I wasn’t sure what to expect with a “renewed” phone, but this little Starlight stunner has blown me away. It feels brand new – sleek, smooth, and seriously powerful. Great phone!
Purchased this phone in acceptable condition from DirectCertified. Condition ordered Acceptable.I upgraded from an iPhone 7 because my service provider told me Apple was no longer sending the required security updates for older phones. I wanted a newer/newest I could afford with a small screen still. I was going to go for the SE2 since it was about the same price. I realized this phone had a larger screen in an even smaller form factor. So, I went for this one.I received it about a week earlier, in 2 days. It actually shipped the night I purchased. It came in near perfect condition, there is a small hairline on the screen but it’s only noticeable in light. I’m not even sure if it’s on the screen itself or the screen protector though.Phone works great, it is using my 7 as a hotspot (I think that’s what it’s called?). For some reason it’s not getting a signal with the SIM card (and my company doesn’t have eSim, looking into switching companies since they’ve been no help). The 7 works perfect with the same sim card and they are right next to each other. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s using the 7 as well or whatever it’s called. Or not. As long as it works on WiFi right now, I’m fine until I get it sorted out, which is nothing to do with the phone itself.Ordered the pink color and it’s gorgeous. I did notice my photos/videos have a yellow tint don’t look the most natural to me, but I’m assuming it’s something in the settings. Not sure. it def looks much different from photos taken with the 7 color wise.

Arrived about a week later than it said it would, but in great condition
No complaints about the phone itself, but the buying process wasn’t great. The package disappeared out of the tracking system for about a week after it said it was shipped, then mysteriously showed up on my door step one day with no warning from tracking. Feels like something shady was going on on the shipper’s side, but the phone’s great!

I love this phone!
I had 12 mini, but when my wife learned about the excess RF emission problem found in France, I got a 15. However, even in titanium, it felt like a boat anchor. I traded it back in for the 13 Mini, and it is just right. Fits in my pocket and all my old accessories and cables work with it-not the case with my 15.

I replaced my outdated iPhone SE 1st gen with the iPhone 13 mini. I couldn’t be happier, this one came in like new condition, no dents or scratches. The mini is slightly larger than the SE but I can still use it easily with one hand. It loads faster and has plenty of neat features that I’m sure to enjoy for many years. Get it you won’t be disappointed.

Only time will tell – first time renewed premium buyer
Bought an iPhone 13 mini, renewed premium. There’s two concerns: one the screen has few superficial scratches that are visible from about 12 inches. The excellent condition (ie, the standard that applies to all renewed premium cell phones) product narrative states there should be no visible scratches. Second, the screen has a slight visible lift (as in not sitting completely flush with the chassis) on the bottom left side; although not enough to impair operability, but prominent enough to make me question the grading criteria/ QC standard. As for the battery, it checks out at 94%. It would’ve been perfect but for the minor screen issues – the rest of the body looks brand spanking new. Given the scarcity of these mini iPhones I’d rather hold onto it as there’s no guarantee the replacement is going to be any better (unless Hybrid IT agrees to send a replacement device free of said issues. Upon receipt of which, I shall timely return this device. But only if seller agrees to cure first). Only time will tell whether Hybrid IT and the renewed premium promise lives up to its hype.

Received an iPhone 13 mini from a seller that I’ve had good luck with and I’m not disappointed. Looks new, no issues and battery life at 94%. I love the mini and I’m glad I got it. I did purchased the renewed premium so that I have it covered for a year.

