Little worried..
Looks to be a WalMart return and not new as specified. The box is fairly banged up here and there and it has handles on the sides that lead directly to the monitor itself. A sticker on top states how to convert the windows from 10 to 11 even though the description says it is Win11. I will update my review when I get it opened and set up. Fingers crossed

This HP Pro Tower 290 works just fine. I have been buying HP computers for years and have never had a problem with any HP computer. I am still using the same HP printer (deskjet 2510) that I purchased in 2016. I have full confidence in HP products.

Got a Bad One
Normally I like HP products very much and have had very good luck with them in the past. However, this time the computer didn’t work at all. It would not let us do anything without first setting up a Microsoft account and then insisted that we had to set up an account as a parent or guardian and give permission for the children to use it. We don’t have any children! There was no way to bypass this screen. They said a code was sent but none ever arrived. We could not access any of the programs either. Support tried to help but in the end suggested sending it back which we did. I’m thinking that maybe we just got a bad machine but just in case anyone else runs into the problem, they will know they are not the only ones to have issues with this product. Here’s your 2-minute warning — be careful of this particular model!

Computer didn’t last 6 months
Do not purchase anything from this seller. They do not stand by their warranties. Swindled out of $639.00. Purchased a computer which didn’t last 6 months. Company refused to communicate with myself or Amazon. I was fired from my job due to no computer. People are just plain rotten.

Look at the pictures before buying
I bought this computer to upgrade the very old computer I had. When I was looking around, I wanted a computer that had a dual monitor set up, so I bought this one as it says that is set up for dual monitors. Up receiving this computer and setting it up the dual monitors would not work right with hdmi cables as there is only one slot and not 2 slots as I have to use the vga cable till I can get a new graphics card installed with dual hdmi ports.

Nice All in one computer and a great value
Computer was easy to startup for the first time. Itt did update to the latest version of windows 11 on the initial setup. Overall the setup took less than 15 minutes before I was up and running. The touch screen works flawlessly and the monitor has a nice crisp picture. You can hear the drive inside or the fan making noise especially in a quiet room but this is not really an issue, just thought I would point it out since this is an All in One computer and a little different since normally the tower would be sitting further away from you. Overall it is performing perfectly with no problems. WiFi was really simple to hookup as was the wireless printer. Camera quality is average for a computer in this price point and can be placed out of sight until you need to use it.

Great design and very essential!
I needed a new computer for my home office and laptop computer screens are just too small.This is perfect in design and size. Because I use a usb headset and a usb 2nd monitor, I only have one port extra to use for flash drive etc.I know I can always add additional ports if I need to.I’m very happy to have 16 gig Ram and it runs great!Great product for a great price!

HP Pro Tower
Received a day late in a non HP original box. Box was provided by UPS. Makes me think it was damaged in transit by UPS or I received a used/ refurbished PC. Not real impressed if it came from shipper in this manner. Nothing I saw on the add indicating it was not new. Disappointed but seems to work okay.

Nice desktop if you don’t need a laptop
My 10 year old HP desktop finally died and I needed a replacement. I don’t need a laptop and wanted a SSD hard drive and an optical drive. This fits the bill nicely. Not top of the line, but fine for what I need.

You get what you pay for
Had HP for over 10 years. Best PC. Thought this would be even better. WRONG. First, no internal speaker. Guess that’s common now? Had to attach speakers. Bluetooth doesn’t connect. Slow. Doesn’t keep previous pages viewed in either Chrome or Firefox. I don’t like Microsoft Edge. There’s more but don’t want to add to review. Don’t waste your money.

BUYER BEWARE – Poor customer service if there is a problem; even when still under HP warranty!
It was a great computer for 5 months, but due to a defective 16GB ram chip the computer will no longer boot up. It has become a $550 paperweight. The computer is still under factory warranty and HP diagnosed the problem as defective ram but is only willing to send a replacement 4GB ram chip; Amazon provides no way to contact the seller, ProTech PC, and Amazon isn’t willing to help in anyway even though they advised me in an email that if the manufacturer did not provide a resolution to contact Amazon again for a solution. Have spent countless hours via email, chat and phone calls with both Amazon and HP to no avail. Yes, I know I can pony up and buy my own 16GB ram chip…but it’s the principal of the matter! $550 for 5 months of use is too steep a price to pay on a retired income. Buyer beware! If any of the parties involved would like to step up and make this right, I will be more than willing to revise my review.

Problems right out of the box.
I bought it because it was a reasonable price. I don’t need a lot, no gaming, don’t need tons of storage, ect. So far I can’t copy anything. The is an error message whenever I turn it on but I don’t know enough about computers to do anything about it. I thought HP would be good but not from this vendor. Hope I can get it fixed or return it.

Extremely Annoying
Prepare to be barraged by relentless, annoying, full-page ads that pop up nearly every time you click on anything. My old high-speed System 7 computer I built several years ago fell out of grace with Microsoft’s dropping support and fewer and fewer things continued to work. So, I figured it was time to buy a new machine. What a disappointment this thing is. Slow and extremely aggravating to operate.

Meh…gets the job done.
Nothing against the seller at all. Item came promptly and no damages what so ever. However, the computer itself is quite mediocre. I’m somewhat convinced that the lack of speed is due to the fact that the ryzen 3 processor can’t handle the operating system. Even with all the initial updates I’m still noticing way slower start up time as well as programs loading way slower compared to my laptop. Will probably pay more next time for higher processor count.
