Excellent Performing Binos
The Riton 10×42 ED Binos are excellent. I love ED glass and these make a fine showing. Crystal clear views, excellent colors, perfect contrast. They’re nitrogen filled so they won’t fog up and they are waterproof. The magnesium construction of the Ritons weigh the same as my ED 8×42’s at 23 ounces. I’m short-sighted and wear glasses but have no trouble using these even though their eye relief is 15mm. Ergonomics are fine. An excellent padded case and strap are included as is a strap for the binos themselves. And they have a great warranty.I’m very pleased with these binoculars and consider them first-rate. But the fly in the ointment for many is the price. Are the Ritons hundreds of dollars better when all of its features can be had in less expensive binos?This brings us to the old question of how much money a small increase in performance is worth. Mercedes and BMW trade on this, as do many watch makers, fashion brands, Leicas, etc. Without doubt these are excellent binoculars. I guess it’s up to each potential buyer to answer that question.

Nicest binoculars I have ever owned.
I was impressed the second I took these out of the package. The images are so sharp it’s amazing compared to my older binoculars. These are the perfect size and feel good in my hands, nice texture allows a good hold on them. The details in the description on Amazon are dead on accurate and better written than I can attempt. I checked the performance to see how well they met what the description listed, and they performed every function perfectly. I sure wish I would have gotten them before our trip to Vienna, Austria or our beach trip. Highly recommend. Super pumped to own such a professional pair of binoculars!
