Better than the carbon fiber version

This review is geared toward those who are trying to decide between this aluminum tripod vs Neewer’s carbon fiber version that is more expensive. I ordered both tripods and found that they are exact replicas of each other, minus the legs which are the material in question. If you find any differences in the description, one of them is wrong. For example, the carbon fiber was advertised as shorter when folded but that is not the case. I decided that I will use this cheaper aluminum version and here is why. The weight difference is non-existent. The carbon fiber is 5lb 2 Oz while the aluminum is 5lb 8 Oz. That is a 6 oz difference, which you won’t lose any extra calories over. If you have an interest in this tripod, then it is because you like the adjustable boom (otherwise you would be looking at neewer’s cheaper tripods). Well, you are going to need the extra weight on the legs to counter balance, so you aren’t doing yourself any favors by getting the carbon fiber version. Also, this black aluminum is much more athletically pleasing. The carbon fiber has smudges and imperfections and is more prone to damage. The two tripods are about a $15 difference if bought new. If you bait Neewer into throwing you an ad, you can get it at discount price. Go with the cheaper version for this one, which is the aluminum. The tripod is very good for the price.

I would have given 5 stars had it not been for the grips

I would have given 5 stars had it not been for the rubber grips. The rubber grips are glued on and slid off while maneuvering the parts and adjusting the tripod. This is not a deal-breaking issue but worth noting. Other than that, the tripod is extremely stable and heavy-duty for professional work and aspiring photographers.

    I was very surprised….

I was very surprised at how STURDY this tripod is. I have a light carbon fiber tripod for traveling and while it’s very light, it’s also not that sturdy and may contribute to some blur in my photos, but it’s light and needed for travel. This bad boy, has very thick legs, it’s got good reach. Took me a second to figure out how to put the center column in the horizontal position, but this will be so good for my product photography and better for astrophotography because of how sturdy it is.

Excellent if you handle with this advice!!!

The first one I ordered had to be returned. The instructions are very badly written. I found a video on youtube with a woman in Australia who shows you how it works. One PRECAUTION. The legs extend by twisting them. DO NOT TWIST MORE THAN ABOUT 1/4 Inch. Just enough to let the leg slide to extend. If you twist all the way the leg falls out and with it a bit of plastic that cannot be put back then the leg is useless. So I sent it back. They sent another. It works find and has great features as long as you are super careful with the amount you twist the leg to extend. You will read other reviews with people saying they used for a year and suddenly leg fell out and could not be put back. They probably did not realize that it could have happened at anytime. The features are great and it costs you a lot less than others that have the same features. Every where else I looked you had to buy 3 different parts to get the same features. Still it is shocking that the legs can fall out and not be put back just for twisting them they full amount.

Amazing tripod!! So sturdy and easy to use!

I do cannabis photography for a genetics company and recently switched from soil to hydro. The addition of the hydro table in the tent made getting a tripod inside impossible, so I needed one with a removable center column. This Neweer tripod is perfect for the job!! The tightening knobs are very powerful and allow me to put my camera, lens, flash, diffuser and a macro rail on the extended center column without budging.I’ve always had issues with legs on other tripods: either they don’t tighten or one little twist causes a leg to fall out. Not on this tripod! The legs are secure and the twisting clamps really do a solid job of holding the tripod/gear in place while being able to easily adjust on the fly.It is a bit heavier than some so it might not be the best to lug around all the time, but overall this is an 11/10 tripod! What an upgrade!!

Great tripod, even though I returned it.

I bought this to film overhead cooking videos with my iPhone. It worked great until I used a stand mixer. Then the extension piece on the tripod would start shaking, ruining the footage. Other than that, I really loved it. It can be configured in many ways, and it’s well-built for the price. I ended up returning it, but it may be perfect for other uses.

A good tripod except for the weight and the removable rubber feet.

