Apple Makes solid Stuff I got this at the end of 2022. It is my 1st Mac computer and it has not failed to impress me. I would call myself a moderate home user with a growing interest in photography it has been fun to use, and as I continue to grow with it I’m extremely impressed with the fit & finish, and how intuitive it is especially as you grow in the Apple ecosystem. If your a Apple user you know if your not a Apple user…Just Jump in you won’t be disappointed just keep in mind that there is a transition but once the is passed a whole new pleasant experience begins and this keeps happening as you grow in the eco system …

Awesome battery life, great screen, and overall good laptop.
This is a great laptop to use for productivity, which is why I mainly purchased it. Has a reliable reputation, bright AF screen, sturdy chassis, 16gb ram is good enough for most users so it’s pretty damn fast, and just an overall well rounded computer. There are however a few things I do no like about the computer itself and macos. I come from a long line of window users and continue to prefer windows over macos.1.) The keyboard is so mushy! It’s so annoying to use. I own a 2018 MacBook Pro and I prefer the keyboard on that 1000 times over. It’s more response and tactile. I absolutely hate the keyboard on the macbook 14. I went out of my way to purchase a logitech craft keyboard and that’s amazing let me tell you.2.) The window splitting on macos is so stupid! I cannot have multiple windows open on the first attempt. I wish it was more like windows were you just drag them to the side and you split it! Boom that is so simple.3.) Macos does not support a lot of games, but that’s a pretty decent trade off I guess.4.) The price and the fact that for that price it’s not customizable.I mean there aren’t a lot of bad things about it but for the life of me I am unable to stand this pc when I need to have multiple excel spreadsheets and Adobe or Word documents open! I usually end up closing this pc in frustration and just use my blade 14! Now that’s a PC! Just wish the screen was oled or at least 4k, but it’s fine. I would prefer that over the macbook 14 anyway.

Upgraded from a 13″ 2020 MBP M1. Clunkier, but so far, so good!
Coming from a 13″ MacBook Pro with the M1, this has a chunkier, clunkier form factor, but I got it for one main reason: PORTS. The M1 couldn’t handle multiple screens, but this 14″ has multiple USB-C ports AND an HDMI port, which lets me hook up my two screens to it.PERFORMANCE hasn’t been all that noticeable for me, but my old one was really fast already, and I’m not rendering video. I use the Adobe Suite apps, and it handles them with no problems so far.The only LAG I’ve encountered is from the GOOGLE tabs on my browser. Gmail hogs TONS of RAM, and certain Google Sheets and Google Docs sometimes take over 4GB of RAM, for some reason. I have 16GB, but I maxed it out once and had to quit some, and it was fine. Not the Mac’s fault. It’s not you, it’s me, Mac.The NOTCH is totally fine. Don’t even notice it as it fits right into the file menu across the top of the screen.The SQUARED FORM is not my favorite, and the WEIGHT is substantially heavier than my old one, but I’m getting very strong!The BATTERY feels like it has shorter life, but, to be honest, I’m mostly on my charger, so I haven’t even drained it to see how long it goes. I’ve gone almost a whole day and been fine, though. On my M1, though, I could go a couple days of light use, easy. This one, not so much.It’s a great Mac. Super happy.

What’s not to love about it
Coming from a previous laptop owner that costed $500 from a different brand 4 years ago, the M1 Pro 14-inch is just incredible.Firstly, the battery life is honestly the best thing ever; my other laptop nowadays lasts about 2 hours (3 hours if I’m lucky) from a full charge, so coming from this to the MBP 2021 is a major change. And not to mention how quiet and amazing the performance is; my previous laptop was so loud due to the internal fans blasting from it trying to cool it down. This laptop also doesn’t get all that hot so I have personally never witness its fans on.In addition the built-in camera and speaker quality are top-notch. When I’m watching series or movies on this laptop, the sound quality blows past the speaker from my iPad. It might seem expensive at face value but when you can snag a good discount it is totally worth buying over the original M1 MBP. Would most certainly recommend buying!

