    Arrived with a stuck pixel

Basically a perfect monitor, however it arrived with a stuck pixel. It’s been a few months and it has not fixed itself. However, it is just one pixel, and for the most part it goes unnoticed. Thought I would wait to post a review in case things turned out better, but they did not. Still a great monitor though, and others do not seem to have this issue.

    Excellent monitor

Are use for telework, and instead of three screens, I use one which is absolutely amazing and much easier to upload all the programs I need and just slide across the screen instead of sliding up and down and all around three different screens best purchase ever

I am happy with this monitor

So what you need to know before buying is that this screen runs HDR and some times when your streaming to other people they get a version that is really bright. Its because they dont have HDR monitors themselves besides that its a great monitor good picture and frame rate.

This will work at 120Hz on PS5(see below)

This monitor is a steal for the price. It is true that it only has hdmi 2.0 and so you cant use HDMI to get 120Hz on PS5 out of the box, BUT you can get a HDMI 2.1 to Display Port powered converter cable. I did and it works at 1440p 120Hz on my PS5. You just need to cable which will plug HDMI side into PS5 and DV side into the monitor. It works and without any noticable latency added. I play WARZONE and MW3 hardcore mode and this thing is incredible for the price. So I mounted mine. For reference I had a Samsung Odyssey G9 that was so heavy it broke off the mount I had and destroyed the screen. So I am used to a super high end monitor. This LG does not dissapoint and it was over $1100 less than my 49 INCH G9 (Which was over kill, lol). 32inch is really the perfect size for PC gaming, anything bigger makes it harder to catch players on the edges as its just too wide when it comes to competitive gaming. My only gripe is the stand. They need a redesign for this stands as they kill desk space.

    Great for the price

I’ve had this for a few months and i really like it. Not a top of the line monitor but for casual gaming and computer work i love it. To my surprise quite a bit supports the wide screen resolution, i think I’ve only come across one site that wasn’t optimized. The built in speakers are garbage but who really uses those. Very pleased

I bought this monitor twice! And returned it twice!

All the features I was looking for in a monitor was in this one package! As I thought first time I bought it it did great with my productivity stuff which was amazing. But had issues in the gaming area the monitor kept going dark at random times I was gaming I looked into every seething in my computer to see what the issue was and could not find one solution so I chucked it up to be the one monitor that may have been a lemon but I felt that this monitor was perfect for both productivity and gaming options I bought again same issue with the gaming side the scree kept going black I talked to lg reps and tried all the options they gave me still same issue I would give this monitor a 10 for productivity and a 3 for gaming. Also I don’t recommend buying monitors from amazon they have held on to my money for about a month and still waiting I understand checking the monitor but it’s a bit annoying to have to wait so long to get your money back I personally will not be purchasing any more monitors from Amazon because of the lengthy wait to get your money back.

    Great

Great value when on sale. Monitor is perfect if a bit narrow (but I was aware of this when I purchased it). This is equivalent to two 24-25” monitors side by side without the bezel. Used this for a sim racing rig. If you want to VESA mount this you will need to purchase some M4 extension posts due to recessed screw holes.

Nice picture, used mainly for business and light to moderate gaming

I picked up two of these during Christmas because there was a very nice sale. Both monitors work great for business or light to moderate gaming. I’m not a hardcore gamer so they may be fine for that too. The screens had no dead pixels, are very bright, and clear. The feet of the stand are large, to the point I may replace it with a wall or desk mounted vesa bracket. One caution on that, the vesa plate is submerged into the back of the screen by roughly 1/4 of an inch. The opening is 120mm square, so make sure 100mm bracket you use fits in the 120x120mm opening.

    Better for games than expected

Had this monitor for a few days now and expected to use it for work and gaming. To my surprise it excels at gaming but not so great for work. Most important work consideration is if you have any trouble at all making out small text, this is probably not the monitor for you. The pixel density is great, until you need to read anything, especially in an environment where text doesn’t scale with system text, which is my case. The HDR is surprisingly nice in games, though I disabled the dimming zones as they don’t really add much and are distracting at times. Frame rate is great, and overall a very good monitor and a nice size compromise to some of the larger 32:9 offerings out there.

wow not bad for the price, Discount Samsung G9 for sure!