Return process is the worst! Second purchase better: twice updated review
I am keeping the below experience as it was originally written so you can see my first experience. I have since given them a second chance and purchased a second phone. It came on time and worked as expected. The battery life isn’t perfect. But it is FAR better than my previous phone. It doesn’t work like new but close enough. I’m giving them 3 stars because I originally gave 1 and the second phone is fine and I’m splitting the difference.My original review was as follows:I knew it was a risk trying a “renewed” phone. But the return stories made it worth the risk.I don’t know what these people did but I’ve lived off Amazon for years and this has been the worst. The phone wouldn’t turn on (we live and breathe off technology. We know how to manage a phone).It took over an hour on the phone (my working phone) with support to be ALLOWED to return it. Then it was FOUR days before UPS picked it up and over a week before it reached the amazon warehouse where amazon neglected to acknowledge its arrival. When I did contact them to ask what was up because it’s a lot of money and both the return message and the support person said I would receive my refund once they received the phone. Amazon told me they were going to HOLD MY MONEY FOR A MONTH! Because “it was a lot of money”. No joke! What in the world?!My current phone is dying. What am I supposed to do?!Worst purchase/return ever!Update:The refund came through sooner than 30 days. I can’t say if it had to do with customer service or in response to my repeated phone calls or my review. Hard to tell. Although, once the refund was issued, they said the funds would not be available for up to 7 days because, again, it’s “a lot of money.”I’ve decided to give them another chance. Will update the review either way, positive or negative experience.To be continued…

Like new – except location services don’t work
This phone is in perfect condition and truly is like new, except I realized that the phone didn’t have location sharing abilities. There was no option to see my friends’ location in iMessage and there was no “people” tab in Find My. I called Apple support and they informed me this is because the phone was originally purchased in a region where location sharing is not supported. So returning and hoping to get one that was purchased in a region where location sharing is supported… I searched the reviews for “location” and nothing came up so maybe this is not very common and I just happened to get one of the few phones with this issue.

Overall positive experience
I ordered 2 phones from this seller, one red and one pink, and both were in the renewed premium category. The red one was perfect with 100% battery and showed no work had been done on the phone when plugged into 3uTools. The pink one had damage on the corners of the body and had only 90% battery health(which is the minimum battery health as advertised for renewed premium so no harm there) but I decided to return it and just keep the red one. Overall it was a good experience but I would have been slightly disappointed if I had only ordered the pink phone.

Great christmas present!
This is a great christmas present and although it is a bit smaller on the size, I personally like it more as a it’s an almost exact replica of the iphone 13 with just a bit smaller screen and battery size. Upon inspection of my item, this was a very nice refurbished product as the battery life capacity is 100% which is amazing, was very easy to transfer all my data from old iphone to this new one, and feels great functioning! Sadly I noticed that the charger wasn’t included with my order when it was said on the box but fortunately the cable was there and I was able to use that with my laptop to transfer my data fast and easy. If you are into smaller phones or know someone that is looking for one with great power and functionality in these times, I recommend this phone a lot! Above is photos of the iphone and packaging.

Thrilled with my purchase.
I was determined to get an iPhone 13 mini unfortunately, by the time I started looking, they were no longer offered by my service provider. I was a little leery purchasing outside of my service provider, but one of the 13 mini so bad I took a chance using Amazon. I purchased a refurbished premium and had to wait a few weeks to get it because I hesitated for a few days before placing the order. I’ve been using it for approximately two months and have had absolutely no issues, and the phone looked brand new upon arrival. I checked the battery and it was at 98%. Everything works as it should just as though I purchased a new iPhone versus refurbished. I will absolutely consider doing this again when I need to upgrade in the future this was a very nice and pleasant transaction, not to mention big savings and cost.

It took almost 2 hours to do the transfer from phone to phone. I should have realized then that I was going to have problems. It came at 88% battery life. I noticed it getting a little hot already. It has no dents or scratches which is a plus.If you are going to buy one pay that extra money for the premium because maybe you will have more battery life.