Compre el equipo en color Plata con ocho cores es una belleza, muy rápida, la pantalla es nítida, el sonido se escucha más alto que otras laptops pero no llega a ser mejor que un altavoz inalámbrico, la batería me dura entre 6 horas y 8 horas de uso, no llega a las que pone apple hasta 11 horas he llegado pero con apps livianas, los puertos hdmi y sd son importantes ya Que los hub fallan y el MagSafe es algo que regresó para bien, solo le hace falta un usb a y seria perfecta, la cámara está bien pero no tanto como la de un iPhone Si deseas comprar una MacBook Pro esta es la indicada por sus puertos ram de 16GB y disco 500GB, sus ventiladores son una ventaja casi nunca se calienta, prefiero esta a una MacBook Air

Tengo ya casi 4 meses con esta laptop y ya ni toco la PC amenos que quiera jugar, para trabajar esto es una maravilla, su batería me dura prácticamente todo el día con varias terminales abiertas, mínimo 2 ventanas de VSCode, navegadores, etc. La pantalla es buenísima y sobre todo compila código mucho mas rápido que mi PC y eso que es alta gama.En el caso de la camara, esta se ve genial cuando tienes buena iluminacion en el cuarto, cuando esa condicion no se cumple la camara se ve a 720p.

I finally bought my first Apple MacBook Pro and I’m completely thrilled at all of the capabilities this machine has. It’s so sleek and epically cool. It’s a really amazing tool that I can see myself enjoying for a very long time. It has so many different options that just keeps you falling in love with it. I am so happy with my MacBook Pro. I thought it was going to be very difficult to use…. It was a piece of cake. It’s almost like using my iPhone, but instead it’s a 14inch screen with a scary speeds. You have to love everything there is about Apple products that makes them completely different from the other competitors. I’ve been an Apple girl since I made the transition from Android in 2017.

A few hours out of the box the thing froze. Fortunately, there was an option to reinstall the OS from the web. I ended up with the long process of setting it up twice. That was a bit unnerving.The Mac offers a vivid display on a par with the iPad, but not the sound volume and quality of the smaller device.

Great Computer!
I love this computer, however Amazon listed the computer as “like new.” I noticed the year warranty had expired, and the computer did not qualify for Apple Care. Through the Apple service center I found the computer was “refurbished” not “like new.” In addition the computer return date was fourteen days, not the usual thirty. I contacted the Amazon service department who had me submit my drivers license to verify myself. Once they verified that I was the individual who purchased the computer they said to call back in two days while they made a decision. If it wasn’t bad enough I had to call them, not the other way around they had not made a decision. The service center is outsourced in another country. They did not understand my request, I did not want to return the computer, I was trying to get a warranty. I felt deceive from beginning to end! I would have never purchased a refurbished computer. Amazon did not reveal the year warranty had expired. I didn’t qualify for Apple Care because you have to purchase Apple Care within sixty days of purchase. The computer is a 2021 M1 model, so the year warranty had expired due to the previous owner used itl I’ve done business for years with Amazon, and I can’t express how disappointed I am with such poor customer service with no resolve. I cancelled my Prime Visa, Prime Video, and now I’m contemplating cancelling Amazon!

Its every bit as good as I had hoped
I have been a Mac fan since the early 1990’s. This laptop (MBPro 14″, with M1 Pro chip, 16 GB DRAM and 1 TB SSD) is VERY fast, with excellent battery life and great portability. Build quality is as you would expect for a $2k system, very high. The display is gorgeous with great aspect ratio, keyboard is excellent, speakers are great, etc. The only slight nit is it seems a bit heavier and thicker than it needs to be, but really it is as close to perfect as you get. I have been using computers since the 1980’s and MacOS has always been easier to use than most alternatives. I administer many Windows 7/10/11 systems and Windows Server 2019/2022 systems for work, but prefer MacOS for my personal workstation. You literally could not pay me enough to use ANY other OS for my personal system. I have been using Unix since before Linux even existed (early 1980s), DOS before Windows existed, etc. There has never been an OS that is as reliable, easy to use while also supporting virtually every application you could ever need as MacOS.As an aside, I have tried running LogicProX with 20 – 30 plugins, etc and this sysem didn’t even start breathing hard. I also have a Mac Studio for home use, and although that system has the M1 Max CPU with 32 GB of RAM, I don’t see much difference between the performance of the systems. There are few workloads this laptop cannot handle.

The first Mac I’ve truly loved in years
I’ve been a dedicated Mac user since 1994. I’ve owned many over the years, but for the past decade, I’d had a string of “dud” MacBooks. I didn’t have any major issues that required repairs or anything like that, I was just consistently unimpressed and didn’t love my day-to-day experience of using them.The 2021 14″ MacBook Pro changed everything. Larger, brighter screen, faster processor (especially noticeable when rendering video in Final Cut), a genuinely good keyboard, very solid build quality, great design, and unbelievably good speakers. I mean, I really can’t overstate how impressed I am by the sound quality of the built-in speakers, especially the amount of bass and stereo separation.It’s also been quite a while since I’ve been willing to spend this much on a new Mac, although I did manage to snag it when Amazon had a $150 discount going on. But it was well worth the money. If your work involves spending hours in front of a Mac, you should enjoy it! And with this model, you will.

