Fantastic product

False advertise again

I had a previous version and returned it because of qr plate basically a nightmare to operate with Panasonic GH5/6 series cameras and they advertised a Bluetooth remote shutter function. Didn’t worked then not working now. I got a gimbal FW updated throug ZY Play to a latest 1.74 version. And it did not work. So here on photo from left to right GH5 GH5II GH6. All rested. 👎 They have those listed on the website though as supported

I LOVE IT ! Great Mini Gimbal and new up grade

I has M3 before and it works good on my canon R6 with 16mm and now even better on R7 with 16mm. I know R7 is much lighter but they also up grade the power motor on the M3s. Also better way of the layout of the buttons. I like the way they did the quick release plate on this new version and it’s much easer to remove the battery this time. Not to mention its light and with a new up grade of the LED light. I Love it!

Support spoiled the impression.This is NOT how USA support is expected to work.(Maybe that level of support is acceptable elsewhere:can’t contest that assertion. No, we are not expectingour fannies licked, but we do not have endless siestasand expect answers reasonably quick and up to thepoint.)Well, Crane has a long way to build agile support.BTW, FYI: if anything happened to your deviceand you are not in the glorious state of WA,you are liable for S&H there, which is on average~$30. Crane won’t issue a shipping label.So, $300 for the M3S + 10% S&H = $330, giveor take.And another hint: if you search your owner’smanual for “sleep” 1 hit is returned.However, your gimbal is likely to becomesleepy at random due to some balancingissues.Enjoy your gimbal!

Producto que no aguanta el peso que segun la web indica (Sony A7III con objetivo), y luego describe que es tambien compatible con mobiles, pero no te avisan que para poder usar esa función tiene que comprar el accesorio.

Lightweight and compact gimbal
The Zhiyun Crane M3S is a small, lightweight gimbal that packs a lot of features and capabilities into it’s small package. It works really well with my Sony ZV-E10with both the Sigma 18-50 and the Tamron 11-20 lenses. I’ve taken this on client video shoots to capture some b-roll footage for social media campaigns and have been really impressed with the stabilization. It has a lot of features I haven’t really explored, with lots of different shooting modes. If I had any complaints, it would be that the documentation, setup process, and user interface on the device itself are pretty bad. That said, I’ve used several gimbals from other companies, and it’s par for the course. Once you get the hang of the initial setup and configuration, how to balance the gimbal, and how to use the software, it’s easy to use and gets great shots.It comes with a hard protective case, a tripod base that can be attached to set it down while fully configured with a camera (very handy), and the battery lasts a really long time… so long in fact that I have rarely even charged it. I only shoot short b-roll clips with it mostly, or for 3-5 minutes at a time at most. I am sure the battery would drain faster on longer shoots, but it’s got USB-C so you could always just plug in an external battery and keep shooting. It also has a built-in light but I haven’t used that and don’t see myself using it – it’s tiny and would be very directional so unless you’re in a pinch, get a battery powered LED light that’s a little bigger and get it off to the side to not get that “flash” look.Overall, this is a great gimbal with lots of features and it works really well for our needs. I definitely recommend it.

Today I’m reviewing the Crane-M 3S by Zhiyun,We’re going to go ahead and open the box. The first thing I notice is that they include a foam carrying case. Inside we find a service card, quick start manual, and then the equipment itself.A small screw-on tripod base, the frame of the gimbal itself with the axis’ locked. Then a small box of accessories such as the screw to lock the camera on and a selection of USB cables.It is fairly lightweight, and I like that it is white in color vs the typical black of my other gimbals.This gimbal was a little more finicky to balance than some of my others. Mainly this tilt-axis height adjustment. Basically, when you loosen it up this little tooth here doesn’t stay straight. So, you think you have it in the right spot, I don’t have the camera here, so it’ll probably be a little easier to do here. You get it to where you think it’s right, then you tighten it down and it would shift. This made it a bit difficult to dial-in. This is something you’re probably not going to do very often, just when you switch out a lens or camera body altogether. For me this is going to be dedicated to a particular camera so once i got it balanced that one time it was fine, but it was a little frustrating the way that that functioned.This gimbal works pretty well for its size. The camera I’m dedicated this to isn’t actually supported so there is a big loss of functionality, but that is not the gimbals’ fault it is all on the camera manufacturer.I was not able to confirm the usability of some of the best features such as Bluetooth camera connectivity and control as I do not have a camera that is compatible with those features. This gimbal is helping to stabilize my footage and I like it better that the scorp-mini for the size.I’m rating this gimbal four out of five stars.Pros- Quick setup- Lightweight- Compact- Built-in fill-lightCons- Tilt-axis height adjustment is finicky- Not a wide range of stabilized movement

