Product description info incorrect
First things first – the model number listed in the product information is incorrect – it is 24-df1000i, NOT 24-df1250 just in case you want to look up reviews and other detailed specs on the HP website before pulling the trigger. I’m not a gamer, just a normal user who likes to stream music and video, plus lots of online shopping. I do like this all-in-one and I’ll keep it, but it doesn’t get a 5-star review. Here are my thoughts so far:*Extremely lightweight and space saving. I’ve set mine up on a small corner desk and still have plenty of space.*I really like the look – very streamlined and the 3-sided borderless display looks extremely modern. I even like the white color – it reminds me of an iMac.*This model has a 512 GB PCIe NVMe M.2 Solid State Drive, which is the latest and greatest technology for hard drives. It is the size of a pack of chewing gum and will leave older traditional hard drives in the dust performance-wise.*The Intel i3 processor is 11th gen and my system boots up completely in less than 5 seconds.*It comes with 8 GB of RAM (2X4 GB), which I’ll be upgrading to 16 GB (2X8GB) in the near future – I feel like HP really skimped on the RAM considering the total price. This can be upgraded up to max out at 32 GB according to HP. There are plenty of videos on YouTube showing how to upgrade the hard drive, processor, and RAM in these all-in-ones if necessary.*Also includes an optical DVD drive and has a 3-in-one SD card reader on the bottom.*The pop-up webcam is only 780p – not HD by any means, but functional and usable. I’ve had no issues with video or sound when on video calls.*The resolution on the display is HD but only barely… I’m underwhelmed. It’s not great but again, functional and usable.*Sound is decent – the dual RealTek Audio speakers get plenty loud although lacking in bass.*It came with a cheap wired mouse and keyboard, I switched it out with a wireless combo to preserve the streamlined aesthetic.*No touchscreen on this model – I knew that going in but saw other reviews that didn’t realize until after they had already received it.

The thing crashed. Still not working.
The thing crashed. I spent hours on the phone with hp technical support. They are mailing me a copy of the operating software that will take a couple of days to get here. I am regretting my online purchase.I am done with HP’s customer service. They gave me a link to a tracking number that didn’t work. After an additional hours worth of attempts to contact them, they were of no help. Amazon support was not the best either. I will buy locally from now on. HP customer service is kinda creepy.

Not like the computers seen in video reviews
I was prepared for the lack of touch screen capability at this price. However, I wasn’t prepared for the wired mouse and wired keyboard so I had to buy those separately. I also was not prepared for NO CD/DVD. The one in the video had them, so, I’ll have to buy an external CD/DVD drive. I gave it three stars because it connects easily, sort of brings stuff over from my older HP automatically, it runs without the worrisome grinding noise my old computer had started making, and it does play my tutorials well. Bottom line, either be prepared to buy your own peripherals or spend those dollars on an upgraded computer.

Overall a decent buy for a general use family computer
We have been pretty happy with this PC so far. For general use, this has been a satisfactory purchase. My only gripe is that all of the USB port are on the back of the unit. Currently, we have this unit on a counter top desk in our kitchen, and there is no easy way to get behind it to hook up phones and other temporary peripherals. Once we have our home office setup, this should be less difficult, but for the time being, it is a frustration.Otherwise, I have no complaints with this computer, and I would highly recommend it as a general use home computer.I haven’t installed my old video games on it yet, so I can’t say what it’s graphic and processing performance is like, but I will try to remember to update the review if I ever get around to that.I’ve just installed and started to run X Plane 11. The PC seems to handle the game reasonably well all things considered. It is surely not a gaming laptop, but it will be good enough for my weekend escapades.On another note, I have also found that there is no easy way to disable the secondary functions of F-keys. There is no override in the BIOS and no other apparent means to change the enabling requirement of the Fn key. This is not a problem for regular use, but it is a major conflict for use during flight simulator gameplay.

Stopping working 5 weeks out-1 week after return window at AMAZON
Fan started making loud noises and computer started freezing up at 5 weeks. It’s past the return window at Amazon (by 2 weeks) and now I am stuck with it. I have to go through HP warranty and have it shipped to one of their service centers to be fixed. This involves boxing it up and then waiting for it. This computer was for a home business that was launching this week. This is costing me significant money as result. I have lost customers because the business uses teleconferencing. HP should be shipping me a new computer and they should eat the cost (as should Amazon) and hassle of selling me a lemon. This is unacceptable. Do no buy this product.

This PC is supposed to have Windows 10 on it but it came with Windows 11.
I purchased this specifically for Windows 10. The software I need to run is not compatible with Windows 11. The PC came with Windows 11 on it and contacting HP Support is a nightmare. Every support option is broken and not working.