Yes this is a monster, way wider than my 40″ 4K LG HDTV. One thing for sure is all the bells and whistle of a gaming monitor for a sub-800 price. Beating most midrange 21:9/Ultrawide out of the water!Pros:It’s wide!Feels like a Samsung Neo G9! at 1/2 the price!Cons:-Too wide! Not enough content, and you have to windowless fullscreen if you multitask/watch YT while gaming.-It’s not edgeless or near borderless it has a small 1/8th or 3/16th of an inch border as well as a mis-alignment, maybe I have to fix it with the settings, but my cursor goes 2-3 mouse clicks away from screen. Maybe it’s a nvidia thing I have to fix in windows.-Wish it was a bit taller by 3-5 inches, So I feel like 21:9 is actually a ratio I want instead of 32:9.-FOV/zoom effects a bit jarring for people whom aren’t used to curved/widescreen monitors. Even in flat games like RTS there’s a bit of a fisheye/distortion that people have to get used too.-Not OLED

Very good monitor for current games!

There is nothing bad to say about this monitor. For the price, it is one of the best monitors. My small issue is that games that are not made for these types of super gaming monitors cannot take advantage of the full scope and scale of the monitor.I play a game that is 9 years old. The issue is with the game software, not the monitor. The game is compressed when configured to best specs on the monitor. My advice is stick to older monitors with older games. Otherwise, this is a great monitor for current games and work.

    Sweet Jeebus, it’s LARGE

I didn’t think it was going to fit in the corner where I wanted it, but surprisingly, it did. Now, when I come into my game room this thing greets me and something about seeing it at first when I walk in is satisfying. Brightness is awesome. It’ll allow pretty much as many fps as you want. I limit it to 100 fps because Forza Horizon 5 works the GPU significantly. The size is amazing. It was worrisome at first, but wow! It’s amazing. This review is poorly written, but I would definitely recommend this monitor.

    Great for mid-high tier builds

I use a 3080 and this was a good price range to be in for the bang that you get for your buck. I was and still am very happy with the refresh rate and the color accuracy of this monitor as well as the features that come with this monitor. I think that this size of monitor is a good size for gaming.

2-weeks in and great so far

I got this when it was on sale for Black Friday so for the price you cant beat it at all.The only thing I was worried about what the coloring and ghosting cause of the VA panel. However, this thing has no issues at all.Coloring it great right out of the box, I didnt adjust anything. You can search around and there are people who will tell you to boost the saturation and contrast a little but I didnt find I had to.And I dont see any noticeable ghosting that makes me feel like theres a problem.Sometimes I wonder how picky people really are? I played probably 20-hours of Halo on this and didnt notice anything and that was on max-settings.Also the stand, its not a bad stand but I did buy a budget-brand desk mount and it made everything way better.

Read specs! Missing a few necessary features.

Took me 2 hours of troubleshooting to only be told by LG representatives that this 45gr65dc doesn’t come with any internal speakers. None. If you want sound, either have earphones or purchase a seperate external speaker to plug in. Also, the screen is nice and big but in my opinion its not tall enough. Should had been 2 inches or so taller.

    Decent monitor.

For light gaming content creation and video watching this thing is amazing! I would not recommend it for heavy gaming just because most games don’t support stretch resolution, but the picture quality un-tuned is amazing!

    Huge Display

I bought this monitor after I accidentally cracked the screen of a 34” ultrawide monitor from Samsung that I only had for a weeks (it was my own fault I admit but probably wouldn’t have happened for reasons I’ll get into shortly). I’m used to working on dual displays and so I decided to just buy an ultrawide that could do the same as having two separate monitors. I do some gaming but I wouldn’t say I’m a hardcore PC gamer (but having a high refresh rate is a nice bonus for when I do). I only got this yesterday and so far I’m very happy with it for a few reasons because they were lacking in the Samsung monitor I purchased. First is the built in speakers (I haven’t ent tested them enough to speak for the quality yet) because my last monitor didn’t have them. Almost every monitor I’ve had regardless of price had some form of built in speakers and the Samsung monitor had none despite costing more. They don’t have to be amazing but if you’re gonna spend over $300 on a monitor they should be standard. Next is the fact that you can adjust the height and angle on the screen. That was one one gripe I had with the Samsung monitor and part of the reason I accidentally cracked the screen (I was trying to install a Vesa mount on the back when it slipped and hit the the corner of my desk). I could not adjust the height of that monitor or tilt the screen. With the LG I can easily adjust it to whatever height is comfortable to me.I know it sounds like I’ve spent more time complaining about my previous monitor (I admit I’m still a little salty as it happened in the last few weeks) but I’m really satisfied with this. I wasn’t happy about having to buy a new monitor so soon but this was less expensive than repurchasing the same monitor with the same shortcomings and is probably what I should have gotten from the start. Heck I can even try to send off my other monitor for repair and have dual ultrawides lol.