It is a sturdy tripod but after only 3 trips to photograph outdoor locations, one of the tripod feet unscrewed and came off while I was hiking and was lost. For short trips the weight is manageable but after a long day, you really start to notice it. I’m keeping it as I see I can order some replacement feet and I need a steady tripod for home use. But I’ll be in the market for a lighter tripod for outdoor shoots.

    Maniacally gorgeous piece of equipment!

I’m not entirely sure what all the negative reviews are for or from but do yourself a favor and buy this. Neewer has seriously stepped up its game and for me, they have entered the pro leagues with their equipment. It’s extremely sturdy and absolutely beautiful. It is pretty heavy so I won’t be taking it on my longer hikes. Oh wait, yes I will! Because it turns into a freaking Mono pod! You can’t shoot a photo in every angle this tri pod achieves. All jokes aside. It checks every box I was hoping to check.Sturdy frameSolid constructionHeavy duty locking componentsEndless angles to shootThe column for my lay flat photography is amazing and doesn’t have any sag when when fully extended. ( I use a D5600 w/ Tamaron 16/300 lens. It’s quite a bit of wait to hang.)

I am reviewing the tripod only…

I took the ball head off immediately because I bought this for another reason all together. The ballhead seems fine for a light camera and still images, but I bought this and the Neewer gimbal at the same time to create a stable mount for my birding combo which includes a 600 mm lens. I bought the 72inch version which means I don’t have to extend the column to be eye level for me which adds even more stability. Perhaps flip locks rather than turning locks would have been easier to adjust when I sit for long hours outside in different terrain for wildlife, but the screw type is generally considered stronger. It does what it is intended to do for a good price. I am very pleased. I have been using a Manfrotto for years and now I can leave it in the house and not worry about weather and movement abuse scratching it. For what I want to do outside with a heavy lens this works just fine.

Great concept like to be able to turn everything

I like it but already had to fix one of the legs because it would not catch, so the leg would go out if you put pressure on it.

    Works great, no instructions

Product works great once I figured it out. Decent height extension for over head filming shots. Quick release place is compatible with my other tripod. No instructions in the box. Took me a couple minutes to figure out how to get the center pole horizontal as I’ve not used this style tripod before.

    Confusing add but great product

I was expecting to receive 2 tripods and a monopod. My bad, I should have read more carefully. Amazon supposed me and the seller as my embarrassing complaints were felt with. Sorry for the misunderstanding on my part and I hope others don’t make the same mistake. The tripod is well built. The boom can get your camera where no other tripod can. I would recommend using a weight hung from the center of the tripod to be used when extending the boom arm. The tripod is more then sturdy enough to handle the weight of a camera, lighting and a center hung weight.

Meh, not that excited about it

I was excited to receive this tripod to replace and older one. I like that it comes with a nice carrying case, but everything else is meh. Perhaps if this were cheaper I would be more excited about it, but the price just isn’t justified. The poles are locked and to unlock you have to push a button, but you have to push it in just the right way in order to get the legs to come out. I really don’t want a tripod that I have to fiddle with to get it setup. My older tripod just very seamlessly setup without having being jerky. This one is sturdy and has a heaviness to it which I like, but I just don’t like how fussy it has been to setup. Maybe I just got a lemon, but really don’t see the value here.

A good product but with overly complicated features

Overall, very good. Solid construction and very stable. My only complaint is that it has 3 knobs on the center post. And 3 more on the ball head. This strikes me as an unnecessary complication My old tripod had one for each component. I bought this because I needed a ball head that had an ARCA-Swiss quick release. I could not find one that was compatible with my old tripod. Other than that, it’s definitely doing the job.

I like it. This is a good tripod

I love this tripod. I did a lot of research before I bought it. It has made it super easy to get any stable angle. Panning and sliding is super smooth. I like being able to have all the adjustments. It has some weight to it making it very stable. I didn’t have any worries about my camera being mounted on it. If I had to give any negative feedback the size did make it a little extra to the load if you are going in the field to shoot. But, It did come with a carrying case that has a strap.

