The media could not be loaded.
I’ve owned this for over two years and it is still holding up fabulously. All of the lights are still working great. It unpacks and packs up very easily and fits all back into the cases nicely.

Lights camera action
Got this to setup my own home studio to take photos of my family. The stands are solid, but the light bulbs aren’t too great. Some parts of the product felt cheap for sure. I’m no lighting expert but some stuff felt more flimsy than not. This is a good starter for the price you pay.

It’s great for what it is, as long as you learn how to use it!
Material malfunctions aside, I don’t quite agree with all the negative reviews I read about this product.Green screen work is an art. The purpose of the screen is to give you a solid, single-color background that you can apply a chroma key filter to via your editing software to remove the background. I was pleased to also get black and white screens, which are great for simple neutral background presentations or for layering to block out extra light.The screens are not high-grade; light can be seen through them. They are also “sheets” of fabric, and are prone to wrinkling. There are some quick and easy solutions to these problems.First, set the screen up without light sources behind it whenever possible. If not possible, hang all three screens together (green, white, black). This should give you enough diffusion to block out most if not all background light.Second, use a cheap portable steamer to steam out any wrinkles after you’ve hung the screen up. I paid around $10 for one and it worked like a charm. Then use the included clamps (or even cheap metal binder clamps) to pull the sheet taut. You can even go so far as to iron out any stubborn creases. Also, if you roll your screens rather than folding them when you put them away, you’ll reduce new creases in the future.Third, learn to light your green screen. This is very important for all green screen photographers, even if you are using a painted green wall. There are countless youtube videos you can watch that explain how to do this. By lighting the background separate from the model, you can eliminate almost all imperfections and you can get clear, crisp chroma masks in post-production.What I don’t like about this kit is how cheap some of the materials are. The bulbs seem nice, but they aren’t assembled well and one came apart in the socket first time used. The rods are flimsy, but fine for holding up the light screens (use only as many rods as you need for the size of your screen; it comes with 4 bars, which is way more than the screens included need). One of the stand legs came crushed, but still works fine. Others weren’t so lucky with their shipments. Plus my package only came with 2 clamps rather than the 6 listed.What I do like is the portability of this setup. Everything fits in a small group of carry cases and setup is a breeze. The umbrellas and softboxes are simple and easy to use.Overall, this is a great kit for portable, streamer, or beginner videographers/photographers. Like anything else with cinematography, don’t expect you’ll set it up and everything is lights-camera-action. Watch some youtube videos or read some tips on how to make the most of what you have.

So-so quality
Pros – easier to carry around, well packaged. Setup easy, backdrop crossbar is a nice design in that you don’t have to use all the pieces if you don’t need.Cons – must have sandbags or some weight to hold the stands in place. Don’t attempt to use outdoors, stands too light and unstable.Probably wouldn’t buy again. But will certainly use the set and not replace it quickly.

Decent product but not for me
Bag ripped before I even got anything out of the box. Not a great start. Couple bulbs were not working, but I had others in stock so it was ok. Getting everything back in that bag for the return was a bit of a struggle since it was already starting to rip apart. All in all not a terrible product, I think I purchased too quickly and was just looking for a background and one more light. I got too excited for a deal! Returned and ordering what I actually need.

You might want to get some sandbags…
Items arrived safely and all work just fine. Not as bright as a flash but it will help you get the job done. I recommend using a tripod or high ISO to compensate. It gives a great impression to clients. Highly recommend ironing all backdrops before use and you can also buy other backdrops (measure width x height accordingly) and it will work as well. 8/10 would recommend. Why 8? It doesn’t feel sturdy enough, wobbles sometimes and if the floor is smooth it slips.

Wanna know the truth?
Good lighting usually comes with a highprice but what I like about this set is that it is cheap but it gets the job done.The material is not the best, so it doesnt feel a little cheap but if you take care of it it will last, just like anything.For these two photos I used my IPhone XR cause I havent recieved my canon yet but you can definitely tell a difference between the two.You definitely need to know where to position the lights to get the best shot. But there isnt much to it.Lightbulbs seem solid and I didnt experience any problem with electricity. But if Im not using the kit I will turn the lights off to prevent overheating.I was expecting to be dissapointed but it wasnt too bad for the price. I dont recommend this for outdoors because the material is very light weight.I’d only use for indoors.