    Great Monitor for the price

I’ve been wanting an ultra wide monitor for a while now and ended up choosing this one out of three (Acer, Lg, and Lg #2).Pros:VESA COMPATIBLE (A review was saying how Vesa isn’t compatible and that isn’t true. I purchased a 100 x 100 Vesa mount and it works)160 HzColor Accuracy is great when paired with MacDisplay PortPS5 supports 1440 120 HZ (Other two monitors didn’t even though they they are above 120 HZ)Overall good curvaturePrice ($250 Black Friday)Built in speakersCons:Black smearing is evident. I’m not 100% sure but I believe it’s because it’s a VA Panel.VA Panel. IPS is better for color accuracy but Amazon was asking $300 more.Monitor stand is too big. I had to purchase another one (Vesa 100 x 100 compatible).Overall:For the price and its specs, it’s a great deal. I personally didn’t care about the black smearing as there’s not too much text in a black background anyways. If you prioritize color accuracy and refresh rate, this is a great monitor.

    great monitor for the price

great picture, no dead pixels, i was worried that going from a triple 27 inch set up, this might be to small, but its big enough to make that transition pretty easy and small enough to give me back some space in my gaming room. after weeks of searching and researching different monitors, im glad i bought this monitor.

Wouldn’t want it any other way

Transitioned to this monitor from a 1080p display about 23″. This is a huge upgrade and the ultra wide monitor is stunning. The display is beautiful, and offers several different display settings to choose from. Colors are vibrant and bright, and response time is pretty flawless. Nice notch for cable management in the back of the monitor to hide all of the wires and cables. Everything is very adjustable and user friendly. I wouldn’t want anything smaller, especially for gaming. This is a must and the price is pretty decent considering the quality. It’s worth saving a little more for something of this quality.

    Nice Monitor

I got this to replace two 24 inch monitors in my recording studio. It was really nice, easy to set up, and very light – lighter than one of the single 24inches I replaced. It goes together in a snap and is easy to manage despite the large size. The PQ is OK – not as good as the pro-level monitors I replaced, but plenty acceptable for my studio. No idea how it does for gaming as I don’t do that. However, at the end of the day, it was slightly smaller than the two 24 inchers, so I returned it and went with the 49 inch version which is almost identical except for the back panel lighting and heavier metal stand. For the money, this was the better deal, but I was afraid I’d have regrets about the size.

    Amazing Price and Picture!!

I bought this because it has a great Refresh rate and the Price was killer. THis is my first curved monitor and i’m loving it. I almost went with the big brother 45″, but heald back to reserve some desk space. Its not the best of the best but the picture looks great. I’m no expert in monitors by any means but MS Flight sim is beautiful on it. I was super nervous because i bought it “used – Acceptable” for a steal so i didn’t know what to expect. When it showed up it was in the LG box and hadn’t even been opened. Everything was still wrapped up. Win!! Hope this helps.

Incredible Value and Quality, but no VESA mount

I don’t game – this is for my trading station. It works great. It does not support the VESA external mounting, however (not a problem for me, but you need to know that). I love the brightness, the curve, the size, and the resolution. I would not want a monitor any smaller with this many pixels on it. I was able to change out my matched, dual FHD (1920×1080) monitors for this one. Doing the math, this screen has more pixels than those in a smaller footprint (because it’s a vertically taller resolution – 1440) and it’s super at viewing very large Excel Spreadsheets without a screen-border divider in between. Note that I do not game so I cannot vouch for speed of the screen updating, etc., don’t even know how to interpret those metrics, honestly. I highly recommend this monitor.

