Good So Far Some issues
Well, first off when I unboxed it, the first thing that I noticed was that the box and all the packaging was cool from it being left outside my door but the iPad was hot. That’s because it was shipped powered on. Not to mention it came with a USB-C to USB-C charger which this version of iPad does not use, so I have to buy a lightening charger. This tells me my item was not shipped with care. I am concerned about the home button. It is wobbly and unstable and I get the feeling it’s going to eventually be pushed down and then either not pop back up or not work it feels wobbly inside the little circle when you push it so I try not to push the home button too much but it also concerns me because that means my fingerprint ID won’t work anymore if it does break and I hope it’s within the return period. Considering the condition that was advertised it’s really not as banged up as I expected as a matter of fact I don’t really notice any scratches or dings except around the charging port and that’s not even a big deal. I charged it up it seems to hold a charge OK I’ll bring it to my home office to stream while I’m working and it starts at 100% and is down to 45% after 7 hours of streaming. Not bad. So far no complaints. It will get light used for me as I do have a iPhone and a MacBook this is something I can throw in my bag and take it with me when I travel and I also use it to read all my kindle books. For what I paid I am very pleased

This refurbished iPad said excellent condition when I bought it. The little circle button is a bit stiff and makes a loud click when I click it, other than that it all works good so far. Crossing my fingers no problems with the button.

Great iPad for my daughters Birthday
We bought this as a gift for my 7yr old birthday.The iPad arrived in great condition, secure and in nice packaging.Initially, the charger included wouldn’t fit. At least that’s what we thought after it seemed to not fit the port inserter. We were wrong.The charger fits great and it charges the iPad perfectly.This is the perfect gift for our 7yr old daughter.

Shipping time was perfect . Product has no visible damage . Very very good condition. I bought for my 2 yr old for Christmas , paired with a heavy duty child proof case and it’s perfect for him. I had no issues setting it up with an iCloud child account . Downloaded his Disney plus and movie app. It was running IOS 15 but had no issues updating to iOS 17. So far is does as it should . My daughter has the same tablet I purchased new in 2018 when this gen was released. They are all around good quality iPads and never had any real issues with them.So far this product was worth the purchase. No real apparent issues . Will surely come back to update if something was to arise. Thank you! 😊

It’s worth the price.
It is a good quality iPad and the screen is also good. However the battery is very weak. Needs to be constantly charged while working and even if not in use the battery doesn’t charge well. Plus the home button doesn’t work most of the time. I have to enter the passcode every time to unlock it. Also the system hangs in between.So if you are wondering why I said it is a good quality iPad then my answer is as per the price, the ipad is actually good. It is great for people who wants it for simple personal use or for beginners (like me) who wants to use it to learn stuff like procreate or something like that.In short it is good for beginners but not for professional use as it is slow with weak battery so it might be a little frustrating to work with for professional or business purpose.Hope my review helps! ☺️

Updating my review:Original review for first iPad: Bought this iPad a year ago. The company sent an iPad with a sticky home button, which I didn’t think much of, since it seemed to work fine. Within a few months, the battery started getting worse and worse. The charger it came with would get so hot I was afraid it was going to melt the outlet, so I replaced it (it wasn’t an apple charger anyway, just a cheap one). All of the following chargers I purchased would also get extremely hot and wouldn’t bring the iPad up to a full charge. Eventually it stopped charging all together. I ended up buying an apple charger and managed to get it to turn on and charge to 7%, only to find that the screen was completely unresponsive. I shut it off and refreshed it multiple times, to no avail. I ended up taking it into the Apple Store and they essentially told me it wasn’t worth it for them to fix it because the work to do so would cost more than the iPad was worth. I contacted the company to see if they could send a new one since this one was faulty from the moment I got it, and they seemed happy to replace, however they said it has to be wiped and returned with everything that came in the box. I can’t wipe it because I can’t get into it, and I threw the original charger out because it was a fire hazard. Ultimately waiting on a response from the company to see what the solution is, and if they’re willing to help, I’ll update the review. If not, I wouldn’t purchase from them ever again.Update:Contacted the company in December. They were easy to work with and requested that I send the iPad back. They provided a label. I sent it back and they shipped a new one days later. I haven’t opened the new one yet to see if it’s in better working condition, but if there isn’t an update from here on out, that means it was just fine. I appreciate their prompt responses and simple solution, and their willingness to work with me.They did not ask me to update or change my review.