    Extremely Impressed!

I’m a professional filmmaker and I’ve used/owned many tripods over the decades. This is the most versatile and well-thought-out tripod I’ve ever used! Bravo!! (I would list all of its attributes, but Neewer has done a great job of doing that via pictures and words right here on Amazon.)

    Exceptional quality!

This is a great tripod for the price! I just got it and I’m pleasantly surprised! My current tripod is very old so this new functionality is really great. The instructions are tiny so I went to their website and downloaded the pdf. Once I ran through the instructions a couple times I got it. This is a little heavy but because it’s very sturdy. The center ring/base is metal and solid. It has a hole you can hang a hook through for a counter weight and a 1/4″ screw hole if you want to go that route. I plan on using it mostly for macro photography. I think this is going to do the job! The only thing I’m going to have to get use to is the quick release mount. The quick release mount could be designed a little better so you can’t easily miss and dump your camera. But after looking at their website I can see that there are a number of different quick release mounts you can buy. I just ordered a “macro rail” and a nicer quick release. Lots of accessories. I’m sure going to enjoy this product.

    Sturdy

It’s not as sturdy as a professional studio tripod but it ain’t as heavy either. A good compromise between the two. And for the price, it was exactly what I was looking for, something I could still carry and sturdy enough to hold a full-frame DSLR with a long lens and an exterior monitor.

    AMAZING

It’s honestly really good. As a person who’s gone through so many cheap tripods that have broke themselves, I finally decided to go out and purchase a sturdy expensive one and oh my is this great. Very versatile, I 100% recommend, WORTH THE PRICE AND FOR THE FUTURE

    Sturdy and heavy

This tripod is a beast! It’s really heavy, but I use it ondoors so the weight isn’t an issue for me. It’s super sturdy and I love that it can be used traditionally and with the arm out. It does smooth panaroma from the arm and from the tripod head itself. With the tilt on the arm you can get your camera into almost any position imaginable. The bubble levels are a nice touch. I don’t use it as a monopod, but like the option if I ever go wild. But minus a star for the tripod head grips on the knobs, and knob positioning. The grips on the knobs slipped and came off after the first use. It’s not a deal breaker but it is frustrating. The other frustrating thing is the positioning of the knob that tightens the camera to the tripod head. If you’re trying to use it with the camera positioned in that groove of the ball head (like it shows in the main image on the product page), it hits against the base of the tripod head and you have to reposition it to get the camera off. It also stops the head from becoming completely level at that angle. I was hoping to use this with the camera at the end of the arm sitting up like that but it won’t work for what I was hoping to do. It’s fine enough to just use it as a traditional tripod at that angle, but I was hoping it would work more like the picture shows. It is excellent for overhead shots and flat lays, though, which is the best part about it.My only regret is not getting the 79″ one. More height for the overhead shots would have been nice. However, the tripod head comes off and can be attached to a c-stand, so that’s pretty cool!

Perfect in every way for a sturdy light duty tripod…

Just short of perfect. Delivery was on time. Perfectly packaged. In fact, the tripod seemed to be perfect as well. But, I checked out the one or two things I had yet to try and found that the Panorama base was either too loose and caused the entire ball head to wobble. After trying to tighten the third (smaller) knob that locks the panorama feature, I found that there was no happy medium. The ball head would either be loose and wobble in the platform it screws into or would be totally locked and too tight to rotate in the pano base at the top of the center post.I am going to try and find out why the pano feature doesn’t work as it should. It is either too loose or too tight. Either alternative makes the pano function pretty much useless.Everything else seems to be executed very well. The fit and finish is excellent with the exception of the pano feature. Considering none of the other reviewers complained of a similar issue, I’m certain this is an outlier. Likely it is a simple fix and I would prefer donating my labor to the vendor to repair this unit than sending it back for refund/replacement or repair.Since the example I received is great in every other way, I would not hesitate in purchasing a second or recommending the tripod to friend or family should they need a similar tripod.[Update 5/30/2019] I contacted Amazon about the sticky/wobbly Panorama ring and they suggested that I return it and reorder. I considered the fact that this was about the only sample out of all the reviews that had problems. Based on that, I thought that an exchange of sorts would be the most expedient way of getting a sample that is 100% good in every respect. The Rep issued a return authorization and ordered a second sample. The second sample arrived yesterday afternoon. I unboxed and checked it over and found that the new sample is free of defects and operates exactly the way it should. And Amazon issued a credit for the returned sample within 24 hours of dropping it off at a UPS store.I received an unexpected bonus in the form of a price drop of $10.00 less than I paid for the first sample. So, the original problem turned into nothing but positives thanks to the excellent customer service from Amazon.