    Switching between PC and Mac

This is the “65” model of the LG 45GR65DC-B without the USB C which saves over $100. I have an i7 HP (DP) and an M1 Mac Mini (HDMI) connections. Takes the place of 2 27” displays and can be sectioned into different sized screens. Quick and responsive with nice color. It sits under my LG 34UMB58 screen with LG soundbar between bothNot a gamer but no issues with graphics or reading textWhen both computers running, have issues going from Mac to PC. The Display port won’t connect without me shutting down the Mac or unplugging PC and reconnecting. That’s a concern for me.

    Great improvement over dual monitors

I recently replaced my dual monitor setup with the LG 45GR665DC-B and thus far, I’ve been very happy with the decision. I do not use the monitor for gaming so I cannot comments on these specs, but for work with Windows 11 it’s been great (text clarity is great, spreadsheets amazing, etc.).As other reviewers may have commented the base for this screen is large (makes sense with an ultrawide monitor). It takes up a lot of desk space at around 13 inches in depth and 23 inches in width. The mount on the back of the monitor is…different. Very efficient with the provided stand (no screws, etc.) as it just kind of pops in…but still massive on the desk. The specs indicate that a 100×100 mount will work for this…but I haven’t seen a wall mount / arm that does not connect via screws so…I’m not sure what to do from here as I do want to get it off the desk.If anyone finds a good mount / arm for this monitor – please share!

The best and the perfect monitor for remote work-and-play display for my needs. HANDS DOWN!

This LG 45″ super ultrawide [part/model: 45GR(65/75)DC-B] with a 32:9 aspect ratio has proven to be the best work-and-play monitor I have ever owned. I primarily bought this monitor for my remote job, which requires me to work long hours and split tabs into windows of different sizes to work efficiently. Previously, I had a 49″ Samsung Neo G9 (2021 version) with a 120Hz refresh rate, which turned out to be a game-changer. With that monitor, I can easily fit all the windows I need for work without any hassle, but I found it too overwhelming and couldn’t tolerate such a large screen for gaming purposes.I have previously owned several 34-inch 21:9 3440x1440p monitors, which were the perfect size for both productivity and gaming. However, I was wrong… I found it challenging to fit all the windows I needed on one screen. So, the solution would be to try a single 32-inch 4K monitor, which would be perfect for work because it would scale the programs, user interface, and other miscellaneous windows. However, after a week of using it, I realized that the text size, scaling of my browser/program windows, and sharpness were not suitable for my needs. In more detail, I had to lean over closer to the monitor to see everything clearly, which caused neck pain, but that would be the end user’s fault (me) because I would forget to zoom back in on the text. Again, I only had it set up that way because I was trying to fit as many windows as possible.Initially, I was considering going back to the 49-inch monitor. However, I stumbled upon a newly released 45-inch monitor with a 32:9 aspect ratio and 1440p resolution. Since I already knew what the 49-inch monitor was like, I decided to try this one. After checking out the dimensions, I had a genuinely good feeling about it and decided to invest in it. I am incredibly pleased with this purchase and will never give it up… for now. I freakin’ love this thing! I don’t typically write product reviews, but I just had to get the word out on this beast. Definitely the best bang for the buck!

Review for the VA panel version

Having been an IPS fan for the last fifteen years, I have been disappointed by the poor black level of the newer IPS displays. Due to the increasing brightness (nits) of backlights on modern monitors, combined with IPS’ traditional weaker black level and low contrast ratio, this has created a perfect storm where it’s really not ideal to view dark content (such as the catacombs in Dark Souls, or caves in Elden Ring) on an IPS display anymore. However, my last experience several years ago with a VA panel ended badly as the colors were very drab and muted.Since it’s been several years, I decided to try another VA panel.I’ve been very pleasantly surprised here. With a brightness of 300 nits and a contrast ratio of 3000:1, this VA panel gets *just* bright enough to look good, and has a very good black level. Black areas actually look black, not gray. The colors are not as rich as a modern high-end IPS screen, but they are just as good as my older or less expensive IPS displays. This VA panel is capable of vibrant enough colors without oversaturation, with a little tweaking. It is far better than the VA panels from 2016-2017 which always looked dull and dim no matter what.Another strong point is LG’s factory calibration and the contrast ratio and black level. Dark dungeons look dark, and bright points (such as torches) really pop by comparison. It’s not OLED black level (obviously) but it’s a lot closer than I expected and this has become my primary monitor (replacing a 16:9 Asus ProArt IPS) because of how richly it represents dark tones and contrasted environments. The spooky path to the New Londo ruins (with the blue ghostflame torches) is visually stunning. It doesn’t really require much tweaking to look good or accurate, either. Maybe bump the saturation by 10%, just to squeeze more out of the panel, turn off the gimmick features like “black boost” that make the image look faded by limiting dark areas, and you’re good to go. LG’s factory calibration has always been better than the competition and the same is true here.