I was on a waiting list for a ‘Renewed Premium’. Seems to be a long waiting list. I finally gave up and went with a ‘Renewed’ advertised in excellent condition. Given Amazon’s generous return policy, I would have been able to easily return it if there were issues. I probably wouldn’t have tried this with any other online retailer aside from Apple.It arrived with no scratches, dings, or apparent wear. Looks like new. It shipped in *very* well designed and protective packaging designed for phones. Not likely to be damaged in transit short of very heavy crush damage. Kudos to the packaging engineers that designed this. Well done.It was delivered with 100% battery health which almost certainly means that the phone was opened up and the battery replaced. The likelihood of a ‘renewed’ 13 Mini arriving with battery health at 100% is slim to none. I don’t have a problem with this but only because if a problem does show up, I have some recourse with Amazon. Because batteries can be dangerous, I’d recommend having a phone battery replaced only through a known and trusted service shop. In Apple’s case, battery replacement can be arranged and scheduled in their website.Immediately after receiving it, I ran two diagnostics to check functions. In both cases, no issues. One of the diagnostics is built into iOS. You’ll need iOS 17 or later and not a beta release. Search for ‘built in iPhone diagnostic’ for instructions. There’s another which makes doing this quite a bit easier. From the Apple app store search for ‘Phone Doctor Plus’. There’s a free and paid version. It simplifies the process.There are other diagnostic apps but these are the only two I’ve tried. Alternatively, you can take it to an Apple store and ask them to do it for you.The advertising says that an MFi certified charging cable and a U/L certified charger are included. Don’t expect Apple branded accessories. Mine shipped with a 3ft aftermarket USB C to Lightning charging cable but no charger. I removed the interior packaging to check. Not something I care about but for those that are expecting a charger, fyi.Also advertised as an included accessory is a sim removal tool. I didn’t find one in the box. If yours shipped with a SIM card, I’d read through the pros and cons of SIM vs eSIM. If eSIM meets your needs, I’d trash the physical SIM. If you need a SIM, probably best to get one from your carrier instead of a mystery SIM. Switching to eSIM can be done in your phone’s settings. No expertise or hardware needed.You’ll need a case. Without, it’s not a matter of if you’ll drop it but when. This is my second mini, the first being a iPhone 12 Mini. Slippery and with a smaller form factor than other iPhones, very easy lose grip. Especially if you have large hands. Further, without a case the camera lenses and screen make contact with whatever surface you place them on.The Apple leather case has been my go-to for the last 3-4 phones. Very well designed, doesn’t add significant bulk and the drop protection has proven to be excellent. Great case for all but extreme circumstances.Not to overstate it but If you’re considering an iPhone 12 mini or 13 mini, both are great but battery life may be problematic for heavy users. Given the option between the 12 and 13 mini, the 13 mini uses an A15 processor which is more energy efficient and has a slightly larger battery.Happy customer. I’m fully committed to the Mini form factor/dimensions. I carry it all day in a front or back pocket and barely know it’s there. When I need to replace it, perhaps Mini’s will be back in the menu from Apple. Hope so.

I ordered this phone with a pretty high expectation from a previous Premium Renewed order. To say that it lived up to those expectations would be an understatement.I went over the whole phone and screen as soon as it arrived, inspecting for any kind of damage. I found absolutely nothing! No dents, dings, scuffs, or scratches. It came in a sealed premium renewed package, with all the advertised accessories, as well as an inspection list and signoff from the person who packed it.The screen was almost certainly brand new, because it came with an apple style cling protector, and had nothing under it (like dust or fibers, which are usually present when it’s just cleaned and repackaged if it’s in good enough shape). It’s also definitely a true apple display, and the touch response and color/brightness are perfect.Once it was charged, setting it up took a while, but that’s due to transferring all the data and configuring the carrier settings, all of which were easy to due with an iPhone. It also had no data on it from any previous owner.Then I checked the battery health, and to my surprise, it was at 100%! Again, this would lead me to believe that it was a brand new replacement, or this phone was returned after never actually being used. All other functions of the phone have worked without issue, as well as the camera.Overall, this is hands down the best renewed product I have ever purchased. The fact that it comes with a 1 year replacement warranty is fantastic as well. I would highly recommend buying this, or any other Premium Renewed device from Amazon.

