Galaxy Tab S7. It also has relatively low latency to my Bluetooth earbuds. When compared to a connection with my phone (Galaxy S20+ running Dex), the Bluetooth output lag is much improved.Being that this goes around your neck, it’s always accessible for you to pause, turn up the volume, or control in some other way. I think the idea to make it into a neckband was a great idea for those reasons. There also aren’t any cords hanging down for you to catch on something or to get wrapped around you.My two complaints would be the magnetic connector (which has been fixed with the new USB-C adapter) and the battery life. The battery life isn’t terrible, but for me, it has only lasted about 3 hours. This isn’t unacceptable, but it would have been nice if it had been longer. I realize that fitting a bigger battery into this form factor would have been difficult, but I would have settled for a larger device with a bigger battery. It’s best to keep it charging whenever not using to extend battery life between uses.Since the USB-C adapter is on preorder still, I can’t say how well it works with other XR glasses yet, but I plan to find out when it ships. I have some XReal Air 2 glasses to try it with when I get it. I hope most of the same functionality is there, but realize that it may not be. Even if it turns out to just work as a media center for a different pair of XR glasses, that will be good enough for me.

    Must have

If you already have the Viture glasses but not the neckband, I would highly suggest to get one! It’s been great so far. I have all my apps that I use all on the neckband. Easy to setup and there are features that the neckband has that the Viture alone doesn’t. The image quality seems a lot better to me as well for some reason with these. Setup was super easy and straightforward. The neckband is really lightweight as well. There were times where I forgot I had the neckband on. One thing about it is the fan can get loud, but there’s actually an option to quiet the fans, which works fantastic when I’m streaming media. I wouldn’t use quiet fans if you are streaming games though as it could get really hot. Definitely worth the purchase

Can’t install apps/third party app store

In past reviews I’ve seen for the band people where using the Google Play store TV version but it seems you now only get a third party store called aptoideTV and installing apps from there is extremely iffy at best. Casting also doesn’t seem to work. I can’t get my PC or phone to detect the glasses at all so the band is pretty useless. Best to just use your phone with the glasses.

Fire stick for you’re Vituture one glasses

It basicly a battery powered fire stick for you’re Vituture one glasses (not an actual fire stick and not made by amazon) but what it does is alow you to use all the major streaming services on an android powered device that you wear around your neck that connects directly to the glasses. Running full screen size which is the equivalent of a 28 inch monitor at your desk, a 80 inch from 6 feet, 120, from 10 feet and so on. The size is perception, but it is amazingly clear the battery will last about 3 hours, but you also have the option of making the screen smaller and putting it in a corner so you can focus on other tasks while streaming your favorite show. It also offers a quite mode that turns down the speed of the fan, but I don’t use that because I don’t think the fan is loud and I want the battery will last longer. And lastly amongst all of its times you can use it. Laying in bed at night with your spouse, she wants the TV of, you want it on. Slip these guys on and you’re watching TV and she isn’t, and she can’t hear you because there is very little sound Leake with their speaker system. Can’t say enough good things. Oh, and screen mirroring from your phone. It goes on…

Updated review, much better after fixing

First off, the customer service viture provides is definitely better than many companies. There are a few things they’ve recently recommended to try to make the experience better and I will update my review if any of those improve the experience. The links they sent actually did help quite a bit, after going through some of the extra steps they sent, I was able to log into my YouTube and I was able to access my Netflix downloads after being offline. I’m still unable to get the psplay working appropriately but it has made the experience much better. The customer service really helped me.My review at first was : So far, This neckband is entirely unnecessary. It is loud doesn’t have a very long charge, and is a poor excuse for what was presented as a “computer on your neck“ it will access YouTube. That being said, I found it almost impossible to login to YouTube. It’s also worth noting every time I downloaded something for off-line viewing, on other apps, it would act as if it had been on the device for over the allotted time and immediately would say expired and it would not renew, overall experience using this is difficult to say the least and if you have a phone from this century, it is not worth buying.