Do not trust “Amazon Renewed” products or Amazon Customer Support Team
Another update !!!Still no refund, now Amazon is saying that I returned the wrong item !!!!! I returned the item I received!!!! I can’t believe all the mis information I was told by all the different Amazon representatives, they all lied to me about how this would be resolved and here we are months later and still no refund and no iPad ! I am in contact with my states attorney general to try and get Amazon to do the right thing and give me my refund!!!!!!Update on 1/9/24I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I was totally ripped off all because I purchased a “Amazon Renewed” iPad 9 in Excellent condition. I received the iPad in a generic package and also a generic charger. Out of the box the iPad would not turn on, thinking it just needed to be charged I used the included charger but it didn’t do anything to the iPad, I got a different iPad charger that I had and same thing nothing would happen so I left it to just see if maybe it was just really dead and needed to charge overnight. In the morning when checking to see if it took the charge I noticed that the iPad had split open from the battery malfunctioning and bloated up inside the iPad. I contacted Amazon support thinking everything was going to be resolved since Amazon renewed items have a 90 day replacement or refund if your not satisfied. First I was told that it would be replaced with another iPad exactly the same and I could just dispose of the bad iPad then I was told no I would need to send back the iPad and could only receive a refund !!??? I asked about the 90 day replacement or refund but was told that refund was the only option because that’s what the computer said !!!!???? I expressed concern that my money would be tied up for days or even weeks while the iPad was being sent back but the Amazon representative told me not to worry that he was having ups come to my house to pick up the iPad the next day and as soon as ups picked up I would be refunded within 2 hours and then would just be waiting on my bank to credit my account. This was not the correct information at all. The ups driver showed up the next day but could not take the iPad because the box was not taped up so he said he would come back the next day, later that day another ups driver showed up once again to pick up a Amazon return that I assume was the iPad but he didn’t know what the exact item was he was picking up, I told him a different driver was already there and was coming back the next day so I didn’t know why he was there. The next day the first driver came back to pick up the iPad to return, I had the box ready for him this time. To my surprise he said he had tickets for my address to pick up 3 different returns !!!! I told him I only had the iPad to return and had no idea why there were 3 different returns. The driver took my package and I was now waiting for the 2 hours to pass to get my refund well I waited overnight and still nothing so I called amazon to check on the refund and was told that they showed that ups did not yet have my package that was being returned!!!! And even if ups did have it the refund would not be processed until the iPad was received back at Amazon !!!!! While on the phone a third UPS driver shows up saying they are there for a Amazon return!!!! At this point I had no idea what was going on and Amazon was telling me that ups did not yet have the return and also did not know why the rep said the refund would be issued when the item was picked up by ups or why three different ups drivers came to my house. Well fast forward a week and I received an email from Amazon telling me the ipad that was returned was not the same ipad !!!!!!!?????? They said I would not be getting a refund and that they are the only dept that can handle this type of situation. So I’m still without an ipad and I don’t think I will be receiving a refund. I will never buy a Amazon Renewed item again after this awful experience.

I bought two one for my 10 year old and one for my 2 year old, Surprisingly they came like new for them to be refurbish and for the price i was shocked…. My only issue was the chargers are no good for them but i wouldn’t let that stop you from purchasing just buy a better one……

Works beautifully and looks beautiful as well. Mainly got this to read as reading on my phone was hurting my eyes. For concerns with the battery in other reviews, the battery charges and holds a charge just as I would expect for an Apple product from 2018- you cannot compare the battery quality of this to your brand new iPhone- with that being said, I do not find the battery life or changing time as any kind of hassle, it’s perfectly fine. Concerns with shipping in the other comments should be directed towards the delivery service used, had UPS not had a system error, I would’ve had my package when the seller stated (3 days earlier, combined with a holiday delay) which is no fault of the seller because the label was immediately created and package given to UPS. Anyways, with latest iOS update, this works almost parallel, if not exactly, other than size, just as my iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Bought this for my daughter, she loves it. Looks brand new wouldn’t know it refurbished. Only problem I’m having is it charges slowly even on my fast charger for my iPhone. The charger that came with it seems cheap so I purchased a good charger didn’t seem to help. The iPad right now is at 5% been on charge for 30-35min. :/

Got it the same day i ordered It. Was on 90% straight out of packaging . Set up was a breeze . Works identical to my other Apple products ( iPhone 14 , MacBook ) . No complaints . I didn’t realize it would still have a home button LOL but no big deal . I love It . I got It to read my kindle books on but i like That i can Use it for other things if needed . It’s even compatible with that new Apple Pencil thing if you wanna use it with that!

Great for a budding digital artist
Not being able to outright afford the brand new iPads, this one is a great option for us. Affordable, and still current enough in tech to be able to be used. Our daughter loved this for her Xmas present and shares her creations with it, all of the time. Though she does have a drawing tablet that attaches to her PC laptop, she prefers using apple products for her art work, and this allows her to do so at home or when traveling without the need to bring a laptop with her.