Wow, very nice
This stabilizer is very nice and somewhat easy to set up. I have an older one but this one makes it so much easier to use and set up. I like the fact that’s its white so it kind of stands out but it also looks sharp and professional.Stabilization works great once you have it all set up. That’s always the hardest part until you get used to it. Battery life seems to be pretty good to. Although it come nicely packed in a Styrofoam case it would have been much nicer to have a carry type case. The protection is there with the Styrofoam case but no good way to carry it around. That’s the only issue I have with this but its such a good stabilizer that its only a minor problem.These are fairly expensive so this is no different but its well worth it if you do video and need some stabilization for you videos. The quality of this is top notch.

Great Light-Weight Gimbal
This is a light weight gimbal with a suprisingly high payload (1.5 pounds). This means it’s great for small cameras or for a camera without a cage.I primarly use it with the Sony ZV-1 compact camera. It is a such a light weight and compact set-up that it’s easy to bring out and use.The battery life is fantastic. I haven’t run out of juice during a shoot yet.The controls are intuitive. Everything connects and works so easily.I like the 1/4×2 slot on the side for attaching a light, microphone, or monitor. It keeps the weight off the camera/gimbal and adds in versitlity.This is a great value for a smaller camera.

Easy to work with and lightweight
This is a good quality gimbal for the price you pay. I have used another make and model in the past and wanted something slightly lighter with good build quality. This is very easy to work with and at the same time lightweight with robust design. I liked being able to control the zoom with touch. The battery holds charge for significant amount of time. I have not tested it out fully but it has not required charging for the 2 outdoor shootings I have had since I got it. I will test it out further and update review in a few more months. So far, I am quite liking it.

Después de varias pruebas solamente puedo decir que no me ha dejado de sorprender.El Crane M3 es un gimbal de 3 ejes muy estable ante todo tipo de movimientos (incluso baches y saltos), el software es bastante intuitivo y el diseño muy ergonómico, por l que una vez te adaptas al menú y la distribución de los botones es fácil de manejar. Además es multidispositivo por lo que sirve para una cámara compacta, de acción, y hasta con el móvil (aunque necesita un adaptador que no está incluido). Viene con una pantalla táctil de unos 2,5cm x 2,5cm (1,2″) que facilita mucho el tema de los ajustes y el centrado.Puede operarse al 100% con un sola mano por lo que ofrece bastante libertad para utilizar la otra dando indicaciones o utilizando algún dispositivo de iluminación.Resumiendo: aunque inicialmente pueda parecer caro, merece la pena el dinero que vale.