    Neckband is great after updating

The neckband took time getting used to in the end it’s been a great experience. In 3d mode the 3D mode is only limited RGB not Full RGB hopefully an update would fix that so the Neckband can support full RGB when switching to 3D mode. Anyways the Neckband PC game streaming and Cloud gaming has been great so far over WiFi. Movies as well.Glasses – 120 inch OLED on the goReally like the design and functionality of the Viture XR glasses. The 3-D mode works great and has a shading mode to darken the glasses. However, it’s only 60 HZ refresh rate screens. Hopefully it will get a firmware update to improve the refresh rate to 70hz or 120hz refresh rate, keep up the good work Viture!

Neckband – Entertainment at your fingertips!

I received my glasses first and was amazed at the quality and what they could do. But THEN I received the neckband and WOW! It brought the experience to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL! You can do so much more with the neckband and I love the software apps already available. The variety of content you can play is awesome and with the ability to download more and browse the internet is a huge benefit. I love how they even have the ability to play 3d games and videos! There is even the capability to emulate game systems which I had no idea until I got into it. The neckband looks great and is lightweight too! It takes a little getting used to where the buttons are and what they do but you quickly get the hang of it. There is a ton of customizations that you can do on this thing to make it just how you want in any environment. I have only had mine for a few days but am really liking it so far! No Regrets. The only mistake I made was letting my wife try it out too….SHE WOULDN’T GIVE IT BACK! 😢😋. Thanks Viture! Really Great Product!👍🏻

    Great 4 disabled people

“I have been a quadriplegic for 16 years. Boredom and holding devices to combat said boredom has always been difficult. Technology is incredible. These glasses and accompanying hardware have changed the way I am able to watch my favorite shows and even play my indie games while laying in bed or in the car, on the move. For me, that’s huge. I’m 32 and just am having our third child… being able to use the glasses and have a giant screen while being able to watch the kids is prime. The team behind the product is incredible and attentive. Thanks Viture.”

    As Advertised

Neckband – As advertisedThese were as good and better than I expected based on the Kickstarter. Felt like a kid at Christmas. Was super surprised at the lack of latency when streaming from my home PC even when 3 states away. I do streams for a living so not having noticeable delay was a completely unexpected surprise but a welcome one. I talk about these to everyone I meet- I should be getting commission! Customer service was very responsive and took care of any concerns very quickly. All around best entertainment purchase I’ve ever made.

    Amazing VITURE Accessory

The Viture Neckband is the perfect accessory to pair with my VITURE AR glasses. I use it to connect to my NAS which is filled with my favorite 3D movies, music and music videos that are accessible anywhere. I can also seaminglessly connect to my streaming media platforms and Playstation and Xbox game consoles. Even better, I can increase the volume, modify the picture and control the other neckband controls with my Bluetooth Game Controller. A must have addition!

    A must have

Honestly blown away by this. When going on trips I just download some Netflix content and watch it on the flights. Also the Xbox and PlayStation streaming works perfectly. I use it anytime I want to play video games while my wife watches tv. I highly recommend getting the charging case with it as well as it is extremely handy.

    Neckband is the game changer!

Neckband is such a gamer changer! For those new, make sure you get the Gapps first, which is listd in Viture discord. it might take some time to set up first, but after that the experience is amazing!