Took me two years to find one I like!!!!

Two yers ago when I bought my new Mac I loved it and still do!! I just wanted more screen Real estate as my brother. 🙂 I looked and looked for two year!! I wanted something that could keep up with the specs of my Mac when it comes to the refresh rate. My Mac runs at 120HZ the monitor can run up to 200HZ my main computer can support it up to 144HZ and it is a 2021. Even my brother who is more picky than me said 144HZ is plenty. When it comes to computers I would say he’s right. I love how light is was when lifting it. It only took a few to set up! I know the price tag was definitely steep, but it literally came with every type of connection in the box that you may need depending on your current set up to use it as a secondary monitor or even your main monitor. I myself needed a USB – C connector, and it came right in the box and the cord was actually a fair decent length not like those short ones that have come in other items that I have purchased in the past. It was literally plug-in and play. You can’t beat that! If you’re anything like me, and use the, type to text make sure you change the settings back to using the built in mic. That would have been a dealbreaker for me if the computer wouldn’t have been able to pick up my dictation of having the monitor connected. Luckily, it was an easy fix. You might have to restart your computer. Once you change the settings only had this thing for two full days, and I do not regret it, you can see the photos. It is a bit of a space hog but I do have a wall coming for it later today.

Don’t buy it w/o the extra warranty and i love the monitors

I love the monitors. i bought 2 of these and attached to a dock. Since I had 3 Asus monitors that lasted 6 years, and w/ a product like LG, why would i need the extra monitor. Except purchased in July, writing this in March, just short of 8 months, the DP connector on one of the monitors died. HDMI still worked so I had a work around. However, good thing i saved the box, I had to ship it in, LG paid for shipping, but I had to have a box, and it being a curved monitor, I’m glad I kept the box. Usually with extra protection, they ship the replacement to you, then you ship it back. W/o that, I’m shipping it to them to fix, they ship it back. fingers crossed. 🙂

    This thing is wide AF

I bought this because my second monitor failed and wanted something wide for games. I believe this will work fine. It’s very…. very wide and takes up my whole desk. I hope that I don’t wear out my neck spherical joint for looking back and forth.

    Mixed feelings

My boyfriend is a hard core gamer and he had his monitors since a teenager…. it was a time for a upgraded. I got it as a Christmas gift for him on Black Friday but it didn’t arrive until end of December. Customer service was pretty bad…. trying to fix and figure out why it was out in transit for almost four weeks and couldn’t get a straight answer. They were telling me the package was lost and there’s nothing they can do about it. Then it arrived randomly without a update. I was trying to get replacement they declined, was really upset since it was a gift. Once I got though he was pretty excited. Yes it’s different than usual monitors because of the curve but it’s pretty cool. It’s not a huge difference but easy to get used to. Graphics are pretty great.

    Looking through a screen…

The monitor is decent for the price but the reason I sent it back was because I felt like I was looking through a screen. I thought maybe there was a film on it, nope. Did I have HDR on/off, yep, tried both ways. It was leading to a not crisp picture for me. When I played StarCraft (don’t judge me), the picture seemed fine. I didn’t love the 1440 resolution, I wish it was a bit taller. It was relatively light. You can mount it or use the stand. For the price, decent, but my eyes just couldn’t handle that the picture wasn’t crisp on my PC or Mac and that it felt like I was looking through a screen. It was like a double screen effect.

Not need to worry about ppi it looks very crisp and colorful regardless of a lack of oled. It’s really smooth too for fps players.