    Awesome tripod!

Wow, I can’t say enough good things about this tripod. Let me first start off by saying ..The build quality is excellent! The tripod feels a looks solid, no cheep Amazon basics here and for the price you can’t go wrong. The ball joint head rotation is smooth and the double locking screws makes sure my Sony A7ii DSLR camera stays exactly in the spot I put in all day long in in the horizontal position. The 360 degree pan swivel action is stiff but smooth as it should be. All the rotating leg locks stay in place even with a 10 pound weight hanging from it for counter weight stabilization.I mainly bought this tripod for the horizontal boom arm feature to record top down table shots of me working at my desk doing product reviews, unboxings, and electronics work for my YouTube channel. Due to my table being unsteady as I work I couldn’t use a table mount arm to get my overhead shots without camera shake. This tripod allows me to have one leg on the table to get the dead center table top shot on a 4 foot desk, and the other two legs on the floor to provide stabilization support with a weight at the rear (see pics). This totally eliminats camera shake as I work on the surface of the table. If I had to nitpick something about this product, I would say they could have made the boom arm feature a little bit longer for table top reviews but the work around I have found works just as good without. This tripod manufacturer also has a castor wheels attachment that fixes to the legs of the tripod (not included). If your working in a shop or have hard wood floors this addition makes moving the camera tripod around the room a breeze.Neewer really knocked it out the park with this setup.. I highly recommend.

    Hefty Tripod

I was looking for a study tripod to film flatlays. This was the perfect find. It was a little pricey but I did get it on sale which was a plus. It comes with a travel bag but some may think it’s a bit heavy. But I don’t know how much traveling I’ll do with it. But I like all the features. I’m very happy with the purchase.

    Fav new tripod

Decided to buy this tripod for my content creation & it’s a game changer. I don’t know why I’ll need the extra features other than for shooting overhead shots, but they’re nice to have.Note: go slow with turning all the nobs. It’s a disaster if you over tighten then.

Tripod is nice but ball head is disappointing

Bought the tripod for a second, reasonably inexpensive setup for the recent lunar eclipse. The tripod itself is sturdy and well-built at a good price. However, the ball head is a disappointment for me. I was really struggling trying to get the sun/moon centered as I was setting up the shot. The ball I have (YMMV) doesn’t rotate smoothly in the socket and there is backlash/drift when tightening things down which, BTW, requires fiddling with two knobs. On this tripod I was shooting with my old T3I + 300 mm Sigma zoom lens so weight should not have been a problem (ball was mounted on an iOptron star tracker). Also, the knobs have rubber grips which feel nice but they stretch/slip a bit when tightening and really should just be solid metal. Anyway, I may be returning this one before my window closes so I can do some more research. Tripod is decent but replacing the head with a better unit puts the total price similar to other tripod/head combos that may be better suited for me.

    Good but 1 flaw….

I purchased this tripod for the ability to use the center pole for top down shots. The tripod is light, good quality, and I like the color. My only issue is the legs do not lock when you open them up. They will move or close with the slightest touch. There is a stop so they do not open wider but they can close if pushed. So be careful after setting up. Otherwise you might bump a leg and knock the balance off and it will fall over. I will try to add a video later.