First MacBook… Perfect laptop but…
The media could not be loaded.
It’s my first MacBook, I’ve been a Windows user my whole life.I’ve been using it for 10 days and it’s fantastic, great battery, amazing sound, ProMotion and 4K HDR looks astonishing. Only have one little (big) complaint.I notice that on the display there are some tiny black dots, dead pixels, I called to Amazon (they have a 90-day warranty) but since it was not a software problem, they told me to solve it with Apple and it’s recommendation was to visit an authorized seller, that means that if I have to replace the display, I will stay 1 month without laptop.Very bad experience considering the price of the equipment, it arrived in perfect condition, new (I took advantage of the USD 400 discount from the sale) and the box in excellent condition too, I guess it’s a random issue, but to be aware of.I’m sure it’s a factory fault, I’m only afraid that the problem gets worse, meanwhile, I’ll try to ignore it.

Just what I needed: upgrade of my previous MacBook Pro after 7 years
I was waiting for the right opportunity to upgrade my faithful and reliable old MacBook Pro, which was the last MBP before the Touch Bar appeared. Since then, the MBP’s only seemed to have experimentations (Touch Bar; new keyboard spring system; etc), and unspectacular new intel processors. When the first reviews of the home-made apple chips of the “M” series came out, and the first reviews, I knew that the time was rife to change my MacBook Pro. NO REGRETS. Bought it with a good Black Friday deal, so it could not be a better deal. Great computer, and returned the MBP to its reputation of being ahead of the pack.

Remarkable
I haven’t upgraded my computer for more than a decade, so it would stand to reason any recent releases would impress me, but this macbook pro has gone above and beyond in the small time I’ve had it.The screen is truly something to behold. Smooth, clear, just beautiful. I don’t typically care about bezels, but I might start. The expanded screen makes an unexpected difference. Meanwhile, I barely notice the notch. Apple said they’d find workarounds to make it scarce, and they have.The speakers are wonderful as well. I was skeptical at first — thought I caught some tinny effects on a couple songs, but the more I listen to them, the more I’m convinced the tinniness was in the recording (it was a live album, which might explain it). As for the spatial audio, I’ve only heard a couple songs, but it’s pretty trippy. This is my first experience with it, and it doesn’t disappoint.In the short time I’ve had the computer, it’s been nothing but fast. Probably more computer than I need, so if you’re a sound editor or photographer, this review probably isn’t for you. But for those of you casual users who want a solid machine that will last (as I said, my last macbook pro made it more than a decade), this is the one. Excited as I was for my last macbook, I could see room for improvement at the time. Right now, I don’t see how things get better than this.

Excellent machine!
It took many years before deciding to get a new Macbook Pro. My 2014 machine was still doing really well. I was ready to catch up and benefit from the the latest technology with the Silicon M1 chip.I do audio production on a non Apple software platform. I wanted to be sure that software and audio drivers would work. I am also a content provider for a cooking show using FCP.This purchase was my first 14 inch as my previous machine was 15 inch.Though I miss the larger keyboard and screen, this 14 inch darling, is just that, darling. Sleek, lightweight and very nice to work on.I migrated my data and settings seamlessly form Big Sur to Monterey, no isues whatsoever.Lovely experience. Plus I saved close to 500 dollars from the retail price if I purchased it directly from Apple.I decided with the purchase savings, , to invest and download Apple’s Logic Pro audio software. Also lovely!Amazon is a great place to shop. This was an excellent purchase and a beauty of a laptop.Thanks.

Fantastic computer!
I had been getting the most out of my 11 year old MacBook Pro, but it was having a bit of trouble with the screen going on and off and it was time to replace it. I love that this computer is available with a 1TB SSD. Typing on this laptop is nice and smooth. It has a good feel to the keys and finger pad. I had a 15″ model previously, but this 14″ is just fine. Wonderful screen quality. Overall, the computer is fantastic!! Highly recommended.