The phone to get if you want small form-factor
First off, my phone came looking like-new with 100% battery health and an original screen. No signs of use whatsoever, very pleased.I came from a 13 Pro, upgraded to a 14 Pro, then “downgraded” to the 13 Mini as the heft and size were wearing down on me. Since Apple discontinued the Mini series, I figured this was my last chance to get in on this form factor, unless they bring it back for the SE series.For months, I loved everything about this phone. The weight, the size, the capabilities. As time went on, I realized that I am still using my phone just as much as I always do, and the battery was having difficulties keeping up. Yes, I could charge during the day (and I do have a magsafe battery pack) but doing so was annoying. Even moreso, I noticed that the camera quality was a big downgrade, something I didn’t think I would care about. I was beginning to miss my old 13 Pro. The 13 Pro had better battery (in my experience) to the 14 Pro, and I remember taking some of my best pictures with it too. So I decided to utilize Amazon Premium Refurbished to get a 13 Pro as well, and I am equally as happy with it.I’m keeping both phones, I have a feeling I’ll want the satisfaction of using a tiny phone again once in a while. But ultimately the battery, camera, and 120hz screen left me craving the 13 Pro again. If you don’t use your phone way too much like I do and want a smaller iPhone, definitely get this while you still can.

Very happy!
Got the pink 256 GB mini in “excellent” condition from seller “Prime Renewed Store” in Brooklyn. Got the phone 1 day earlier than expected. It came in a plain box with a small adapter and the wire to connect. I didn’t use either since I have Apple wire and charger already. The phone looks like it’s in excellent condition, battery 98%!! It came with a screen protector which looks brand new and is installed really nicely. Which probably would make most people happy except I don’t use cases or screen protectors LOL I’m keeping it on though since I don’t want to accidentally damage the phone trying to take it off.The software update took about 20 minutes. And transferring my data took about 15 mins. I have about 80 GB of stuff on my old phone. Thought the overall time was good. I’m coming from an iPhone 12 mini. Love this size so I wanted the 13 mini since Apple doesn’t seem to have any plans for this size anymore.This is the first time I’ve bought a used iPhone. I’m glad I decided to do it and would highly recommend purchasing from this seller! I’ve had the phone for 3 days now and so far, it’s great.

I was disappointed but the seller is 100% trustworthy!
I purchased this knowing it was used however it was published as in excellent condition. when i received it the screen had three noticeable scratches. I took it to a repair shop and for $200 they’d install a new screen which would’ve brought the total cost of the phone to $700. For that price, I ended up getting a brand new phone from T-Mobile so that’s what i ended up doing. This phone is by far my favorite. I don’t like large phones. I ended up returning this phone and received a full refund so this seller stands behind their products. I would’ve given 5 stars but I gave 4 because I feel like the phone should’ve been examined and the description reflects the scratches.

BUYER BEWARE: Some units can have issues.
I ordered this phone last week, but I had to exchange it for another iPhone 13 mini because it had a lot of issues.DEFECTIVE UNIT:- Service would cut out- Bluetooth didn’t function (wouldn’t let me connect)- NFC wasn’t functioning.The first phone cam on time. Everything worked fine until the quick share feature didn’t work, I initially didn’t pay much mind to it and set it up regardless. I instantly get an alert that apple pay may not be usable on the phone, also didn’t pay too much mind to it until I tried to make calls or send texts. Service would stay on for around 1-2 minutes before cutting to no service. Restarting, resetting network settings, and resetting the phone completely did not fix the issue. The bluetooth also didn’t work on the original unit I received.I requested an exchange the same day, wiped the phone, removed my apple account and shipped it back. The seller shipped the replacement a few hours after I dropped off the defective unit.EXCHANGED UNIT:- Everything works flawlessly- Battery Health at 95%- No issues with the phone currently.Overall, beware of receiving a defective unit, things like this happen, but I am very thankful for the easy exchange process, as getting a replacement was not a hassle.

The BEST Refurbished Phone I’ve Bought so Far
*case was purchased separately*-I needed to switch back to Apple because I wasn’t enjoying my Samsung , and I looked to Amazon for affordable phones. I have had a lot of good experiences with Amazon and buying tech so I thought I would purchase a phone from Amazon. I do some looking around and I find this listing and saw they had my specific carrier (AT&T) so I purchased the phone. It came a DAY EARLY, it was in this beautiful recycled box, it had the order label, info, charge cable, and phone . Everything was secured in the box nicely with bubble wrap, and the phone powered right on and I set it up immediately! There are NO scratches, NO chips, and no visible hardware damage.I am super happy with my purchase, and if you ever need an affordable Apple product last minute always choose TECHMINT!