    Amazed!

I bought this to replace a $20 cheap tripod I bought from Amazon some years ago. This tripod is amazing! The quality is amazing! It’s sturdy and I can safely keep my camera on the tripod without worrying about it falling over. Buy it!

Good tripod but weak head – update: ball head replaced by seller.

The media could not be loaded.

I got this yesterday and overall it is of decent quality. Tripod legs extend to a respectable height and I don’t need to extend the central column to have camera at eye level. Legs when not locked have more than excess play and if you unscrew locks completely leg sections comes apart. However, this is manageable. The tripod has some weight to it which in my opinion good as it adds to the stability but if someone looking for travel tripod, this is not travel friendly. The main concern I have is with the supplied ball head.It looks solid but when I tried to use Panning, it has log of play between the base plate of rotating part of head (see the video, bit of low quality but is shows the play with some odd sound coming from inside). Also when reversed pan movement (left to right or vice versa), it gives a jerk every time rotation is reversed. May be I got a defective piece but these two issues makes it less usable for my landscape photography needs. I am going to contact seller to see if something can be done about it.Overall, Tripod legs are good and it has some decent feature makes a good deal if issues with ball head are corrected.Update: Seller has replaced the ball head, the new head still has play on panning but when locked down it does not move. For my purpose, this will workout. I have update rating accordingly.

    Get the spikes

I’ve used this for a year in the outdoors; fields, woods, sand, everywhere. I found it outstanding for features, durability, and stability with one small exception that’s easy to overcome. The tripod comes with rubber feet which aren’t ideal for all outdoor conditions. After a month of use, I picked up the NEEWER Universal Rubber Feet Tripod Spike, 3 PCS Non-Slip Tripod Feet. These spikes replace the rubber feet but do include a rubber foot that slips over each spike – good if shooting indoors. You can’t beat the features at this price-point. In short, if using indoors, perfect as is, if using outdoors, also get the spikes.

Works with Nikon P1000 – Needs a washer under the part that attaches to the camera

This tripod works with nikon p1000. The only thing I recommend is remove the screw that attaches to the plate that attaches to the tripod. It should be plate touching camera, washer ( I had from hardware store), then screw. It makes the plate more firm so heavy cameras won’t slip when lens is fully extended. This is a solid tripod. No shaking. Well built. Once I added the washer there is no movement. I take lots of moon and star pictures. At that angle it is hard to find a tripod that will not move. This one works. Simply add the washer. I made sure the washer was touching the plate and screw and not touching the camera. Highly recommend. This is the third tripod I have tried for my nikon p1000 and this is the only one strong and solid enough that I trust with my camera on it. It is a very heavy tripod. Not lightweight which happens to be what I was looking for.

    Solid tripod.

This is fantastic, I am tall so I need a tall stand and sometimes I need to get an overhead shot, this is perfect for both things. The only things keeping me from giving it a 5-star review. When I use the angle feature — say I put it at 45 or 90 degrees to get an overhead shot of something on a table or my work bench — it is very difficult to looses the knob. It is almost like the knob gets tighter over time. Sometimes I have to grab some pliers. I might be overattentive it, but if it is not tight it will slip and the expensive camera will crash into whatever I am filming. The ball head has two adjustment screws — so I have to hold the ball head in place and tighten both screws. It is a bit cumbersome and there are several other adjustment screws in the general area. I am usually looking at the camera screen instead of the screws so I often adjust the wrong one — eventually I am going to detach the ball head and drop the camera. A slight redesign

Only used a few times and the leg faster jammed

After doing so much research, I decided on this tripod. I’ve had it for a little bit over a year but only have used it a few times. I went to use it recently and found that while I was trying to tighten a leg, one of the threads got stuck on the knob and now I can’t extend and lock one leg which means I cannot use it anymore. I’ve tried everything to get the knob unstuck and nothing has worked. For the price, I think there are more reliable option’s especially if you are looking to use it often.