Incredible Deal for Cost and Items in Package! I was hesitant at first due to other reviewers, but glad I bought it!
A lot of previous purchasers complained about the quality of the product, be it the green screen frame or the lights, missing parts, quality of the bag(s), and the three muslin that came with it. It made me hesitate wanting this item, but then after reviewing several in the same price range, I took a risk and pulled the trigger.This set is incredible. It may not be industry grade, but it is exceptional. The lights are bright enough to work really well. All the piece came with the item. Yes you can use both soft boxes and umbrella lights at the same time (nothing is missing). The bag(s) that came with it are good enough. I’ve used them repeatedly as I tear down the set after every use and put them back in the back. The muslin backdrops do not have a scary powder/residue, they are just fine. I bought a steamer to remove the wrinkles for every use. The frame is sturdy enough for indoor use. I’m sure you will need sandbags for outdoor use. I’ve shot two clips using the green screen, and using Premiere I was able to chroma it properly. It’s all about the lighting and I used the lights that came with the package. I haven’t used the clips as yet, but they seem to be fine as well.All in all, you get what you pay for. Understand that you are buying a low end, great quality ensemble that would costs you in the thousands if you went professional with each item. For the low cost, it is quite durable. As long as you are patient you can assemble, the package easily and if you are meticulous and careful this package can and will last for a while.

Just What I was Expecting
The media could not be loaded.
I debated buying this set up for months, read every review and eventually bought it. I am extremely happy with it. The green screen is perfect for filming one person. The lights and the tri-pods work great. They are not heavy duty but this is what I expected for the price. There are travel bags but if you travel, know this is very delicate. I personally bought it to set up once and that’s it. Set up was extremely easy, these guys should teach Ikea about set-up. The green screen does have fold marks but I put in the dryer with a steam refresh. There were still normal wrinkles which freaked me out but overall it did not ruin my first test video. If I could redo my studio this package would be included but…. I would buy a lavalier microphone with a longer cable, I am going to paint my walls green in the studio but would still buy this unit for the lighting and 3 different backdrops it comes with. I am extremely satisfied with this green screen kit for price and functionality. To me these are 3 most important things for green screening, 1. Software ( i use wondershare) 2. A good camera ( I use my phone, Google Pixel XL3 ) 3. Lighting ( I obviously use this green screen kit for lighting.

Great beginner setup for
I’ve had this setup for about 4/5 months now and I’ve moved it from one room to another and it’s managed to be pretty durable. The lighting definitely takes your amateur photography to the next level. I mostly utilize the softbox lights because I haven’t quite figured out how to place the umbrella lights and they don’t really do a great job(at least to me) of passing light through to the subject. The picture I included is straight out the box after set up(brick backdrop not included) and not in anyway properly placed. It took me about 35 minutes to set it all up by myself with 3 kids trying to “help”. It comes with a black, white and green backdrop that are folded so you’ll want to hang them or throw in the dryer to knock out the creases. Overall the set up is easy and manageable by one person. It can get a mildly irritating when it comes to moving the backdrop stand as it’s somewhat flimsy especially when it’s extended to the full 10 feet. Thankfully you can remove the middle bar and make it a more manageable width. Overall it’s served its purpose well. Not sure how it would work for professional photography or if it needed to be constantly moved but for the occasionally family/friend shoot it’s perfect.

First thoughts
Good: The kit would light up a room for portrait photography and will do the job. Comes with a nice and roomy storage bag. Comes with two storage bags. First bag has 2 umbrellas, 2 softboxes, 4 bulbs, 4 tripod stands, 3 backdrop cloths, 2 light holders for umbrella, 6 clamps for backdrop and 2nd storage bag has backdrop kit consisting of 4 bars & 2 tripod stands.Could be improved: The quality of the items are much lower than what I anticipated for the price (I’ve bought other NEEWER products in the past). The tripod stands feel cheap, though they will do the job (I don’t buy into the weight factor as other reviewers mentioned). The backdrop stand will bend if you use all 4 bars. It would have been a much better idea to provide sleeves for umbrella and softboxes to protect them from the tripod stand while storing them.All in all, this is a decent set for the beginners. You might find a much more reasonable kit on ebay with the same items. As for durability, time will tell.