Since I’ve purchased this. When you restart or shut down it will sit there with a HP logo on it with spinning dots. Sometime is will correct itself and other it sit there for hours. Totally disappointed and recommends to everyone not to purchase.

NO DVD DRIVE
Does not come with a DVD drive; however, it lists it on the description. So annoying.Also, when I connect my external monitor, I have to shut down the computer, plug in the external monitor and then restart.

So far this has been easy to set up and working like a champ. I do wish they had more instructions with the computer instead of have to search online for more details. I was confused about the camera and thought it was a push pop up, but you gently pull it up into place. Then push it back down into place. The quality is very good. If you are not tech savvy, I would suggest someone help you with all your settings and transferring files from your old computer. The process was long a a bit painful to navigate all the new software, but manageable. I like still having a CD drive and not needed to get an external. I haven’t experienced any glitches, just adjusting to the new system and finding out where everything is LOL. The base is not adjustable. I did have to get a small monitor table to put it on. I guess it would depend on your desk height. Not that big of a deal for me. I recommend.

I’m thrilled
I can’t describe how happy I am with this computer. I do a lot of work online and I’ve always made do with Dell laptops usually refurbished and they’ve served me well. I’ve waited a long time for a nice large screen desktop like this. It was so easy to set up, the screen is so large and it looks so attractive! The keyboard and mouse work perfectly. This has made working so much more efficient and pleasant… I’m so thankful for this computer.

I purchased this computer after becoming frustrated at my poor little Samsung all-in-one (mind you it IS over 10 years old). Samsung just couldn’t keep up with me anymore.So in through the door comes the HP all in one. I wanted an all in one as my desk space is rather tiny (due to projects, herbs, etc just being EVERYWHERE). The speed is fantastic and the setup was a breeze. It began with Cortana walking me through setting up the computer. I ended up turning her off as I didn’t want to upset my Alexa (she can be rather touchy sometimes.)Now, I’m blasting through my worksheets, orders, and shipping notices in no time. I created a few digital items in with no waiting for the screen to catchup.I highly recommend this spiffy little computer. Now, onto finding a printer for my burgeoning business. 🙂

It’s great so far..but…
So everything was going great so far… got it(1/9/22) from the delivery truck with no problem..opened it and see no scratches or anything physically broken and keyboard and mouse and plug in/outlet all accounted for..The problem is when I turn the computer on…It immediately says BOOT DEVICE not found and that I need to install an operating system on my hard disk and the next space says Hard disk(3FO)..So I been trying to get it fix with no such luck cause it’s Sunday and I understand that but if I don’t find a solution by tomorrow night or Tuesday morning I likely have to send this back to get it replace cause I dunno how to check if it’s the hard drive that’s the issue and I just need to take it off and put it back on or it’s the hard drive itself but even then I dunno how to get to it without fear of breaking something …I’m really bummed out about this..

Easy Set Up – LOUSY Audio
This computer was SUPER easy to set up and get running. Faster than any I’ve ever owned in the last 35 years. I had been using 8 so going to 10 was a bit of learning curve, but it was a fairly fast to take that curve.I can run a streaming service, Facebook/Candy Crush and Amazon all at once with NO loss of connectivity or speed. This is a plus.BIG complaint – the audio. Sounds like speakers I had on a transistor radio in the early 1970’s…tinny hard to get loud enough to enjoy.I’ve tried a bunch of fixes, but none have been successful yet.

Great
Bought this for my 13 year old daughter. She already had a chromebook but, I felt it was time for something more. Computer came quickly and was packed well. Easy set up. I have to say this computer is smoking hot. It boots almost incredibly fast and is very smooth running. She does school work, streams, and researches all at one time and it handles it. Highly recommend.

Really purchased the computer to stream music to my home stereo DAC and have quick access to the internet while listening to music.Very easy to hook up and well packaged.

It’s nice/ camera quality not so much.
Yeah I think the price is way off the chain , I love the computer but because of the price not really satisfied , the computer quality is worse that my android camera. Dam shame but I like how it pops up , I think those computer shouldn’t cost so much. :/ But the screen quality is excellent. 11 generation was the reason I bought it. Not quiet sure what that is but just to be on the safe side. Everyday something new pops up , I just wanted to be up to date.

This computer offers a three star performance across the board. Not ma I bought it but would not buy another. It had big shoes to fill my last computer lasted me eight years before this one.