    Viture One Neckband Initial Impression

During COVID-19, I had the opportunity to work remotely from various locations, e.g., a resort hotel in Las Vegas, to escape the stress of cabin fever. I built up a repository of equipment to facilitate a seamless experience and to ensure high work productivity. One piece of equipment that eluded me is a sufficiently large portable screen to supplement the meager 13-inch on my MacBook Pro laptop.I researched extensively and finally settled on employing XR (Extended Reality) glasses like Xreal Air Pro 2, Rokid Max, or Viture One XR as wearable displays, providing a large viewing area, portability, and potentially multiple virtual screens.I shortlisted Viture One XR for my purchase. To connect my iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPad Pro 10.5-inch tablet, I opted for the Viture neckband versus the Viture adapter. The Viture representative assured me (over email) that Airplay is supported.Unboxing:The Viture neckband is packaged similarly to Apple products. Refer to the pictures below. The packaging is solid and made of quality materials. The Viture neckband case is made of fabric, which does not provide any protection; I recommend the purchase of Viture’s neckband charging case.Wearer Comfort:The Viture’s neckband weighs 194g; this weight is comfortable around my neck and does not cause any discomfort with prolonged usage (> 2 hours). The D-pad buttons are configurable; I recommend reorienting them immediately after the initial setup. The buttons are better spaced than on the XR glasses; however, stronger haptic feedback is still preferred. Ideally, the buttons are configurable, which will improve human interaction. The fan noise is loud; however, the XR glasses’ audio is sufficiently loud to cover the fan noise. Configuring the fan on quiet mode is not recommended as the neckband does become hot after an hour of streaming video.First Impression:According to Vitue’s representative, the Viture neckband is installed with Android TV version 11 with an UX overlay. The layout is minimalist and generally easy to navigate.A mixed bag experience when I tried to set the internet access for Viture’s neckband – the Viture’s neckband lost connectivity whenever my body was between the neckband and the wireless router. Holding onto that connectivity is also a difficulty, leading to my belief this is an antenna issue.Viture’s neckband provides a feature called headgaze navigation – using the XR glasses’ 3DoF (3 degrees of freedom), you can control a cursor inside the virtual environment with the confirm button on the D-pad for selection. This is a useful feature; the experience would be great if Viture provides a calibration function – sometimes, it takes a lot of effort to move the cursor across the screen precisely.Viture’s neckband supports ambient Mode (identical to Xreal’s sideview); I hope Viture will adopt Xreal’s spatial display vocabulary as it is much easier to comprehend. Besides ambient mode, Viture’s neckband offers an experimental feature where a long pressing of the setting button on the neckband will center the display. My experience with this feature is mixed as it is hard to get reliable behavior with the long press.Additionally, the neckband comes equipped with a limited set of Apps – the majority of the Apps are geared towards entertainment, e.g., Netflix, Prime etc, or gaming, e.g., PSPlay, XBXPlay. Fortunately, Viture’s Academy provides instructions on how to install Google Play App. Once Google Play was installed, I was able to access a larger category of Apps. The major downside is many productivity Apps, e.g., Google Chrome or Google Maps etc will not work in Android TV OS (this is not an issue with Viture’s neckband).Next, I watched the included 3D SBS videos using Viture’s 3D player successfully. I also tried to watch 3D programming on YouTube and the experience was mixed – some content was rendered in 3D correctly while others, failed. Viture’s representative clarified that Viture’s 3D player supports both full SBS and half SBS 3D content; however, I was not able to verify the claim on half SBS support. Viture currently does not support 3D OU content. One interesting encounter in the above experiment was how much effort it took Viture’s neckband to render Viture’s website. This was unexpected and might be a software defect with the TV Bro App; unfortunately, Google Chrome is not supported on Android TV OS so I didn’t have an alternative browser.I also attempted to watch Ad-supported movies on the YouTube app without any difficulty, indicating that Viture’s neckband supports HDCP.Next, I screen mirrored from my MacBook Pro (Intel chipset) and iPhone 12 Pro Max to Viture’s neckband. I was successful in screen mirroring from my MacBook Pro; it allowed me to set up Viture’s neckband as an extended display. Viewing 3D content (as usual) did not work. When I screen mirrored from my iPhone 12 Pro Max, the experience was poor – the connection would break when trying to play a video from the iOS YouTube App. Additionally, Viture’s neckband remote App could not find the neckband seven out of ten tries. iOS copy of SpaceWalker is limited unless you’ve Viture’s adapter connected to Viture’s neckband; this requirement renders Viture’s neckband useless in my productivity use cases as I need to carry around Viture’s neckband, adapter, and Apple digital AV adapter to get the full experience.Opinion:The Viture’s neckband was first available on 10/10/2023. The lapse time between its original release with my Thanksgiving purchase is roughly two months. At the moment, the ecosystem is immature with some serious defects to be ironed out.The lack of support for many productivity Apps on Android TV renders the Viture’s neckband useless for my use cases. I am returning the purchase in exchange for Viture’s adapter.