There are so many different kits with different items included, its hard to keep track.This is a review of the Neewer Studio Support System with two soft-box lights, two umbrella lights, three backdrops with clips, and a carrying case.First, the completeness of this kit was impressive, despite the quality of the included items. It was easy to set up and get working. There are obvious quality issues, but you get what you pay for.Things to consider before you buy (with zero comparisons to other systems, as this is the only equipment of this type that I own):> Thin posts on the support system – they telescope, meaning the top ones get very thin. At full height, it cannot support the backdrops without drooping/leaning.> Backdrops that are the “wrong” size for the support system – 4 interlocking poles make up the cross member, each configuration too wide for the backdrops to “reach” the sides, making the clips almost useless. I bought a larger backdrop to use when I need the full size of the support system.> Lights that flicker or fail (two bulbs won’t stay on longer than a few moments). I couldn’t tell if it was the bulb or the sockets. I think its both, unfortunately. I recommend picking up a few extras.> Fairly ineffective umbrellas – just note that they are basically diffusers, not reflectors. No silver on the inside, meaning its almost impossible to direct any light.I will be keeping this kit (mostly because I have a client shoot, and I am taking this with me), but after a spending little more time with the equipment, I think it might be worth investing a little more in each item individually from a better brand (LimoStudio, Neewer, and Cowboy are all pretty cheap). That being said, I am still a novice, and having even this basic equipment is a great thing, and its hard to beat the price.To maximize the quality of this kit, I’d suggest a few additions:> The Softbox lights are great, but too dim. Maybe consider a light socket adapter (
LimoStudio 4 Socket Adapter 4 in 1 Adapter
).> The umbrella stands are fine, but the umbrellas could be better. Consider a more reflective version (

Perfect Setup!
Very easy to assemble, lightweight, but definitely stable and the quality is amazing! It’s very compact for perfect storage! I also liked how everything is adjustable size wise and height wise. The lights are perfect as well, I actually only had to use 2 instead of the 4 because the soft lighting was enough.

You can’t beat it for the price
Everything I needed to take family photos. We now take our own without having to pay high cost studio prices. The quality is very good. Everything was there and assembled easily. I wish it came with more clips but it’s easy and inexpensive to add more if you need them.

Wish I Could Dim Them
These lights have stepped my videos up to the next level! Setup was fairly easy using the included manuals and all of the lights work well. I just wish they came with a dimmer so I control the intensity of the light. However, my videos are more well lit and they burn less energy than the standard light in the room. They take up a lot of space, though, so be sure you measure the room you want them in to make sure everything fits. I also love that there are 3 screens (green, black, and white) and that the rack to hold the screens is adjustable both vertically and horizontally and comes with plenty of clips to hold the screens in place.Packing everything up is a task but not impossible. Great for a photographer or videographer on the go who doesn’t mind taking 10-15 min to set up. It’s also perfect for someone like myself who does sit down Youtube videos or Tiktok videos because you can use the green screen to create any background you like while the lighting illuminates things perfectly. Gives you a professional set to film on for a third of the cost. Highly recommended.

A Start Up, Not a Finish
I’m a natural light photograper, living in a place of 4 seasons you need to accept that you can not control the elements so sometimes things must be done inside. This is perfect for keeping it up permanently in my indoor studio with my other additional set ups. I am not sure why other reviewers were complaining of lack of instruction and quality. First of all, a professional set up costs thousands of dollars (sometimes in the 10s of thousands), so with this set up, you literally get what you pay for. I mainly bought it for the framework as I can always reinforce or DIY an add on if needed. It really only takes common sense to set this up. I have purchased other Neewer products before so am familiar with their function. Most cheap set ups like this are exactly the same, just a different name stamped on the pieces. If you are planning to pack it up and move around to different locations, know that this will certainly start wearing down on the joints and break down over time. This is better as a permanent set up. It was bigger than my living room so I’m happy that it will fit perfectly in my basement with room to expand on the frame. Don’t listen to the negative reviews. Now I can slowly add more lights to my collection.