Birthday present
Haven’t had this computer but a week, and so far so good. It is not a touch screen but I like that. Only thing is, it jumped right in and downloaded Windows 11 without me asking for it. All in all 11 isn’t to bad for some , but I didn’t like it. Sent it back and requested a windows 10 , but got the same computer with windows 11. So just sent it back. If your looking for a windows 10, read the fine print and make sure its a 10. I’m very disheartened about this adventure.

Did not get a touch screen and made the purchase just for that feature
It said it was a touch screen, mine was not touch screen which is a total bummer, because I got it mainly for that feature.. Would have returned it but needed it for work.

It sucks
I bought this less than a year ago to use for work. About a month in the first update came through I started getting booted and a blue screen with a stope code error. Uninstalled the latest update and it worked ok until the last update this past week (8/15). It would notnun install the updates, wouldn’t reset basically its now an 800$ paperweight. I did try hp support they finally said its a software issue not a hardware issue and they couldn’t help. I would need to call the other line and its a premium service and their may be extra charges. No thank you. I will try to get fixed but if not it’s going in the trash.

Bad Performance
I order this computer with windows 10 home as advertised. First thing it did was auto download windows 11. Now it is so slow it takes minutes to load the home page and sometimes it doesn’t load at all. I have had HP computers before that worked great, so maybe I got a lemon. I just I can’t recommend this model to anyone.

A great buy!
I am very happy with this item.I ordered this computer for use in my craft area to run my sublimation printer and Cricut software. It works perfectly for that purpose. It is reasonably fast and everything seemed to just work on it right out of the box. The screen looks really nice and is a lot bigger than I anticipated.While probably not the best choice for computationally heavy applications, this computer is just perfect for my intended application. I’ve used it to watch tutorials in HD, download files and control my devices and it hasn’t had any issues at all. My teenage son was using it to play browser based games and said it worked great for him as well.I would definitely recommend this computer to family and friends. It is very stable and works great.

This all-in-one PC is well-suited for everyday use. It has the efficient Intel Core i3 CPU (entry-level mobile CPU). While it may not be an ideal choice for gaming, it is good in basic tasks, such as using Microsoft Office. Its compact design makes it a great option for those seeking a simple PC for everyday needs. And plus it comes with integrated camara, keyboard, mouse, monitor, all together, so no need to buy them separately.I like the simple and compact design. It is small and compact, so great fit for a small room, like our guest room. So we’ve been using it as a guest room PC.Compare to my main gaming PC, this one is super compact and energy efficient too. My gaming PC, equipped with an i7-12700 KF processor, can consume 120-190 W, but this 8-core i3-N300 has a TDP of only 7 W. This is highly energy-efficient, though much less powerful. This is mainly because all 8 cores are efficiency cores (E cores), rather than performance cores (P cores). In terms of performance, it’s roughly equivalent to an i7-6700HQ, which is a i7 processor released in 2015. So, if you have a old PC with something better than i7-6700, then this is not a good upgrade (except it is more energy efficient).The PC comes with 8GB of memory, which is limited, but it’s sufficient for its intended everyday use. You can upgrade the memory to a maximum of 16GB by disassembling it. HP provides videos that guide you through this process. Basic All-in-One for simple tasks
The tl;dr is it’s a basic device for basic tasks that looks elegant. It’s good enough for the MOST basic daily use (browsing the web, basic word processing), but It will require some patience. Here’s a bulleted list of what I think about the HP:- It is well packaged with easy to understand unboxing and installation instructions- Material (recyecled?) nice with a matte screen finish- Stand feels solid, but no VESA mount. It does have an adjustable height though, which is effortless to adjust.- Stand installation is tool free (came with cable organizer)- Keyboard and mouse is off white and will get dirty easily so I decided not to use it.- A ton of bloatware. Uninstall those.- Video is OK and sound is barely passable.- Consumes about 30w browsing the web and watching videos at 75% screen brightness. 60w during a benchmark test.- Unfortunately, no easy way to open this up so you can upgrade the SSD. They’re all probably soldered anyways.

Works well for basic use
This computer was really easy to set up. The base is solid and pretty heavy. I love the feature where you can move the monitor up and down the base. The camera slides up when you need to use it so it’s always covered when not in use. It is not a touch screen. I also think for the price of this computer, the keyboard and mouse could have been wireless and not corded. I ordered this for my teenage daughter to use with school. So far it’s been working well for her. She just needs the basics. The computer runs pretty fast and has great clarity. No issues so far.