    Excellent monitor

I am extremely happy with this monitor. I just bought a new gaming PC and wanted to upgrade from my 1080p 75 hz monitor. I chose a VA and 2k as I use it for work as well and had some concerns about 4k for productivity tasks, the clarity and contrast are a massive upgrade from my 27″ samsung. I am super glad I went with ultrawide it’s a game changer. I had heard some people voice concerns about it being TOO wide for FPS or MOBA’s. I haven’t played any MOBA’s lately but if anything the extra screen space is a bonus in FPS and definitely so in any other types of games. It fills my peripheral vision and creates a much more immersive experience.CON: There is just a single one, the HDR looks great but does causing some washing out in parts of the screen. As an example my menu’s in Baldur’s Gate 3 look super washed out with it on. I think they knew this though as they have a “HDR Effect” option that comes pretty close to actual HDR without the washout. All in all it’s a fantastic monitor for 350$. To do much better you will have to spend significantly more.

    Great Monitor, bulky stand

I love this monitor soooo much more than my last curved but only down fall is the depth of the stand. It’s definitely deeper than others so keep that in mind if you have shorter depth tops. Makes it sturdy though

Works well with both new Mac Mini and PC

I bought a Mac Mini to replace a 2017 iMac. Bought this to connect to both my PC and my Mac Mini. Have the Mac connected through a Thunderbolt/DisplayPort connection and the PC with an HDMI connection. Works well. Now I just have to organize the cables.

    For all the second guessers….

I was very sceptical about buying this monitor for many reasons, main one being the lack of reviews not just here, but all over the internet. it seemed as though LG wanted to keep this monitor under wraps…. but wow let me tell you i am truly impressed with this monitor. right out of the box the colours didn’t need much tuning at all. My eyes may not be trained to nicer monitors, coming from a 1080 165 hz monitor, but from what the reviews i watched said, i was expecting it to be on the dimmer side at 300 nits, but its more than i could ever need. HDR is fine nothing to rave about, and a mild amount of ghosting. ive tested it on a few titles such as fortnite, call of duty, and spider man for the full ultrawide experience and i cant say i was dissatisfied at all with the colors or anything major. I got this on sale for 300 and i couldn’t be happier with the purchase. For anyone whose sceptical about buying it, just do it you will be happy especially if you’re coming from a 1080p monitor or below. its only day one for me, so this is a disclaimer. I will report back a few months from now to see if everything stays as great as it is. thanks for coming to my ted talkEdit: coming back after 4/5 months and I’m still just as in love with the monitor as I was on the first day. The ultra wide experience is phenomenal and I wouldn’t want it any other way. No dead pixels, no issues in general and everything is running smooth! Still would recommend buying this monitor for anyone who’s looking to get into their first ultra wide. Obviously there are better options out there, but this is perfect for the casual to heavy gamer, and I’m sure other things as well. Thanks LG for a problem free monitor at least for now

    Fantastic on Sale

I bought this monitor when it was on sale around Thanksgiving and Black Friday. This is perfect for browsing the web, watching movies, and playing games. I love that it has HDR and built in speakers. I highly recommend anyone to pick this if you want an inexpensive ultra wide gaming monitor.

    It’s a great monitor but…

This monitor is pretty much great. It’s exactly what I’m looking in an ultrawide in terms of the ratio. This is my experience using it with the PS5, not a for the PC. While I think it’s a great gaming monitor the only slight issue that id like to let some one know if they plan on buying this is, after a while (this could just be a me problem) the screen flickers/turns off and on only while loading into another game. I’m not sure if that’s due to the hdmi cable I’m using, or if it’s e timely an issue eith the monitor. As of this review, I haven’t had any other issue than just that.