Wenn, „all in one“, dann ist der Crane M3 S sicher eine top Wahl.
Mit diesem Gimbal, also dem Upgrade zu dem Vorgänger Zhiyun Crane M3 ist es Zhiyun echt nochmal gelungen, eine Schippe drauf zu legen. Nochmal kompakter, nochmal besser, nochmal..Ich nutze Gimbals schon seit einer sehr langen Zeit und bin auch nach wie vor der Meinung, dass bei Videos die Kamerafahrten einfach immer wesentlich besser sind, als ohne einem Gimbal. Und das, egal wie gut doch die Integrierten Hilfsmittelchen von Kameras und oder auch Objektiven sind. Die integrierten Lösungen über Software etc. sind und bleiben immer ein Gentleman Agreement und halt eben auch zu Lasten der Bilder. Denn um es ruhig und Smooth zu machen, geht halt immer nur das rein- Cropen.Es sind wie so oft, meist die kleinen Dinge, die den großen Unterschied ausmachen. Und hier hat Zhiyun mit dem Gimbal M3 S vieles richtig gemacht. Beim Gewicht und das ist echt wichtig, war Zhiyun sogar so ehrlich und hat mehr angegeben, als er tatsächlich wiegt. Es nicht viel, aber jedes Gramm zählt. Mein Crane M3 S wiegt aufgeladen und inkl. Schnellwechselplatte 701 Gramm.Die Schnellwechselplatte ist auch so ein kleines feines Detail, was es zwar auch schon an den schon Vorgängern gab aber nach wie vor, zum austauschen der Kameras und oder zum Wechseln des Akkus der Kamera einfach sehr gut ist.Beim Licht hat man dann auch noch einmal etwas an der Helligkeit hinzugefügt, von vormals 800Lux auf aktuell 1000Lux. Also zum Vloggen auf Partys oder Filmen im Nahbereich mit ungünstigen Lichtverhältnissen, ist das völlig ausreichend.Und gerade was meist von einigen Nutzern von Gimbals immer wieder kritisieren, ist bekannter maßen die Einrichtung bzw. das Austarieren der Kameras, wurde ebenfalls nochmals verbessert. Es ist zwar wie es ist, man(n) oder Frau muss sich zwar immer noch mit der Thematik auseinandersetzen und es ein paar Mal gemacht haben, aber es ist schon wie im Vergleich zu anderen Herstellern und oder Vorgängermodellen, deutlich einfacher.Die angegebene Akkulaufzeit von 7,5 Std. ist schon realistisch. Natürlich aber immer in Abhängigkeit von dem Gewicht bzw. Kameramodel und dem Nutzen. Also im permanenten Vortex Modus hält der sicher nicht > 7 Std. Ich habe bei meinen Kamerafahrten mit einer Canon M50 und dem 22mm Pancake Objektiv knapp 5,5 Std. erreicht. Bei der GoPro 11 oder dem Smartphone war es 6 bzw. 6,5 Std. Somit kann ich sagen, dass die Herstellerangaben gut mit der Realität zusammen passen.Das laden des Gimbals, in den angegeben 2 Std. klappte ebenfalls hervorragend und dank der PD Ladetechnik und dem USB-C Anschluss gibt’s eigentlich keine Grenzen mehr.Richtig pfiffig fand ich den Vertikal-Mode. Das ist ja etwas, was nach wie vor, noch von sehr vielen genutzt wird für Instagram , Tik Tok, etc. Bei den mir bekannten, bzw. vorherigen Gimbals, war es immer so, dass dafür meist immer das Gerät also die Kamera umgebaut werden musste und oder es speziell für den Gimbal einen Vertikal Halter gab (Bsp. Crane M2). Hier schaltet man einfach in den „Portrait“ (Vertical) Mode und könnte auch noch mit dem beigefügtem Mini „3- Bein“, dieses an die Seite vom Gimbal an dem ¼“ Zoll Gewinde befestigen. Das war’s.Es gibt an dem Gerät und auch in der App, soviel an Möglichkeiten, dass tatsächlich wohl kaum ein Wunsch unbefriedigt bleibt. Aber wie bereits schon erwähnt, man(n) oder Frau, sollte sich auch wirklich die Zeit nehmen und auch alles mal ausprobieren.Der all in one Gimbal ist pauschal mal für jedes Smartphone, Aktion Cam oder leichtere Kameras gedacht. Bei 1kg Traglast, kann man auch schon einiges darauf montieren. So richtig gut wird es dann aber, wenn man eine von Zhiyun angegebenes Gerät aus der Kompatibilitätsliste besitzt. Dann kann man den kompletten Funktionsumfang genießen und wird mit dem Gerät richtig viel Spaß haben.Fazit > Wenn, „all in one“, dann ist der Crane M3 S sicher, aktuell das Maß der Dinge. Formfaktor, Design und Funktion sind da wie es von Zhiyun beschrieben wird, ein Wunder im Miniaturformat.Ich kann den Gimbal nur wärmstens empfehlen und dafür erhält er auch verdiente 5 Sterne.

Very disappointing, my Lumix S5ii and Prime Lumix 18mm lens didn’t fit or balance right on this gimbal, even though it stated they were compatible on Zhiyun’s website, just about got it balanced, but it was so close to catching the edge of the gimbal arm, no way I was mount my expensive full frame on the baby gimbal

N’étant pas un fana d’appareils photo, j’ai pris ce stabilisateur en ayant pour objectif de l’utiliser avec mon smartphone.Jusque là je ne prenais que des vidéos assez statiques à la main ou à l’aide d’un simple mono-pied.Ici on passe à un autre niveau… (et c’est peu de le dire).La boite est étrange car en réalité il s’agit d’une protection en polystyrène !Attention pas de fermeture physique, perso par mesure de sécurité, j’ai préféré y adjoindre un élastique quand il est rangé à l’intérieur.Dedans l’on a presque tout ce qu’il faut pour démarrer.Seul le manuel est je trouve trop sibyllin pour le néophyte.L’écran (tactile) permet d’accéder assez aisément aux divers menus – et ce malgré ses dimensions ridicules !Attention, pour un smartphone il faudra investir dans un socle dédié.Car toutes les fixations sont livrées avec ce stabilisateur excepté pour les smartphone.L’appareil est très bien fini, il pèse un peu, mais reste maniable.A l’usage, on a pléthore d’options et de paramétrages.Le mode “automatique” de base permet déjà de découvrir un autre univers en terme d’utilisation.Le suivi de l’objet / personne visé est très intéressant et surprenant de facilité.On se prend à faire des “poursuites” au ras du sol (surtout quand on a un animal !)Il faut du temps pour apprivoiser cet engin, mais par la suite c’est un autre pan de la photo/vidéo qui s’ouvre.A@Pogyz