Nice All-in-one PC
My home office desk does not have a lot of space so having an all-in-one computer is a huge plus. This pc has a nice wide almost 24″ monitor that allows me to view my designs in a larger format. while I work with graphics, it is not super high detailed so the Intel Core i3-N300 with 8 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, and Intel UHD Graphics card is plenty powerful enough for what I need. I usually tape over my camera so having a tilt-able pop-up camera is a great feature. I appreciate the added privacy feature. Set up was fairly easy, didn’t have any major issues during the process. It runs all the applications I need without problem. So far this ans been a great addition to my home office.

Love it
Love it. The HP name never disappoints. I have an iMac which is all-in-one and this is very similar. The monitor IS the computer, so this is a minimalist design without extra “pieces”, and I have this set up in the guest room. A simple keyboard and mouse complete the look without a lot of wires or clutter. The monitor is perfect size for a small desk and the colors are absolutely brilliant. I’m mostly using this for web browsing and some simple excel spreadsheets and word documents, and it’s plenty fast. Booting up is fast too. I know others have complained about the low RAM, but for my application it meets my needs perfectly. Easy to use with HP support behind it, this is a great computer at a very reasonable price. Especially since you don’t also have to buy a monitor. Definitely recommend.

It’s great for non-intensive work such as browsing the web or checking email, but not a whole lot else. Plan on upgrading the ram because even just 1 tab of Google Chrome takes up over half the ram available.

While this computer is not going to win any drag races It is the perfect computer for my daughter who is 13 for doing our school work on overall it is extremely easy to set up and use it’s plenty speedy enough for basic games and school work.

High quality fast computer.
This computer seems like it: only a monitor but it: a whole computer. The stand is made of thick metal and easy to attach. It is also easily adjustable. I love that the camera is easy to pop up and stores completely hidden. The camera is 1080 HD with a very clear picture. There are multiple USB ports accessible from the back of the computer. Easy to set up and use. It came with a generic wired keyboard and mouse. The keyboard is okay but the mouse was too light and small so I changed it out. Very nice all in one computer. The screen is large and clear visually. It gets really bright but is easily adjustable. The speakers are loud and clear. Great budget system.

Fantastic desktop with sleek design and operation!
This is a FANTASTIC desktop computer and I really appreciate most that it is all-in-one. With the advances in technology these days, your desk space becomes more streamlined and your work more effortless. The system is fast because of its processor and memory and the graphics are VERY nice. The storage space is more than enough and there are plenty of ports for other drives, docks, and anything else you want to accomplish with this. I remember when a good desktop could cost double or triple this amount but this is an excellent example of expenses spared but not at the cost of performance and efficiency.This is a great home computer for personal or small business use that you can rely on to whisk you through your day with no issues at all. The price gives a wonderful value and being able to upgrade the storage and memory is a huge plus, which can double the life and quality of your computing experience. I say it is a wonderful buy and I highly recommend this PC!

Perfect student PC or general use PC
What I really like about this all in one is how much space it saves. It’s very pleasing to the eye and works as a school or general use computer. As you can see from the benchmark I ran, don’t expect to use this as a budget gaming pc. That’s not the intended use for this setup. Overall, it gets the job done as far as paying the bills, spreadsheets, etc.

Disappointed With Quality of this All-In-One Desktop PC
It took a while for this PC to come to my home, and also it took me a while to clean up my desk to install this HP PC on my desk. It was easy to put together. I was quite disappointed with the quality of this desktop. It came with Windows 11 installed. However, the camera and the level of the PC was quite disappointing. It came with an Intel i3-N300 low end processor with on 8GB of RAM. While it suffices for most home functions, it however, does not function well with the latest technology including ZOOM. As you can see from the picture, I could not even show my face with a decent solid or virtual background to hide my background surrounding. I could only use the real background, and could not blur out the background because the processor is so old. the i3-N300 is a low end processor which I did not expect to come in with this price range. I was also expecting a bigger RAM and larger size harddrive. I am very disappointed with the purchase from such a reputable vendor.

The hardware is OK, the software not so much
I have nothing against HP. My problem is with MicroSoft (MS). They (MS) are using their monopoly power to engage in anti-competitive business practices. The setting-up process demands you give MS your name, address, credit card #, etc. Basically, it is impossible to set up the computer without opening up an account with the MS website. More than that; logging into my new computer is the same thing as logging in into the MS website.

Super nice computer! Mother’s Day gift for my Mama. She loves it. Huge screen with quality image. Processing is quick. The best part for me, the fastest setup of a computer ever!! It came well packaged, didn’t even have to put the stand on it! Just unwrapped it, plugged it all up and began the log-in process. This computer is well worth the money. I’m very glad I chose it, especially after a few days & hours of browsing trying to get as big of a bang for the buck and right computer for her. Good purchase!