Very Satisfied
I build furniture for 18″ dolls and my pictures were terrible. I felt my problem was the lighting and I came across this product. The box arrives and inside are 2 carrying cases. One has the equipment for holding the backdrop. The other is case for the lighting stands. Everything is well organized in the bags. Setup was very easy. The backdrops are folded so they might need to be put in the dryer to get the the fold marks out. The lighting kit makes a huge difference in the quality of the pictures. I am not a photographer and so my skills in this area are limited. However this lighting kit did take my pictures to the next level. My only concern is the brightness of the lights. I think I could stand to use brighter bulbs. I will probably try that. All of the stands, etc uses thin metal. So I think it is possible for it to get damaged easily. For the money this set up is a good buy and I am pleased with it.

Great value for the money
I bought this ad a birthday present for my wife and she loves it. It has been very effective in improving the photo’s she takes of her flower arrangements. She is impressed with the quality of r m everything. She/I would recommend buying this product.

Not as great as I expected but it works
I’ve had my eye on this product for quite some time now. Waiting for a good time to buy. That time had finally come and I bought it. As usual prime 2 day shipping was well worth the money.I want to talk about the good first. This product fits in 2 bags literally. It is pretty heavy but no heavier than the usual. Takes 30 minutes to assemble, 15 if you’re just that fast. Assembly is easy and straight forward. Didn’t need the instructions. This item also had great packaging.Now on to my problems. Overall the product does not look as advertised. The backdrops are not as wide as the supplied poll which makes it feel and look a little bit lackluster. And the lighting is not bright enough even when close. It should be much brighter. Out of the box the right post for the backdrop was falling apart. I have to fix it. the backdrops was supposed to be wrinkle-free but they clearly have the crease lines from how they were packaged. Thank God it was straightforward because there were literally no instructions.I’ve attached photos demonstrating the setup and the lighting in light and dark. And a selfie because I doing have my camera yet. The lighting did turn out pretty even but pretty dim. Selfie using Pixel 3.Over all this turned out to be a pretty cheap set up in price and quality. If you were doing something for your child or just very minimalistic then this might be the product for you, otherwise you may find other difficulties.

Almost Perfect-Green Screen fabric is not big enough for frame
Everything was great, except for the fact that you get am 8.5x10ft backdrop and the green cloth does not cover the length. The “green screen” fabric should be made to fit the ENTIRE frame.This is an easy fix and I hope that you will consider making changes for folks interested in your product.Thank you,Ann

Great for YouTube videos and Streaming
I’ve used this kit for a ton of YouTube video work and streaming. The lights are great, however one of the soft lights does not stay in position. It will slowly fall down so I have to place something under it to hold it in place. The locking mechanism for the soft lights could be better. You really have to tighten them really tight to keep them up or down. Otherwise you get a ton of options and great equipment for the price! I will say the green screen holder is much larger than the green screen itself when fully assembled. I would of liked for it to be just as large as the holder, but it is still great for most of my work. Highly recommend for the price!

Great quality and price
I knew this kit came with a lot, but I had no idea it was so robust! It comes with everything I need and even some things I don’t anticipate needing. I think for the price, this is excellent. Certainly someone could spend more money, but this fits most needs at a very affordable price. The quality of the cloth is excellent and I am impressed over all. IF I had any complaint, it would be with the clips and the length of the cloth does not extend all the way out to the very edge if all of the polls are in the frame. The clips are not the best and there are not enough of them. There needs to be at least 4 more in the kit. The ends of them keep falling off. I really like the carrying bag it comes with.

Super great value, amazing for the price.
Still can’t believe how much stuff came with it for the price. Set up was super easy, and the quality was surprisingly very high. Lights don’t weigh anything and are easy to use/position/move around. I gave four stars on portability just because it takes a while to pack up — not their fault of course because it comes with tons of gear. One note (also not their fault) but be prepared to iron/steam the photo muslins before use because they have obvious fold seams in them as they are tightly folded for shipping. Highly recommend this product.