    Great deal!

What a deal for the price!!! Love this tripod, it’s sturdy, well built, feels high quality, and the ball joint is holding up. I shoot with a Nikon z7II with a vertical grip, it is a lighter camera than DSLR’s, so I can’t say for certain if you will run into problems with the heavier DSLR’s. The only reason I say this is, when I put my 70-200 mm lens on my z7II I have to make sure that the ball joint is super tight, and any sudden movement even when the joint is super tight can cause the joint to move. Other than using my heavier 70-200 mm lens all my other lens combos work fine with this tripod. P.S. I love how high I can get my camera on this tripod, Buy it if you’re on a budget, or if you want an additional tripod.

Looks like a sturdy design, but……

From the beginning the little flex grip covers on the knobs started falling off, the company couldn’t offer replacements. I said no biggie it’s a good tripod.I replaced the knobs with heavier tool knobs. Then a foot fell off. I found replacements that fit. The company was thankful when I told them about threadlocker. Now the extendable legs are pulling apart. Time to move on…..

I Prefer My Other Neewer, But This One Has A Purpose

The unique feature of this particular tripod is it’s ability to crane the center post out at a 90-degree angle (or really any other angle you like other than straight up vertical). Most people– myself included– are going to use this feature so they can shoot down towards the ground. Well, if you want to keep the tripod legs out of the shot, it means you can’t have a leg sticking out towards where your camera is. The problem is that it’s a bit of a one-trick pony and limited in it’s usefulness without the ability hang weight on the other end for balance.I’m running a Sony a6500 with two lenses (that I swap out) that are maybe heavy for ASP-C, but nothing compared to a full-frame DSLR body with a high-quality lens. The problem is that if you take that center post and run it horizontal with the ground, crane it out or extend it out as far as you can to one side, it tends to lose it’s balance and stability. On the other end of the bar, there’s no place to attach weight. The way I’ve been able to overcome this is by using some 1-2 lbs ankle weights I bought off Amazon, and they sort of precariously (without a secure attachment), just hang around the opposite end of the bar for balance. It works, but it’s not ideal. The other features of this tripod are great, and it’s very functional. But they should have designed this with the ability counter-weight the center post when used horizontally to the ground.

Very Sturdy for my 80X20 Orion Astrobinoculars

I like the ease of set up. The legs extend with the twist of the knobs and lock by turning them back when desired length is reached. All the adjustment knobs are sturdy and turn with ease. I used the ball so I could look up at the top of the tree and raised the legs to full extension as well as extended middle bar about 4 to 6 inches. The tripod remained very sturdy and I was able to see the top of the tree. It should serve well when adjusting for viewing the moon and other celestial bodies. I really like the locking mechanism on the adapter because does not drop the binoculars when I adjusted the ball and accidentally tipped the whole thing. Whew!! Big save! It is a great feature to have!

One of the best Tripods you will buy

This tripod is exceptionally versatile and very good quality. I was pleasantly surprised with it’s weight and feel. It’s not bulky, but sturdy and well made. I’ve purchased Neewer products that were subpar and some that were incredible. This is definitely a great product. You won’t be disappointed with this one. I purchased it for still shooting as well as pan video since it’s capable of both.

Great for videos of DIY using hands

I do calligraphy and wanted a way to share what I’m doing via video. I take photographs of my work, but wanted a way to video my hands as I’m writing. It took me a long time and I went through a few tripods before finally finding this one.The arm swings over the desk or table, at adjustable heights, and with enough distance for me to show my hands at work. I’m able to video with either my phone or my Nikon D40 camera on the tripod.Since the tripod is so versatile, I will likely also use it for landscaping shots or “b-roll” film. But it is rather heavy (a good thing for my needs indoors, as it is sturdy), so this one does not replace the aluminum one I currently use when hiking.