Der Zhiyun Crane M3S Gimbal ist ein erstaunlicher kleiner Helfer. Er liefert alle Funktionen die man von einem modernen Gimbal erwarten kann. Alles was die Produktbeschreibung verspricht, kann er auch.Auch schwerere Kamera wie meine Nikon Z6 sind für ihn kein Problem. Gut gefallen hat mir das ich die Kamera mit dem USB.-C Kabel vom Griff aus fernsteuern kann. An der Seite hat er die Möglichkeit mit einer Stativschraube Zubehör fest zu schrauben. Ich habe da ein Mintstativ was mit einen zweiten Griff biete. Damit kann der Gimbal auch über länger Zeit bequem geführt werden.Insgesamt ein stimmiges Packet das mich überzeugt hat.

Easy handle of Sony body + tamron lens
Although Sony body and lens isnt the heaviest set, it is very close to the mxcimum payload limit of Zhiyun Crane m3s that is 1.12kg, where my set weights 1.07kg and Crane m3s can handle it with no issue. Gimbal itself is small and compact and it’s very travel friendly. It has all modern functions that is needed from one in these days. I didn’t expect anything less from what this gimbal offers me and im very satisfied!

Funktioniert gut mit der Sony A7RII. Inbetriebnahme am Anfang schwierig.
Das Zhiyun Crane M3S ist mein erstes Gimbal dieser Art. Getestet habe ich es mit meiner Sony A7RII und aufgesetztem FE 1.8 20mm G.Für einen Laien wie mich, gestaltete sich die erste Inbetriebnahme umständlich. Einfach mal Loslegen ist nicht drin. Leider ist auch keine Anleitung beigelegt, was bei einem so komplexen Gerät absolut nötig wäre. Nach einer Stunde ausprobieren, war ich so schlau wie am Anfang. Auf der Herstellerseite fand ich dann eine brauchbare englische Anleitung zum downloaden und siehe da, nach ein paar Einstellungen im Kameramenü und der obligatorischen Justage des Gimpal mit aufgesetzter Kamera, konnte ich die ersten Versuche machen.Geht unbedingt zuerst auf die Herstellerseite und schaut Euch die Anleitung an, sonst ist Frust vorprogrammiert. Dort gibt es auch eine Liste, welche Kamera-Objektiv-Kombinationen unterstützt werden.Das Gimpal selbst scheint mir für den Preis gut verarbeitet zu sein. Einige Schienen sind etwas schwergängig beim Schieben. Das macht die Justage etwas schwierig. Keine Ahnung ob das bei anderen Anbietern auch der Fall ist. Eine Angabe über das maximal erlaubte Gewicht der aufgesetzten Kamera konnte ich nirgends finden. Das Gimpal liegt gut in der Hand und der Fuß mit Tischstativ ist vor allem bei der Kalibrierung eine große Hilfe. Das Menü auf dem kleinen Bildschirm wird per Touchscreen bedient und ist übersichtlich angeordnet. Ab und zu bin ich aber ausversehen darauf gekommen und fand mich später in irgendeinem Untermenü wieder. Um sich in den vielen Funktionen zurechtzufinden, hilft wieder ein Blick in die Anleitung. Insgesamt ist die Kombination dann aber schon etwas schwer und die Akkukapazität wird man schon aus diesem Grund kaum ausreizen können. Der Akku ist übrigens fest verbaut und wird per USB geladen. Das Verbindungskabel dürfte für meinen Geschmack etwas länger sein, da es bei mir öfter mal den Bildschirm verdeckt. Die Tasten und der Joystick am Gimpal sind für mich gut erreichbar. Allerdings benötige ich hier bei dem Gewicht auch öfter mal eine zweite Hand.In ersten Versuchen habe ich noch nicht alle Funktionen testen können. Mit dem was ich bisher getestet habe, bin ich als Hobbyfotograf und Filmer aber außerordentlich zufrieden. Da lassen sich schon tolle Kamerafahrten machen, die ohne so ein Gimpal nie so professionell aussehen würden.Es bleibt abzuwarten, ob noch ein Update in deutscher Sprache nachgereicht wird. Immerhin sind bei älteren Produkten des Herstellers auch Anleitung in deutscher Sprache verfügbar.Es wird sicher noch eine ganze Weile Dauern, bis ich hundertprozentig sicher im Umgang mit diesem Gimpal bin. Für meine Ansprüche scheint dieses Gerät jedenfalls absolut ausreichend zu sein.