Very impressed so far
I am a LONG time Windows user, at least since Windows 3.0. Yes that long ago. I consider myself a power user and have built all my computers for over 20 years, well, except for laptops. But I digress. This is my 5th laptop, various models up to 17 inch. My most recent, not included the Mac Book Pro, is a semi-recent Dell XPS13. I really like it a lot as it is very portable/light. The only real drawback is battery life/runtime. I’m lucky if I get 6-7 hours of casual use.I’ve read about how these MBPs are supposed to have great battery life. That, coupled with the great sale on this 2021 model prompted me to pull the trigger and get it. Still learning all the ins & outs of MacOS but I get things done easily enough. The display on this thing is fantastic and the battery life does not disappoint.If you’re on the fence about this purchase I would recommend you go for it. Apple doesn’t seem to have sales quite like this one. There is plenty of bang for the buck.

Faulty charging cord -Apple made me take over an hour trip to pick up a new one!
Received this and it worked fine for a couple of weeks then it would not charge. Apple first sent me (after an hour on the phone with support) a charging block. Still not charging. Another hour+ on the phone with support then sent the computer in to Apple for service. Received back in a charged state but it soon depleted (as the charger I had was defective). When you send the computer in for repairs, Apple does not allow sending accessories. On the phone for another session trying to get service. Apple sends box, and I send the computer in for service. Receive the computer back with another note that Apple could find nothing wrong with the computer. Scheduled an appointment to physically take the computer in (with the charging cord) to the Apple store which is 75 minutes away from me. After a 30 stay in the store, Apple did indeed determine that I had received a faulty charging cord with the brand new computer. Can there not be an allowance to send a new charging cord – especially when everything else has been ruled out – before the customer has to take a day and physically take the computer in to the store??? Because of this and the total of half a day spent on the phone for support, this product is receiving a low review.

Not So Great
I bought the 14″ to replace my 2014 macbook pro. The battery was not keeping but a few hours charge and the screen covering was awful.When I got the new 14,” I was surprised that it is not any bigger than my old 13.” The only difference is the black boarder around the screen is gone. Big whoop. It seems the same.I do like the key pad more than the old key pad – but other than that, battery life, and more storage, I wish I would have looked at one before I bought one because I would not have bought the new 14.” It seems no faster, no clearer, no better really than my old 2014. I should have simply replaced my old battery and saved the thousand plus for something to cheer about. This new mac purchase makes feel how one might after getting the car fixed – nothing new – just back to normal – but a out a bunch of cash. Such goes the not so glorious new 14″ macbook semi-pro.

Why Wouldn’t It Be An Apple
Only reason 4 Starts because, although marked PRIME it was not able to be delivered in the 2 days ! explanation – “it’s coming from warehouse further out”, will be delivered following week on Tuesday. It shipped late and so didn’t arrive until Wednesday. Otherwise, I love my purchase of the Apple 14″ Mac Book Pro (Silver). The graphics and sound are excellent and I am really liking the feel of the keys/keyboard and finger ID for login. It’s so much quicker and easier to use than the Lenovo Idea Pad that this Apple is replacing. Already had a Mac Desktop and as have iPhone so makes sense to switch laptop to Apple. Apple so much better, lasts longer, no virus worry or continual purchase of protection plans….LOVE IT !

Definitely a quality like none other.
Outstanding battery life, powerful even being entry level. Screen is high quality, but not what people make it out to be. The build quality compared to pretty much every other laptop is in a league of its own really. Just wish more games were available on MacOS.

Such an improvement from my 2015 model
I try to use my MacBooks until the very end of their usefulness, but I could not resist the sale price I was able to get on this 14” 2021 model. I could not be more pleased with my decision to upgrade. Every part of my experience with this MacBook has been phenomenal. The compact size and better resolution gives me a more portable device with almost no loss of real estate. I have been using the laptop for 2 days now and still have 30% of the battery left. The low profile keyboard is so much better for me too.

The perfect laptop
This is the perfect laptop for so many use cases. I use a lot of content creating apps and websites and this machine has not gotten hot once! Really one of the best purchases I’ve made especially in the computer space. I usually keep laptops for 6+ years and I do not see that changing with this one. However, there are a couple of drawbacks, if you need MS Access then you will need to use an emulator to run Windows on the laptop (Parallels does an awesome job of that) and some web file hosting applications still don’t work for M1 laptops like Box. So if Box is your file hosting solution in the office, it is not yet supported but they claim to be working on it.