A very well build tripod, I love it!

Neewer always delivers. This is a great tripod, we’ll built. For indoor portraits, e-commerce, and even event photography. As a professional photographer, and owner or many high end brands I have to say that this tripod has nothing to envy. It will do the job very well. The negative, which it isn’t such a bad thing. Is heavy for huge hiking, it will be great but you’ll get tired.Overall, 5 stars for the product. Tested and used.

Good budget tripod with handy features

This tripod occupies a strange space. It is noticeably bulkier than the ones I take on long hikes, but not quite as immovable as my serious tripods. (I probably wouldn’t use it in a fast moving stream, for example) The ability to remove a leg to use as a monopod as well as to change the center shaft to a swing arm is a nice feature that I find myself using more often than I thought. The clip to add weight for stability is not quite centered and not immediately obvious, but it works. Overall, it is a serviceable tripod with a lot more heft than your average budget tripod at a decent price.

    The perfect tripod?

The adjustability of this thing is amazing and so is the construction quality. For stationary use, I secure a 10lb ankle weight to it using the supplied quick-release fastener. This tripod isn’t my first choice for travel, but for non travel work it’s the best one I’ve used. The Arca style mount is a bonus.

Holds up a 150-600 + r6! I photograph dog sports, and sometimes I need the camera to go over a low fence. This tripod is heavy, but sturdy. Rotating the center column is very easy and can be done in seconds. Overall well designed and i’m impressed!

    Well made and inexpensive

I was skeptical because of the price, but after reading excellent reviews, I decided to finally upgrade from my 1970s Star D tripod to this.Compared to the vintage Star D, this tripod excels in every way. It is smaller, lighter, sturdier and more flexible. I especially like the ability to adjust leg angle. The pivoting center post is another great feature that I plan to use extensively. The leg locks are solid, I have not worries that a leg will unexpectedly collapse. The fit and finish is surprisingly good. I have the same ball head but with a different branding and have found it perfectly adequate and stable. Finally, the carrying bag is a nice extra.I should have updated long ago, but I’m glad I waited for this tripod at this price.

    Great tripod

It fairly heavy compared to cheap tripods, i wouldn’t backpack with this. The only real problem I’ve had is the head of the tripod is designed to come off so you can use it as a monopod, the issue is if you are using it at a 90° angle looking down you need to be careful which side you put it on because the head will undo itself under the weight. Thankfully the setup is very sturdy so my camera didn’t fall.

    Amazing Product, Terrible Shipment Packing

I received the package with dents, hastily-wrapped tape, and rips all over the box. Inside, however, the tripod frame and the accompanying bag looked untouched, even after a close inspection. So I’m guessing it had a rough trip to me. The tripod itself is strong, well-built with quality materials, sturdy, and takes a couple of minutes to properly understand what each twisty knob and lever does. You’ll get the hang of it soon enough and realize that this tripod is quite a beast. This is my first Neewer product and I’m definitely sure it won’t be my last!A++++ for the product itselfC— for the packing

Product was okay at first. Was not very sturdy when used for flat lay photography. Then after about 6 months of use the legs broke. Would recommend finding a higher quality tripod for overhead and flat lay photography.

    Heavy Duty Tripod

First I liked the color of the tripod and then the weight. Granted it’s not an easy pick up and go tripod. Just a little heavier than sone. However I like the beefy feel . Here in Florida I don’t have to worry about the wind blowing it over. It is ver versatile and stable. If you looking for something that you can trust to good done weight. This is the one for you

    I love it

To be fair, this is my first “real” tripod, so I can’t really compare its quality to the higher end brands- but- I take product photos for my business and it was getting difficult to hunch over them for long periods of time and I could never get enough light. This tripod (and the lightbox I also bought on amazon) is a game changer. It’s very sturdy and the built in boom is a life-saver for my back. So easy to use. Five stars. Highly recommend.