Great Price Photography Kit for Beginners
Easy to set up lighting kit for beginners. Upon opening the package, I noticed that everything was packaged nicely except the clamps. Everything came in one big box with two carrying bags inside containing all of the contents except the clamps which were just thrown in the box causing a couple of them to become damaged during shipping. Other than the clamps, everything else was packaged nicely inside the bags and very easy to open.The light bulbs are the equivalent of an LED light I already have which makes me wonder why they did not include LED bulbs in the kit when they could last longer and be used daily without having to worry about the lifespan of the bulbs.The soft boxes work great. They have velcro on the covers which helps them to stay on and the covers are stretchy which I really like.I did not receive the two umbrellas in my package so I am unable to review them, however I did receive the two light stands and holders for them.The backdrops come folded up in plastic packaging so they will need to be steamed or ironed before using themAll in all, I do like how (mostly) everything came packaged in the carrying bags. One carrying bag was for the backdrop stands and parts and the other carrying bag was for all of the light stands and light bulbs and pieces.Besides the LED bulbs, the only other things I wish this kit had would be CTO filters or dimers on the lights and lights that you can have sitting on the floor pointing up at the subject for uplighting.This is not a kit for professional photography, but It’s a great first kit to play around with and build off of.

Junk, Mostly for Kids or Teens
This is not a serious product. This is a “fun hobby” product for teenagers or kids who want to get a little green screen action or some better lighting for their twitch channel. A cute birthday gift maybe, but this is not a serious product at all.Main problem is the lighting, the sockets that the bulbs screen into are dangerous cheap, not particularly safe at all, one of my bulbs “popped” inside immediately when the light was turned on…one bulb down within minutes of assembling the kit!The light stands are pot metal and wobbly, they work but you”ll want to hold them to the floor somehow otherwise, a slight breeze can tip them over, crash, bang, wires everywhere, a huge mess.The green screen is actually slightly the wrong color, you want a 255,0,0 RGB green if at all possible, this is not quite that, so even when fully and evenly lit you will see tiny artifacts. Not noticeable immediately unless, like me, you seek something truly crisp and sharp.The bulbs, so cheap, utterly cheap terrible flourescent bulbs. Really the biggest bummer of this kit is how cheap and awful these bulbs are. They flicker, so anyone with epilepsy must ENTIRELY AVOID this product, the flickering is terrible, can easily trigger a seizure, or a migraine for some. Don’t spend more than 20 minutes under these cheap lights or a headache will be your reward.Assembly was easy, I should know, I’m terrible with tools, but even I was able to put the thing together. It comes with no real instructions AT ALL and you largely just have to inventory the kit, then figure out which bits belong with which. Don’t call the customer service number IT DOES NOT WORK.You know if its someone mostly amateur, who just wants to add some fun stuff to their YouTube channel or Twitch stream, it’s kind of functional and fun. Like a very cheap train set, it functions, but it’s not really a real train set. Like a tricycle, instead of a real bike.If you want to anything truly serious, save yourself the money, this is mass-produced junk with awful, awful lights that you’ll want to upgrade almost immediately after they arrive.

Everything You Need For A Startup Studio!!
I absolutely love the ease of setup and durability of the equipment. It has allowed my spouse and I to truly step things up in regards to photographing events and social media reels. I would recommend heading to batteries+ and grab a few additional lights, the ones included are nice however they don’t give that soft glow to the skin like the ones we purchased afterwards. Otherwise, no complaints. My husband breaks it down and re-assembles when we travel. I would also advise watching the YouTube video for the items you’ve purchased, as it will definitely benefit you to familiarize yourself with the equipment when you are Have owned it for less than a couple of months so we’ll see about the longevity during transport.

Update: I do understand that sometimes products are defective – even from big named brands. I think what matters is how issues are handled. I have had bad experience dealing with big brand customer service. But in case of Neewer – customer service was phenomenal. They did a stellar job to jump on the problem and provide a resolution. Very prompt responses. Satisfied with the resolution.———–I was very excited to open and assemble the lighting kit but what a bummer.10 mins after assembly – 3 bulbs out of 4 are not working1 dead out of the box2 were flickering – 1 out of these 2 died in 10 mins4th – workingOtherwise the product looks quiet ok for beginner/in-home photography projects. Not too flimsy.Have contacted the seller. Will provide updates if I hear back from them. Otherwise, unfortunately the package goes back to Amazon

In Depth Review!
I expected this setup to by flimsy and cheap but I was actually really impressed when I got this. A couple notes though…1. Be careful while opening the packaging because if you use a knife and cut the edges, there is a good chance that you’ll cut the carry bag that comes with it (I learned that the hard way)2. The actual backdrop stand is flimsy and doesn’t hold the weight of the backdrop that well ( I invested in wall hooks and pvc pipes that I was able to slide through the backdrop and hang on the wall using wall hooks. This costs maybe $10.)Overall, I would definitely recommend buying this setup. Just keep in mind that the 3 backdrops do need to be steamed or ironed because they will come out of the box with wrinkles which is obviously expected.Hope this review helped!