You already know. Why even bother reading this.
Got it for my wife. I had no idea that this newer version would make that big a difference but my goodness. She kept going on about how much faster this new one is (this review might be a bit late?).Maybe Apple computers are similar to Windows where a fresh start is needed every once in awhile…Anyhow, if you’re reading reviews for this, why even bother. Just pick the best specs and get it. My wife thinks it’s awesome.

Amazing product for a great price!
This laptop came in perfect condition. I had to sign for it when it arrived as opposed to it being left on the porch and potentially stolen like some other things I’ve ordered. The laptop looks and works great! It’s super lightweight but has a big enough screen to where I don’t feel like my pictures, browser, etc. are too small. I love the SD card ports, headphones port, and magnetic charging port on the side! It makes things so easy and the only adapters I need are for a DVD drive and anything with a USB cord. Would definitely rate this as high as possible and would recommend it to everyone I know!

The Best just got better
I was on the fence replacing my late 2011 15 inch specced out (for the time) MacBook Pro retina. Sure I almost never used the cd/DVD slot or appreciate its hefty weight or its ploddingly slow HDD. But even though this seemed like a great piece of kit, I just couldn’t justify $2k plus tax. So when Amazon decided to drop $500 off the retail price I’ve used my $450 in Amazon gift card balance and bought this bad boy for around $1,250 with tax included. Unless you’re a serious power user even the base unit of this laptop is more than anyone would ever need in terms of raw power. Best screen on a laptop? Check Best speakers on any laptop? Check Best design? Best made SOC/software combo? Check. It’s Faster than regular M2, better made than the Air or the 13 inch model all made this purchase a no brainer. This is easily the best laptop Apple has ever made. If you need a TOTL laptop, you’ve found it, if it’s too pricey, save up or wait for a lightning deal, it’s well worth it. Greatest upgrade ever.

Best version of Apple’s MacBook Pro
After killing my 2012 Mac laptop by spilling water on it, I purchased a refurbished 2021 13.5″ MacBook Pro. It was time anyway and I got it at a great price. Having been certified by Apple as to its reliability, I trust that this Mac will last a long time, maybe even as long as my ancient one!

Impressive is an understatement
For once apple step up its game and finally made a pro laptop that fits the need of professionals. Yes it thicker then their previous models and yes it weighs more. The new M series chips are beyond impressive. Running my broadcast software, my dj software and multitasking I barely see the CPU bars jump and I have yet to hear the fans on this thing spin up. The screen clarity makes u feel like u can reach inside the screen and touch objects. The amount of ports is just what is needed. This is 5 star material on every level.

screen flickering problems since early on
Changing my review. Maybe around 6 months after I bought this, I occasionally started to experience the screen blanking out. It would happen a few times then stop for awhile. I researched it and would try different things, but the problem never went away and became more chronic as time went on. I have a job where I use another computer, so I am not always on this one. Unfortunately i was foolish and did not return this in the 1 year window, and the problem only grew worse. Idk if this is a faulty version or if this is a common problem with this model. But now I’m upset that I spent so much and have to find time to go to apple and pay to see if this is even repairable. I hope it doesn’t cost much, and I feel like I got screwed.OLD:Love this computer! I’m a graphic designer so I need the power for all the Adobe programs. I had a pc for several years (switched from being a dedicated Mac user) only to save money at the time. The pc was ok but it was getting a bit old and I couldn’t keep multiple Adobe programs open. Macs are so user friendly, and there are no speed issues whatsoever. It’s hard to not appreciate so the ingenuity that goes into them. So happy I switched back!!! Also I got the 14 inch, would have loved the 16, but I connect to an extra monitor, so it’s all good. Actually, The height of this screen is the same as my 17 inch pc! It’s about an inch and a half less in width but it doesn’t feel too small to me.

It lives up to the hype
I’ve been a Windows user my whole life. Always heard how great MacBooks were as far as their construction and performance but didn’t believe the hype and figured they were just overpriced versions of the same old-same old. I was wrong.The solid construction of this laptop is impressive. No cheap plastic feel here. The battery life is ridiculous! Way, way longer than the old Lenovo I came from. And the instant-on performance is really sweet too. No waiting for the laptop to emerge from sleep mode. Oh, and did I mention how quiet this thing is? I know it must have fans but I honestly have yet to hear them.This 14″ MacBook Pro is a truly impressive piece of hardware for which I waited years to upgrade and it has totally been worth it. I can see enjoying this laptop for many years to come.