Terrible ghosting, and USB-C version is too expensive

I got the 32:9 variant of the monitor on this product listing. Specifically, the version with a USB-C port. I ended up returning it. The main determining factor was the VA ghosting. Still images on this monitor look great. But any time there’s a high contrast between two colors side by side, there’s a horrendous amount of smearing whenever the two colors are moving. The easiest example is using YouTube in dark mode. Any time you scroll, the thumb nails have this weird color shifting effect. Another example that really bothered me was in Sea of Thieves. My ship was painted black, and any time I looked at it against a bright blue sky as the background, I would see a dark green trail follow the ship as I moved my mouse. There’s ways to reduce this affect, but they all just reduce the contrast to a point that you might as well have just bought an IPS display. And they don’t even fix all of the ghosting problems. Another issue that I believe is related to the ghosting is that any time there is a pattern going across the screen, it becomes extremely jittery. This is an oddly specific example, but if you’ve played Portal 2, you may remember that the white surfaces have a texture with several small bumps all over the panels, arranged in sort of a grid pattern. When those surfaces were on screen and I was moving my mouse or walking, it felt like the camera was shaking due to the jittery-ness.I bought this monitor without realizing that there was a cheaper variant without the USB-C port. That part is my fault for not doing enough research before making my purchase. However, the non USB-C variant was $550 at the time of purchase, while the variant I bought was $700. $150 for a USB-C port seems absurd to me.My final issue with this monitor isn’t anything wrong with this one in particular, moreso with 32:9 monitors in general. They’re great for productivity, but many games, especially older ones, don’t work well with them. In particular, any game that does not have an FOV slider will not look right. Objects near the sides of the screen end up being stretched to a point that they look much closer to you than they actually are. And most games still place your HUD in the far corners of the screen, meaning you have to look left or right to see it. You can turn the resolution down to 2560 by 1440, but then what’s the point in having a 32:9 monitor?Overall, I would not recommend this monitor, especially for gaming.

Got it for $300 and I am still going to return it.

Pros:-Stand Quality-Easy to Setup-It’s a LG (my go to Monitor brand)-User Interface easy to use (Maybe too easy see cons)-Built in Speakers (I use headphones gaming, but it’s nice to give your ears a break when you are on YouTube or Facebook)-160 Hz is good gaming performance on UFO Framerate Test and in games-Price was only $300Cons:-Black text against a white background has a teal and or orange hue around the text literally seeing it now as I am writing this-MaxxAudio on this monitor is not as good as my others (LITERALLY 0 BASS IT SOUNDS LIKE 100 TREBLE)-Lack of options in Audio on interface compared to my other LG monitors with MaxxAudioConclusion:-I have a LG Monitor at work that is IPS, and has the Maxx Audio speakers. I bought a 3440×1440 so when I remote in my screen isn’t messed up due to the size difference. There are more options on my work monitor and the speakers just flat out sounds better (Like WAY better) on my work monitor. They limited the sound setting on this monitor, so you can’t increase bass or any other basic sound settings. IPS does not have the color hue I am seeing on this panel.Unfortunately I will be returning this due to the poor sound and the poor color hue. I was hoping for $300 it would be a good fit, but for this doubling as a work monitor it is a HARD NO!

    Supper cool game play

At first the 165hz speed was working the video card and the CPU to max. CPU @ 4.3 GHz. Cleaned the whole computer and the CPU cooling fan but did not have the correct thermal paste. Used a thermal pad I had but still too hot! Then came the update new paste I order and a update from AMD for the video drives and all it back to normal temps and speed!

    The image isn’t perfect.

The low blue light function turns the screen colors in grey colors, the image is a little blurry if you see it from screen center to the corners, but otherwise is a good monitor for multitasking for that reason only 4 stars,

    Excelente compra

    Best $250 spent in awhile

The media could not be loaded.

I wasn’t even in the market for a monitor because the old one I had from 2013 still worked fine. But I really enjoy the size and wide curved screen of these new monitors and saw this on sale for $250. After researching for awhile and comparing similar monitors I decided to go for it.So far all I can say is for $250 this is a steal. Feels like a $500 monitor to me. The clarity is phenomenal, colors look great and it’s freaking huge. I thought about hooking up my other monitor as well and with my laptop it would be too much. The only downside are the speakers are a bit tinny but what do you expect for in monitor speakers. I will say they’re super loud though. Anyway, if you by chance see it for $250 or even $300 don’t hesitate.

    Good buy

Great monitor looks beautiful and sturdy only issue ive found is the stand for it is absolutely massive and will not work for a majority of computer desks. The stand itself is abouta 12 inch depth and most desks being 19.5 doesnt leave much room for a keyboard or workspace.