Great Green Screen Starter Kit for Beginners
Very pleased with my green screen and lighting kit. Only wish the light bulbs were just a tiny bit brighter. It came with three color cloths: green, black and white although I was more interested in the green one. 4 sets of lights and a huge stand to hold the cloth. Everything came inside the black bag very organized. By the way, be extremely careful when you open the delivery box with a knife. The knife went through the box a bit to deep and actually damaged the carry bag for the kit. Anyway, I did my first green screen videos and pictures with my kit and was able to place any background I wanted behind my pictures and videos. Here’s one example project I did with a photo using Paint.net with a Chroma Key plugin installed. Very pleased with how it came out. Really getting great enjoyment and usefulness from the kit for my marketing videos.

Good but needs longer cords
This kit works really well but make sure you get some extension cords with it. The cords on the lights aren’t that long so unless you have an outlet or power strip right where you want to put the light, it’s hard to position them where you want them.I’d recommend getting some long extension cords and a power strip or two so you can place the lights wherever you need them.This kit is very portable, easy to set up and take down, and easy to due. The lights are bright and pretty sturdy.Worked great for baby and toddler portraits! And I love that it comes with a green screen too!

Easy Use, Fantastic Results
I was skeptical (despite good reviews) about this purchase when it first arrived. Having set it up and using it, I can say that it’s a great piece of kit! The only draw back were the included lights, but that’s not a big deal. They include 4 CFL light bulbs that tend to washout the subject (even with a diffuser). So I simply replaced them with color changing LED lights and haven’t looked back. I can color-grade my subjects (to a degree!) before filming or photographing them to help save time in post-production and editing. It’s amazing what color changing lighting can provide without the need for color gels/diffusers!This is such an impressive kit for the price, it’s full of the necessities required for properly lighting and filming/photographing your subjects indoors. It comes with two separate bags. One bag is for the backdrop mounts, the poles required for hanging the backgrounds, and tripods to mount the backgrounds to. The second bag is for your background cloths (included are: black, white, green), tripods for the softbox lights, two softbox lights, two umbrella lights and mounting clamps, 4 CFL light bulbs, and 8 clamps for the backdrops. Impressive and it’s massively easy to coordinate set up with another person, or to set it up alone.Let me be clear, it’s not a $3000 set up, so don’t fool yourself into thinking it will perform as such. However, the price for this kit is well worth it and it is something that help your videos or pictures “pop” that much more. For a beginner, this is a perfect gateway into photography and filming and it will make a difference in what you’re filming or photographing. Easily 5 stars and I highly recommend it for others.

Great Starter Set, But A Few Parts Are Dysfunctional
Updated Review: October 4th 2016My wife and I wanted to update our initial review from a 3 stars rating to a 5 star rating based on the amazing costumer service we received from a customer service representative by the name of Sue from the seller standbyon. After mentioning the same issues we experienced as we discussed in the original review below, Sue was able to resolve everything within a week’s time. It was unfortunate that the initial kit arrived with a few dysfunctional items, but after receiving replacement lights and soft boxes without any current malfunctioning issues, we can only assume that the original items either were damaged during packaging or more likely, during shipping. In either case, Sue was wonderful to work with and she completely resolved our issues. As mentioned in our original review, you are getting what you are paying for; however, it is a wonderful starter kit and standbyon’s costumer service was amazing in resolving our concerns. I hope this review helps.Original Review:First, this packaged arrived on time and the external shipping package was undamaged. Ironically, many of the interior boxes were dented due to the two poorly designed bags and one bulb box appeared to be opened prior with multiple punctures and dents in it. This punctured, potentially pre-opened box, may mean the bulb was used and/or tested prior and thus it would explain why it blew 3 minutes after turning it on.Why I Bought This Kit:I recently bought this product for my wife as an introductory kit so she could explore her photography hobby. In general we are happy with the amount of items you get with this kit. However, you do definitely get what you pay for.Pros:-This kit is a good starting point with many of the introductory components a photography might need to get started as a hobby photographer.-The backdrop bars allow for future backdrop growth with wider or shorter attaching bars for future backdrops purchases. However, it already comes with 3 backdrops (Green, Black, White).Cons:- Both of the Softbox diffusers as incredibly unstable (one more than the other). They frequently shift down no matter how tight you tighten the knobs. We had to rig them both in order to get them to stay stationary, but for the price, it’s doable.- 2 out of the 4 bulbs already blew out. We hope this is merely the bulbs getting bounced around during shipping, but it is disappointing; especially since one bulb (from the previously mentioned damaged/opened box) blew out within 3 minutes of turning it on. The other one lasted 45 minutes. The other two are holding up well, and we replaced the burnt out ones with new bulbs with out future incident thus far so we do not believe it is an electrical dysfunction with the product.- All of the stands are a bit wobbly, but again, they work and you get what you pay for.- The 2 bags that come with the kit are designed in a manner that doesn’t protect any of the equipment placed within it. Sadly, that are very loss and bounce around quite a bit. Yet again, for the price, it is fixable and not an issue.Conclusion:My wife loves the kit, but she is concerned about its longevity and future performance after a few sessions of setup and takedown. We know it is a cheaper set, but we would have hoped the soft box diffusers would have at least all functioned as advertised. It was also disappointing that 2 out of the 4 included bulbs already blew out (within 45 minutes). We hope this review helps.