Great laptop for everything I do
This is a great all around laptop for normal usage. When pushed it is also great for creating a development environment with VMWare and Docker Desktop. If you are in the market for a new workhorse or just browsing the web this is a great choice.

Don’t let “experts” convince you to buy the cheaper MacBook Air
This laptop has a superior display, superior speakers, superior camera and an excellent keyboard. Don’t go cheap and buy the “affordable” MacBook Air base model like some of these talking heads have been advising. It’s not a good buy if you are unhappy with it after six months, and believe me, you will be unhappy with 8 GB of RAM and two USB ports after six months. M1 MacBooks are not upgradeable so if you find that you need more RAM, you are stuck. Unless all you are doing sending emails, tweets, and watching TicTok, you will probably need something more, especially if you are using your laptop for work. I’m using my MacBook Pro with an LG UltraFine 5K 27 inch display as my desktop system, which replaces a 27 inch iMac. I’m very happy.

LIFE CHANGING!!!!!
This is the BEST purchase of my life. This computer is epic, stylish, fast and easy to use.I’ve never had a Mac before. It have all the other toys (phone, watch, iPad) so this was a natural choice. However, coming from a Windows background, I was nervous.I watched a few videos and found it intuitive and easy to navigate. FAST beyond description and the ‘excel comparable’ program, Numbers, is FAR better than Excel. I was promptly able to create a spreadsheet with formulas, billet points and drop down menus in less than 30 minutes.In short, this has changed my routine for work & home use & I wish I’d bought it years ago!

Best MacBook ever!
I bought this as a replacement for my 2015 15in MacBook Pro and have no regrets. The screen is jaw dropping, with colors being extremely accurate. This thing is fast and handles everything I throw at it! I use it for productivity work such as excel and video editing as well as music production via GarageBand. Build quality is superb and has a premium feel. Speakers sound better than most portable Bluetooth speakers. Overall worth the purchase, especially if you can get it on sale!

Base model is better than you think
Thought I would regret getting the base model as I retouch photos and edit videos for a living; I do see where the more powerful models would improve performance but honestly diminishing returns would come in quickly. Not a single hiccup thus far in any of the apps I use daily: Capture One, Photoshop, FCPX and Resolve to name the main ones. I think a lot of people are fooling themselves thinking they “need” the higher specs. This is comfortably more powerful than the past Intel 16″ models.

The best MacBook Pro to date
This is the best MacBook Pro I’ve owned to date, and I’ve had every single one of them since they came out many moons ago. Upgraded from a 2015 15″ and it was an excellent worthy upgrade. Runs cool, amazing display, long Battey life, very light, incredible sound, solid stable OS. What’s not to like. At the current price with the $400 discount it’s a no brainier. No regrets and very happy with my purchase.

Laptop was slow making it very hard use
When I started to setup this laptop it took a very long time each step would take as long as several minutes and then when I tried to use the laptop it was so slow that it was almost of no use. After 15 minutes the laptop started running faster so I could actually start using it but it was still slow at best.I spent maybe as long as 2 hours online researching the problem but nothing helped Customer service was friendly but I was very frustrated at that point I returned the laptop and I had cleaned the drive as recommended and I repacked it in all of the original packaging.I was told it would be 3 to 5 days to process the return its been 8 days and Amazon now says it may be as long as 30 days

Switched from PC to Mac
Upgraded and switched to a Mac Book Pro after having my HP Pavilion laptop for 9 years. I was hesitant to make the switch but now I love my Mac Book Pro. Very easy to use, quick interface, and so convenient to take with me since it’s so lightweight. It’s definitely worth the money. If you’re debating on switching to a Mac then this is the perfect laptop to choose.

Love it but…
Compact, lightweight, powerful, and long battery life. It’s almost perfect.Until I found it is not charging. This only happened twice so far. But every time it did, it wouldn’t charge no matter what cable you use. And I had to wait for the battery to deplete, before it charged again. (It looks rebooting into safe mode may also work. But it’s annoying if you are working on something important and running low on battery. )- – Update Oct 19, 2022: Rebooting into safe mode fixed the no charging issue.

Good machine!
So far so good!! I bought this M1 MBP and I’m happy with its functionality. It has delivered what the advertisements claim to say. I have been able to work out of this computer since I bought it. The battery life is incredible; one charge can last most of the day with basic usage, but of course it would require another charge if using RAM intensive applications but overall I’m happy with this upgrade. The M1 processor is such a nice upgrade because processing time have improved because the work is done so much faster, and the 16gb of RAM definitely is a nice combination.