Non penso si possa chiedere di più a queste cifre
Un gimbal di livello semi-professionale, che funziona benissimo e stabilizza praticamente qualsiasi tipo di mirrorless (a meno di non essere troppo “riggata”).Arriva in una scatola ben protetto da un box di polistirolo, che aiuta a riposizionare tutto in maniera ordinata ma non aiuta nel trasporto perché non ci sono maniglie o borse con zip dedicate.Per chi ha già usato un gimbal l’utilizzo è piuttosto intuitivo, i controlli sono anche touch sullo schermo e tramite joystick e rotella è facile regolare movimenti e valori durante l’utilizzo.Ovviamente richiede un minimo di apprendimento per scoprirne tutte le qualità e le possibilità, ma si vede che tutte le aziende e in particolare Zhiyun stanno facendo passi in avanti in termini di usabilità.C’è anche una luce integrata utile in caso di necessità, ma non ci farei troppo affidamenti in caso di lavori di un certo livello. Risulta ben costruito, solido e stabile, facile da impugnare e non troppo pesante (ovviamente poi dipende dal tipo di carico che ci andiamo ad installare).Sarebbe anche compatibile con smartphone e action cam, ma lo trovo sprecato perché le stabilizzazioni integrate in questi prodotti di solito bastano, e soprattutto sono così vicine all’effetto gimbal che dubito qualcuno faccia uno sforzo in più per montare qualcosa di così compatto su un gimbal comunque molto importante e che richiede diversi settaggi.Ho provato al volo l’app e mi sembra buona, senza infamia e senza lode, secondo me per controllare qualche parametro e movimento da remoto potrebbe tornare utile.Per 280 euro credo non si possa chiedere di più o comunque trovare qualcosa di così completo e funzionale a queste cifre. Per me 5 stelle.

Didn’t work for me
This is a very well reviewed gimbal but I did not like it. I’m using an iPhone 13 Pro, anamorphic lens and variable nd filters. It takes the weight just fine. But I find the handle is too short for my grip and trigger button does not sit under my index finger so it’s awkward to use comfortably. The arms are on the short side and it won’t lock flat and closed when not in use without moving the balance points and then you have to rebalance. I found the arm with the quick release mechanism awkward to use and hard to get it to lock square to the axis. It would do it but it took a few attempts. The big negative for me is that the shutter button does not work with third party apps and is very small. And I tried to connect it as a phone gimbal in the app but the software would not recognize it. The build quality is good and it’s more compact than I expected. I ended up with the Feiyutech Scorp Mini. It’s a little bigger than this one but I like the ergonomics much better and the shutter button works to control Filmic Pro and other apps. And it’s less expensive.

J’adore ce stabilisateurJ’avais déjà entendu parlé de la marque en bien dans des comparateurs et je suis carrément conquise.Je l’utilise avec les fixations pour ma caméra d’action et on est sur un autre niveau d’image.Suivi d’une personne ou d’un objet, l’image est nette, sans défaut.Le support est un peu lourd sur des prises longues mais on s’y fait assez rapidement.Les menus sont assez intuitifs et facile à utiliser. Écran un peu petit mais on y voit clair tout de même..La boîte est peut être le point négatif car elle ne ferme pas vraiment. Du coup je range le tout avec le reste de mes accessoires.Pour l’instant aucun point négatif sur ce stabilisateur que j’embarque sur chaque vidéo 4qk pour un rendu de foli.Un vrai bon appareil.

La verdad es que estoy encantado con este gimbal. Su funcionamiento es muy sencillo y permite mover cámaras reflex con suavidad. Tiene varios modo de uso, permite orientar la cámara con un pequeño joystick y una ruleta, y la luz que incorpora te puede sacar de un apuro. Recomendado