This package and a decent camera is all you need to get started!
I originally purchased a cheaper package, battery powered LED lighting, which was not nearly as extensive in terms of lighting provided. That package was junk but kudos to Amazon for allowing return, no questions asked. This array of gear will get anybody started in portrait photography or minor video production. The stands are sturdy for the pricing and the lights are nice and bright and more than adequate. The fixtures themselves are robust and look like they will last quite some time and the carry bags are nice, too. It’s not the most costly package out there, but it sure gives you bang for your buck. Setup was easy and quick and all the parts were there.The backdrops are heavier than a stand-alone backdrop I purchased earlier from another manufacturer and will offer some nice choices for backgrounds; again, the backdrop stands provided are more than adequate.My only word of advice is to let the fluorescent bulbs warm up for at least ten minutes before shooting to insure proper color temperature; that’s just the nature of the beast. I will probably eventually replace them with LED bulbs, but not any time soon.I particularly liked the little note from the CEO…yeah, yeah, it was a form note, but still a nice touch, plus it gives you contact info for customer service.If you can’t get some great shots with this setup, don’t blame the equipment. I like ’em.

ON a budget it’s probably fine
Just some notes.✅ Fairly simple to setup and not bulky✅ Green screen is quite nicely large and performs well✅ Comes with everything you need including bulbsHowever…❌ None of the stands are stable. This is especially true of the green screen stands where a slight breeze will blow them over. Not recommended for outdoor photography.❌ Because everything is folded, the creases are a bit of an eyesore. (You can use your steam function of your iron upright and go over the green screen or use a hand steamer, but the lightbox covers are hopeless)❌ One of the bulb sockets for the umbrella lighting tripped my power strip AND the room fuse, plus it started smoking from the socket and the wire was hot to the point of near melting. Definite fire hazard – not sure why it was only this one. This particular room doesn’t have significant draw from anything, so I have no idea what happened. ( Fortunately, the “heavy” stuff is pipped to another room and that room has at least 30 devices connected with not a single fuse blown. So something is definitely up with this socket. )❌ Brightness is definitely an issue all around. You’ll need at least two of whichever to get any sort of usable light. I ended up swapping the 45w for 65w in the lightboxes and that seemed to make enough of a difference for me (plus more natural lighting).

Starter level indoor lighting system
If you don’t read my entire review, just know that’s it’s a good starter set for indoor photography and that you’ll probably want to replace the bulbs right away.The materials used to construct the set are thin, light and bendable/breakable of you’re not careful with them. One of the fixtures did not have a good bulb socket and it was difficult to get a bulb in it, it broke the first one going in and then I was able to fix it. I was pleasantly surprised as how stable the stands were, they’re not sturdy by any means, but they fit the job done and I didn’t feel like they were going to fall at any point during our first shoot.The setup looks high end to people not in photography, we received a number of compliments on our ‘fancy equipment’.The lights provided were not bright or the right temperature and I had replacements before I even started seeing it up. The end result was great photos for our small e-commerce business.
