Frequent Restarts
I wanted to try the full size iPad Pro after my smaller size one finally died. I was prepared for how the heavier large size was not as comfortable for casual use, so there’s that.The reason for only 2 stars is that this was a refurbished iPad & I am very disappointed that it started spontaneously restarting after only 7 months of buying it. Certain programs, such as Chrome, seem to trigger the reboots more than some others like my current favorite game. I can play my game for hours with no issues but I do well to even see 2 hits from a search in Chrome before it restarts. Often I can barely get logged back in to Chrome to pick up where I left off in a search before it restarts again. Pretty frustrating for the restarts, especially since I haven’t even owned it for very long. Guess, once again, you get what you pay for. 🙁

I wanted to return this 2015 Apple iPad Pro. I’m an artist and I use procreate I wanted the 2018 because that was best suggested for me for my artwork. But I paid $400 for this Apple iPad and you know what I changed my mind as I used it for a week this iPad was what I was looking for thank you to seller and I apologize for everythingThis works great and I’m thankful that I had got affordable Apple iPad 12.9. Looks perfect, but old.
I did not realize when purchasing this that I would be getting a first GEN iPad. When researching the model number, I realized that I received a 2015 model, which is a first GEN iPad, and I cannot expect that the operating system iOS17 that was just released will be able to be downloaded on this relic. Granted, I purchased this for my grandson, but because it is an 8 year old iPad, I don’t want to be fiddling with how slow and inoperative it is because of its age, and not being able to get apps and things on it because of it being so old. Returning and buying a guaranteed newer model. I can’t imagine the battery life being decent either on such an older model. Not willing to find out either.

1st Gen iPad Pro
I knew this was an older iPad when I ordered it. The battery isn’t as good as it used to be but for the age, it’s still decent. Otherwise, the unit looks and works perfectly. It’s too old for iOS 17 but I’m not worried about only running a version of 16.

Very surprised at how nice this refurbished IPad is.
I’ve never owned an IPad so I can’t compare it to another. This IPad Pro 12.9 1st generation is going to be used mainly for reading piano sheet music. I have a lot to learn in using the Apple software, but I have downloaded 245 songs and forScore and am impressed how clean the music is and it is nearly the size of paper sheet music. I’ve only had it less than a week so I’ll have to review it later after using it more. It looks and feels like a brand new IPad.

Came Almost brand new!
I got the best one the iPad came almost completely brand new. It did have a tiny dent in the back of the tablet but everything is working and looks fine. It did come with a black case I don’t know if they all do but mine did. It was easy to setup and the charger that came with was a fast charger not a cheap one which is good. Also it’s really big. For the money it’s amazing I recommend!

Light bleed galore
I bought one of these for my wife, who is an artist. The first one came with noticable light bleed on the middle of the screen. So we sent it back and bought another. The second purchase had to be returned before it even got to us, because Amazon customer service accidentally cancelled the protection plan we bought for it instead of cancelling the protection plan we bought for the first one.The third one we bought came a few days ago and has two spots with noticeable light bleed. With all the stress of buying and returning three iPad pros in the span of a few days we resigned ourselves to keeping it and reading with it. But two out of three bought had this issue, and the third probably did too, but as stated, I never actually got to see the thing so who knows?The battery life on the first one wasn’t great. It took about 14 hours to fully charge, and about 5 hours to drain. The current one we have takes about 10 hours to charge, but it holds power alright providing you aren’t watching videos all day.The cameras is terrible. I know at this point the iPad is five years old, but my cell phone from five years ago has a better camera, and that was a cruddy, and cheap Android that came free with the cheapest provider you can find. I assumed anything would be a step up from that, but nope. Grainy is the best descriptor for this camera.The iPencil is great, but sometimes lag causes strokes to take a second to appear.Honestly, for the frustration getting this caused, and the issues that came with it, I wish I had just bought a brand new one.

Product came according to schedule. The only thing was the description for size was wrong. I ended up purchasing two different size cases for the iPad following the description. I then measured the tablet and it isn’t 12.9” but 14.5” in size. I suggest correcting or adjusting description of the tablet. Other than that it works just fine like new! Very happy with it!

Good Deal, But…
– [ ]The iPad Pro came in great condition ~ no scratches, no cracks, no dents, no problem. Runs like new. Screen quality is excellent. The battery life is good and I’ll get good use out of it for quite some time…but the 3rd party charger they packed with the iPad is no good. I know sometimes chargers can get a little warm while charging but this charger got so hot, I could feel the heat radiating from it without even touching it. I truly believe it’s a potential fire hazard. Not only that, but the charger kept disconnecting from the iPad. I went to the Apple store and bought the original charger and now everything’s great.Also, the outside packaging was not good – on the outside of the box, the seller placed the label “iPad Pro 12.9”…so if anyone wanted to steal an iPad Pro and came across my package, it would’ve been their lucky day. Ipad Model A1652 1 Gen
I’m very pleased with my refurbished IPad. I suspect some of the negative reviews are operator error.I noticed a reoccurring complaint in some negative reviews about the Ipad turning off unexpectedly. Some even characterized it as “turning on and off by itself” I highly doubt the turning on part!Mine did turn off by itself however, I suspected it was due to a setting and it was. Settings_Display & Settings_Auto-LockOthers complained about batteries not living up to their expectations. It is possible to have a defective battery but, batteries need to be initially fully charged. That means before doing anything, fully charge the battery. Batteries also need to not be run down to empty. That practice will reduce battery life.Recharge when the battery meter reaches 20%Many had questions about the model and generation including me so, for convenience, I’m posting this info.By going to settings-About-Model number & Model number again will show the 5 digit designation. According to this and Wiki, the Ipad pro I just received is an A1652 model which is a1st Gen model with Wifi and Cellular, however, mine has Bluetooth as advertised. I haven’t yet dug into the cellular claim on Wiki.What generation is the iPad model a1652? No issues with my refurbished iPad
I wasn’t sure what to expect when purchasing a refurbished IPad, but decided to do it anyways. It was a lot less money then buying brand new and I figured that was good enough reason to take that risk. The IPad looked almost brand new with very little scratches you could barely see. Battery life was great and charger worked great. I never had any issues with the IPad turning on and off randomly as seen in several other complaints! I knew I was getting a 12.9 inch screen but didn’t realize how big that actually was until I got it. I did end up returning the IPad for that reason alone. For what I was doing and what I was looking for I just needed a smaller screen. I would purchase refurbished again from this company.

Superb device
I’m an android user when it comes to phones, but no one beats Apple for tablets. I purchased this refurbished unit in Nov 2018. It’s a 2015 model that is still getting updates (currently on iPad OS 14.4.1). It’s a beautiful device. The model number on this unit is ML3K2LL/A and it does have a slot for a SIM card despite the WI-FI only in the title here. I bought the 4 year protection plan too but I haven’t had any problems. The charger appears to be the same kind that came with an iPhone 7. I don’t know if new iPads come with a different charger or not but this charger works fine. Works well with Apple Pencil (1st generation). These devices hold their value well, also. Enjoy!
